1 Now the queen of Sheba, hearing great things of Solomon, came to put his wisdom to the test with hard questions.
1 La reine de Séba apprit la renommée que possédait Salomon, à la gloire de l'Éternel, et elle vint pour l'éprouver par des énigmes.

1 Y Oyendo la reina de Seba la fama de Salomón en el nombre de Jehová, vino á probarle con preguntas.
1 Und da das Gerücht von Salomo und von dem Namen des HERRN kam vor die Königin von Reicharabien, kam sie, Salomo zu versuchen mit Rätseln.
2 And she came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels weighted down with spices, and stores of gold and jewels: and when she came to Solomon she had talk with him of everything in her mind.
2 Elle arriva à Jérusalem avec une suite fort nombreuse, et avec des chameaux portant des aromates, de l'or en très grande quantité, et des pierres précieuses. Elle se rendit auprès de Salomon, et elle lui dit tout ce qu'elle avait dans le coeur.

2 Y vino á Jerusalem con muy grande comitiva, con camellos cargados de especias, y oro en grande abundancia, y piedras preciosas: y como vino á Salomón, propúsole todo lo que en su corazón tenía.
2 Und sie kam gen Jerusalem mit sehr vielem Volk, mit Kamelen, die Spezerei trugen und viel Gold und Edelsteine. Und da sie zum König Salomo hineinkam, redete sie ihm alles, was sie sich vorgenommen hatte.
3 And Solomon gave her answers to all her questions; there was no secret which the king did not make clear to her.
3 Salomon répondit à toutes ses questions, et il n'y eut rien que le roi ne sût lui expliquer.

3 Y Salomón le declaró todas sus palabras: ninguna cosa se le escondió al rey, que no le declarase.

4 And when the queen of Sheba had seen all the wisdom of Solomon, and the house which he had made,
4 La reine de Séba vit toute la sagesse de Salomon, et la maison qu'il avait bâtie,
4 Nuair a chonaic banríon Sheabá chomh críonna ar fad agus a bhí Solamh, an pálás a bhí tógtha aige,
4 Y cuando la reina de Seba vió toda la sabiduría de Salomón, y la casa que había edificado,
4 Da aber die Königin von Reicharabien sah alle Weisheit Salomos und das Haus, das er gebaut hatte,
5 And the food at his table, and all his servants seated there, and those who were waiting on him in their places, and their robes, and his wine-servants, and the burned offerings which he made in the house of the Lord, there was no more spirit in her.
5 et les mets de sa table, et la demeure de ses serviteurs, et les fonctions et les vêtements de ceux qui le servaient, et ses échansons, et ses holocaustes qu'il offrait dans la maison de l'Éternel.
5 bia a bhoird agus an chóir a bhí ar a oifigigh, eagrú a lucht freastail agus an feisteas a bhí orthu, lucht iompair na gcorn aige agus na híobairtí dóite a d'ofráladh sé i dTeampall an Tiarna, baineadh stangadh aisti,
5 Asimismo la comida de su mesa, el asiento de sus siervos, el estado y vestidos de los que le servían, sus maestresalas, y sus holocaustos que sacrificaba en la casa de Jehová, quedóse enajenada.
5 und die Speise für seinen Tisch und seiner Knechte Wohnung und seiner Diener Amt und ihre Kleider und seine Schenken und seine Brandopfer, die er im Hause des HERRN opferte, konnte sie sich nicht mehr enthalten
6 And she said to the king, The account which was given to me in my country of your acts and your wisdom was true.
6 Hors d'elle même, elle dit au roi: C'était donc vrai ce que j'ai appris dans mon pays au sujet de ta position et de ta sagesse!
6 agus dúirt sí leis an rí: “Ba í an fhírinne, mar sin, a chuala mé i mo thír féin faoi do chúraimí agus faoi do chríonnacht!
6 Y dijo al rey: Verdad es lo que oí en mi tierra de tus cosas y de tu sabiduría;
6 und sprach zum König: Es ist wahr, was ich in meinem Lande gehört habe von deinem Wesen und von deiner Weisheit.
7 But I had no faith in what was said about you, till I came and saw for myself; and now I see that it was not half the story; your wisdom and your wealth are much greater than they said.
7 Je ne le croyais pas, avant d'être venue et d'avoir vu de mes yeux. Et voici, on ne m'en a pas dit la moitié. Tu as plus de sagesse et de prospérité que la renommée ne me l'a fait connaître.
7 Nó gur tháinig mé agus go bhfaca mé le mo shúile cinn é, níorbh fhéidir liom an tuairisc a chreidiúint; ach is léir nár inis siad a leath dom; sáraíonn tú le críonnacht agus le saibhreas, an tuairisc a chuala mé.
7 Mas yo no lo creía, hasta que he venido, y mis ojos han visto, que ni aun la mitad fué lo que se me dijo: es mayor tu sabiduría y bien que la fama que yo había oído.
7 Und ich habe es nicht wollen glauben, bis ich gekommen bin und habe es mit meinen Augen gesehen. Und siehe, es ist mir nicht die Hälfte gesagt. Du hast mehr Weisheit und Gut, denn das Gerücht ist, das ich gehört habe.
8 Happy are your wives, happy are these your servants whose place is ever before you, hearing your words of wisdom.
8 Heureux tes gens, heureux tes serviteurs qui sont continuellement devant toi, qui entendent ta sagesse!

9 May the Lord your God be praised, whose pleasure it was to put you on the seat of the kingdom of Israel; because the Lord's love for Israel is eternal, he has made you king, to be their judge in righteousness.
9 Béni soit l'Éternel, ton Dieu, qui t'a accordé la faveur de te placer sur le trône d'Israël! C'est parce que l'Éternel aime à toujours Israël, qu'il t'a établi roi pour que tu fasses droit et justice.
9 Moladh leis an Tiarna do Dhia, a bhronn an chomaoin seo ort agus a chuir ar ríchathaoir Iosrael thú. De bhrí go raibh grá bithbhuan ag an Tiarna d'Iosrael, rinne sé rí díotsa chun an chóir agus an ceart a riar.”
9 Jehová tu Dios sea bendito, que se agradó de ti para ponerte en el trono de Israel; porque Jehová ha amado siempre á Israel, y te ha puesto por rey, para que hagas derecho y justicia.
9 Gelobt sei der HERR, dein Gott, der zu dir Lust hat, daß er dich auf den Stuhl Israels gesetzt hat; darum daß der HERR Israel liebhat ewiglich, hat er dich zum König gesetzt, daß du Gericht und Recht haltest.
10 And she gave the king a hundred and twenty talents of gold, and a great store of spices and jewels: never again was such a wealth of spices seen as that which the queen of Sheba gave King Solomon.
10 Elle donna au roi cent vingt talents d'or, une très grande quantité d'aromates, et des pierres précieuses. Il ne vint plus autant d'aromates que la reine de Séba en donna au roi Salomon.
10 Bhronn sí céad fiche tallann óir ansin ar an rí agus lear mór spíosraí agus liaga lómhara. Níor tháinig saibhreas spíosraí riamh ina dhiaidh sin a bhí inchurtha leo siúd a bhronn banríon Sheabá ar Sholamh rí.
10 Y dió ella al rey ciento y veinte talentos de oro, y muy mucha especiería, y piedras preciosas: nunca vino tan grande copia de especias, como la reina de Seba dió al rey Salomón.
10 Und sie gab dem König hundertzwanzig Zentner Gold und sehr viel Spezerei und Edelgestein. Es kam nicht mehr so viel Spezerei, als die Königin von Reicharabien dem König Salomo gab.
11 And the sea-force of Hiram, in addition to gold from Ophir, came back with much sandal-wood and jewels.
11 Les navires de Hiram, qui apportèrent de l'or d'Ophir, amenèrent aussi d'Ophir une grande quantité de bois de santal et des pierres précieuses.
11 Agus cabhlach Híorám a thug ór ó Óifír, thug sé chomh maith lastaí mora d'adhmad almug agus de liaga lómhara.
11 La flota de Hiram que había traído el oro de Ophir, traía también de Ophir muy mucha madera de brasil, y piedras preciosas.
11 Dazu die Schiffe Hirams, die Gold aus Ophir führten, brachten sehr viel Sandelholz und Edelgestein.
12 And from the sandal-wood the king made pillars for the house of the Lord, and for the king's house, and instruments of music for the makers of melody: never has such sandal-wood been seen to this day.
12 Le roi fit avec le bois de santal des balustrades pour la maison de l'Éternel et pour la maison du roi, et des harpes et des luths pour les chantres. Il ne vint plus de ce bois de santal, et on n'en a plus vu jusqu'à ce jour.
12 Den adhmad almug rinne an rí teanntaí do Theampall an Tiarna, agus don phálás ríoga, agus lireanna agus cruiteanna do na ceoltóirí; níor tháinig a thuilleadh den adhmad almug sin ó shin, ná ní fhacthas aon chuid de go dtí an lá seo féin.
12 Y de la madera de brasil hizo el rey balaustres para la casa de Jehová, y para las casas reales, arpas también y salterios para los cantores: nunca vino tanta madera de brasil, ni se ha visto hasta hoy.
12 Und der König ließ machen von Sandelholz Pfeiler im Hause des HERRN und im Hause des Königs und Harfen und Psalter für die Sänger. Es kam nicht mehr solch Sandelholz, ward auch nicht mehr gesehen bis auf diesen Tag.
13 And King Solomon gave the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatever she made request for, in addition to what he gave her freely from the impulse of his heart. So she went back to her country, she and her servants.
13 Le roi Salomon donna à la reine de Séba tout ce qu'elle désira, ce qu'elle demanda, et lui fit en outre des présents dignes d'un roi tel que Salomon. Puis elle s'en retourna et alla dans son pays, elle et ses serviteurs.
13 Agus bhronn Solamh rí ar bhanríon Sheabá gach arbh áil léi, agus bronntanais le barr a fhéile ríoga féin chomh maith. Ansin d'imigh sí léi abhaile chun a tíre féin, í féin agus a searbhóntaí. Solamh Saibhir
13 Y el rey Salomón dió á la reina de Seba todo lo que quiso, y todo lo que pidió, además de lo que Salomón le dió como de mano del rey Salomón. Y ella se volvió, y se fué á su tierra con sus criados.
13 Und der König Salomo gab der Königin von Reicharabien alles, was sie begehrte und bat, außer was er ihr von selbst gab. Und sie wandte sich und zog in ihr Land samt ihren Knechten.
14 Now the weight of gold which came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and sixty-six talents;

16 And Solomon made two hundred body-covers of hammered gold, every one having six hundred shekels of gold in it.
16 Le roi Salomon fit deux cents grands boucliers d'or battu, pour chacun desquels il employa six cents sicles d'or,
16 Rinne Solamh rí dhá chéad sciath mhór d'ór ceárta; chuaigh sé chéad seicil óir i ngach sciath.
16 Hizo también el rey Salomón doscientos paveses de oro extendido: seiscientos siclos de oro gastó en cada pavés.
16 Und der König Salomo ließ machen zweihundert Schilde vom besten Gold, sechshundert Lot tat er zu einem Schild,
17 And he made three hundred smaller body-covers of hammered gold, with three pounds of gold in every cover: and the king put them in the house of the Woods of Lebanon.
17 et trois cents autres boucliers d'or battu, pour chacun desquels il employa trois mines d'or; et le roi les mit dans la maison de la forêt du Liban.

17 Asimismo trescientos escudos de oro extendido, en cada uno de los cuales gastó tres libras de oro: y púsolos el rey en la casa del bosque del Líbano.
17 und dreihundert Tartschen vom besten Gold, je drei Pfund Gold zu einer Tartsche. Und der König tat sie in das Haus am Wald Libanon.
18 Then the king made a great ivory seat, plated with the best gold.
18 Le roi fit un grand trône d'ivoire, et le couvrit d'or pur.

18 Hizo también el rey un gran trono de marfil, el cual cubrió de oro purísimo.
18 Und der König machte einen großen Stuhl von Elfenbein und überzog ihn mit dem edelsten Golde.
19 There were six steps going up to it, and the top of it was round at the back, there were arms on the two sides of the seat, and two lions by the side of the arms;
19 Ce trône avait six degrés, et la partie supérieure en était arrondie par derrière; il y avait des bras de chaque côté du siège; deux lions étaient près des bras,
19 Bhí sé chéim chun na ríchathaoireach, agus bhí ceann lao ar chúl na cathaoireach; bhí taca uillinne ar gach taobh den ríchathaoir; bhí dhá leon le taobh na dtacaí
19 Seis gradas tenía el trono, y lo alto de él era redondo por el respaldo: y de la una parte y de la otra tenía apoyos cerca del asiento, junto á los cuales estaban colocados dos leones.
19 Und der Stuhl hatte sechs Stufen, und das Haupt hinten am Stuhl war rund, und waren Lehnen auf beiden Seiten um den Sitz, und zwei Löwen standen an den Lehnen.
20 And twelve lions were placed on the one side and on the other side on the six steps: there was nothing like it in any kingdom.
20 et douze lions sur les six degrés de part et d'autre. Il ne s'est rien fait de pareil pour aucun royaume.
20 agus dhá leon déag ar na céimeanna, leon ag dhá cheann gach céime de na sé céimeanna. Ní dhearnadh a leithéid riamh in aon ríocht eile.
20 Estaban también doce leones puestos allí sobre las seis gradas, de la una parte y de la otra: en ningún otro reino se había hecho trono semejante.
20 Und zwölf Löwen standen auf den sechs Stufen auf beiden Seiten. Solches ist nie gemacht in allen Königreichen.
21 And all King Solomon's drinking-vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the Woods of Lebanon were of the best gold; not one was of silver, for no one gave a thought to silver in the days of King Solomon.
21 Toutes les coupes du roi Salomon étaient d'or, et toute la vaisselle de la maison de la forêt du Liban était d'or pur. Rien n'était d'argent: on n'en faisait aucun cas du temps de Salomon.
21 Ba d'ór soithí óil uile Sholaimh rí, agus ba d'ór fíre gréithe uile Halla Fhoraois na Liobáine, gan aon ní d'airgead mar ba bheag an meas a bhí ar airgead le linn Sholaimh.
21 Y todos los vasos de beber del rey Salomón eran de oro, y asimismo toda la vajilla de la casa del bosque del Líbano era de oro fino: no había plata; en tiempo de Salomón no era de estima.
21 Alle Trinkgefäße des Königs Salomo waren golden, und alle Gefäße im Hause vom Wald Libanon waren auch lauter Gold; denn das Silber achtete man zu den Zeiten Salomos für nichts.
22 For the king had Tarshish-ships at sea with the ships of Hiram; once every three years the Tarshish-ships came with gold and silver and ivory and monkeys and peacocks.
22 Car le roi avait en mer des navires de Tarsis avec ceux de Hiram; et tous les trois ans arrivaient les navires de Tarsis, apportant de l'or et de l'argent, de l'ivoire, des singes et des paons.

22 Porque el rey tenía la flota que salía á la mar, á Tharsis, con la flota de Hiram: una vez en cada tres años venía la flota de Tharsis, y traía oro, plata, marfil, simios y pavos.
22 Denn die Meerschiffe des Königs, die auf dem Meer mit den Schiffen Hirams fuhren, kamen in drei Jahren einmal und brachten Gold, Silber, Elfenbein, Affen und Pfauen.
23 And King Solomon was greater than all the kings of the earth in wealth and in wisdom.
23 Le roi Salomon fut plus grand que tous les rois de la terre par les richesses et par la sagesse.

24 And from all over the earth they came to see Solomon and to give ear to his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.
24 Tout le monde cherchait à voir Salomon, pour entendre la sagesse que Dieu avait mise dans son coeur.

24 Toda la tierra procuraba ver la cara de Salomón, para oir su sabiduría, la cual Dios había puesto en su corazón.
24 Und alle Welt begehrte Salomo zu sehen, daß sie die Weisheit hörten, die ihm Gott in sein Herz gegeben hatte.
25 And everyone took with him an offering, vessels of silver and vessels of gold, and robes, and coats of metal, and spices, and horses, and beasts of transport, regularly year by year.
25 Et chacun apportait son présent, des objets d'argent et des objets d'or, des vêtements, des armes, des aromates, des chevaux et des mulets; et il en était ainsi chaque année.

25 Y todos le llevaban cada año sus presentes: vasos de oro, vasos de plata, vestidos, armas, aromas, caballos y acémilas.
25 Und jedermann brachte ihm Geschenke, silberne und goldene Geräte, Kleider und Waffen, Würze, Rosse, Maultiere-jährlich.
26 And Solomon got together war-carriages and horsemen; he had one thousand, four hundred carriages and twelve thousand horsemen, whom he kept, some in the carriage-towns and some with the king at Jerusalem.
26 Salomon rassembla des chars et de la cavalerie; il avait quatorze cents chars et douze mille cavaliers, qu'il plaça dans les villes où il tenait ses chars et à Jérusalem près du roi.
26 Bhailigh Solamh carbaid agus capaill le chéile; bhí míle ceithre chéad carbad aige, agus dhá mhíle dhéag capall. Bhuanaigh sé iadsan sna cathracha carbad agus in aice an rí in Iarúsailéim.
26 Y juntó Salomón carros y gente de á caballo; y tenía mil cuatrocientos carros, y doce mil jinetes, los cuales puso en las ciudades de los carros, y con el rey en Jerusalem.
26 Und Salomo brachte zuhauf Wagen und Reiter, daß er hatte tausend und vierhundert Wagen und zwölftausend Reiter, und legte sie in die Wagenstädte und zum König nach Jerusalem.
27 And the king made silver as common as stones in Jerusalem and cedars like the sycamore-trees of the lowlands in number.
27 Le roi rendit l'argent aussi commun à Jérusalem que les pierres, et les cèdres aussi nombreux que les sycomores qui croissent dans la plaine.

27 Y puso el rey en Jerusalem plata como piedras, y cedros como los cabrahigos que están por los campos en abundancia.
27 Und der König machte, daß des Silbers zu Jerusalem so viel war wie die Steine, und Zedernholz so viel wie die wilden Feigenbäume in den Gründen
28 And Solomon's horses came from Egypt and from Kue; the king's traders got them at a price from Kue.
28 C'était de l'Égypte que Salomon tirait ses chevaux; une caravane de marchands du roi les allait chercher par troupes à un prix fixe:
28 Dhéantaí capaill Sholaimh a allmhairiú ón Éigipt agus ó [Chilicia], agus ghlacadh gníomhairí an rí leo ó Chilicia ar phraghas cinnte.
28 Y sacaban caballos y lienzos á Salomón de Egipto: porque la compañía de los mercaderes del rey compraban caballos y lienzos.
28 Und man brachte dem Salomo Pferde aus Ägypten und allerlei Ware; und die Kaufleute des Königs kauften diese Ware
29 A war-carriage might be got from Egypt for six hundred shekels of silver, and a horse for a hundred and fifty; they got them at the same rate for all the kings of the Hittites and the kings of Aram.
29 un char montait et sortait d'Égypte pour six cents sicles d'argent, et un cheval pour cent cinquante sicles. Ils en amenaient de même avec eux pour tous les rois des Héthiens et pour les rois de Syrie.
