1 In the twelfth year of Ahaz, king of Judah, Hoshea, the son of Elah, became king over Israel in Samaria, ruling for nine years.
1 La douzième année d'Achaz, roi de Juda, Osée, fils d'Éla, régna sur Israël à Samarie. Il régna neuf ans.

1 En el año duodécimo de Achâz rey de Judá, comenzó á reinar Oseas hijo de Ela en Samaria sobre Israel; y reinó nueve años.
1 Im zwölften Jahr des Ahas, des Königs in Juda, ward König über Israel zu Samaria Hosea, der Sohn Elas, neun Jahre;
2 He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, though not like the kings of Israel before him.
2 Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel, non pas toutefois comme les rois d'Israël qui avaient été avant lui.

2 E hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová, aunque no como los reyes de Israel que antes de él habían sido.
2 und er tat, was dem HERRN übel gefiel, doch nicht wie die Könige Israels, die vor ihm waren.
3 Against him came up Shalmaneser, king of Assyria, and Hoshea became his servant and sent him offerings.
3 Salmanasar, roi d'Assyrie, monta contre lui; et Osée lui fut assujetti, et lui paya un tribut.
3 Chuir Sealmaineisir rí na hAsaíre cogadh ar Hóiséa agus ghéill seisean dó agus thug cáin dó.
3 Contra éste subió Salmanasar rey de los Asirios; y Oseas fué hecho su siervo, y pagábale tributo.
3 Wider denselben zog herauf Salmanasser, der König von Assyrien. Und Hosea ward ihm untertan, daß er ihm Geschenke gab.
4 But Hoshea's broken faith became clear to the king of Assyria because he had sent representatives to So, king of Egypt, and did not send his offering to the king of Assyria, as he had done year by year: so the king of Assyria had him shut up in prison and put in chains.
4 Mais le roi d'Assyrie découvrit une conspiration chez Osée, qui avait envoyé des messagers à So, roi d'Égypte, et qui ne payait plus annuellement le tribut au roi d'Assyrie. Le roi d'Assyrie le fit enfermer et enchaîner dans une prison.
4 Ach rug rí na hAsaíre ar Hóiséa ag déanamh fill air; bhí teachtairí curtha aige go dtí Só, rí na hÉigipte, gan an cháin a thabhairt do rí na hAsaíre mar a rinne na blianta roimhe sin. Uime sin ghabh rí na hAsaíre é agus chuir faoi chuibhreach i gcarcair é.
4 Mas el rey de Asiria halló que Oseas hacía conjuración: porque había enviado embajadores á So, rey de Egipto, y no pagaba tributo al rey de Asiria, como cada año: por lo que el rey de Asiria le detuvo, y le aprisionó en la casa de la cárcel.
4 Da aber der König von Assyrien inneward, daß Hosea einen Bund anrichtete und hatte Boten zu So, dem König in Ägypten, gesandt, griff er ihn und legte ihn ins Gefängnis.
5 Then the king of Assyria went through all the land and came up to Samaria, shutting it in with his forces for three years.
5 Et le roi d'Assyrie parcourut tout le pays, et monta contre Samarie, qu'il assiégea pendant trois ans.
5 Ansin rinne rí na hAsaíre ionradh ar an tír ar fad; tháinig sé chuig an tSamáir agus chuir sé léigear uirthi ar feadh trí bliana.
5 Y el rey de Asiria partió contra todo el país, y subió contra Samaria, y estuvo sobre ella tres años.
5 Nämlich der König von Assyrien zog über das ganze Land und gen Samaria und belagerte es drei Jahre.
6 In the ninth year of Hoshea, the king of Assyria took Samaria, and took Israel away to Assyria, placing them in Halah and in Habor on the river Gozan, and in the towns of the Medes.
6 La neuvième année d'Osée, le roi d'Assyrie prit Samarie, et emmena Israël captif en Assyrie. Il les fit habiter à Chalach, et sur le Chabor, fleuve de Gozan, et dans les villes des Mèdes.
6 Sa naoú bliain de réimeas Hóiséa ghabh rí na hAsaíre an tSamáir agus dhíbir sé na hIosraelaigh chun na hAsaíre. Chuir sé ina gcónaí iad i Hala agus ar an Hábór, abhainn de chuid Ghózán, agus i gcathracha na Méideach. Machnamh ar an Tubaiste
6 En el año nueve de Oseas tomó el rey de Asiria á Samaria, y trasportó á Israel á Asiria, y púsolos en Hala, y en Habor, junto al río de Gozán, y en las ciudades de los Medos.
6 Und im neunten Jahr Hoseas gewann der König von Assyrien Samaria und führte Israel weg nach Assyrien und setzte sie nach Halah und an den Habor, an das Wasser Gosan und in die Städte der Meder.
7 And the wrath of the Lord came on Israel because they had done evil against the Lord their God, who took them out of the land of Egypt from under the yoke of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and had become worshippers of other gods,
7 Cela arriva parce que les enfants d'Israël péchèrent contre l'Éternel, leur Dieu, qui les avait fait monter du pays d'Égypte, de dessous la main de Pharaon, roi d'Égypte, et parce qu'ils craignirent d'autres dieux.
7 Tharla sin de bhrí gur pheacaigh clann Iosrael in aghaidh an Tiarna a nDia, a thug slán amach iad as críocha na hÉigipte, ó smacht Fhorainn, rí na hÉigipte. Thug siad adhradh do dhéithe eile,
7 Porque como los hijos de Israel pecasen contra Jehová su Dios, que los sacó de tierra de Egipto de bajo la mano de Faraón rey de Egipto, y temiesen á dioses ajenos,
7 Denn die Kinder Israel sündigten wider den HERRN, ihren Gott, der sie aus Ägyptenland geführt hatte, aus der Hand Pharaos, des Königs von Ägypten, und fürchteten andere Götter
8 Living by the rules of the nations whom the Lord had sent out from before the children of Israel.
8 Ils suivirent les coutumes des nations que l'Éternel avait chassés devant les enfants d'Israël, et celles que les rois d'Israël avaient établies.
8 lean siad nósanna na gciníocha a bhí curtha as a seilbh ag an Tiarna roimh chlann Iosrael [agus na nósanna ar chuir ríthe Iosrael tús leo].
8 Y anduviesen en los estatutos de las gentes que Jehová había lanzado delante de los hijos de Israel, y en los de los reyes de Israel, que hicieron;
8 und wandelten nach der Heiden Weise, die der HERR vor den Kindern Israel vertrieben hatte, und taten wie die Könige Israels;
9 And the children of Israel did secretly against the Lord their God things which were not right, building high places for themselves in all their towns, from the tower of the watchmen to the walled town.
9 Les enfants d'Israël firent en secret contre l'Éternel, leur Dieu, des choses qui ne sont pas bien. Ils se bâtirent des hauts lieux dans toutes leurs villes, depuis les tours des gardes jusqu'aux villes fortes.
9 Dúirt clann Iosrael nithe éagóra in aghaidh an Tiarna a nDia. Cibé áit inar chuir siad fúthu, ó thúr faire go cathair dhaingean, thóg siad ardionaid dóibh féin.
9 Y como los hijos de Israel paliasen cosas no rectas contra Jehová su Dios, edificándose altos en todas sus ciudades, desde las torres de las atalayas hasta las ciudades fuertes,
9 und die Kinder Israels schmückten ihre Sachen wider den HERRN, ihren Gott, die doch nicht gut waren, also daß sie sich Höhen bauten in allen Städten, von den Wachttürmen bis zu den festen Städten,
10 They put up pillars of stone and wood on every high hill and under every green tree:
10 Ils se dressèrent des statues et des idoles sur toute colline élevée et sous tout arbre vert.
10 Chuir siad suas colúin agus cuaillí naofa dóibh féin ar gach cnoc ard agus faoi gach crann craobhach.
10 Y se levantasen estatuas y bosques en todo collado alto, y debajo de todo árbol umbroso,
10 und richteten Säulen auf und Ascherabilder auf allen hohen Hügeln und unter allen grünen Bäumen,
11 Burning their offerings in all the high places, as those nations did whom the Lord sent away from before them; they did evil things, moving the Lord to wrath;
11 Et là ils brûlèrent des parfums sur tous les hauts lieux, comme les nations que l'Éternel avait chassées devant eux, et ils firent des choses mauvaises, par lesquelles ils irritèrent l'Éternel.
11 D'ofrálaidís íobairtí túise [ar na hardionaid go léir] mar a dhéanadh na ciníocha go léir a dhíbir an Tiarna rompu. Rinneadar gníomhartha coiriúla agus ghriogadar an Tiarna chun feirge.
11 Y quemasen allí perfumes en todos los altos, á la manera de las gentes que había Jehová traspuesto delante de ellos, é hiciesen cosas muy malas para provocar á ira á Jehová,
11 und räucherten daselbst auf allen Höhen wie die Heiden, die der HERR vor ihnen weggetrieben hatte, und sie trieben böse Stücke, den HERRN zu erzürnen,
12 And they made themselves servants of disgusting things, though the Lord had said, You are not to do this.
12 Ils servirent les idoles dont l'Éternel leur avait dit: Vous ne ferez pas cela.
12 D'adhradar íola cé go ndúirt an Tiarna leo: “Ná déanaigí amhlaidh.”
12 Pues servían á los ídolos, de los cuales Jehová les había dicho: Vosotros no habéis de hacer esto;
12 und dienten den Götzen, davon der HERR zu ihnen gesagt hatte: Ihr sollt solches nicht tun;
13 And he gave witness to Israel and Judah, by every prophet and seer, saying, Come back from your evil ways, and do my orders and keep my rules, and be guided by the law which I gave to your fathers and sent to you by my servants the prophets.
13 L'Éternel fit avertir Israël et Juda par tous ses prophètes, par tous les voyants, et leur dit: Revenez de vos mauvaises voies, et observez mes commandements et mes ordonnances, en suivant entièrement la loi que j'ai prescrite à vos pères et que je vous ai envoyée par mes serviteurs les prophètes.
13 Mar sin féin thug an Tiarna an rabhadh seo d'Iosrael agus do Iúdá trí bhéal na bhfáithe agus an lucht físe go léir: “Filligí ó bhur ndrochshlite agus coinnigí m'aitheanta agus mo reachtanna de réir an dlí iomláin a leag mé amach do bhur n‑aithreacha agus a thug mé daoibh trí mo shearbhóntaí, na fáithe.”
13 Jehová protestaba entonces contra Israel y contra Judá, por mano de todos los profetas, y de todos los videntes, diciendo: Volveos de vuestros malos caminos, y guardad mis mandamientos y mis ordenanzas, conforme á todas las leyes que yo prescribí á vuestros padres, y que os he enviado por mano de mis siervos los profetas.
13 und wenn der HERR bezeugte in Israel und Juda durch alle Propheten und Seher und ließ ihnen sagen: Kehret um von euren bösen Wegen und haltet meine Gebote und Rechte nach allem Gesetz, das ich euren Vätern geboten habe und das ich zu euch gesandt habe durch meine Knechte, die Propheten:
14 And they did not give ear, but became stiff-necked, like their fathers who had no faith in the Lord their God.
14 Mais ils n'écoutèrent point, et ils roidirent leur cou, comme leurs pères, qui n'avaient pas cru en l'Éternel, leur Dieu.
14 Ach ní éistfeadh siad; bhí siad níos stuacaí ná a sinsir a bhí gan creideamh sa Tiarna a nDia.
14 Mas ellos no obedecieron, antes endurecieron su cerviz, como la cerviz de sus padres, los cuales no creyeron en Jehová su Dios.
14 so gehorchen sie nicht, sondern härteten ihren Nacken gleich dem Nacken ihrer Väter, die nicht glaubten an den HERRN, ihren Gott;
15 And they went against his rules, and the agreement which he made with their fathers, and his laws which he gave them; they gave themselves up to things without sense or value, and became foolish like the nations round them, of whom the Lord had said, Do not as they do.
15 Ils rejetèrent ses lois, l'alliance qu'il avait faite avec leurs pères, et les avertissements qu'il leur avait adressés. Ils allèrent après des choses de néant et ne furent eux-mêmes que néant, et après les nations qui les entouraient et que l'Éternel leur avait défendu d'imiter.
15 Ní raibh ach dímheas acu ar a dhlíthe agus ar an gconradh a rinne sé lena sinsir, agus ar gach rabhadh a bhí tugtha aige dóibh. Lean siad déithe bréige agus d'éirigh siad féin bréagach; rinne siad aithris ar na ciníocha ina dtimpeall, cé gur ordaigh an Tiarna dóibh gan déanamh mar a dhéanaidís siúd.
15 Y desecharon sus estatutos, y su pacto que él había concertado con sus padres, y sus testimonios que él había protestado contra ellos; y siguieron la vanidad, y se hicieron vanos, y fueron en pos de las gentes que estaban alrededor de ellos, de las cuales les había Jehová mandado que no hiciesen á la manera de ellas:
15 dazu verachteten sie seine Gebote und seinen Bund, den er mit ihren Vätern gemacht hatte, und seine Zeugnisse, die er unter ihnen tat, und wandelten ihrer Eitelkeit nach und wurden eitel den Heiden nach, die um sie her wohnten, von welchen ihnen der HERR geboten hatte, sie sollten nicht wie sie tun;
16 And turning their backs on all the orders which the Lord had given them, they made for themselves images of metal, and the image of Asherah, worshipping all the stars of heaven and becoming servants to Baal.
16 Ils abandonnèrent tous les commandements de l'Éternel, leur Dieu, ils se firent deux veaux en fonte, ils fabriquèrent des idoles d'Astarté, ils se prosternèrent devant toute l'armée des cieux, et ils servirent Baal.
16 Thug siad droim láimhe le haitheanta an Tiarna a nDia, agus rinne siad íola de mhiotal leáite, dhá lao, dóibh fén; rinne siad cuaillí naofa dóibh féin, agus thug siad adhradh do shluaite uile na spéire, agus seirbhís do Bhál.
16 Y dejaron todos los mandamientos de Jehová su Dios, é hiciéronse vaciadizos dos becerros, y también bosques, y adoraron á todo el ejército del cielo, y sirvieron á Baal:
16 aber sie verließen alle Gebote des HERRN, ihres Gottes, und machten sich zwei gegossene Kälber und Ascherabild und beteten an alles Heer des Himmels und dienten Baal
17 And they made their sons and their daughters go through the fire, and they made use of secret arts and unnatural powers, and gave themselves up to doing evil in the eyes of the Lord, till he was moved to wrath.
17 Ils firent passer par le feu leurs fils et leurs filles, ils se livrèrent à la divination et aux enchantements, et ils se vendirent pour faire ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel, afin de l'irriter.
17 Chuir siad d'iallach ar a gclann mhac agus iníonacha gabháil trí thine; chleacht siad fáidheoireacht agus piseoga agus rinne siad iad féin a reic le holc a dhéanamh i bhfianaise an Tiarna, á ghriogadh chun feirge.
17 E hicieron pasar á sus hijos y á sus hijas por fuego; y diéronse á adivinaciones y agüeros, y entregáronse á hacer lo malo en ojos de Jehová, provocándole á ira.
17 und ließen ihre Söhne und Töchter durchs Feuer gehen und gingen mit Weissagen und Zaubern um und verkauften sich, zu tun, was dem HERRN übel gefiel, ihn zu erzürnen:
18 So the Lord was very angry with Israel, and his face was turned away from them: only the tribe of Judah kept its place.
18 Aussi l'Éternel s'est-il fortement irrité contre Israël, et les a-t-il éloignés de sa face. -Il n'est resté que la seule tribu de Juda.
18 Mar gheall air sin bhí an Tiarna i bhfeirg le hIosrael agus chaith sé uaidh iad. Níor fágadh ach treibh Iúdá amháin.
18 Jehová por tanto se airó en gran manera contra Israel, y quitólos de delante de su rostro; que no quedó sino sólo la tribu de Judá.
18 da ward der HERR sehr zornig über Israel und tat sie von seinem Angesicht, daß nichts übrigblieb denn der Stamm Juda allein.
19 (But even Judah did not keep the orders of the Lord their God, but were guided by the rules which Israel had made.
19 Juda même n'avait pas gardé les commandements de l'Éternel, son Dieu, et ils avaient suivi les coutumes établies par Israël. -
19 Ach níor choimeád Iúdá freisin aitheanta an Tiarna, a nDia, ach aithris a dhéanamh ar na nósanna ar chuir Iosrael tús leo.
19 Mas ni aun Judá guardó los mandamientos de Jehová su Dios; antes anduvieron en los estatutos de Israel, los cuales habían ellos hecho.
19 (Dazu hielten auch die von Juda nicht die Gebote des HERRN, ihres Gottes, und wandelten in den Sitten, darnach Israel getan hatte.)
20 So the Lord would have nothing to do with all the offspring of Israel, and sent trouble on them, and gave them up into the hands of their attackers, till he had sent them away from before his face.)
20 L'Éternel a rejeté toute la race d'Israël; il les a humiliés, il les a livrés entre les mains des pillards, et il a fini par les chasser loin de sa face.
20 Chaith an Tiarna sliocht Iosrael go léir i leataobh; leag ar lár iad, agus thug i lámha lucht a gcreachta iad go dtí ar deireadh gur thiomáin sé uaidh iad.
20 Y desechó Jehová toda la simiente de Israel, y afligiólos, y entrególos en manos de saqueadores, hasta echarlos de su presencia.
20 Darum verwarf der HERR allen Samen Israels und drängte sie und gab sie in die Hände der Räuber, bis er sie verwarf von seinem Angesicht.
21 For Israel was broken off from the family of David, and they made Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, king, who, driving them away from the laws of the Lord, made them do a great sin.
21 Car Israël s'était détaché de la maison de David, et ils avaient fait roi Jéroboam, fils de Nebath, qui les avait détournés de l'Éternel, et avait fait commettre à Israël un grand péché.
21 Nuair a stoll sé Iosrael ó theaghlach Dháiví, rinne siad rí de Iarobám mac Nabát. Agus sheol Iarobám Iosrael ó lorg an Tiarna agus threoraigh iad isteach i gcoir mhór.
21 Porque cortó á Israel de la casa de David, y ellos se hicieron rey á Jeroboam hijo de Nabat; y Jeroboam rempujó á Israel de en pos de Jehová, é hízoles cometer gran pecado.
21 Denn Israel ward gerissen vom Hause Davids; und sie machten zum König Jerobeam, den Sohn Nebats. Derselbe wandte Israel ab vom HERRN und machte, daß sie schwer sündigten.
22 And the children of Israel went on with all the sins which Jeroboam did; they did not keep themselves from them;
22 Les enfants d'Israël s'étaient livrés à tous les péchés que Jéroboam avait commis; ils ne s'en détournèrent point,
22 Rinne clann Iosrael aithris ar na peacaí go léir a rinne Iarobám, gan éirí astu,
22 Y los hijos de Israel anduvieron en todos los pecados de Jeroboam que él hizo, sin apartarse de ellos;
22 Also wandelten die Kinder Israel in allen Sünden Jerobeams, die er angerichtet hatte, und ließen nicht davon,
23 Till the Lord put Israel away from before his face, as he had said by all his servants the prophets. So Israel was taken away from their land to Assyria, to this day.
23 jusqu'à ce que l'Éternel eût chassé Israël loin de sa face, comme il l'avait annoncé par tous ses serviteurs les prophètes. Et Israël a été emmené captif loin de son pays en Assyrie, où il est resté jusqu'à ce jour.
23 nó gur chaith an Tiarna Iosrael as a radharc de réir mar a gheall sé trí bhéal a shearbhóntaí go léir, na fáithe. Mar sin atá Iosrael san Asaír ar díbirt óna dtír féin go dtí an lá inniu. Na Samáraigh
23 Hasta tanto que Jehová quitó á Israel de delante de su rostro, como lo había él dicho por mano de todos los profetas sus siervos: é Israel fué trasportado de su tierra á Asiria, hasta hoy.
23 bis der HERR Israel von seinem Angesicht tat, wie er geredet hatte durch alle seine Knechte, die Propheten. Also ward Israel aus seinem Lande weggeführt nach Assyrien bis auf diesen Tag.
24 Then the king of Assyria took men from Babylon and from Cuthah and Avva and Hamath and Sepharvaim, and put them in the towns of Samaria in place of the children of Israel; so they got Samaria for their heritage, living in its towns.
24 Le roi d'Assyrie fit venir des gens de Babylone, de Cutha, d'Avva, de Hamath et de Sepharvaïm, et les établit dans les villes de Samarie à la place des enfants d'Israël. Ils prirent possession de Samarie, et ils habitèrent dans ses villes.
24 Thug rí na hAsaíre daoine ón mBablóin, ó Chútá, ó Avá, ó Hamát, agus ó Shafarvaím, agus chuir sé iad chun cónaithe i gcathracha na Samáire in áit chlann Iosrael. Ghabh siadsan seilbh ar an tSamáir agus chuaigh chun cónaí ina cathracha.
24 Y trajo el rey de Asiria gente de Babilonia, y de Cutha, y de Ava, y de Hamath, y de Sepharvaim, y púsolos en las ciudades de Samaria, en lugar de los hijos de Israel; y poseyeron á Samaria, y habitaron en sus ciudades.
24 Der König aber von Assyrien ließ kommen Leute von Babel, von Kutha, von Avva, von Hamath und Sepharvaim und setzte sie in die Städte in Samaria anstatt der Kinder Israel. Und sie nahmen Samaria ein und wohnten in desselben Städten.
25 Now when first they were living there they did not give worship to the Lord. So the Lord sent lions among them, causing the death of some of them.
25 Lorsqu'ils commencèrent à y habiter, ils ne craignaient pas l'Éternel, et l'Éternel envoya contre eux des lions qui les tuaient.
25 Nuair a chuir siad fúthu ar dtús ann, níor thug siad ómós don Tiarna, agus dá bhrí sin sheol an Tiarna leoin ina measc agus mharaigh siadsan cuid acu.
25 Y aconteció al principio, cuando comenzaron á habitar allí, que no temiendo ellos á Jehová, envió Jehová contra ellos leones que los mataban.
25 Und da sie aber anhoben daselbst zu wohnen und den HERRN nicht fürchteten, sandte der HERR Löwen unter sie, die erwürgten sie.
26 So they said to the king of Assyria, The nations whom you have taken as prisoners and put in the towns of Samaria, have no knowledge of the way of the god of the land: so he has sent lions among them, causing their death, because they have no knowledge of his way.
26 On dit au roi d'Assyrie: Les nations que tu as transportées et établies dans les villes de Samarie ne connaissent pas la manière de servir le dieu du pays, et il a envoyé contre elles des lions qui les font mourir, parce qu'elles ne connaissent pas la manière de servir le dieu du pays.
26 Duradh ansin le rí na hAsaíre: “Na ciníocha a thug tú leat agus a chuir tú chun cónaí i gcathracha na Samáire, ní eol dóibh dlí Dhia na tíre, agus sheol seisean leoin ina gcoinne agus tá siadsan á marú mar nach eol dóibh dlí Dhia na tíre.”
26 Entonces dijeron ellos al rey de Asiria: Las gentes que tú traspasaste y pusiste en las ciudades de Samaria, no saben la costumbre del Dios de aquella tierra, y él ha echado leones en ellos, y he aquí los matan, porque no saben la costumbre del Dios de la tierra.
26 Und sie ließen dem König von Assyrien sagen: Die Heiden, die du hast hergebracht und die Städte Samarias damit besetzt, wissen nichts von der Weise Gottes im Lande; darum hat der HERR Löwen unter sie gesandt, und siehe, dieselben töten sie, weil sie nicht wissen um die Weise Gottes im Lande.
27 Then the king of Assyria gave orders, saying, Send there one of the priests whom you took away, and let him be living there and teaching the people the way of the god of the land.
27 Le roi d'Assyrie donna cet ordre: Faites-y aller l'un des prêtres que vous avez emmenés de là en captivité; qu'il parte pour s'y établir, et qu'il leur enseigne la manière de servir le dieu du pays.
27 Thug rí na hAsaíre ordú uaidh ansin: “Cuirigí ar ais ansiúd duine de na sagairt a dhíbir [mé] ón áit sin agus téadh sé chun cónaí ann, agus múineadh sé dóibh dlí Dhia na tíre.”
27 Y el rey de Asiria mandó, diciendo: Llevad allí á alguno de los sacerdote que trajisteis de allá, y vayan y habiten allí, y enséñenles la costumbre del Dios del país.
27 Der König von Assyrien gebot und sprach: Bringet dahin der Priester einen, die von dort sind weggeführt, und ziehet hin und wohnet daselbst, und er lehre sie die Weise Gottes im Lande.
28 So one of the priests whom they had taken away as a prisoner from Samaria came back, and, living in Beth-el, became their teacher in the worship of the Lord.
28 Un des prêtres qui avaient été emmenés captifs de Samarie vint s'établir à Béthel, et leur enseigna comment ils devaient craindre l'Éternel.

28 Y vino uno de los sacerdotes que habían trasportado de Samaria, y habitó en Beth-el, y enseñóles cómo habían de temer á Jehová.
28 Da kam der Priester einer, die von Samaria weggeführt waren, und wohnte zu Beth-El und lehrte sie, wie sie den HERRN fürchten sollten.
29 And every nation made gods for themselves, and put them in the houses of the high places which the Samaritans had made, every nation in the towns where they were living.
29 Mais les nations firent chacune leurs dieux dans les villes qu'elles habitaient, et les placèrent dans les maisons des hauts lieux bâties par les Samaritains.

29 Mas cada nación se hizo sus dioses, y pusiéronlos en los templos de los altos que habían hecho los de Samaria; cada nación en su ciudad donde habitaba.
29 Aber ein jegliches Volk machte seinen Gott und taten sie in die Häuser auf den Höhen, die die Samariter gemacht hatten, ein jegliches Volk in ihren Städten, darin sie wohnten.
30 The men of Babylon made Succoth-benoth, and the men of Cuth made Nergal, and the men of Hamath made Ashima,

30 Los de Babilonia hicieron á Succoth-benoth, y los de Cutha hicieron á Nergal, y los de Hamath hicieron á Asima;
30 Die von Babel machten Sukkoth-Benoth; die von Chut machten Nergal; die von Hamath machten Asima;
31 The Avvites made Nibhaz and Tartak, and the Sepharvites gave their children to be burned in the fire to Adrammelech and Anammelech, the gods of Sepharvaim.
31 ceux d'Avva firent Nibchaz et Tharthak; ceux de Sepharvaïm brûlaient leurs enfants par le feu en l'honneur d'Adrammélec et d'Anammélec, dieux de Sepharvaïm.

31 Los Heveos hicieron á Nibhaz y á Tharthac; y los de Sepharvaim quemaban sus hijos al fuego á Adra-melech y á Anamelech, dioses de Sepharvaim.
31 die von Avva machten Nibehas und Tharthak; die von Sepharvaim verbrannten ihre Söhne dem Adrammelech und Anammelech, den Göttern derer von Sepharvaim.
32 So they went on worshipping the Lord, and made for themselves, from among all the people, priests for the high places, to make offerings for them in the houses of the high places.
32 Ils craignaient aussi l'Éternel, et ils se créèrent des prêtres des hauts lieux pris parmi tout le peuple: ces prêtres offraient pour eux des sacrifices dans les maisons des hauts lieux.

32 Y temían á Jehová; é hicieron del pueblo bajo sacerdotes de los altos, quienes sacrificaban para ellos en los templos de los altos.
32 Und weil sie den HERRN auch fürchteten, machten sie sich Priester auf den Höhen aus allem Volk unter ihnen; die opferten für sie in den Häusern auf den Höhen.
33 They gave worship to the Lord, but they gave honour to their gods like the nations did from whom they had been taken as prisoners.
33 Ainsi ils craignaient l'Éternel, et ils servaient en même temps leurs dieux d'après la coutume des nations d'où on les avait transportés.

33 Temían á Jehová, y honraban á sus dioses, según la costumbre de las gentes de donde habían sido trasladados.
33 Also fürchteten sie den HERRN und dienten auch den Göttern nach eines jeglichen Volkes Weise, von wo sie hergebracht waren.
34 So to this day they go on in their old ways, not worshipping the Lord or keeping his orders or his ways or the law and the rule which the Lord gave to the children of Jacob, to whom he gave the name Israel;
34 Ils suivent encore aujourd'hui leurs premiers usages: ils ne craignent point l'Éternel, et ils ne se conforment ni à leurs lois et à leurs ordonnances, ni à la loi et aux commandements prescrits par l'Éternel aux enfants de Jacob qu'il appela du nom d'Israël.

34 Hasta hoy hacen como primero; que ni temen á Jehová, ni guardan sus estatutos, ni sus ordenanzas, ni hacen según la ley y los mandamientos que prescribió Jehová á los hijos de Jacob, al cual puso el nombre de Israel;
34 Und bis auf diesen Tag tun sie nach der alten Weise, daß sie weder den HERRN fürchten noch ihre Rechte und Sitten tun nach dem Gesetz und Gebot, das der HERR geboten hat den Kindern Jakobs, welchem er den Namen Israel gab.
35 And the Lord made an agreement with them and gave them orders, saying, You are to have no other gods; you are not to give worship to them or be their servants or make them offerings:
35 L'Éternel avait fait alliance avec eux, et leur avait donné cet ordre: Vous ne craindrez point d'autres dieux; vous ne vous prosternerez point devant eux, vous ne les servirez point, et vous ne leur offrirez point de sacrifices.

35 Con los cuales había Jehová hecho pacto, y les mandó, diciendo: No temeréis á otros dioses, ni los adoraréis, ni les serviréis, ni les sacrificaréis:
35 Und er machte einen Bund mit ihnen und gebot ihnen und sprach: Fürchtet keine andern Götter und betet sie nicht an und dienet ihnen nicht und opfert ihnen nicht;
36 But the Lord, who took you out of the land of Egypt with his great power and his outstretched arm, he is your God, to whom you are to give worship and make offerings:

36 sondern den HERRN, der euch aus Ägyptenland geführt hat mit großer Kraft und ausgerecktem Arm, den fürchtet, den betet an, und dem opfert;
37 And the rules and the orders and the law which he put in writing for you, you are to keep and do for ever; you are to have no other gods.
37 Vous observerez et mettrez toujours en pratique les préceptes, les ordonnances, la loi et les commandements, qu'il a écrits pour vous, et vous ne craindrez point d'autres dieux.
37 Leanaigí a reachtanna agus a ghnásanna, an dlí agus na haitheanta a scríobh sé daoibh, agus atá le comhlíonadh agaibh i gcónaí go beacht. Ná tugaigí ómós d'aon déithe eile,
37 Los estatutos y derechos y ley y mandamientos que os dió por escrito, cuidaréis siempre de ponerlos por obra, y no temeréis dioses ajenos.
37 und die Sitten, Rechte Gesetze und Gebote, die er euch hat aufschreiben lassen, die haltet, daß ihr darnach tut allewege und nicht andere Götter fürchtet;
38 And you are to keep in memory the agreement which I have made with you; and you are to have no other gods.
38 Vous n'oublierez pas l'alliance que j'ai faite avec vous, et vous ne craindrez point d'autres dieux.

38 Y no olvidaréis el pacto que hice con vosotros; ni temeréis dioses ajenos:
38 und des Bundes, den er mit euch gemacht hat, vergesset nicht daß ihr nicht andre Götter fürchtet;
39 And you are to give worship to the Lord your God; for it is he who will give you salvation from the hands of all who are against you.
39 Mais vous craindrez l'Éternel, votre Dieu; et il vous délivrera de la main de tous vos ennemis.

39 Mas temed á Jehová vuestro Dios, y él os librará de mano de todos vuestros enemigos.
39 sondern fürchtet den HERRN, euren Gott, der wird euch erretten von allen euren Feinden.
40 But they gave no attention, but went on in their old way.
40 Et ils n'ont point obéi, et ils ont suivi leurs premiers usages.
40 Ach níor thugadar cluas dó, ach a seanghnásanna a leanúint.
40 Empero ellos no escucharon; antes hicieron según su costumbre antigua.
40 Aber diese gehorchten nicht, sondern taten nach ihrer vorigen Weise.
41 So these nations, worshipping the Lord, still were servants to the images they had made; their children and their children's children did the same; as their fathers did, so do they, to this day.
41 Ces nations craignaient l'Éternel et servaient leurs images; et leurs enfants et les enfants de leurs enfants font jusqu'à ce jour ce que leurs pères ont fait.
