1 And on hearing it, King Hezekiah took off his robe, and put on haircloth, and went into the house of the Lord.
1 Lorsque le roi Ézéchias eut entendu cela, il déchira ses vêtements, se couvrit d'un sac, et alla dans la maison de l'Éternel.
1 Nuair a chuala Hiziciá rí é sin, stróic sé a éidí agus chlúdaigh é féin le héadach róin agus chuaigh isteach i dTeampall an Tiarna.
1 Y Como el rey Ezechîas lo oyó, rasgó sus vestidos, y cubrióse de saco, y entróse en la casa de Jehová.
1 Da der König Hiskia das hörte, zerriß er seine Kleider und legte einen Sack an und ging in das Haus des Herrn
2 And he sent Eliakim, who was over the house, and Shebna the scribe, and the chief priests, dressed in haircloth, to Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz.
2 Il envoya Éliakim, chef de la maison du roi, Schebna, le secrétaire, et les plus anciens des sacrificateurs, couverts de sacs, vers Ésaïe, le prophète, fils d'Amots.
2 Chuir sé Eiliácaím, reachtaire an pháláis, agus Seabná, an rúnaí, agus seanóirí na sagart, agus iad gléasta in éadach róin, go dtí an fáidh Íseáia mac Ámóz.
2 Y envió á Eliacim el mayordomo, y á Sebna escriba, y á los ancianos de los sacerdotes, vestidos de sacos á Isaías profeta hijo de Amós,
2 und sandte Eljakim, den Hofmeister, und Sebna, den Schreiber, samt den Ältesten der Priester, mit Säcken angetan, zu dem Propheten Jesaja, dem Sohn des Amoz;
3 And they said to him, Hezekiah says, This day is a day of trouble and punishment and shame; for the children are ready to come to birth, but there is no strength to give birth to them.
3 Et ils lui dirent: Ainsi parle Ézéchias: Ce jour est un jour d'angoisse, de châtiment et d'opprobre; car les enfants sont près de sortir du sein maternel, et il n'y a point de force pour l'enfantement.
3 Dúirt siad leis: “Mar seo a deir Hiziciá: ‘Lá anró an lá seo, lá pionóis agus aithise. Tá leanaí i mbéal a mbreithe, ach níl sé de neart ag a máithreacha iad a thabhairt ar an saol.
3 Que le dijesen: Así ha dicho Ezechîas: Este día es día de angustia, y de reprensión, y de blasfemia; porque los hijos han venido hasta la rotura, y la que pare no tiene fuerzas.
3 und sie sprachen zu ihm: So sagt Hiskia: Das ist ein Tag der Not, des Scheltens und des Lästerns; die Kinder sind gekommen an die Geburt und ist keine Kraft da, zu gebären.
4 It may be that the Lord your God will give ear to the words of the Rab-shakeh, whom the king of Assyria, his master, sent to say evil things against the living God, and will make his words come to nothing: so then make your prayer for the rest of the people.
4 Peut-être l'Éternel, ton Dieu, a-t-il entendu toutes les paroles de Rabschaké, que le roi d'Assyrie, son maître, a envoyé pour insulter au Dieu vivant, et peut-être l'Éternel, ton Dieu, exercera-t-il ses châtiments à cause des paroles qu'il a entendues. Fais donc monter une prière pour le reste qui subsiste encore.
4 Go gcluine an Tiarna do Dhia briathra uile an phríomhchornaire a chuir a mháistir, rí na hAsaíre, chun masla a thabhairt do Dhia beo, agus go ndéana an Tiarna do Dhia na briathra a chuala sé a agairt. Cuir suas do ghuí dá bhrí sin ar son an iarmhair atá fágtha.’ ”
4 Quizá oirá Jehová tu Dios todas las palabras de Rabsaces, al cual el rey de los Asirios su señor ha enviado para injuriar al Dios vivo, y á vituperar con palabras, las cuales Jehová tu Dios ha oído: por tanto, eleva oración por las reliquias que aun se hallan.
4 Ob vielleicht der HERR, dein Gott, hören wollte alle Worte des Erzschenken, den sein Herr, der König von Assyrien, gesandt hat, Hohn zu sprechen dem lebendigen Gott und zu schelten mit Worten, die der HERR, dein Gott, gehört hat: So erhebe dein Gebet für die übrigen, die noch vorhanden sind.
5 So the servants of King Hezekiah came to Isaiah.
5 Les serviteurs du roi Ézéchias allèrent donc auprès d'Ésaïe.
5 Nuair a tháinig searbhóntaí an rí Hiziciá go Íseáia,
5 Vinieron pues los siervos del rey Ezechîas á Isaías.
5 Und da die Knechte Hiskias zu Jesaja kamen,
6 And Isaiah said to them, This is what you are to say to your master: The Lord says, Be not troubled by the words which the servants of the king of Assyria have said against me in your hearing.
6 Et Ésaïe leur dit: Voici ce que vous direz à votre maître: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Ne t'effraie point des paroles que tu as entendues et par lesquelles m'ont outragé les serviteurs du roi d'Assyrie.
6 d'fhreagair seisean: “Abraigí le bhur máistir: ‘Mar seo a deir an Tiarna: Ná bíodh eagla oraibh roimh na briathra a chuala sibh ná roimh na maslaí a chaith seirbhísigh rí na hAsaíre liom.
6 E Isaías les respondió: Así diréis á vuestro señor: Así ha dicho Jehová; No temas por las palabras que has oído, con las cuales me han blasfemado los siervos del rey de Asiria.
6 sprach Jesaja zu ihnen: So sagt eurem Herrn: So spricht der HERR: Fürchte dich nicht vor den Worten, die du gehört hast, womit mich die Knechte des Königs von Assyrien gelästert haben.
7 See, I will put a spirit into him, and bad news will come to his ears, and he will go back to his land; and there I will have him put to death by the sword.
7 Je vais mettre en lui un esprit tel que, sur une nouvelle qu'il recevra, il retournera dans son pays; et je le ferai tomber par l'épée dans son pays.
7 Táim ar tí spiorad a chur ann agus cluinfidh sé ráfla agus fillfidh sé ar a thír féin, agus fágfaidh mé ar lár leis an gclaíomh é sa tír sin.’ ”
7 He aquí pondré yo en él un espíritu, y oirá rumor, y volveráse á su tierra: y yo haré que en su tierra caiga á cuchillo.
7 Siehe, ich will ihm einen Geist geben, daß er ein Gerücht hören wird und wieder in sein Land ziehen, und will ihn durchs Schwert fällen in seinem Lande.
8 So the Rab-shakeh went back, and when he got there the king of Assyria was making war against Libnah, for it had come to his ears that he had gone away from Lachish.
8 Rabschaké, s'étant retiré, trouva le roi d'Assyrie qui attaquait Libna, car il avait appris son départ de Lakis.
8 D'fhill an príomhchornaire agus fuair rí na hAsaíre ag troid in aghaidh Libneá mar bhí sé cloiste aige gur fhág an rí Láicís.
8 Y regresando Rabsaces, halló al rey de Asiria combatiendo á Libna; porque había oído que se había partido de Lachîs.
8 Und da der Erzschenke wiederkam, fand er den König von Assyrien streiten wider Libna; denn er hatte gehört, daß er von Lachis gezogen war.
9 And when news came to him that Tirhakah, king of Ethiopia, had made an attack on him, he sent representatives to Hezekiah again, saying,
9 Alors le roi d'Assyrie reçut une nouvelle au sujet de Tirhaka, roi d'Éthiopie; on lui dit: Voici, il s'est mis en marche pour te faire la guerre. Et le roi d'Assyrie envoya de nouveau des messagers à Ézéchias, en disant:
9 Fuair an rí scéala faoi Thiorhácá rí Chúis: “Tá sé chugat chun cath a chur ort.” Litir Shanaichéiríb Chuir Sanaichéiríb teachtairí ag triall ar Hiziciá a rá:
9 Y oyó decir de Thiraca rey de Ethiopía: He aquí es salido para hacerte guerra. Entonces volvió él, y envió embajadores á Ezechîas, diciendo:
9 Und da er hörte von Thirhaka, dem König der Mohren: Siehe, er ist ausgezogen mit dir zu streiten, sandte er abermals Boten zu Hiskia und ließ ihm sagen:
10 This is what you are to say to Hezekiah, king of Judah: Let not your God, in whom is your faith, give you a false hope, saying, Jerusalem will not be given into the hands of the king of Assyria.
10 Vous parlerez ainsi à Ézéchias, roi de Juda: Que ton Dieu, auquel tu te confies, ne t'abuse point en disant: Jérusalem ne sera pas livrée entre les mains du roi d'Assyrie.
10 “Abraigí an méid seo le Hiziciá rí Iúdá: ‘An Dia ar a bhfuil tú ag brath, ná mealladh sé thú á rá: Ní thiocfaidh Iarúsailéim faoi smacht rí na hAsaíre.
10 Así diréis á Ezechîas rey de Judá: No te engañe tu Dios en quien tú confías, para decir: Jerusalem no será entregada en mano del rey de Asiria.
10 So sagt Hiskia, dem König Juda's: Laß dich deinen Gott nicht betrügen, auf den du dich verlässest und sprichst: Jerusalem wird nicht in die Hand des Königs von Assyrien gegeben werden.
11 No doubt the story has come to your ears of what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands, putting them to the curse; and will you be kept safe?
11 Voici, tu as appris ce qu'ont fait les rois d'Assyrie à tous les pays, et comment ils les ont détruits; et toi, tu serais délivré!
11 Tá a fhios agat faoi seo cad a rinne ríthe na hAsaíre le gach tír á gcur faoin mbang? An dóigh, mar sin, go dtiocfaidh tusa slán?
11 He aquí tú has oído lo que han hecho los reyes de Asiria á todas las tierras, destruyéndolas; ¿y has tú de escapar?
11 Siehe, du hast gehört, was die Könige von Assyrien getan haben allen Landen und sie verbannt; und du solltest errettet werden?
12 Did the gods of the nations keep safe those on whom my fathers sent destruction, Gozan and Haran and Rezeph and the children of Eden who were in Telassar?
12 Les dieux des nations que mes pères ont détruites les ont-ils délivrées, Gozan, Charan, Retseph, et les fils d'Éden qui sont à Telassar?
12 Gózán, Hárán, Reizif, muintir Eidin a bhí i dTeil Asár - ar fuasclaíodh iadsan ag na déithe a bhí ag na ciníocha sin a scrios mo shinsir?
12 ¿Libráronlas los dioses de las gentes, que mis padres destruyeron, es á saber, Gozán, y Harán, y Reseph, y los hijos de Edén que estaban en Thalasar?
12 Haben der Heiden Götter auch sie errettet, welche meine Väter haben verderbt: Gosan, Haran, Rezeph und die Kinder Edens, die zu Thelassar waren?
13 Where is the king of Hamath, and the king of Arpad, and the king of the town of Sepharvaim, of Hena and of Ivvah?
13 Où sont le roi de Hamath, le roi d'Arpad, et le roi de la ville de Sepharvaïm, d'Héna et d'Ivva?
13 Cá bhfuil rí Hamát, agus rí Arpád, agus rí chathair Shafarvaím, agus rí Haena, agus Íveá?’ ”

14 And Hezekiah took the letter from the hands of those who had come with it; and after reading it, Hezekiah went up to the house of the Lord, opening the letter there before the Lord.
14 Ézéchias prit la lettre de la main des messagers, et la lut. Puis il monta à la maison de l'Éternel, et la déploya devant l'Éternel,
14 Ghlac Hiziciá an litir as lámha na dteachtairí agus léigh sé í. Chuaigh sé suas chuig Teampall an Tiarna ansin agus leath sé an litir amach os comhair an Tiarna.
14 Y tomó Ezechîas las letras de mano de los embajadores; y después que las hubo leído, subió á la casa de Jehová, y extendiólas Ezechîas delante de Jehová.
14 Und da Hiskia den Brief von den Boten empfangen und gelesen hatte, ging er hinauf zum Hause des HERRN und breitete ihn aus vor dem HERRN
15 And Hezekiah made his prayer to the Lord, saying, O Lord, the God of Israel, seated between the winged ones, you only are the God of all the kingdoms of the earth; you have made heaven and earth.
15 à qui il adressa cette prière: Éternel, Dieu d'Israël, assis sur les chérubins! C'est toi qui es le seul Dieu de tous les royaumes de la terre, c'est toi qui as fait les cieux et la terre.
15 Agus dúirt Hiziciá an urnaí seo i láthair an Tiarna: “A Thiarna na Slua, a Dhia Iosrael, atá i do shuí sa chathaoir ríoga ar na ceiribíní, is tusa amháin Dia ríochtaí uile an domhain; is tusa a rinne neamh agus talamh.
15 Y oró Ezechîas delante de Jehová, diciendo: Jehová Dios de Israel, que habitas entre los querubines, tú solo eres Dios de todos los reinos de la tierra; tú hiciste el cielo y la tierra.
15 und betete vor dem HERRN und sprach: HERR, Gott Israels, der du über dem Cherubim sitzest, du bist allein Gott über alle Königreiche auf Erden, du hast Himmel und Erde gemacht.
16 Let your ear be turned to us, O Lord, and let your eyes be open, O Lord, and see; take note of all the words of Sennacherib who has sent men to say evil against the living God.
16 Éternel! incline ton oreille, et écoute. Éternel! ouvre tes yeux, et regarde. Entends les paroles de Sanchérib, qui a envoyé Rabschaké pour insulter au Dieu vivant.
16 Claon do chluas, a Thiarna, agus éist. Oscail do shúile, a Thiarna, agus feic. Éist le briathra Shanaichéiríb A chuir sé a mhaslú Dé bheo.
16 Inclina, oh Jehová, tu oído, y oye; abre, oh Jehová, tus ojos, y mira: y oye las palabras de Sennachêrib, que ha enviado á blasfemar al Dios viviente.
16 HERR, neige deine Ohren und höre; tue deine Augen auf und siehe, und höre die Worte Sanheribs, der hergesandt hat, Hohn zu sprechen dem lebendigen Gott.
17 Truly, O Lord, the kings of Assyria have made waste the nations and their lands,
17 Il est vrai, ô Éternel! que les rois d'Assyrie ont détruit les nations et ravagé leurs pays,
17 “Is fíor, a Thiarna, gur dhíothaigh ríthe na hAsaíre na náisiúin [agus a dtíortha].
17 Es verdad, oh Jehová, que los reyes de Asiria han destruído las gentes y sus tierras;
17 Es ist wahr HERR, die Könige von Assyrien haben die Heiden mit dem Schwert umgebracht und ihr Land
18 And have given their gods to the fire; for they were no gods, but wood and stone, the work of men's hands; so they have given them to destruction.
18 et qu'ils ont jeté leurs dieux dans le feu; mais ce n'étaient point des dieux, c'étaient des ouvrages de mains d'homme, du bois et de la pierre; et ils les ont anéantis.
18 Chaith siad a ndéithe isteach sa tine, mar nár dhéithe ar bith iad sin, ach saothar lámh daonna, déanta as adhmad agus cloch; agus ar an ábhar sin scriosadh iad.
18 Y que pusieron en el fuego á sus dioses, por cuanto ellos no eran dioses, sino obra de manos de hombres, madera ó piedra, y así los destruyeron.
18 und haben ihre Götter ins Feuer geworfen. Denn es waren nicht Götter, sondern Werke von Menschenhänden, Holz und Stein; darum haben sie sie vertilgt.
19 But now, O Lord our God, give us salvation from his hands, so that it may be clear to all the kingdoms of the earth that you and only you, O Lord, are God.
19 Maintenant, Éternel, notre Dieu! délivre-nous de la main de Sanchérib, et que tous les royaumes de la terre sachent que toi seul es Dieu, ô Éternel!
19 Ach anois, a Thiarna, a Dhia linn, saor sinne óna láimh, impím ort, i dtreo go mbeadh a fhios ag ríochtaí uile na cruinne gur tusa amháin is Dia, a Thiarna.” Fáistine Íseáia
19 Ahora pues, oh Jehová Dios nuestro, sálvanos, te suplico, de su mano, para que sepan todos los reinos de la tierra que tú solo, Jehová, eres Dios.
19 Nun aber, HERR, unser Gott, hilf uns aus seiner Hand, auf daß alle Königreiche auf Erden erkennen, daß du, HERR, allein Gott bist.
20 Then Isaiah, the son of Amoz, sent to Hezekiah, saying, The Lord, the God of Israel, says, The prayer which you have made to me against Sennacherib, king of Assyria, has come to my ears.
20 Alors Ésaïe, fils d'Amots, envoya dire à Ézéchias: Ainsi parle l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël: J'ai entendu la prière que tu m'as adressée au sujet de Sanchérib, roi d'Assyrie.
20 Ansin chuir Íseáia mac Ámóz scéala chuig Hiziciá. Dúirt sé: “Seo mar a deir an Tiarna Dia Iosrael: ‘Chuala mé an achainí a rinne tú orm faoi Shanaichéiríb rí na hAsaíre.’
20 Entonces Isaías hijo de Amós envió á decir á Ezechîas: Así ha dicho Jehová, Dios de Israel: Lo que me rogaste acerca de Sennachêrib rey de Asiria, he oído.
20 Da sandte Jesaja, der Sohn Amoz, zu Hiskia und ließ ihm sagen: So spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels: Was du zu mir gebetet hast um Sanherib, den König von Assyrien, das habe ich gehört.
21 This is the word which the Lord has said about him: In the eyes of the virgin daughter of Zion you are shamed and laughed at; the daughter of Jerusalem has made sport of you.
21 Voici la parole que l'Éternel a prononcée contre lui: Elle te méprise, elle se moque de toi, La vierge, fille de Sion; Elle hoche la tête après toi, La fille de Jérusalem.

22 Against whom have you said evil and bitter things? against whom has your voice been loud and your eyes lifted up? even against the Holy One of Israel.
22 Qui as-tu insulté et outragé? Contre qui as-tu élevé la voix? Tu as porté tes yeux en haut Sur le Saint d'Israël!
22 Cé dó ar thug tú masla agus tarcaisne? Cé hé ar ardaigh tú do ghlór ina aghaidh Agus ar fhéach tú suas air le huaill do shúl? Aon Naofa Iosrael!
22 ¿A quién has injuriado y á quién has blasfemado? ¿y contra quién has hablado alto, y has alzado en alto tus ojos? Contra el Santo de Israel.
22 Wen hast du gehöhnt und gelästert? Über wen hast du deine Stimme erhoben? Du hast deine Augen erhoben wider den Heiligen in Israel.
23 You have sent your servants with evil words against the Lord, and have said, With all my war-carriages I have come up to the top of the mountains, to the inmost parts of Lebanon; its tall cedars will be cut down, and the best trees of its woods; I will come up into his highest places, into his thick woods.
23 Par tes messagers tu as insulté le Seigneur, Et tu as dit: Avec la multitude de mes chars, J'ai gravi le sommet des montagnes, Les extrémités du Liban; Je couperai les plus élevés de ses cèdres, Les plus beaux de ses cyprès, Et j'atteindrai sa dernière cime, Sa forêt semblable à un verger;
23 Thug tú aithis don Tiarna trí do theachtairí; dúirt tú: Le mo shluaite carbad ghabh mé suas ar bheanna na sléibhte, ar bheanna buaice na Liobáine. Ghearr mé anuas na céadair is airde ann, tógha a chufróg. Ghabh mé isteach ina ascaillí cúil agus i ndoimhne a fhoraoise.
23 Por mano de tus mensajeros has proferido injuria contra el Señor, y has dicho: Con la multitud de mis carros he subido á las cumbres de los montes, á las cuestas del Líbano; y cortaré sus altos cedros, sus hayas escogidas; y entraré á la morada de su término, al monte de su Carmel.
23 Du hast den HERRN durch deine Boten gehöhnt und gesagt: "Ich bin durch die Menge meiner Wagen auf die Höhen der Berge gestiegen, auf den innersten Libanon; ich habe seine hohen Zedern und auserlesenen Tannen abgehauen und bin gekommen an seine äußerste Herberge, an den Wald seines Baumgartens.
24 I have made water-holes and taken their waters, and with my foot I have made all the rivers of Egypt dry.

24 Yo he cavado y bebido las aguas ajenas, y he secado con las plantas de mis pies todos los ríos de lugares bloqueados.
24 Ich habe gegraben und ausgetrunken die fremden Wasser und werde austrocknen mit meinen Fußsohlen alle Flüsse Ägyptens."
25 Has it not come to your ears how I did it long before, purposing it in times long past? Now I have given effect to my design, so that by you strong towns might be turned into masses of broken walls.
25 N'as-tu pas appris que j'ai préparé ces choses de loin, Et que je les ai résolues dès les temps anciens? Maintenant j'ai permis qu'elles s'accomplissent, Et que tu réduisisses des villes fortes en monceaux de ruines.
25 Ar chuala tú? Fadó a chinn mé air agus bheartaigh mé ó na cianta a bhfuil á chur i gcrích anois agam. Ba é do ghnó na cathracha daingne a leagan ar lár ina bhfothracha.
25 ¿Nunca has oído que mucho tiempo ha yo lo hice, y de días antiguos lo he formado? Y ahora lo he hecho venir, y fué para desolación de ciudades fuertes en montones de ruinas.
25 Hast du aber nicht gehört, daß ich solches lange zuvor getan habe, und von Anfang habe ich's bereitet? Nun aber habe ich's kommen lassen, daß die festen Städte werden fallen in einen wüsten Steinhaufen,
26 This is why their townsmen had no power, they were broken and put to shame; they were like the grass of the field and the green plant, like grass on the house-tops.
26 Leurs habitants sont impuissants, Épouvantés et confus; Ils sont comme l'herbe des champs et la tendre verdure, Comme le gazon des toits Et le blé qui sèche avant la formation de sa tige.

26 Y sus moradores, cortos de manos, quebrantados y confusos, fueron cual hierba del campo, como legumbre verde, y heno de los tejados, que antes que venga á madurez es seco.
26 und die darin wohnen, matt werden und sich fürchten und schämen müssen und werden wie das Gras auf dem Felde und wie das grüne Kraut, wie Gras auf den Dächern, das verdorrt, ehe denn es reif wird.
27 But I have knowledge of your getting up and your resting, of your going out and your coming in.
27 Mais je sais quand tu t'assieds, quand tu sors et quand tu entres, Et quand tu es furieux contre moi.

28 Parce que tu es furieux contre moi, Et que ton arrogance est montée à mes oreilles, Je mettrai ma boucle à tes narines et mon mors entre tes lèvres, Et je te ferai retourner par le chemin par lequel tu es venu.
28 De bhrí gur éirígh tú amach le fraoch i mo choinne, agus gur chuala mo chluas uaill d'uabhair, cuirfidh mé m'fháinne ar do shrón, agus mo bhéalbhach i do bhéal, agus cuirfidh mé d'iallach ort filleadh ar ais ar an mbóthar ar ar tháinig tú.
28 Por cuanto te has airado contra mí, y tu estruendo ha subido á mis oídos, yo por tanto pondré mi anzuelo en tus narices, y mi bocado en tus labios, y te haré volver por el camino por donde viniste.
28 Weil du denn wider mich tobst und dein Übermut vor meine Ohren heraufgekommen ist, so will ich dir einen Ring an deine Nase legen und ein Gebiß in dein Maul und will dich den Weg wieder zurückführen, da du her gekommen bist.
29 And this will be the sign to you: you will get your food this year from what comes up of itself; and in the second year from the produce of the same; and in the third year you will put in your seed and get in the grain and make vine-gardens and take of their fruit.
29 Que ceci soit un signe pour toi: On a mangé une année le produit du grain tombé, et une seconde année ce qui croît de soi-même; mais la troisième année, vous sèmerez, vous moissonnerez, vous planterez des vignes, et vous en mangerez le fruit.
29 Agus beidh sé seo mar chomhartha agat: i mbliana íosfaidh sibh an grán a fhásfaidh uaidh féin, agus an bhliain seo chugainn a bhfásfaidh as sin ar an mbán. Ach cuirigí síol agus bainigí fómhar an tríú bliain, saothraígí fíonghoirt agus ithigí a dtoradh.
29 Y esto te será por señal Ezechîas: Este año comerás lo que nacerá de suyo, y el segundo año lo que nacerá de suyo; y el tercer año haréis sementera, y segaréis, y plantaréis viñas, y comeréis el fruto de ellas.
29 Und das sei dir ein Zeichen: In diesem Jahr iß, was von selber wächst; im andern Jahr, was noch aus den Wurzeln wächst; im dritten Jahr säet und erntet, und pflanzt Weinberge und esset ihre Früchte.
30 And those of Judah who are still living will again take root in the earth and give fruit.
30 Ce qui aura été sauvé de la maison de Juda, ce qui sera resté poussera encore des racines par-dessous, et portera du fruit par-dessus.
30 An t‑iarmhar a fhágfar de theaghlach Iúdá, cuirfidh sé fréamha úra amach thíos agus torthaí thuas.
30 Y lo que hubiere escapado, lo que habrá quedado de la casa de Judá, tornará á echar raíz abajo, y hará fruto arriba.
30 Und was vom Hause Juda's errettet und übriggeblieben ist, wird fürder unter sich wurzeln und über sich Frucht tragen.
31 For from Jerusalem those who have been kept safe will go out, and those who are still living will go out of Mount Zion: by the fixed purpose of the Lord of armies this will be done.
31 Car de Jérusalem il sortira un reste, et de la montagne de Sion des réchappés. Voilà ce que fera le zèle de l'Éternel des armées.
31 Óir rachaidh iarmhar amach as Iarúsailéim agus fuíoll áir ó Chnoc Shíón. Dúthracht an Tiarna a chuirfidh é sin i gcrích.’
31 Porque saldrán de Jerusalem reliquias, y los que escaparán, del monte de Sión: el celo de Jehová de los ejércitos hará esto.
31 Denn von Jerusalem werden ausgehen, die übriggeblieben sind, und die Erretteten vom Berge Zion. Der Eifer des HERRN Zebaoth wird solches tun.
32 For this cause the Lord says about the king of Assyria, He will not come into this town, or send an arrow against it; he will not come before it with arms, or put up an earthwork against it;
32 C'est pourquoi ainsi parle l'Éternel sur le roi d'Assyrie: Il n'entrera point dans cette ville, Il n'y lancera point de traits, Il ne lui présentera point de boucliers, Et il n'élèvera point de retranchements contre elle.
32 “Seo mar a deir an Tiarna faoi rí na hAsaíre: ‘Ní thiocfaidh sé isteach sa chathair seo, Ná ní scaoilfidh sé saighead léi, Ná ní sheasfaidh ina coinne le sciath, Ná ní thógfaidh múr léigir ina haghaidh.
32 Por tanto, Jehová dice así del rey de Asiria: No entrará en esta ciudad, ni echará saeta en ella; ni vendrá delante de ella escudo, ni será echado contra ella baluarte.
32 Darum spricht der HERR vom König von Assyrien also: Er soll nicht in diese Stadt kommen und keinen Pfeil hineinschießen und mit keinem Schilde davonkommen und soll keinen Wall darum schütten;
33 By the way he came he will go back, and he will not get into this town, says the Lord.
33 Il s'en retournera par le chemin par lequel il est venu, Et il n'entrera point dans cette ville, dit l'Éternel.

33 Por el camino que vino se volverá, y no entrará en esta ciudad, dice Jehová.

34 For I will keep this town safe, for my honour, and for the honour of my servant David.

34 Porque yo ampararé á esta ciudad para salvarla, por amor de mí, y por amor de David mi siervo.
34 Und ich will diese Stadt beschirmen, daß ich ihr helfe um meinetwillen und um Davids, meines Knechtes, willen.
35 And that night the angel of the Lord went out and put to death in the army of the Assyrians a hundred and eighty-five thousand men; and when the people got up early in the morning, there was nothing to be seen but dead bodies.
35 Cette nuit-là, l'ange de l'Éternel sortit, et frappa dans le camp des Assyriens cent quatre-vingt-cinq mille hommes. Et quand on se leva le matin, voici, c'étaient tous des corps morts.

35 Y aconteció que la misma noche salió el ángel de Jehová, é hirió en el campo de los Asirios ciento ochenta y cinco mil; y como se levantaron por la mañana, he aquí los cuerpos de los muertos.
35 Und in derselben Nacht fuhr aus der Engel des HERRN und schlug im Lager von Assyrien hundertfünfundachtzigtausend Mann. Und da sie sich des Morgens früh aufmachten, siehe, da lag's alles eitel tote Leichname.
36 So Sennacherib, king of Assyria, went back to his place at Nineveh.
36 Alors Sanchérib, roi d'Assyrie, leva son camp, partit et s'en retourna; et il resta à Ninive.

36 Entonces Sennachêrib, rey de Asiria se partió, y se fué y tornó á Nínive, donde se estuvo.
36 Also brach Sanherib, der König von Assyrien, auf und zog weg und kehrte um und blieb zu Ninive.
37 And it came about, when he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that his sons Adrammelech and Sharezer put him to death with the sword; and they went in flight into the land of Ararat. And Esar-haddon his son became king in his place.
37 Or, comme il était prosterné dans la maison de Nisroc, son dieu, Adrammélec et Scharetser, ses fils, le frappèrent avec l'épée, et s'enfuirent au pays d'Ararat. Et Ésar Haddon, son fils, régna à sa place.
