1 And when David had gone a little way past the top of the slope, Ziba, the servant of Mephibosheth, came to him, with two asses on which were two hundred cakes of bread and a hundred stems of dry grapes and a hundred summer fruits and a skin of wine.
1 Lorsque David eut un peu dépassé le sommet, voici, Tsiba, serviteur de Mephiboscheth, vint au-devant de lui avec deux ânes bâtés, sur lesquels il y avait deux cents pains, cent masses de raisins secs, cent de fruits d'été, et une outre de vin.
1 Nuair a bhí Dáiví imithe tamall gairid thar mhullach an tsléibhe, tháinig Zíbeá, searbhónta Mheirí Bál, ina araicis le dhá asal, diallaití orthu agus ualach orthu de dhá chéad builín aráin, céad crobhaing rísíní, céad de thorthaí an tsamhraidh, agus seithe fíona.
1 Y como David pasó un poco de la cumbre del monte, he aquí Siba, el criado de Mephi-boseth, que lo salía á recibir con un par de asnos enalbardados, y sobre ellos doscientos panes, y cien hilos de pasas, y cien panes de higos secos, y un cuero de vino.
1 Und da David ein wenig von der Höhe gegangen war, siehe, da begegnete ihm Ziba, der Diener Mephiboseths, mit einem Paar Esel, gesattelt, darauf waren zweihundert Brote und hundert Rosinenkuchen und hundert Feigenkuchen und ein Krug Wein.
2 And David said to Ziba, What is your reason for this? And Ziba said, The asses are for the use of the king's people, and the bread and the fruit are food for the young men; and the wine is for drink for those who are overcome by weariness in the waste land.
2 Le roi dit à Tsiba: Que veux-tu faire de cela? Et Tsiba répondit: Les ânes serviront de monture à la maison du roi, le pain et les fruits d'été sont pour nourrir les jeunes gens, et le vin pour désaltérer ceux qui seront fatigués dans le désert.
2 Dúirt an rí le Zíbeá: “Cá rachaidh tú leo sin?” D'fhreagair Zíbeá: “Do theaghlach an rí le marcaíocht orthu na hasail; do na saighdiúirí le hithe an t‑arán agus na torthaí samhraidh; le hól ag an mhuintir a éireoidh lag san fhásach an fíon.”
2 Y dijo el rey á Siba: ¿Qué es esto? Y Siba respondió: Los asnos son para la familia del rey, en que suban; los panes y la pasa para los criados, que coman; y el vino, para que beban los que se cansaren en el desierto.
2 Da sprach der König zu Ziba: Was willst du damit machen? Ziba sprach: Die Esel sollen für das Haus des Königs sein, darauf zu reiten, und die Brote und Feigenkuchen für die Diener, zu essen, und der Wein, zu trinken, wenn sie müde werden in der Wüste.
3 And the king said, And where is your master's son? And Ziba said, He is still at Jerusalem: for he said, Today Israel will give back to me the kingdom of my father.
3 Le roi dit: Où est le fils de ton maître? Et Tsiba répondit au roi: Voici, il est resté à Jérusalem, car il a dit: Aujourd'hui la maison d'Israël me rendra le royaume de mon père.
3 “Agus cá bhfuil mac do mháistir?” arsan rí. D'fhreagair Zíbeá an rí: “Féach, d'fhan sé in Iarúsailéim, mar a deir sé: ‘Tabharfaidh teaghlach Iosrael ríocht m'athar ar ais dom inniu.’ ”
3 Y dijo el rey: ¿Dónde está el hijo de tu señor? Y Siba respondió al rey: He aquí él se ha quedado en Jerusalem, porque ha dicho: Hoy me devolverá la casa de Israel el reino de mi padre.
3 Der König sprach: Wo ist der Sohn deines Herrn? Ziba sprach zum König: Siehe, er blieb zu Jerusalem; denn er sprach: Heute wird mir das Haus Israel meines Vaters Reich wiedergeben.
4 Then the king said to Ziba, Truly everything which was Mephibosheth's is yours. And Ziba said, I give honour to my lord, may I have grace in your eyes, my lord, O king!
4 Le roi dit à Tsiba: Voici, tout ce qui appartient à Mephiboscheth est à toi. Et Tsiba dit: Je me prosterne! Que je trouve grâce à tes yeux, ô roi mon seigneur!
4 Ansin dúirt an rí le Zíbeá: “Is leat anois cuid Mheirí Bál go léir.” Dúirt Zíbeá: “Umhlaím duit. Gura fiú mé d'fhabhar a fháil i gcónaí, a thiarna mo rí!”
4 Entonces el rey dijo á Siba: He aquí, sea tuyo todo lo que tiene Mephi-boseth. Y respondió Siba inclinándose: Rey señor mío, halle yo gracia delante de ti.
4 Der König sprach zu Ziba: Siehe, es soll dein sein alles, was Mephiboseth hat. Ziba sprach: Ich neige mich; laß mich Gnade finden vor dir, mein Herr König.
5 And when King David came to Bahurim, a man of Saul's family named Shimei, the son of Gera, came out from there, calling curses after him.
5 David était arrivé jusqu'à Bachurim. Et voici, il sortit de là un homme de la famille et de la maison de Saül, nommé Schimeï, fils de Guéra. Il s'avança en prononçant des malédictions,
5 Nuair a tháinig Dáiví a fhad le Bachúraím, amach le fear den sliocht céanna ónar shíolraigh clann Shóil. Simeí mac Ghéará ab ainm dó. Agus ag teacht dó bhí sé ag mallachtaigh leis
5 Y vino el rey David hasta Bahurim: y he aquí, salía uno de la familia de la casa de Saúl, el cual se llamaba Semei, hijo de Gera; y salía maldiciendo,
5 Da aber der König bis gen Bahurim kam, siehe, da ging ein Mann daselbst heraus, vom Geschlecht des Hauses Sauls, der hieß Simei, der Sohn Geras; der ging heraus und fluchte
6 And he sent stones at David and at all the king's servants and at all the people and at all the men of war by his side, on the right hand and on the left.
6 et il jeta des pierres à David et à tous les serviteurs du roi David, tandis que tout le peuple et tous les hommes vaillants étaient à la droite et à la gauche du roi.
6 agus ag caitheamh cloch le Dáiví rí agus lena chuid oifigeach go léir, cé go raibh an t‑arm ar fad agus na gaiscígh uile thart timpeall ar an rí, ar dheis agus ar chlé.
6 Y echando piedras contra David, y contra todos los siervos del rey David: y todo el pueblo, y todos los hombres valientes estaban á su diestra y á su siniestra.
6 und warf David mit Steinen und alle Knechte des Königs David. Denn alles Volk und alle Gewaltigen waren zu seiner Rechten und zur Linken.
7 And Shimei said, with curses, Be gone, be gone, you man of blood, you good-for-nothing:
7 Schimeï parlait ainsi en le maudissant: Va-t'en, va-t'en, homme de sang, méchant homme!
7 Seo mar a bhí sé ag mallachtaigh: “Beir as, beir as, a fhir na fola, a chladhaire!
7 Y decía Semei, maldiciéndole: Sal, sal, varón de sangres, y hombre de Belial;
7 So sprach aber Simei, da er fluchte: Heraus, heraus, du Bluthund, du heilloser Mann!
8 The Lord has sent punishment on you for all the blood of the family of Saul, whose kingdom you have taken; and the Lord has given the kingdom to Absalom, your son: now you yourself are taken in your evil, because you are a man of blood.
8 L'Éternel fait retomber sur toi tout le sang de la maison de Saül, dont tu occupais le trône, et l'Éternel a livré le royaume entre les mains d'Absalom, ton fils; et te voilà malheureux comme tu le mérites, car tu es un homme de sang!
8 Bhain an Tiarna díoltas asat i bhfuil theaghlach Shóil ar ghlac tú a fhlaitheas ort féin, agus tá an Tiarna tar éis an flaitheas céanna a thabhairt i láimh Aibseálóm do mhac. Seo chugat anois uair na cinniúna, a fhir na fola.”
8 Jehová te ha dado el pago de toda la sangre de la casa de Saúl, en lugar del cual tú has reinado: mas Jehová ha entregado el reino en mano de tu hijo Absalom; y hete aquí sorprendido en tu maldad, porque eres varón de sangres.
8 Der HERR hat dir vergolten alles Blut des Hauses Sauls, daß du an seiner Statt bist König geworden. Nun hat der HERR das Reich gegeben in die Hand deines Sohnes Absalom; und siehe, nun steckst du in deinem Unglück; denn du bist ein Bluthund.
9 Then Abishai, the son of Zeruiah, said to the king, Is this dead dog to go on cursing my lord the king? let me go over and take off his head.
9 Alors Abischaï, fils de Tseruja, dit au roi: Pourquoi ce chien mort maudit-il le roi mon seigneur? Laisse-moi, je te prie, aller lui couper la tête.
9 Dúirt Aibísí mac Zarúá leis an rí: “An bhfuilimid chun ligean don mhadra marbh seo bheith ag mallachtaigh ar mo thiarna, an rí? Lig dom dul anonn agus an ceann a bhaint de.”
9 Entonces Abisai hijo de Sarvia, dijo al rey: ¿Por qué maldice este perro muerto á mi señor el rey? Yo te ruego que me dejes pasar, y quitaréle la cabeza.
9 Aber Abisai, der Zeruja Sohn, sprach zu dem König: Sollte dieser tote Hund meinem Herrn, dem König, fluchen? Ich will hingehen und ihm den Kopf abreißen.
10 And the king said, What have I to do with you, you sons of Zeruiah? Let him go on cursing, for the Lord has said, Put a curse on David, and who then may say, Why have you done so?
10 Mais le roi dit: Qu'ai-je affaire avec vous, fils de Tseruja? S'il maudit, c'est que l'Éternel lui a dit: Maudis David! Qui donc lui dira: Pourquoi agis-tu ainsi?
10 Ach d'fhreagair an rí: “Cá mbaineann sé liomsa agus libhse, a mhaca Zarúá. Má tá sé ag mallachtaigh mar go ndúirt an Tiarna leis: ‘Cuir mallacht ar Dháiví,’
10 Y el rey respondió: ¿Qué tengo yo con vosotros, hijos de Sarvia? El maldice así, porque Jehová le ha dicho que maldiga á David; ¿quién pues le dirá: Por qué lo haces así?
10 Der König sprach: Ihr Kinder der Zeruja, was habe ich mit euch zu schaffen? Laßt ihn fluchen; denn der HERR hat's ihn geheißen: Fluche David! Wer kann nun sagen: Warum tust du also?
11 And David said to Abishai and to all his servants, You see how my son, the offspring of my body, has made designs against my life: how much more then may this Benjamite do so? Let him be, and let him go on cursing; for the Lord has given him orders.
11 Et David dit à Abischaï et à tous ses serviteurs: Voici, mon fils, qui est sorti de mes entrailles, en veut à ma vie; à plus forte raison ce Benjamite! Laissez-le, et qu'il maudisse, car l'Éternel le lui a dit.
11 cén ceart atá ag aon duine a rá: ‘Cad chuige a ndearna tú seo?”’ Dúirt Dáiví le hAibísí agus lena chuid oifigeach go léir: “Ar ndóigh tá mo mhac féin, síol mo choirp, ag iarraidh mé a mharú anois. Cá hionadh, mar sin, gur mó a bheadh an Biniáimineach seo á iarraidh? Lig do a bheith ag mallachtaigh leis, más é sin an rud a dúirt an Tiarna leis.
11 Y dijo David á Abisai y á todos sus siervos: He aquí, mi hijo que ha salido de mis entrañas, acecha á mi vida: ¿cuánto más ahora un hijo de Benjamín? Dejadle que maldiga, que Jehová se lo ha dicho.
11 Und David sprach zu Abisai und zu allen seinen Knechten: Siehe, mein Sohn, der von meinem Leibe gekommen ist, steht mir nach meinem Leben; warum nicht auch jetzt der Benjaminiter? Laßt ihn, daß er fluche; denn der HERR hat's ihn geheißen.
12 It may be that the Lord will take note of my wrongs, and give me back good in answer to his cursing of me today.
12 Peut-être l'Éternel regardera-t-il mon affliction, et me fera-t-il du bien en retour des malédictions d'aujourd'hui.
12 B'fhéidir go mbreathnódh an Tiarna ar [m'anró] agus an mhaith a chur i mo threo in éiric a mhallachta inniu.”
12 Quizá mirará Jehová á mi aflicción, y me dará Jehová bien por sus maldiciones de hoy.
12 Vielleicht wird der HERR mein Elend ansehen und mir mit Gutem vergelten sein heutiges Fluchen.
13 So David and his men went on their way: and Shimei went by the hillside parallel with them, cursing and sending stones and dust at him.
13 David et ses gens continuèrent leur chemin. Et Schimeï marchait sur le flanc de la montagne près de David, et, en marchant, il maudissait, il jetait des pierres contre lui, il faisait voler la poussière.
13 Chuir Dáiví agus a chuid fear chun bealaigh mar sin. Ach lean Simeí air ar feadh an tsléibhe ar a aghaidh anonn ag mallachtaigh ar an mbealach agus ag caitheamh cloch agus cré leis.
13 Y como David y los suyos iban por el camino, Semei iba por el lado del monte delante de él, andando y maldiciendo, y arrojando piedras delante de él, y esparciendo polvo.
13 Also ging David mit seinen Leuten des Weges; Aber Simei ging an des Berges Seite her ihm gegenüber und fluchte und warf mit Steinen nach ihm und besprengte ihn mit Erdklößen.
14 And the king and his people came tired to Jordan, and took their rest there.
14 Le roi et tout le peuple qui était avec lui arrivèrent à Ajephim, et là ils se reposèrent.
14 Shroich an rí agus an mhuintir go léir a bhí in éineacht leis [an Iordáin] agus an-tuirse orthu, agus ligeadar a scíth ansiúd. Aibseálóm in Iarúsailéim
14 Y el rey y todo el pueblo que con él estaba, llegaron fatigados, y descansaron allí.
14 Und der König kam hinein mit allem Volk, das bei ihm war, müde und erquickte sich daselbst.
15 And Absalom and the men of Israel came to Jerusalem, and Ahithophel was with him.
15 Absalom et tout le peuple, les hommes d'Israël, étaient entrés dans Jérusalem; et Achitophel était avec Absalom.
15 Tháinig Aibseálóm lena lucht leanúna go léir de chlann Iosrael isteach in Iarúsailéim; bhí Aichítifeil ina theannta.
15 Y Absalom y todo el pueblo, los varones de Israel, entraron en Jerusalem, y con él Achitophel.
15 Aber Absalom und alles Volk der Männer Israels kamen gen Jerusalem und Ahithophel mit ihm.
16 Then Hushai the Archite, David's friend, came to Absalom and said, Long life to the king, long life to the king!
16 Lorsque Huschaï, l'Arkien, ami de David, fut arrivé auprès d'Absalom, il lui dit: Vive le roi! vive le roi!
16 Nuair a tháinig Húisí an tAircíoch, cara Dháiví, i láthair Aibseálóm, dúirt sé: “Fad ar shaol an rí! Fad ar shaol an rí!”
16 Y acaeció luego, que como Husai Arachîta amigo de David hubo llegado á Absalom, díjole Husai: Viva el rey, viva el rey.
16 Da aber Husai, der Arachiter, Davids Freund, zu Absalom hineinkam, sprach er zu Absalom: Glück zu, Herr König! Glück zu, Herr König!
17 And Absalom said, Is this your love for your friend? why did you not go with your friend?
17 Et Absalom dit à Huschaï: Voilà donc l'attachement que tu as pour ton ami! Pourquoi n'es-tu pas allé avec ton ami?
17 Agus dúirt Aibseálóm le Húisí: “An mar sin atá ag do dhílseacht do do chara? Cén fáth nár imigh tú le do chara?”
17 Y Absalom dijo á Husai: ¿Este es tu agradecimiento para con tu amigo? ¿por qué no fuiste con tu amigo?
17 Absalom aber sprach zu Husai: Ist das deine Barmherzigkeit an deinem Freunde? Warum bist du nicht mit deinem Freunde gezogen?
18 And Hushai said to Absalom, Not so; I am for that man whom the Lord and this people and all the men of Israel have taken as king, and I will take my place with him.
18 Huschaï répondit à Absalom: C'est que je veux être à celui qu'ont choisi l'Éternel et tout ce peuple et tous les hommes d'Israël, et c'est avec lui que je veux rester.
18 Agus dúirt Húisí le hAibseálóm: “Ní mar sin atá. Ach an té a thogh an Tiarna agus an pobal seo agus muintir Iosrael go léir is aigesean a bheidh mise, agus is leis-sean a fhanfaidh mé.
18 Y Husai respondió á Absalom: No: antes al que eligiere Jehová y este pueblo y todos los varones de Israel, de aquél seré yo, y con aquél quedaré.
18 Husai aber sprach zu Absalom: Nicht also, sondern welchen der HERR erwählt und dies Volk und alle Männer in Israel, des will ich sein und bei ihm bleiben.
19 And more than this! where is my place as a servant? is it not before his son? as I have been your father's servant, so will I be yours.
19 D'ailleurs, qui servirai-je? Ne sera-ce pas son fils? Comme j'ai servi ton père, ainsi je te servirai.
19 Agus thairis sin, cé dó a ndéanfainn seirbhís? Cé eile ach dá mhac? Déanfaidh mé seirbhís duitse faoi mar a rinne mé do d'athair.”
19 ¿Y á quién había yo de servir? ¿no es á su hijo? Como he servido delante de tu padre, así seré delante de ti.
19 Zum andern, wem sollte ich dienen? Sollte ich nicht vor seinem Sohn dienen? Wie ich vor deinem Vater gedient habe, so will ich auch vor dir sein.
20 Then Absalom said to Ahithophel, Give your opinion now, what are we to do?
20 Absalom dit à Achitophel: Consultez ensemble; qu'avons-nous à faire?
20 Agus dúirt Aibseálóm le hAichítifeil: “Déan do mhachnamh go maith; cad tá le déanamh againn?”
20 Entonces dijo Absalom á Achitophel: Consultad qué haremos.
20 Und Absalom sprach zu Ahithophel: Ratet zu, was sollen wir tun?
21 And Ahithophel said to Absalom, Go in to your father's women who are here looking after his house; then all Israel will have the news that you are hated by your father, and the hands of your supporters will be strong.
21 Et Achitophel dit à Absalom: Va vers les concubines que ton père a laissées pour garder la maison; ainsi tout Israël saura que tu t'es rendu odieux à ton père, et les mains de tous ceux qui sont avec toi se fortifieront.
21 Dúirt Aichítifeil le hAibseálóm: “Luigh leis na leannáin dá chuid a d'fhág d'athair i bhfeighil a thí; ansin beidh a fhios ag Iosrael go léir go mbeidh an ghráin ag d'athair ort, agus beidh breis misnigh ag do lucht tacaíochta go léir.”
21 Y Achitophel dijo á Absalom: Entra á las concubinas de tu padre, que él dejó para guardar la casa; y todo el pueblo de Israel oirá que te has hecho aborrecible á tu padre, y así se esforzarán las manos de todos los que están contigo.
21 Ahithophel sprach zu Absalom: Gehe hinein zu den Kebsweibern deines Vaters, die er zurückgelassen hat, das Haus zu bewahren, so wird das ganze Israel hören, daß du dich bei deinem Vater hast stinkend gemacht, und wird aller Hand, die bei dir sind, desto kühner werden.
22 So they put up the tent for Absalom on the top of the house, and Absalom went in to his father's women before the eyes of all Israel.
22 On dressa pour Absalom une tente sur le toit, et Absalom alla vers les concubines de son père, aux yeux de tout Israël.
22 Shuíodar both dá bhrí sin d'Aibseálóm ar dhíon an tí agus ghabh Aibseálóm isteach chun leannáin a athar i bhfianaise Iosrael go léir.
22 Entonces pusieron una tienda á Absalom sobre el terrado, y entró Absalom á las concubinas de su padre, en ojos de todo Israel.
22 Da machten sie Absalom eine Hütte auf dem Dache, und Absalom ging hinein zu den Kebsweibern seines Vaters vor den Augen des ganzen Israel.
23 In those days the opinions of Ahithophel were valued as highly as if through him a man might get direction from God; so were they valued by David as much as by Absalom.
23 Les conseils donnés en ce temps-là par Achitophel avaient autant d'autorité que si l'on eût consulté Dieu lui-même. Il en était ainsi de tous les conseils d'Achitophel, soit pour David, soit pour Absalom.
