1 Now when Solomon came to the end of building the house of the Lord and the king's house, and all Solomon's desires, which he had in mind were effected;
1 Lorsque Salomon eut achevé de bâtir la maison de l'Éternel, la maison du roi, et tout ce qu'il lui plut de faire,

2 The Lord came to him again in a vision, as he had done at Gibeon;

3 And the Lord said to him, Your prayers and your requests for grace have come to my ears: I have made holy this house which you have made, and I have put my name there for ever; my eyes and my heart will be there at all times.
3 Et l'Éternel lui dit: J'exauce ta prière et ta supplication que tu m'as adressées, je sanctifie cette maison que tu as bâtie pour y mettre à jamais mon nom, et j'aurai toujours là mes yeux et mon coeur.
3 Dúirt an Tiarna leis: “D'eist mé le d'urnaí agus leis an achainí a rinne tú os mo chomhair. Choisric mé an teach seo a thóg tú, agus chuir mé m'ainm ann go brách; beidh mo shúile agus mo chroí ann go brách na breithe.
3 Y díjole Jehová: Yo he oído tu oración y tu ruego, que has hecho en mi presencia. Yo he santificado esta casa que tú has edificado, para poner mi nombre en ella para siempre; y en ella estarán mis ojos y mi corazón todos los días.
3 Und der HERR sprach zu ihm: Ich habe dein Gebet und Flehen gehört, das du vor mir gefleht hast, und habe dies Haus geheiligt, das du gebaut hast, daß ich meinen Namen dahin setze ewiglich; und meine Augen und mein Herz sollen da sein allewege.
4 As for you, if you will go on your way before me, as David your father did, uprightly and with a true heart, doing what I have given you orders to do, keeping my laws and my decisions;
4 Et toi, si tu marches en ma présence comme a marché David, ton père, avec sincérité de coeur et avec droiture, faisant tout ce que je t'ai commandé, si tu observes mes lois et mes ordonnances,
4 Agus maidir leat féin, má shiúlann tú i mo láthair le glaine chroí agus le hionracas, mar a rinne Dáiví d'athair, má dhéanann tú gach ar ordaigh mé duit, agus má chomhlíonann tú mo dhlíthe agus mo reachtanna,
4 Y si tú anduvieres delante de mí, como anduvo David tu padre, en integridad de corazón y en equidad, haciendo todas las cosas que yo te he mandado, y guardando mis estatutos y mis derechos,
4 Und du, so du vor mir wandelst, wie dein Vater David gewandelt hat, mit rechtschaffenem Herzen und aufrichtig, daß du tust alles, was ich dir geboten habe, und meine Gebote und Rechte hältst:
5 Then I will make the seat of your rule over Israel certain for ever, as I gave my word to David your father, saying, You will never be without a man to be king in Israel.
5 j'établirai pour toujours le trône de ton royaume en Israël, comme je l'ai déclaré à David, ton père, en disant: Tu ne manqueras jamais d'un successeur sur le trône d'Israël.
5 daingneoidh mé do ríchathaoir os cionn Iosrael go deo, faoi mar a gheall mé do Dháiví d'athair á rá: ‘Ní bheidh tú riamh gan fear i ríchathaoir Iosrael.’
5 Yo afirmaré el trono de tu reino sobre Israel para siempre, como hablé á David tu padre, diciendo: No faltará de ti varón en el trono de Israel.
5 so will ich bestätigen den Stuhl deines Königreiches über Israel ewiglich, wie ich deinem Vater David geredet habe und gesagt: Es soll dir nicht gebrechen an einem Mann auf dem Stuhl Israels.
6 But if you are turned from my ways, you or your children, and do not keep my orders and my laws which I have put before you, but go and make yourselves servants to other gods and give them worship:
6 Mais si vous vous détournez de moi, vous et vos fils, si vous n'observez pas mes commandements, mes lois que je vous ai prescrites, et si vous allez servir d'autres dieux et vous prosterner devant eux,
6 Ach má iompaíonn sibh féin uaim agus gan mé a leanúint, nó bhur gclann mhac, agus nach gcoimeádfaidh sibh na haitheanta ná na reachtanna a chuir mé romhaibh, ach imeacht agus seirbhís a dhéanamh do dhéithe eile agus iad a adhradh,
6 Mas si obstinadamente os apartareis de mí vosotros y vuestros hijos, y no guardareis mis mandamientos y mis estatutos que yo he puesto delante de vosotros, sino que fuereis y sirviereis á dioses ajenos, y los adorareis;
6 Werdet ihr aber euch von mir abwenden, ihr und eure Kinder, und nicht halten meine Gebote und Rechte, die ich euch vorgelegt habe, und hingehen und andern Göttern dienen und sie anbeten:
7 Then I will have Israel cut off from the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have made holy for myself, I will put away from before my eyes; and Israel will be a public example, and a word of shame among all peoples.
7 j'exterminerai Israël du pays que je lui ai donné, je rejetterai loin de moi la maison que j'ai consacrée à mon nom, et Israël sera un sujet de sarcasme et de raillerie parmi tous les peuples.
7 ansin déanfaidh mé Iosrael a dhíbirt ón tír a thug mé dóibh agus caithfidh mé uaim as mo radharc an Teampall seo a choisric mé do m'ainm, agus beidh Iosrael ina sheanfhocal agus ina nath i measc na gciníocha go léir.
7 Yo cortaré á Israel de sobre la haz de la tierra que les he entregado; y esta casa que he santificado á mi nombre, yo la echaré de delante de mí, é Israel será por proverbio y fábula á todos los pueblos;
7 so werde ich Israel ausrotten von dem Lande, das ich ihnen gegeben habe; und das Haus, das ich geheiligt habe meinem Namen, will ich verwerfen von meinem Angesicht; und Israel wird ein Sprichwort und eine Fabel sein unter allen Völkern.
8 And this house will become a mass of broken walls, and everyone who goes by will be overcome with wonder at it and make whistling sounds; and they will say, Why has the Lord done so to this land and to this house?
8 Et si haut placée qu'ait été cette maison, quiconque passera près d'elle sera dans l'étonnement et sifflera. On dira: Pourquoi l'Éternel a-t-il ainsi traité ce pays et cette maison?
8 Agus maidir leis an Teampall seo, déanfar leachtán de; cuirfidh sé alltacht ar gach duine a ghabhfaidh thar bráid; ligfidh siad fead agus déarfaidh siad: ‘Cén fáth ar thug an Tiarna an cor seo ar an tír agus ar an Teampall seo?’
8 Y esta casa que estaba en estima, cualquiera que pasare por ella se pasmará, y silbará, y dirá: ¿Por qué ha hecho así Jehová á esta tierra, y á esta casa?
8 Und das Haus wird eingerissen werden, daß alle, die vorübergehen, werden sich entsetzen und zischen und sagen: Warum hat der HERR diesem Lande und diesem Hause also getan?
9 And their answer will be, Because they were turned away from the Lord their God, who took their fathers out of the land of Egypt; they took for themselves other gods and gave them worship and became their servants: that is why the Lord has sent all this evil on them.
9 Et l'on répondra: Parce qu'ils ont abandonné l'Éternel, leur Dieu, qui a fait sortir leurs pères du pays d'Égypte, parce qu'ils se sont attachés à d'autres dieux, se sont prosternés devant eux et les ont servis; voilà pourquoi l'Éternel a fait venir sur eux tous ces maux.
9 Agus sé freagra a gheobhaidh siad: ‘Mar gur thréig siad an Tiarna a nDia a thug a sinsir amach as tír na hÉigipte, agus gur ghlac siad chucu déithe eile agus gur thug siad ómós agus seirbhís dóibh; sin é an fáth ar thug an Tiarna an drochíde sin go léir orthu.’ ” Eolas Breise
9 Y dirán: Por cuanto dejaron á Jehová su Dios, que había sacado á sus padres de tierra de Egipto, y echaron mano á dioses ajenos, y los adoraron, y los sirvieron: por eso ha traído Jehová sobre ellos todo aqueste mal.
9 so wird man antworten: Darum, daß sie den HERRN, ihren Gott, verlassen haben, der ihre Väter aus Ägyptenland führte, und haben angenommen andere Götter und sie angebetet und ihnen gedient, darum hat der HERR all dies Übel über sie gebracht.
10 Now at the end of twenty years, in which time Solomon had put up the two houses, the house of the Lord and the king's house,

11 (Hiram, king of Tyre, had given Solomon cedar-trees and cypress-trees and gold, as much as he had need of,) King Solomon gave Hiram twenty towns in the land of Galilee.
11 Alors, comme Hiram, roi de Tyr, avait fourni à Salomon des bois de cèdre et des bois de cyprès, et de l'or, autant qu'il en voulut, le roi Salomon donna à Hiram vingt villes dans le pays de Galilée.

11 (Para las cuales Hiram rey de Tiro, había traído á Salomón madera de cedro y de haya, y cuanto oro él quiso), que el rey Salomón dió á Hiram veinte ciudades en tierra de Galilea.
11 dazu Hiram, der König zu Tyrus, Salomo Zedernbäume und Tannenbäume und Gold nach allem seinem Begehr brachte: Da gab der König Salomo Hiram zwanzig Städte im Land Galiläa.
12 But when Hiram came from Tyre to see the towns which Solomon had given him, he was not pleased with them.
12 Hiram sortit de Tyr, pour voir les villes que lui donnait Salomon. Mais elles ne lui plurent point,
12 Ach nuair a tháinig Híorám ón Tuír chun na cathracha a thug Solamh dó a iniúchadh, ní raibh sé sásta leo.
12 Y salió Hiram de Tiro para ver las ciudades que Salomón le había dado, y no le contentaron.
12 Und Hiram zog aus von Tyrus, die Städte zu besehen, die ihm Salomo gegeben hatte; und sie gefielen ihm nicht,
13 And he said, What sort of towns are these which you have given me, my brother? So they were named the land of Cabul, to this day.
13 et il dit: Quelles villes m'as-tu données là, mon frère? Et il les appela pays de Cabul, nom qu'elles ont conservé jusqu'à ce jour.
13 “Cén sórt cathracha iad sin a thug dom, a bhráthair?” ar sé. Agus go dtí an lá inniu féin tugtar “Tír Cábúl” [Gan Mhaith] orthu.
13 Y dijo: ¿Qué ciudades son estas que me has dado, hermano? Y púsoles por nombre, la tierra de Cabul, hasta hoy.
13 und er sprach: Was sind das für Städte, mein Bruder, die du mir gegeben hast? Und hieß das Land Kabul bis auf diesen Tag.
14 And Hiram sent the king a hundred and twenty talents of gold.
14 Hiram avait envoyé au roi cent vingt talents d'or.
14 Chuir Híorám céad agus fiche tallann airgid chun an rí.
14 Y había Hiram enviado al rey ciento y veinte talentos de oro.

15 Now, this was the way of Solomon's system of forced work for the building of the Lord's house and of the king's house, and the Millo and the wall of Jerusalem and Megiddo and Gezer. ...
15 Voici ce qui concerne les hommes de corvée que leva le roi Salomon pour bâtir la maison de l'Éternel et sa propre maison, Millo, et le mur de Jérusalem, Hatsor, Meguiddo et Guézer.

15 Y esta es la razón del tributo que el rey Salomón impuso para edificar la casa de Jehová, y su casa, y á Millo, y el muro de Jerusalem, y á Hasor, y Megiddo, y Gezer.
15 Und also verhielt sich's mit den Fronleuten, die der König Salomo aushob, zu bauen des HERRN Haus und sein Haus und Millo und die Mauer Jerusalems und Hazor und Megiddo und Geser.
16 Pharaoh, king of Egypt, came and took Gezer, burning it down and putting to death the Canaanites living in the town, and he gave it for a bride-offering to his daughter, Solomon's wife. ...
16 Pharaon, roi d'Égypte, était venu s'emparer de Guézer, l'avait incendiée, et avait tué les Cananéens qui habitaient dans la ville. Puis il l'avait donnée pour dot à sa fille, femme de Salomon.
16 [ghabh Forann rí na hÉigipte suas agus ghabh sé Geizir, chuir sé trí thine é agus bhásaigh a raibh de Chanánaigh ina gcónaí ann; ansin thug sé an chathair mar spré dá iníon, bean Sholaimh.
16 Faraón el rey de Egipto había subido y tomado á Gezer, y quemádola, y había muerto los Cananeos que habitaban la ciudad, y dádola en don á su hija la mujer de Salomón.
16 Denn Pharao, der König in Ägypten, war heraufgekommen und hatte Geser gewonnen und mit Feuer verbrannt und die Kanaaniter erwürgt, die in der Stadt wohnten, und hatte sie seiner Tochter, Salomos Weib, zum Geschenk gegeben.
17 ... and Solomon was the builder of Gezer and Beth-horon the lower,
17 Et Salomon bâtit Guézer, Beth Horon la basse,

19 And all the store-towns and the towns which Solomon had for his war-carriages and for his horsemen, and everything which it was his pleasure to put up in Jerusalem and in Lebanon and in all the land under his rule.
19 toutes les villes servant de magasins et lui appartenant, les villes pour les chars, les villes pour la cavalerie, et tout ce qu'il plut à Salomon de bâtir à Jérusalem, au Liban, et dans tout le pays dont il était le souverain.

19 Asimismo todas las ciudades donde Salomón tenía municiones, y las ciudades de los carros, y las ciudades de la gente de á caballo, y todo lo que Salomón deseó edificar en Jerusalem, en el Líbano, y en toda la tierra de su señorío.
19 und alle Städte der Kornhäuser, die Salomo hatte, und alle Städte der Wagen und die Städte der Reiter, und wozu er Lust hatte zu bauen in Jerusalem, im Libanon und im ganzen Lande seiner Herrschaft.
20 As for the rest of the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, who were not children of Israel;
20 Tout le peuple qui était resté des Amoréens, des Héthiens, des Phéréziens, des Héviens et des Jébusiens, ne faisant point partie des enfants d'Israël,
20 Gach ar mhair de na hAmóraigh, na Hitigh, na Pirizigh, na Hivigh, na Iabúsaigh, nárbh de chlann Iosrael iad;
20 A todos los pueblos que quedaron de los Amorrheos, Hetheos, Pherezeos, Heveos, Jebuseos, que no fueron de los hijos de Israel;
20 Und alles übrige Volk von den Amoritern, Hethitern, Pheresitern, Hevitern und Jebusitern, die nicht von den Kindern Israel waren,
21 Their children who were still in the land, and whom the children of Israel had not been able to put to complete destruction, them did Solomon put to forced work, to this day.
21 leurs descendants qui étaient restés après eux dans le pays et que les enfants d'Israël n'avaient pu dévouer par interdit, Salomon les leva comme esclaves de corvée, ce qu'ils ont été jusqu'à ce jour.

21 A sus hijos que quedaron en la tierra después de ellos, que los hijos de Israel no pudieron acabar, hizo Salomón que sirviesen con tributo hasta hoy.
21 derselben Kinder, die sie hinter sich übrigbleiben ließen im Lande, die die Kinder Israel nicht konnten verbannen: die machte Salomo zu Fronleuten bis auf diesen Tag.
22 But Solomon did not put the children of Israel to forced work; they were the men of war, his servants, his captains, and his chiefs, captains of his war-carriages and of his horsemen.
22 Mais Salomon n'employa point comme esclaves les enfants d'Israël; car ils étaient des hommes de guerre, ses serviteurs, ses chefs, ses officiers, les commandants de ses chars et de sa cavalerie.
22 Ach níor chuir Solamh aon duine de mhuintir Iosrael faoi dhaoirse; iadsan a bhí aige mar shaighdiúirí, mar oifigigh, mar cheannfoirt, mar chaptaein, mar cheannairí carbad, agus mar thaoisigh marcshlua.
22 Mas á ninguno de los hijos de Israel impuso Salomón servicio, sino que eran hombres de guerra, ó sus criados, ó sus príncipes, ó sus capitanes, ó comandantes de sus carros, ó su gente de á caballo.
22 Aber von den Kindern Israel machte er nicht Knechte, sondern ließ sie Kriegsleute und seine Knechte und Fürsten und Ritter und über seine Wagen und Reiter sein.
23 These were the chiefs of the overseers of Solomon's work, five hundred and fifty, in authority over the people who did the work.
23 Les chefs préposés par Salomon sur les travaux étaient au nombre de cinq cent cinquante, chargés de surveiller les ouvriers.

24 At that time Solomon made Pharaoh's daughter come up from the town of David to the house which he had made for her: then he made the Millo.
24 La fille de Pharaon monta de la cité de David dans sa maison que Salomon lui avait construite. Ce fut alors qu'il bâtit Millo.
24 Tar éis d'iníon Fhorainn dul ó Dhúnfort Dháiví go dtí an teach a thóg Solamh di féin, ansin a thóg sé an Mileo.
24 Y subió la hija de Faraón de la ciudad de David á su casa que Salomón le había edificado: entonces edificó él á Millo.
24 Und die Tochter Pharaos zog herauf von der Stadt Davids in ihr Haus, das er für sie gebaut hatte. Da baute er auch Millo.
25 Three times in the year it was Solomon's way to give burned offerings and peace-offerings on the altar he had made to the Lord, causing his fire-offering to go up on the altar before the Lord.
25 Salomon offrit trois fois dans l'année des holocaustes et des sacrifices d'actions de grâces sur l'autel qu'il avait bâti à l'Éternel, et il brûla des parfums sur celui qui était devant l'Éternel. Et il acheva la maison.
25 D'ofráladh Solamh íobairtí uileloiscthe agus íobairtí comaoineach trí huaire sa bhliain ar an altóir a thóg sé don Tiarna, agus dhódh sé túis don Tiarna, agus choinnigh sé slacht ar an Teampall. Solamh Ceannaí
25 Y ofrecía Salomón tres veces cada un año holocaustos y pacíficos sobre el altar que él edificó á Jehová, y quemaba perfumes sobre el que estaba delante de Jehová, después que la casa fué acabada.
25 Und Salomo opferte des Jahres dreimal Brandopfer und Dankopfer auf dem Altar, den er dem HERRN gebaut hatte, und räucherte auf ihm vor dem HERRN. Und ward also das Haus fertig.
26 And King Solomon made a sea-force of ships in Ezion-geber, by Eloth, on the Red Sea, in the land of Edom.
26 Le roi Salomon construisit des navires à Etsjon Guéber, près d'Éloth, sur les bords de la mer Rouge, dans le pays d'Édom.
26 Thóg Solamh rí cabhlach ag Eizión Geibir i gcóngar Éalat ar bhruach na Mara Rua i dtír Eadóm.
26 Hizo también el rey Salomón navíos en Ezión-geber, que es junto á Elath en la ribera del mar Bermejo, en la tierra de Edom.
26 Und Salomo machte auch Schiffe zu Ezeon-Geber, das bei Eloth liegt am Ufer des Schilfmeers im Lande der Edomiter.
27 Hiram sent his servants, who were experienced seamen, in the sea-force with Solomon's men.
27 Et Hiram envoya sur ces navires, auprès des serviteurs de Salomon, ses propres serviteurs, des matelots connaissant la mer.
27 Don chabhlach seo chuir Híorám fir dá chuid a bhí eolgaiseach ar chúrsaí mara chun seirbhís a dhéanamh le fir Sholaimh.
27 Y envió Hiram en ellos á sus siervos, marineros y diestros en la mar, con los siervos de Salomón:
27 Und Hiram sandte seine Knechte im Schiff, die gute Schiffsleute und auf dem Meer erfahren waren, mit den Knechten Salomos;
28 And they came to Ophir, where they got four hundred and twenty talents of gold, and took it back to King Solomon.
28 Ils allèrent à Ophir, et ils y prirent de l'or, quatre cent vingt talents, qu'ils apportèrent au roi Salomon.
