1 And the word of the Lord came to Jehu, son of Hanani, protesting against Baasha and saying,
1 La parole de l'Éternel fut ainsi adressée à Jéhu, fils de Hanani, contre Baescha:

1 Es kam aber das Wort des HERRN zu Jehu, dem Sohn Hananis, wider Baesa und sprach:
2 Because I took you up out of the dust, and made you ruler over my people Israel; and you have gone in the ways of Jeroboam, and made my people Israel do evil, moving me to wrath by their sins;
2 Je t'ai élevé de la poussière, et je t'ai établi chef de mon peuple d'Israël; mais parce que tu as marché dans la voie de Jéroboam, et que tu as fait pécher mon peuple d'Israël, pour m'irriter par leurs péchés,
2 “D'ardaigh mé as an deannach thú agus chuir mé thú mar cheannaire ar mo phobal Iosrael, ach lean tú sampla Iarobám agus threoraigh tú mo phobal Iosrael chun peacaí a dhéanamh a ghriogann mé chun feirge.
2 Pues que yo te levanté del polvo, y te puse por príncipe sobre mi pueblo Israel, y tú has andado en el camino de Jeroboam, y has hecho pecar á mi pueblo Israel, provocándome á ira con sus pecados;
2 Darum daß ich dich aus dem Staub erhoben habe und zum Fürsten gemacht habe über mein Volk Israel und du wandelst in dem Wege Jerobeams und machst mein Volk Israel sündigen, daß du mich erzürnst durch ihre Sünden,
3 Truly, I will see that Baasha and all his family are completely brushed away; I will make your family like the family of Jeroboam, the son of Nebat.
3 voici, je vais balayer Baescha et sa maison, et je rendrai ta maison semblable à la maison de Jéroboam, fils de Nebath.
3 Scuabfaidh mé Báiseá agus a theaghlach chun siúil, más ea; cuirfidh mé an chríoch chéanna ar do theaghlach agus a cuireadh ar theaghlach Iarobám mac Nabát.
3 He aquí yo barreré la posteridad de Baasa, y la posteridad de su casa: y pondré tu casa como la casa de Jeroboam hijo de Nabat.
3 siehe, so will ich die Nachkommen Baesas und die Nachkommen seines Hauses wegnehmen und will dein Haus machen wie das Haus Jerobeams, des Sohnes Nebats.
4 Anyone of the family of Baasha who comes to death in the town, will become food for the dogs; and he to whom death comes in the open country, will be food for the birds of the air.
4 Celui de la maison de Baescha qui mourra dans la ville sera mangé par les chiens, et celui des siens qui mourra dans les champs sera mangé par les oiseaux du ciel.
4 Aon daoine de mhuintir Bháiseá a gheobhaidh bás sa chathair, íosfaidh na madraí iad; aon daoine díobh a gheobhaidh bás faoin tuath, alpfaidh éanlaith an aeir iad.”
4 El que de Baasa fuere muerto en la ciudad, le comerán los perros; y el que de él fuere muerto en el campo, comerlo han las aves del cielo.
4 Wer von Baesa stirbt in der Stadt, den sollen die Hunde fressen; und wer von ihm stirbt auf dem Felde, den sollen die Vögel des Himmels fressen.
5 Now the rest of the acts of Baasha, and what he did, and his power, are they not recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Israel?
5 Le reste des actions de Baescha, ce qu'il a fait, et ses exploits, cela n'est-il pas écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois d'Israël?
5 An chuid eile de stair Bháiseá, a imeachtaí, agus a ghaisce, nach bhfuil sin uile scríofa i Leabhar Annála Ríthe Iosrael?
5 Lo demás de los hechos de Baasa, y las cosas que hizo, y su fortaleza, ¿no está todo escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Israel?
5 Was aber mehr von Baesa zu sagen ist und was er getan hat, und seine Macht, siehe, das ist geschrieben in der Chronik der Könige Israels.
6 And Baasha went to rest with his fathers, and was put into the earth at Tirzah; and Elah his son became king in his place.
6 Baescha se coucha avec ses pères, et il fut enterré à Thirtsa. Et Éla, son fils, régna à sa place.
6 Ansin chuaigh Báiseá chun suain lena shinsir agus adhlacadh é i dTirzeá, agus tháinig a mhac Éala i gcomharbacht air mar rí.
6 Y durmió Baasa con sus padres, y fué sepultado en Thirsa; y reinó en su lugar Ela su hijo.
6 Und Baesa entschlief mit seinen Vätern und ward begraben zu Thirza. Und sein Sohn Ela ward König an seiner Statt.
7 And the Lord sent his word against Baasha and his family by the mouth of the prophet Jehu, the son of Hanani, because of all the evil he did in the eyes of the Lord, moving him to wrath by the work of his hands, because he was like the family of Jeroboam, and because he put it to death.
7 La parole de l'Éternel s'était manifestée par le prophète Jéhu, fils de Hanani, contre Baescha et contre sa maison, soit à cause de tout le mal qu'il avait fait sous les yeux de l'Éternel, en l'irritant par l'oeuvre de ses mains et en devenant semblable à la maison de Jéroboam, soit parce qu'il avait frappé la maison de Jéroboam.
7 Ina theannta sin, trí bhéal an fháidh Iéahú mac Hanáiní, fógraíodh briathar an Tiarna in aghaidh Bháiseá agus a theaghlach sa chéad áit de bharr a ndearna sé d'olc i láthair an Tiarna, á ghriogadh chun feirge lena ghníomhartha, agus ag teacht ar aon dul le teaghlach Iarobám; agus sa dara háit de bhrí gur scrios sé an teaghlach sin.
7 Empero la palabra de Jehová por mano de Jehú profeta, hijo de Hanani, había sido contra Baasa y también contra su casa, con motivo de todo lo malo que hizo á los ojos de Jehová, provocándole á ira con las obras de sus manos, para que fuese hecha como la casa de Jeroboam; y porque lo había herido.
7 Auch kam das Wort des HERRN durch den Propheten Jehu, den Sohn Hananis, über Baesa und über sein Haus und wider alles Übel, das er tat vor dem HERRN, ihn zu erzürnen durch die Werke seiner Hände, daß es würde wie das Haus Jerobeam, und darum daß er dieses geschlagen hatte.
8 In the twenty-sixth year that Asa was king of Judah, Elah, the son of Baasha, became king of Israel in Tirzah, and he was king for two years.
8 La vingt-sixième année d'Asa, roi de Juda, Éla, fils de Baescha, régna sur Israël à Thirtsa. Il régna deux ans.
8 Sa séú bliain fichead de réimeas Ásá rí Iúdá, tháinig Éala mac Bháiseá i gcoróin ar Iosrael ag Tirzeá agus mhair a réimeas dhá bhliain.
8 En el año veintiséis de Asa rey de Judá, comenzó á reinar Ela hijo de Baasa sobre Israel en Thirsa; y reinó dos años.
8 Im sechundzwanzigsten Jahr Asas, des Königs Juda's, ward Ela, der Sohn Baesas, König über Israel zu Thirza zwei Jahre.
9 And his servant Zimri, captain of half his war-carriages, made secret designs against him: now he was in Tirzah, drinking hard in the house of Arza, controller of the king's house in Tirzah.
9 Son serviteur Zimri, chef de la moitié des chars, conspira contre lui. Éla était à Thirtsa, buvant et s'enivrant dans la maison d'Artsa, chef de la maison du roi à Thirtsa.

9 E hizo conjuración contra él su siervo Zimri, comandante de la mitad de los carros. Y estando él en Thirsa, bebiendo y embriagado en casa de Arsa su mayordomo en Thirsa,
9 Aber sein Knecht Simri, der Oberste über die Hälfte der Wagen, machte einen Bund wider ihn. Er war aber zu Thirza, trank und war trunken im Hause Arzas, des Vogts zu Thirza.
10 And Zimri went in and made an attack on him and put him to death, in the twenty-seventh year that Asa was king of Judah, and made himself king in his place.
10 Zimri entra, le frappa et le tua, la vingt-septième année d'Asa, roi de Juda, et il régna à sa place.

10 Vino Zimri, y lo hirió y mató, en el año veintisiete de Asa rey de Judá; y reinó en lugar suyo.
10 Und Simri kam hinein und schlug ihn tot im siebenundzwanzigsten Jahr Asas, des Königs Juda's, und ward König an seiner Statt.
11 And straight away when he became king and took his place on the seat of the kingdom, he put to death all the family of Baasha: not one male child of his relations or his friends kept his life.
11 Lorsqu'il fut roi et qu'il fut assis sur son trône, il frappa toute la maison de Baescha, il ne laissa échapper personne qui lui appartînt, ni parent ni ami.
11 Nuair a tháinig sé i réim, a luaithe a shuigh sé sa ríchathaoir, bhásaigh sé teaghlach Bháiseá go léir, níor fhág sé fear dá ghaolta ná dá chairde beo.
11 Y luego que llegó á reinar y estuvo sentado en su trono, hirió toda la casa de Baasa, sin dejar en ella meante á la pared, ni sus parientes ni amigos.
11 Und da er König war und auf seinem Stuhl saß, schlug er das ganze Haus Baesas, und ließ nichts übrig, was männlich war, dazu seine Erben und seine Freunde.
12 So Zimri put to death all the family of Baasha, so that the word which the Lord said against him by the mouth of Jehu the prophet came about;
12 Zimri détruisit toute la maison de Baescha, selon la parole que l'Éternel avait dite contre Baescha par Jéhu, le prophète,
12 Scrios Zimrí teaghlach Bháiseá go léir de réir bhriathar an Tiarna a labhair sé ó bheal an fháidh Iéahú,
12 Así rayó Zimri toda la casa de Baasa, conforme á la palabra de Jehová, que había proferido contra Baasa por medio del profeta Jehú;
12 Also vertilgte Simri das ganze Haus Baesa nach dem Wort des Herrn, das er über Baesa geredet hatte durch den Propheten Jehu,
13 Because of all the sins of Baasha, and the sins of Elah his son, which they did and made Israel do, moving the Lord, the God of Israel, to wrath by their foolish acts.
13 à cause de tous les péchés que Baescha et Éla, son fils, avaient commis et qu'ils avaient fait commettre à Israël, irritant par leurs idoles l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël.
13 de bharr peacaí Bháiseá go léir, agus peacaí Éalá, a mhac, a pheacaíodar, agus na bpeacaí inar threoraigh siad Iosrael, agus iad ag griogadh an Tiarna, Dia Iosrael, chun feirge lena n‑íola baotha.
13 Por todos los pecados de Baasa, y los pecados de Ela su hijo, con que ellos pecaron é hicieron pecar á Israel, provocando á enojo á Jehová Dios de Israel con sus vanidades.
13 um aller Sünden willen Baesas und seines Sohnes Ela, die sie taten und durch die sie Israel sündigen machten, den HERRN, den Gott Israels, zu erzürnen durch ihr Abgötterei.
14 Now the rest of the acts of Elah, and all he did, are they not recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Israel?
14 Le reste des actions d'Éla, et tout ce qu'il a fait, cela n'est-il pas écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois d'Israël?
14 An chuid eile de stair Éalá, agus a imeachtaí go léir, nach bhfuil sin uile scríofa i Leabhar Annála Ríthe Iosrael?

15 In the twenty-seventh year of Asa, king of Judah, Zimri was king for seven days in Tirzah. Now the people were attacking Gibbethon in the land of the Philistines.
15 La vingt-septième année d'Asa, roi de Juda, Zimri régna sept jours à Thirtsa. Le peuple campait contre Guibbethon, qui appartenait aux Philistins.
15 Sa seachtú bliain fichead de réimeas Ásá rí Iúdá, tháinig Zimrí i gcoróin ar Iosrael i dTirzeá, ar feadh seacht lá. Bhí an pobal i longfort os comhair Ghibeatón, cathair leis na Filistínigh.
15 En el año veintisiete de Asa rey de Judá, comenzó á reinar Zimri, y reinó siete días en Thirsa; y el pueblo había asentado campo sobre Gibbethón, ciudad de los Filisteos.
15 Im siebenundzwanzigsten Jahr Asas, des Königs Juda's, ward Simri König sieben Tage zu Thirza. Und das Volk lag vor Gibbethon der Philister.
16 And news came to the people in the tents that Zimri had made a secret design and had put the king to death: so all Israel made Omri, the captain of the army, king that day in the tents.
16 Et le peuple qui campait apprit cette nouvelle: Zimri a conspiré, et même il a tué le roi! Et ce jour-là, tout Israël établit dans le camp pour roi d'Israël Omri, chef de l'armée.
16 Nuair a fuarthas an scéala sa longfort: “Rinne Zimrí comhcheilg in aghaidh an rí agus mharaigh sé an rí chomh maith” d'fhógair Iosrael go léir Omraí a gceann feadhna ina rí ar Iosrael an lá céanna sa longfort.
16 Y el pueblo que estaba en el campo oyó decir: Zimri ha hecho conjuración, y ha muerto al rey. Entonces todo Israel levantó el mismo día por rey sobre Israel á Omri, general del ejército, en el campo.
16 Da aber das Volk im Lager hörte sagen, daß Simri einen Bund gemacht und auch den König erschlagen hätte, da machte das ganze Israel desselben Tages Omri, den Feldhauptmann, zum König über Israel im Lager.
17 Then Omri went up from Gibbethon, with all the army of Israel, and they made an attack on Tirzah, shutting in the town on every side.
17 Omri et tout Israël avec lui partirent de Guibbethon, et ils assiégèrent Thirtsa.
17 Scoir Omraí, agus Iosrael go léir mar aon leis, den léigear ar Ghibeatón, agus chuireadar léigear ar Thirzeá.
17 Y subió Omri de Gibbethón, y con él todo Israel, y cercaron á Thirsa.
17 Und Omri zog herauf und das ganze Israel mit ihm von Gibbethon und belagerten Thirza.
18 And when Zimri saw that the town was taken, he went into the inner room of the king's house, and burning the house over his head, came to his end,
18 Zimri, voyant que la ville était prise, se retira dans le palais de la maison du roi, et brûla sur lui la maison du roi.

18 Mas viendo Zimri tomada la ciudad, metióse en el palacio de la casa real, y pegó fuego á la casa consigo: así murió.
18 Da aber Simri sah, daß die Stadt würde gewonnen werden, ging er in den Palast im Hause des Königs und verbrannte sich mit dem Hause des Königs und starb
19 Because of his sin in doing evil in the eyes of the Lord, in going in the way of Jeroboam and in his sin which he made Israel do.
19 C'est ainsi qu'il mourut, à cause des péchés qu'il avait commis en faisant ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel, en marchant dans la voie de Jéroboam, et en se livrant aux péchés que Jéroboam avait commis pour faire pécher Israël.
19 de bharr na bpeacaí a rinne sé ag déanamh an oilc i láthair an Tiarna, ag déanamh aithris ar Iarobám, agus an pheaca inar threoraigh sé Iosrael.
19 Por sus pecados que él había cometido, haciendo lo malo á los ojos de Jehová, y andando en los caminos de Jeroboam, y en su pecado que cometió, haciendo pecar á Israel.
19 um seiner Sünden willen, die er getan hatte, daß er tat, was dem HERRN übel gefiel, und wandelte in dem Wege Jerobeams und seiner Sünde, die er tat, daß er Israel sündigen machte.
20 Now the rest of the acts of Zimri, and the secret design he made, are they not recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Israel?
20 Le reste des actions de Zimri, et la conspiration qu'il forma, cela n'est-il pas écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois d'Israël?

21 Then there was a division among the people of Israel; half the people were for making Tibni, son of Ginath, king, and half were supporting Omri.
21 Alors le peuple d'Israël se divisa en deux partis: une moitié du peuple voulait faire roi Thibni, fils de Guinath, et l'autre moitié était pour Omri.
21 Rinneadh dhá pháirtí de mhuintir Iosrael ansin; lean leath an phobail Tibní mac Ghíonat le rí a dhéanamh de, agus an leath eile Omraí.
21 Entonces el pueblo de Israel fué dividido en dos partes: la mitad del pueblo seguía á Thibni hijo de Gineth, para hacerlo rey: y la otra mitad seguía á Omri.
21 Dazumal teilte sich das Volk Israel in zwei Teile. Eine Hälfte hing an Thibni, dem Sohn Ginaths, daß sie ihn zum König machten; die andere Hälfte aber hing an Omri.
22 But the supporters of Omri overcame those who were on the side of Tibni, the son of Ginath; and death came to Tibni and to his brother Joram at that time: and Omri became king in the place of Tibni.
22 Ceux qui suivaient Omri l'emportèrent sur ceux qui suivaient Thibni, fils de Guinath. Thibni mourut, et Omri régna.

22 Mas el pueblo que seguía á Omri, pudo más que el que seguía á Thibni hijo de Gineth; y Thibni murió, y Omri fué rey.
22 Aber das Volk, das an Omri hing, ward stärker denn das Volk, das an Thibni hing, dem Sohn Ginaths. Und Thibni starb; da ward Omri König.
23 In the thirty-first year of Asa, king of Judah, Omri became king over Israel, and he was king for twelve years; for six years he was ruling in Tirzah.
23 La trente et unième année d'Asa, roi de Juda, Omri régna sur Israël. Il régna douze ans. Après avoir régné six ans à Thirtsa,
23 San aonú bliain tríochad de réimeas Ásá rí Iúdá, tháinig Omraí i gcoróin ar Iosrael agus bhí sé i réim ar feadh dhá bhliain déag. Bhí sé sé bliana i réim i dTirzeá.
23 En el año treinta y uno de Asa rey de Judá, comenzó á reinar Omri sobre Israel, y reinó doce años: en Thirsa reinó seis años.

24 He got the hill Samaria from Shemer for the price of two talents of silver, and he made a town there, building it on the hill and naming it Samaria, after Shemer the owner of the hill.
24 il acheta de Schémer la montagne de Samarie pour deux talents d'argent; il bâtit sur la montagne, et il donna à la ville qu'il bâtit le nom de Samarie, d'après le nom de Schémer, seigneur de la montagne.
24 Ansin cheannaigh sé sliabh [na Samáire] ó Sheimir ar dhá thallann airgid agus thóg sé cathair air agus thug sé an tSamáir uirthi ó Sheimir, an té ar leis an sliabh.
24 Y compró él de Semer el monte de Samaria por dos talentos de plata, y edificó en el monte: y llamó el nombre de la ciudad que edificó, Samaria, del nombre de Semer, señor que fué de aquel monte.
24 Er kaufte den Berg Samaria von Semer um zwei Zentner Silber und baute auf den Berg und hieß die Stadt, die er baute, nach dem Namen Semers, des Berges Herr, Samaria.
25 And Omri did evil in the eyes of the Lord, even worse than all those before him,
25 Omri fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel, et il agit plus mal que tous ceux qui avaient été avant lui.
25 Rinne Omraí an t‑olc i bhfianaise an Tiarna, agus sháraigh sé ar ghabh roimhe go léir lena dhrochbhearta.
25 Y Omri hizo lo malo á los ojos de Jehová, é hizo peor que todos los que habían sido antes de él:
25 Und Omri tat, was dem HERRN übel gefiel und war ärger denn alle, die vor ihm gewesen waren,
26 Copying all the evil ways of Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, and all the sins he did and made Israel do, moving the Lord, the God of Israel, to wrath by their foolish ways.
26 Il marcha dans toute la voie de Jéroboam, fils de Nebath, et se livra aux péchés que Jéroboam avait fait commettre à Israël, irritant par leurs idoles l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël.
26 Rinne sé aithris chruinn ar Iarobám mac Nabát agus ar na peacaí inar threoraigh sé Iosrael, ag griogadh an Tiarna, Dia Iosrael, chun feirge lena n‑íola baotha.
26 Pues anduvo en todos los caminos de Jeroboam hijo de Nabat, y en su pecado con que hizo pecar á Israel, provocando á ira á Jehová Dios de Israel con sus ídolos.
26 und wandelte in allen Wegen Jerobeams, des Sohnes Nebats, und in seinen Sünden, durch die er Israel sündigen machte, daß sie den HERRN, den Gott Israels, erzürnten in ihrer Abgötterei.
27 Now the rest of the acts which Omri did, and his great power, are they not recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Israel?

29 In the thirty-eighth year that Asa was king of Judah, Ahab, the son of Omri, became king over Israel; and Ahab was king in Samaria for twenty-two years.
29 Achab, fils d'Omri, régna sur Israël, la trente-huitième année d'Asa, roi de Juda. Achab, fils d'Omri, régna vingt-deux ans sur Israël à Samarie.
29 Tháinig Acháb mac Omraí i gcoróin ar Iosrael san ochtú bliain tríochad de réimeas Ásá rí Iúdá, agus bhí sé ina rí ar Iosrael sa tSamáir ar feadh dhá bhliain agus fiche.
29 Y comenzó á reinar Achâb hijo de Omri sobre Israel el año treinta y ocho de Asa rey de Judá.
29 Im achunddreißigsten Jahr Asas, des Königs Juda's, ward Ahab, der Sohn Omris, König über Israel, und regierte über Israel zu Samaria zweiundzwanzig Jahre
