1 And Rehoboam went to Shechem, where all Israel had come together to make him king,
1 Roboam se rendit à Sichem, car tout Israël était venu à Sichem pour le faire roi.

1 Y Fué Roboam á Sichêm; porque todo Israel había venido á Sichêm para hacerlo rey.
1 Und Rehabeam zog gen Sichem; denn das ganze Israel war gen Sichem gekommen, ihn zum König zu machen.
2 And, hearing of it, Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, who was still in Egypt, where he had gone in flight from Solomon, and was living there, came back to his town Zeredah, in the hill-country of Ephraim;
2 Lorsque Jéroboam, fils de Nebath, eut des nouvelles, il était encore en Égypte, où il s'était enfui loin du roi Salomon, et c'était en Égypte qu'il demeurait.
2 Chuaigh Rachabám go Seicim mar go raibh Iosrael go léir imithe go Seicim chun é a fhógairt ina rí,
2 Y aconteció, que como lo oyó Jeroboam hijo de Nabat, que estaba en Egipto, porque había huído de delante del rey Salomón, y habitaba en Egipto;
2 Und Jerobeam, der Sohn Nebats, hörte das, da er noch in Ägypten war, dahin er vor dem König Salomo geflohen war, und blieb in Ägypten.
3 And all the men of Israel came to Rehoboam and said,
3 On l'envoya appeler. Alors Jéroboam et toute l'assemblée d'Israël vinrent à Roboam et lui parlèrent ainsi:
3 [agus chuir siad fios ar Iarobám agus tháinig sé féin agus comhthionól Iosrael go léir] agus dúradar le Rachabám:
3 Enviaron y llamáronle. Vino pues Jeroboam y toda la congregación de Israel, y hablaron á Roboam, diciendo:
3 Und sie sandten hin und ließen ihn rufen. Und Jerobeam samt der ganzen Gemeinde Israel kamen und redeten mit Rehabeam und sprachen:
4 Your father put a hard yoke on us: if you will make the conditions under which your father kept us down less cruel, and the weight of the yoke he put on us less hard, then we will be your servants.
4 Ton père a rendu notre joug dur; toi maintenant, allège cette rude servitude et le joug pesant que nous a imposé ton père. Et nous te servirons.
4 “Chuir d'athair ualach trom orainn le hiompar; bog daoirse dhian d'athar, agus a chuing throm orainn agus déanfaimid seirbhís duit.”
4 Tu padre agravó nuestro yugo, mas ahora tú disminuye algo de la dura servidumbre de tu padre, y del yugo pesado que puso sobre nosotros, y te serviremos.
4 Dein Vater hat unser Joch zu hart gemacht; so mache du nun den harten Dienst und das schwere Joch leichter, das er uns aufgelegt hat, so wollen wir dir untertänig sein.
5 And he said to them, Go away for three days and then come back to me again. So the people went away.
5 Il leur dit: Allez, et revenez vers moi dans trois jours. Et le peuple s'en alla.
5 Dúirt sé leo: “Imígí libh ar feadh trí lá, agus ansin tagaigí ar ais chugam.” Agus d'imigh na daoine leo.
5 Y él les dijo: Idos, y de aquí á tres días volved á mí. Y el pueblo se fué.
5 Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Gehet hin bis an den dritten Tag, dann kommt wieder zu mir. Und das Volk ging hin.
6 Then King Rehoboam took the opinion of the old men who had been with Solomon his father when he was living, and said, In your opinion, what answer am I to give to this people?
6 Le roi Roboam consulta les vieillards qui avaient été auprès de Salomon, son père, pendant sa vie, et il dit: Que conseillez-vous de répondre à ce peuple?
6 Ansin chuaigh Rachabám rí i gcomhairle leis na seanóirí a bhí ag déanamh seirbhíse dá athair Solamh fad a mhair sé. “Cén freagra,” ar sé, “ar chóir dom dar libh a thabhairt don mhuintir seo?”
6 Entonces el rey Roboam tomó consejo con los ancianos que habían estado delante de Salomón su padre cuando vivía, y dijo: ¿Cómo aconsejáis vosotros que responda á este pueblo?
6 Und der König Rehabeam hielt einen Rat mit den Ältesten, die vor seinem Vater Salomo standen, da er lebte, und sprach: Wie ratet ihr, daß wir diesem Volk eine Antwort geben?
7 And they said to him, If you will be a servant to this people today, caring for them and giving them a gentle answer, then they will be your servants for ever.
7 Et voici ce qu'ils lui dirent: Si aujourd'hui tu rends service à ce peuple, si tu leur cèdes, et si tu leur réponds par des paroles bienveillantes, ils seront pour toujours tes serviteurs.
7 Dúirt siad leis: “Déan freastal ar an bpobal seo inniu, agus bí mar a bheadh seirbhíseach acu, labhair go lách leo, agus beidh siad mar sheirbhísigh agat go deo.”
7 Y ellos le hablaron, diciendo: Si tú fueres hoy siervo de este pueblo, y lo sirvieres, y respondiéndole buenas palabras les hablares, ellos te servirán para siempre.
7 Sie sprachen zu ihm: Wirst du heute diesem Volk einen Dienst tun und ihnen zu Willen sein und sie erhören und ihnen gute Worte geben, so werden sie dir untertänig sein dein Leben lang.
8 But he gave no attention to the opinion of the old men, and went to the young men of his generation who were waiting before him:
8 Mais Roboam laissa le conseil que lui donnaient les vieillards, et il consulta les jeunes gens qui avaient grandi avec lui et qui l'entouraient.
8 Ach dhiúltaigh sé don chomhairle a thug na seanóirí dó agus chuaigh sé i gcomhairle leis na hógánaigh a d'fhás suas leis féin agus a bhí ina sheirbhís.
8 Mas él, dejado el consejo de los viejos que ellos le habían dado, tomó consejo con los mancebos que se habían criado con él, y estaban delante de él.
8 Aber er ließ außer acht der Ältesten Rat, den sie ihm gegeben hatten, und hielt einen Rat mit den Jungen, die mit ihm aufgewachsen waren und vor ihm standen.
9 And said to them, What is your opinion? What answer are we to give to this people who have said to me, Make less the weight of the yoke which your father put on us?
9 Il leur dit: Que conseillez-vous de répondre à ce peuple qui me tient ce langage: Allège le joug que nous a imposé ton père?
9 “Cén freagra a chomhairlíonn sibh dúinn a thabhairt don mhuintir seo a dúirt liom: ‘Bog dínn an chuing a leag d'athair orainn’?” ar sé leo.
9 Y díjoles: ¿Cómo aconsejáis vosotros que respondamos á este pueblo, que me ha hablado, diciendo: Disminuye algo del yugo que tu padre puso sobre nosotros?
9 Und er sprach zu Ihnen: Was ratet ihr, daß wir antworten diesem Volk, die zu mir gesagt haben: Mache das Joch leichter, das dein Vater auf uns gelegt hat?
10 And the young men of his generation said to him, This is the answer to give to the people who came to you saying, Your father put a hard yoke on us; will you make it less? say to them, My little finger is thicker than my father's body;
10 Et voici ce que lui dirent les jeunes gens qui avaient grandi avec lui: Tu parleras ainsi à ce peuple qui t'a tenu ce langage: Ton père a rendu notre joug pesant, et toi, allège-le-nous! tu leur parleras ainsi: Mon petit doigt est plus gros que les reins de mon père.
10 Agus d'fhreagair an dream óg a d'fhás suas leis: “Tabhair an freagra seo don mhuintir úd a dúirt: ‘Chuir d'athair ualach trom orainn le hiompar, ach déan é a éadromú duinn’ - abair é seo leo: ‘Is raimhre mo lúidín ná coim m'athar.
10 Entonces los mancebos que se habían criado con él, le respondieron, diciendo: Así hablarás á este pueblo que te ha dicho estas palabras: Tu padre agravó nuestro yugo; mas tú disminúyenos algo: así les hablarás: El menor dedo de los míos es más grueso que los lomos de mi padre.
10 Und die Jungen, die mit ihm aufgewachsen waren, sprachen zu ihm: Du sollst zu dem Volk, das zu dir sagt: "Dein Vater hat unser Joch zu schwer gemacht; mache du es uns leichter", also sagen: Mein kleinster Finger soll dicker sein denn meines Vaters Lenden.
11 If my father put a hard yoke on you, I will make it harder: my father gave you punishment with whips, but I will give you blows with snakes.
11 Maintenant, mon père vous a chargés d'un joug pesant, et moi je vous le rendrai plus pesant; mon père vous a châtiés avec des fouets, et moi je vous châtierai avec des scorpions.
11 Leag m'athair ualach trom oraibh Cuirfidh mise, más ea, breis ualaigh oraibh. Bhuail m'athair sibh le lasca; buailfidh mise sibh le scairpeanna.’ ”
11 Ahora pues, mi padre os cargó de pesado yugo, mas yo añadiré á vuestro yugo; mi padre os hirió con azotes, mas yo os heriré con escorpiones.
11 Nun, mein Vater hat auf euch ein schweres Joch geladen; ich aber will des noch mehr über euch machen: Mein Vater hat euch mit Peitschen gezüchtigt; ich will euch mit Skorpionen züchtigen.
12 So all the people came to Rehoboam on the third day, as the king had given orders, saying, Come back to me the third day.
12 Jéroboam et tout le peuple vinrent à Roboam le troisième jour, suivant ce qu'avait dit le roi: Revenez vers moi dans trois jours.
12 An tríú lá tháinig [Iarobám agus] an pobal go léir go Rachabám, faoi mar a d'ordaigh an rí á rá: “Tagaigí chugam arís an treas lá.”
12 Y al tercer día vino Jeroboam con todo el pueblo á Roboam; según el rey lo había mandado, diciendo: Volved á mí al tercer día.
12 Also kam Jerobeam samt dem ganzen Volk zu Rehabeam am dritten Tage, wie der König gesagt hatte und gesprochen: Kommt wieder zu mir am dritten Tage.
13 And the king gave them a rough answer, giving no attention to the suggestion of the old men;
13 Le roi répondit durement au peuple. Il laissa le conseil que lui avaient donné les vieillards,
13 Níor thug an rí aon aird ar an gcomhairle a thug na seanóirí dó, ach thug freagra garbh ar an bpobal,
13 Y el rey respondió al pueblo duramente, dejado el consejo de los ancianos que ellos le habían dado;
13 Und der König gab dem Volk eine harte Antwort und ließ außer acht den Rat, den ihm die Ältesten gegeben hatten,
14 But giving them the answer put forward by the young men, saying, My father made your yoke hard, but I will make it harder; my father gave you punishment with whips, but I will give it with snakes.
14 et il leur parla ainsi d'après le conseil des jeunes gens: Mon père a rendu votre joug pesant, et moi je vous le rendrai plus pesant; mon père vous a châtiés avec des fouets, et moi je vous châtierai avec des scorpions.
14 agus labhair leo de réir chomhairle na n‑ógfhear agus dúirt: “Leag m'athair ualach trom oraibh. Cuirfidh mise, más ea, breis ualaigh oraibh. Bhuail m'athair sibh le lasca; buailfidh mise sibh le scairpeanna.”
14 Y hablóles conforme al consejo de los mancebos, diciendo: Mi padre agravó vuestro yugo, pero yo añadiré á vuestro yugo; mi padre os hirió con azotes, mas yo os heriré con escorpiones.
14 und redete mit ihnen nach dem Rat der Jungen und sprach: Mein Vater hat euer Joch schwer gemacht; ich aber will des noch mehr über euch machen: Mein Vater hat euch mit Peitschen gezüchtigt; ich aber will euch mit Skorpionen züchtigen.
15 So the king did not give ear to the people; and this came about by the purpose of the Lord, so that what he had said by Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam, son of Nebat, might be effected.
15 Ainsi le roi n'écouta point le peuple; car cela fut dirigé par l'Éternel, en vue de l'accomplissement de la parole que l'Éternel avait dite par Achija de Silo à Jéroboam, fils de Nebath.
15 Níor éist an rí dá réir sin leis an bpobal, agus bhí sin curtha i gcrích ag an Tiarna ionas go gcomhlíonfadh sé an gealltanas a thug sé ó bhéal Aichíá ó Shileo do Iarobám mac Nabát.
15 Y no oyó el rey al pueblo; porque era ordenación de Jehová, para confirmar su palabra, que Jehová había hablado por medio de Ahías Silonita á Jeroboam hijo de Nabat.
15 Also gehorchte der König dem Volk nicht; denn es war also abgewandt von dem HERRN, auf daß er sein Wort bekräftigte, das er durch Ahia von Silo geredet hatte zu Jerobeam, dem Sohn Nebats.
16 And when all Israel saw that the king would give no attention to them, the people in answer said to the king, What part have we in David? what is our heritage in the son of Jesse? to your tents, O Israel; now see to your people, David. So Israel went away to their tents.
16 Lorsque tout Israël vit que le roi ne l'écoutait pas, le peuple répondit au roi: Quelle part avons-nous avec David? Nous n'avons point d'héritage avec le fils d'Isaï! A tes tentes, Israël! Maintenant, pourvois à ta maison, David! Et Israël s'en alla dans ses tentes.
16 Nuair a chonaic Iosrael go léir nach raibh aon aird á tabhairt ag an rí orthu, d'fhreagair an pobal an rí: “Cén chuid atá againn i nDáiví? Níl aon oidhreacht againn i mac Ieise. Chun bhur mbothanna libh, a Iosrael! Tabhair aire do do theach féin feasta, a Dháiví!” Agus d'imigh Iosrael leo chun a mbothanna.
16 Y cuando todo el pueblo vió que el rey no les había oído, respondióle estas palabras, diciendo: ¿Qué parte tenemos nosotros con David? No tenemos heredad en el hijo de Isaí. ¡Israel, á tus estancias! ¡Provee ahora en tu casa, David! Entonces Israel se fué á sus estancias.
16 Da aber das ganze Israel sah, daß der König nicht auf sie hören wollte, gab das Volk dem König eine Antwort und sprach: Was haben wir für Teil an David oder Erbe am Sohn Isais? Israel, hebe dich zu deinen Hütten! So, siehe nun du zu deinem Hause, David! Also ging Israel in seine Hütten,
17 (But Rehoboam was still king over those of the children of Israel who were living in the towns of Judah.)
17 Les enfants d'Israël qui habitaient les villes de Juda furent les seuls sur qui régna Roboam.
17 Ach bhí Rachabám ina rí ar chlann mhac Iosrael a bhí ina gcónaí i gcathracha Iúdá.
17 Mas reinó Roboam sobre los hijos de Israel que moraban en las ciudades de Judá.
17 daß Rehabeam regierte nur über die Kinder Israel, die in den Städten Juda's wohnten.
18 Then King Rehoboam sent Adoniram, the overseer of the forced work; and he was stoned to death by all Israel. And King Rehoboam went quickly and got into his carriage to go in flight to Jerusalem.
18 Alors le roi Roboam envoya Adoram, qui était préposé aux impôts. Mais Adoram fut lapidé par tout Israël, et il mourut. Et le roi Roboam se hâta de monter sur un char, pour s'enfuir à Jérusalem.
18 Ansin chuir Rachabám rí uaidh Adorám a bhí i bhfeighil lucht an tsaothair éigeantaigh, ach chuir na hIosraelaigh go léir chun báis de chlocha é; ansin bhrostaigh Rachabám agus phreab ina charbad agus theith go Iarúsailéim.
18 Y el rey Roboam envió á Adoram, que estaba sobre los tributos; pero apedreóle todo Israel, y murió. Entonces el rey Roboam se esforzó á subir en un carro, y huir á Jerusalem.
18 Und da der König Rehabeam hinsandte Adoram, den Rentmeister, warf ihn ganz Israel mit Steinen zu Tode. Aber der König Rehabeam stieg stracks auf einen Wagen, daß er flöhe gen Jerusalem.
19 So Israel was turned away from the family of David to this day.
19 C'est ainsi qu'Israël s'est détaché de la maison de David jusqu'à ce jour.
19 Agus ar an gcuma sin tá Iosrael scartha ó theaghlach Dháiví go dtí an lá inniu féin. Deighilt
19 Así se apartó Israel de la casa de David hasta hoy.
19 Also fiel Israel ab vom Hause David bis auf diesen Tag.
20 Now when all Israel had news that Jeroboam had come back, they sent for him to come before the meeting of the people, and made him king over Israel: not one of them was joined to the family of David but only the tribe of Judah.
20 Tout Israël ayant appris que Jéroboam était de retour, ils l'envoyèrent appeler dans l'assemblée, et ils le firent roi sur tout Israël. La tribu de Juda fut la seule qui suivit la maison de David.
20 Nuair a chuala Iosrael go léir go raibh Iarobám ar ais, ghlaodar air chun an chomhthionóil agus rinneadar rí de ar Iosrael go léir. Níor fhan aon duine dílis do theaghlach Dháiví ach treibh Iúdá amháin.
20 Y aconteció, que oyendo todo Israel que Jeroboam había vuelto, enviaron y llamáronle á la congregación, é hiciéronle rey sobre todo Israel, sin quedar tribu alguna que siguiese la casa de David, sino sólo la tribu de Judá.
20 Da nun ganz Israel hörte, daß Jerobeam war wiedergekommen, sandten sie hin und ließen ihn rufen zu der ganzen Gemeinde und machten ihn zum König über das ganze Israel. Und folgte niemand dem Hause David als der Stamm Juda allein.
21 When Rehoboam came to Jerusalem, he got together all the men of Judah and the tribe of Benjamin, a hundred and eighty thousand of his best fighting-men, to make war against Israel and get the kingdom back for Rehoboam, the son of Solomon.
21 Roboam, arrivé à Jérusalem, rassembla toute la maison de Juda et la tribu de Benjamin, cent quatre-vingt mille hommes d'élite propres à la guerre, pour qu'ils combattissent contre la maison d'Israël afin de la ramener sous la domination de Roboam, fils de Salomon.
21 Ghabh Rachabám suas go Iarúsailéim agus chuir sé tionól ar theaghlach Iúdá go léir, agus ar threibh Bhiniáimin, céad agus ochtó míle de thogha na ngaiscíoch, ionas go gcuirfí cath ar theaghlach Iosrael agus go mbuafaí an ríocht ar ais do Rachabám mac Sholaimh.
21 Y como Roboam vino á Jerusalem, juntó toda la casa de Judá y la tribu de Benjamín, ciento y ochenta mil hombres escogidos de guerra, para hacer guerra á la casa de Israel, y reducir el reino á Roboam hijo de Salomón.
21 Und da Rehabeam gen Jerusalem kam, sammelte er das ganze Haus Juda und den Stamm Benjamin, hundertundachtzigtausend junge, streitbare Mannschaft, wider das Haus Israel zu streiten und das Königreich wieder an Rehabeam, den Sohn Salomos, zu bringen.
22 But the word of God came to Shemaiah, the man of God, saying,
22 Mais la parole de Dieu fut ainsi adressée à Schemaeja, homme de Dieu:
22 Ach tháinig briathar an Tiarna go Seamaiá an giolla Dé, agus dúirt:
22 Mas fué palabra de Jehová á Semeías varón de Dios, diciendo:
22 Es kam aber Gottes Wort zu Semaja, dem Mann Gottes, und sprach:
23 Say to Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and to all the men of Judah and Benjamin and the rest of the people:
23 Parle à Roboam, fils de Salomon, roi de Juda, et à toute la maison de Juda et de Benjamin, et au reste du peuple.
23 “Abair é seo le Rachabám, mac Sholaimh, rí Iúdá, le teaghlach Iúdá go léir agus le Biniáimin, agus leis an gcuid eile den phobal:
23 Habla á Roboam hijo de Salomón, rey de Judá, y á toda la casa de Judá y de Benjamín, y á los demás del pueblo, diciendo:
23 Sage Rehabeam, dem Sohn Salomos, dem König Juda's, und zum ganzen Hause Juda und Benjamin und dem andern Volk und sprich:
24 The Lord has said, You are not to go to war against your brothers, the children of Israel; go back, every man to his house, because this thing is my purpose. So they gave ear to the word of the Lord, and went back, as the Lord had said.
24 Et dis-leur: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Ne montez point, et ne faites pas la guerre à vos frères, les enfants d'Israël! Que chacun de vous retourne dans sa maison, car c'est de par moi que cette chose est arrivée. Ils obéirent à la parole de l'Éternel, et ils s'en retournèrent, selon la parole de l'Éternel.
24 Mar seo a deir an Tiarna: ‘Ná téigí suas agus ná troidigí in aghaidh bhur mbráithre, pobal Iosrael. Filleadh gach duine ar a bhaile; an rud seo a tharla, is mise is cúis leis.’ ” [Agus d'éisteadar go léir le briathar an Tiarna, agus d'imíodar leo abhaile arís de réir bhriathar an Tiarna.]
24 Así ha dicho Jehová: No vayáis, ni peleéis contra vuestros hermanos los hijos de Israel; volveos cada uno á su casa; porque este negocio yo lo he hecho. Y ellos oyeron la palabra de Dios, y volviéronse, y fuéronse, conforme á la palabra de Jehová.
24 So spricht der HERR: Ihr sollt nicht hinaufziehen und streiten wider eure Brüder, die Kinder Israel; jedermann gehe wieder heim; denn solches ist von mir geschehen. Und sie gehorchten dem Wort des HERRN und kehrten um, daß sie hingingen, wie der Herr gesagt hatte.
25 Then Jeroboam made the town of Shechem in the hill-country of Ephraim a strong place, and was living there; and from there he went out and did the same to Penuel.
25 Jéroboam bâtit Sichem sur la montagne d'Éphraïm, et il y demeura; puis il en sortit, et bâtit Penuel.
25 Ansin thóg Iarobám Seicim in ardáin Eafráim agus chuir faoi ann. Ansin d'fhág sé an áit sin agus dhaingnigh sé Panúéil.
25 Y reedificó Jeroboam á Sichêm en el monte de Ephraim, y habitó en ella; y saliendo de allí, reedificó á Penuel.
25 Jerobeam aber baute Sichem auf dem Gebirge Ephraim und wohnte darin, und zog von da heraus und baute Pnuel.
26 And Jeroboam said in his heart, Now the kingdom will go back to the family of David:
26 Jéroboam dit en son coeur: Le royaume pourrait bien maintenant retourner à la maison de David.
26 Agus dúirt Iarobám ina chroí istigh: “Dá réir seo, fillfidh an ríocht seo chun teaghlach Dháiví.
26 Y dijo Jeroboam en su corazón: Ahora se volverá el reino á la casa de David,
26 Jerobeam aber gedachte in seinem Herzen: Das Königreich wird nun wieder zum Hause David fallen.
27 If the people go up to make offerings in the house of the Lord at Jerusalem, their heart will be turned again to their lord, to Rehoboam, king of Judah; and they will put me to death and go back to Rehoboam, king of Judah.
27 Si ce peuple monte à Jérusalem pour faire des sacrifices dans la maison de l'Éternel, le coeur de ce peuple retournera à son seigneur, à Roboam, roi de Juda, et ils me tueront et retourneront à Roboam, roi de Juda.
27 Má leanann an pobal seo ag dul suas chuig Teampall an Tiarna in Iarúsailéim chun íobairtí a ofráil, iompóidh croí an phobail ar ais athuair chun a dtaoisigh Rachabám, rí Iúdá, agus cuirfidh siad chun báis mé [agus fillfidh siad ar Rachabám, rí Iúdá].”
27 Si este pueblo subiere á sacrificar á la casa de Jehová en Jerusalem: porque el corazón de este pueblo se convertirá á su señor Roboam rey de Judá, y me matarán á mí, y se tornarán á Roboam rey de Judá.
27 Wenn dies Volk soll hinaufgehen, Opfer zu tun in des HERRN Hause zu Jerusalem, so wird sich das Herz dieses Volkes wenden zu ihrem Herrn Rehabeam, dem König Juda's, und sie werden mich erwürgen und wieder zu Rehabeam, dem König Juda's, fallen.
28 So after taking thought the king made two oxen of gold; and he said to the people, You have been going up to Jerusalem long enough; see! these are your gods, O Israel, who took you out of the land of Egypt.
28 Après s'être consulté, le roi fit deux veaux d'or, et il dit au peuple: Assez longtemps vous êtes montés à Jérusalem; Israël! voici ton Dieu, qui t'a fait sortir du pays d'Égypte.
28 Rinne an rí a mhachnamh air seo dá réir sin, agus ansin rinne sé dhá lao óir. Dúirt sé leis an bpobal: “Tá sibh fada go leor ag dul suas go Iarúsailéim; seo agaibh bhur ndéithe, a Iosrael; is iad seo a thug aníos sibh as tír na hÉigipte.”
28 Y habido consejo, hizo el rey dos becerros de oro, y dijo al pueblo: Harto habéis subido á Jerusalem: he aquí tus dioses, oh Israel, que te hicieron subir de la tierra de Egipto.
28 Und der König hielt einen Rat und machte zwei goldenen Kälber und sprach zu ihnen: es ist euch zuviel, hinauf gen Jerusalem zu gehen; siehe, da sind deine Götter, Israel, die dich aus Ägyptenland geführt haben.
29 And he put one in Beth-el and the other in Dan.
29 Il plaça l'un de ces veaux à Béthel, et il mit l'autre à Dan.

29 Y puso el uno en Beth-el, y el otro puso en Dan.
29 Und er setzte eins zu Beth-El, und das andere tat er gen Dan.
30 And this became a sin in Israel; for the people went to give worship to the one at Beth-el, and to the other at Dan.

31 And he made places for worship at the high places, and made priests, who were not Levites, from among all the people.
31 Jéroboam fit une maison de hauts lieux, et il créa des sacrificateurs pris parmi tout le peuple et n'appartenant point aux fils de Lévi.

32 And Jeroboam gave orders for a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like the feast which is kept in Judah, and he went up to the altar. And in the same way, in Beth-el, he gave offerings to the oxen which he had made, placing in Beth-el the priests of the high places he had made.
32 Il établit une fête au huitième mois, le quinzième jour du mois, comme la fête qui se célébrait en Juda, et il offrit des sacrifices sur l'autel. Voici ce qu'il fit à Béthel afin que l'on sacrifiât aux veaux qu'il avait faits. Il plaça à Béthel les prêtres des hauts lieux qu'il avait élevés.
32 Lena chois sin bhunaigh Iarobám féile san ochtú mí, ar an gcúigiú lá déag den mhí, ar nós na féile a cheiliúrtaí in Iúdá, agus chuaigh sé suas chun na haltóra. Sin mar a rinne sé i mBéitéil, agus d'ofráil sé íobairtí do na laonna a bhí déanta aige. Agus chuir sé i mBéitéil sagairt na n‑ardionad a bhí bunaithe aige.
32 Entonces instituyó Jeroboam solemnidad en el mes octavo, á los quince del mes, conforme á la solemnidad que se celebraba en Judá; y sacrificó sobre altar. Así hizo en Beth-el, sacrificando á los becerros que había hecho. Ordenó también en Beth-el sacerdotes de los altos que él había fabricado.
32 Und er machte ein Fest am fünfzehnten Tage des achten Monats wie das Fest in Juda und opferte auf dem Altar. So tat er zu Beth-El, daß man den Kälbern opferte, die er gemacht hatte, und stiftete zu Beth-El die Priester der Höhen, die er gemacht hatte,
33 He went up to the altar he had made in Beth-el on the fifteenth day of the eighth month, the month fixed by him at his pleasure; and he gave orders for a feast for the people of Israel, and went up to the altar, and there he made the smoke of his offerings go up.
33 Et il monta sur l'autel qu'il avait fait à Béthel, le quinzième jour du huitième mois, mois qu'il avait choisi de son gré. Il fit une fête pour les enfants d'Israël, et il monta sur l'autel pour brûler des parfums.
