1 Now after this, Absalom got for himself a carriage and horses, and fifty runners to go before him.

1 Und es begab sich darnach, daß Absalom ließ sich machen einen Wagen und Rosse und fünfzig Mann, die seine Trabanten waren.
2 And Absalom got up early, morning after morning, and took his place at the side of the public meeting-place: and when any man had a cause which had to come to the king to be judged, then Absalom, crying out to him, said, What is your town? and he would say, Your servant is of one of the tribes of Israel.
2 Il se levait de bon matin, et se tenait au bord du chemin de la porte. Et chaque fois qu'un homme ayant une contestation se rendait vers le roi pour obtenir un jugement, Absalom l'appelait, et disait: De quelle ville es-tu? Lorsqu'il avait répondu: Je suis d'une telle tribu d'Israël,

2 Y levantábase Absalom de mañana, y poníase á un lado del camino de la puerta; y á cualquiera que tenía pleito y venía al rey á juicio, Absalom le llamaba á sí, y decíale: ¿De qué ciudad eres? Y él respondía: Tu siervo es de una de las tribus de Israel.
2 Auch machte sich Absalom des Morgens früh auf und trat an den Weg bei dem Tor. Und wenn jemand einen Handel hatte, daß er zum König vor Gericht kommen sollte, rief ihn Absalom zu sich und sprach: Aus welcher Stadt bist du? Wenn dann der sprach: Dein Knecht ist aus der Stämme Israels einem,
3 And Absalom would say to him, See, your cause is true and right; but no man has been named by the king to give you a hearing.
3 Absalom lui disait: Vois, ta cause est bonne et juste; mais personne de chez le roi ne t'écoutera.

3 Entonces Absalom le decía: Mira, tus palabras son buenas y justas: mas no tienes quien te oiga por el rey.
3 so sprach Absalom zu ihm: Siehe, deine Sache ist recht und schlecht; aber du hast keinen, der dich hört, beim König.
4 And more than this, Absalom said, If only I was made judge in the land, so that every man who has any cause or question might come to me, and I would give a right decision for him!
4 Absalom disait: Qui m'établira juge dans le pays? Tout homme qui aurait une contestation et un procès viendrait à moi, et je lui ferais justice.
4 Agus leanadh Aibseálóm air: “Uch nach gceapfaí mé i mo bhreitheamh sa tír! Ansin aon duine a mbeadh cúis nó caingean aige, d'fhéadfadh sé teacht chugamsa agus gheobhadh sé ceart uaim.”
4 Y decía Absalom: ¡Quién me pusiera por juez en la tierra, para que viniesen á mí todos los que tienen pleito ó negocio, que yo les haría justicia!
4 Und Absalom sprach: O, wer setzt mich zum Richter im Lande, daß jedermann zu mir käme, der eine Sache und Gerichtshandel hat, daß ich ihm hülfe!
5 And if any man came near to give him honour, he took him by the hand and gave him a kiss.
5 Et quand quelqu'un s'approchait pour se prosterner devant lui, il lui tendait la main, le saisissait et l'embrassait.
5 Nuair a thagadh duine chuige le hómós a thabhairt dó, shíneadh sé amach a lámh, bheireadh greim air agus phógadh é.
5 Y acontecía que, cuando alguno se llegaba para inclinarse á él, él extendía su mano, y lo tomaba, y lo besaba.
5 Und wenn jemand sich zu ihm tat, daß er wollte vor ihm niederfallen, so reckte er seine Hand aus und ergriff ihn und küßte ihn.
6 And this Absalom did to everyone in Israel who came to the king to have his cause judged: so Absalom, like a thief, took away the hearts of the men of Israel.
6 Absalom agissait ainsi à l'égard de tous ceux d'Israël, qui se rendaient vers le roi pour demander justice. Et Absalom gagnait le coeur des gens d'Israël.
6 Is mar sin a dhéanadh Aibseálóm leis na hIosraelaigh go léir a thagadh chuig an rí ag tagra a gcirt, agus mheall Aibseálóm croí fhir Iosrael ar an tslí sin.
6 Y de esta manera hacía con todo Israel que venía al rey á juicio: y así robaba Absalom el corazón de los de Israel.
6 Auf diese Weise tat Absalom dem ganzen Israel, wenn sie kamen vor Gericht zum König, und stahl also das Herz der Männer Israels.
7 Now at the end of four years, Absalom said to the king, Let me go to Hebron and give effect to the oath which I made to the Lord:
7 Au bout de quarante ans, Absalom dit au roi: Permets que j'aille à Hébron, pour accomplir le voeu que j'ai fait à l'Éternel.
7 Tar éis ceithre bliana dúirt Aibseálóm leis an rí: “Lig dom dul go Heabrón chun an mhóid a thug mé don Tiarna a chomhlíonadh;
7 Y al cabo de cuarenta años aconteció que Absalom dijo al rey: Yo te ruego me permitas que vaya á Hebrón, á pagar mi voto que he prometido á Jehová:
7 Nach vierzig Jahren sprach Absalom zum König: Ich will hingehen und mein Gelübde zu Hebron ausrichten, das ich dem HERRN gelobt habe.
8 For while I was living in Geshur in Aram, your servant made an oath, saying, If ever the Lord lets me come back to Jerusalem, I will give him worship in Hebron.
8 Car ton serviteur a fait un voeu, pendant que je demeurais à Gueschur en Syrie; j'ai dit: Si l'Éternel me ramène à Jérusalem, je servirai l'Éternel.
8 mar nuair a bhí mé i nGisiúr in Arám, thug do shearbhónta an mhóid seo: ‘Má thugann an Tiarna ar ais go Iarúsailéim mé,’ arsa mise, ‘tabharfaidh mé ómós don Tiarna i Heabrón.’ ”
8 Porque tu siervo hizo voto cuando estaba en Gessur en Siria, diciendo: Si Jehová me volviere á Jerusalem, yo serviré á Jehová.
8 Denn dein Knecht tat ein Gelübde, da ich zu Gessur in Syrien wohnte, und sprach: Wenn mich der HERR wieder gen Jerusalem bringt, so will ich dem HERRN einen Gottesdienst tun.
9 And the king said to him, Go in peace. So he got up and went to Hebron.
9 Le roi lui dit: Va en paix. Et Absalom se leva et partit pour Hébron.
9 Dúirt an rí leis: “Imigh faoi shíocháin!” agus d'imigh sé leis agus tháinig go Heabrón.
9 Y el rey dijo: Ve en paz. Y él se levantó, y se fué á Hebrón.
9 Der König sprach: Gehe hin mit Frieden. Und er machte sich auf und ging gen Hebron.
10 But Absalom at the same time sent watchers through all the tribes of Israel to say, At the sound of the horn you are to say, Absalom is king in Hebron.
10 Absalom envoya des espions dans toutes les tribus d'Israël, pour dire: Quand vous entendrez le son de la trompette, vous direz: Absalom règne à Hébron.
10 Chuir Aibseálóm teachtairí ar fud treibheanna Iosrael go léir á rá: “A luaithe a chloisfidh sibh glór an trumpa, abraigí: ‘Tá Aibseálóm ina rí i Heabrón!’ ”
10 Empero envió Absalom espías por todas las tribus de Israel, diciendo: Cuando oyereis el sonido de la trompeta, diréis: Absalom reina en Hebrón.
10 Absalom aber hatte Kundschafter ausgesandt in alle Stämme Israels und lassen sagen: Wenn ihr der Posaune Schall hören werdet, so sprecht: Absalom ist König geworden zu Hebron.
11 And with Absalom, at his request, went two hundred men from Jerusalem, who were completely unconscious of his designs.
11 Deux cents hommes de Jérusalem, qui avaient été invités, accompagnèrent Absalom; et ils le firent en toute simplicité, sans rien savoir.

11 Y fueron con Absalom doscientos hombres de Jerusalem por él convidados, los cuales iban en su sencillez, sin saber nada.
11 Es gingen aber mit Absalom zweihundert Mann von Jerusalem, die geladen waren; aber sie gingen in ihrer Einfalt und wußten nichts um die Sache.
12 And Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, one of David's helpers, from Giloh his town, while he was making the offerings. And the design against David became strong, for more and more people were joined to Absalom.
12 Pendant qu'Absalom offrait les sacrifices, il envoya chercher à la ville de Guilo Achitophel, le Guilonite, conseiller de David. La conjuration devint puissante, et le peuple était de plus en plus nombreux auprès d'Absalom.
12 Chuir Aibseálóm fios ar Aichítifeil, an Gíolonach, comhairleoir Dháiví ó chathair Ghíolo [agus bhí sé ina theannta] agus é ag ofráil na n‑íobairtí. Neartaigh an chomhcheilg agus chuaigh lucht tacaíochta Aibseálóm i neart. Teitheann Dáiví
12 También envió Absalom por Achitophel Gilonita, del consejo de David, á Gilo su ciudad, mientras hacía sus sacrificios. Y la conjuración vino á ser grande, pues se iba aumentando el pueblo con Absalom.
12 Absalom aber sandte auch nach Ahithophel, dem Giloniten, Davids Rat, aus seiner Stadt Gilo. Da er nun die Opfer tat, ward der Bund stark, und das Volk lief zu und mehrte sich mit Absalom.
13 And one came to David and said, The hearts of the men of Israel have gone after Absalom.
13 Quelqu'un vint informer David, et lui dit: Le coeur des hommes d'Israël s'est tourné vers Absalom.
13 Tháinig teachtaire chuig Dáiví agus dúirt leis: “Tá lé ag fir Iosrael le hAibseálóm anois.”
13 Y vino el aviso á David, diciendo: El corazón de todo Israel va tras Absalom.
13 Da kam einer, der sagte es David an und sprach: Das Herz jedermanns in Israel folgt Absalom nach.
14 And David said to all his servants who were with him at Jerusalem, Come, let us go in flight, or not one of us will be safe from Absalom: let us go without loss of time, or he will overtake us quickly and send evil on us, and put the town to the sword.
14 Et David dit à tous ses serviteurs qui étaient avec lui à Jérusalem: Levez-vous, fuyons, car il n'y aura point de salut pour nous devant Absalom. Hâtez-vous de partir; sinon, il ne tarderait pas à nous atteindre, et il nous précipiterait dans le malheur et frapperait la ville du tranchant de l'épée.
14 Ar an ábhar sin dúirt Dáiví lena chuid oifigeach go léir a bhí in éineacht leis in Iarúsailéim: “As go brách linn; teithimis, nó ní éalóimid choíche ó Aibseálóm. Imígí le teann deabhaidh, ar eagla go mbéarfadh sé orainn le barr luais agus an bua a fháil orainn agus bás le faobhar a thabhairt ar mhuintir na cathrach.”
14 Entonces David dijo á todos sus siervos que estaban con él en Jerusalem: Levantaos, y huyamos, porque no podremos escapar delante de Absalom; daos priesa á partir, no sea que apresurándose él nos alcance, y arroje el mal sobre nosotros, y hiera la ciudad á filo de espada.
14 David sprach aber zu allen seinen Knechten, die bei ihm waren zu Jerusalem: Auf, laßt uns fliehen! denn hier wird kein entrinnen sein vor Absalom; eilet, daß wir gehen, daß er uns nicht übereile und ergreife uns und treibe ein Unglück auf uns und schlage die Stadt mit der Schärfe des Schwerts.
15 And the king's servants said to the king, See, your servants are ready to do whatever the king says is to be done.
15 Les serviteurs du roi lui dirent: Tes serviteurs feront tout ce que voudra mon seigneur le roi.
15 D'fhreagair oifigigh an rí: “Féach, táimidne, do shearbhóntaí, réidh le déanamh de réir cibé ní a bheartóidh mo thiarna, an rí.”
15 Y los siervos del rey dijeron al rey: He aquí, tus siervos están prestos á todo lo que nuestro señor el rey eligiere.
15 Da sprachen die Knechte des Königs zu ihm: Was mein Herr, der König, erwählt, siehe, hier sind deine Knechte.
16 So the king went out, taking with him all the people of his house, but for ten of his women, who were to take care of the house.
16 Le roi sortit, et toute sa maison le suivait, et il laissa dix concubines pour garder la maison.
16 D'imigh an rí agus a theaghlach go léir ina dhiaidh agus d'fhág sé deichniúr leannán i bhfeighil an pháláis.
16 El rey entonces salió, con toda su familia en pos de él. Y dejó el rey diez mujeres concubinas para que guardasen la casa.
16 Und der König zog hinaus und sein ganzes Haus ihm nach. Er ließ aber zehn Kebsweiber zurück, das Haus zu bewahren.
17 And the king went out, and all his servants went after him, and made a stop at the Far House.
17 Le roi sortit, et tout le peuple le suivait, et ils s'arrêtèrent à la dernière maison.
17 D'imigh an rí de chois agus a mhuintir go léir ina dhiaidh agus stad siad ag an teach deiridh.
17 Salió pues el rey con todo el pueblo que le seguía, y paráronse en un lugar distante.
17 Und da der König und alles Volk, das ihm nachfolgte, hinauskamen, blieben sie stehen am äußersten Hause.
18 And all the people went on by his side; and all the Cherethites and all the Pelethites and all the men of Ittai of Gath, six hundred men who came after him from Gath, went on before the king.
18 Tous ses serviteurs, tous les Kéréthiens et tous les Péléthiens, passèrent à ses côtés; et tous les Gathiens, au nombre de six cents hommes, venus de Gath à sa suite, passèrent devant le roi.
18 Ghabh a oifigigh go léir thairis, agus ghabh na Ceiréitigh go léir, agus na Peiléitigh go léir, agus gach duine den sé chéad Giteach a lean é ó Ghat, ar aghaidh roimh an rí.
18 Y todos sus siervos pasaban á su lado, con todos los Ceretheos y Peletheos; y todos los Getheos, seiscientos hombres que habían venido á pie desde Gath, iban delante del rey.
18 Und alle seine Knechte gingen an ihm vorüber; dazu alle Krether und Plether und alle Gathiter, sechshundert Mann, die von Gath ihm nachgefolgt waren, gingen an dem König vorüber.
19 Then the king said to Ittai the Gittite, Why are you coming with us? go back and keep with the king: for you are a man of another country, you are far from the land of your birth.
19 Le roi dit à Ittaï de Gath: Pourquoi viendrais-tu aussi avec nous? Retourne, et reste avec le roi, car tu es étranger, et même tu as été emmené de ton pays.
19 Dúirt an rí le hIotaí an Giteach: “Cén fáth a bhfuil tusa ag teacht linne? Fill ar ais agus fan in éineacht leis an rí mar is coimhthíoch thú, agus deoraí ó do thír féin chomh maith.
19 Y dijo el rey á Ittai Getheo: ¿Para qué vienes tú también con nosotros? vuélvete y quédate con el rey; porque tú eres extranjero, y desterrado también de tu lugar.
19 Und der König sprach zu Itthai, dem Gathiter: Warum gehst du auch mit uns? Kehre um und bleibe bei dem König; denn du bist hier fremd und von deinem Ort gezogen hierher.
20 It was only yesterday you came to us; why then am I to make you go up and down with us? for I have to go where I may; go back then, and take your countrymen with you, and may the Lord's mercy and good faith be with you.
20 Tu es arrivé d'hier, et aujourd'hui je te ferais errer avec nous çà et là, quand je ne sais moi-même où je vais! Retourne, et emmène tes frères avec toi. Que l'Éternel use envers toi de bonté et de fidélité!
20 Níor tháinig tú ach inné, agus an amhlaidh a thabharfainn ar guardal inniu thú inár dteannta, agus gan fhios agam féin cén treo? Fill ar ais, tabhair do mhuintir leat agus [go raibh an Tiarna] buanchineálta dílis leat.”
20 ¿Ayer viniste, y téngote de hacer hoy que mudes lugar para ir con nosotros? Yo voy como voy: tú vuélvete, y haz volver á tus hermanos: en ti haya misericordia y verdad.
20 Gestern bist du gekommen, und heute sollte ich dich mit uns hin und her ziehen lassen? Denn ich will gehen, wohin ich gehen kann. Kehre um und deine Brüder mit dir; dir widerfahre Barmherzigkeit und Treue.
21 And Ittai the Gittite in answer said, By the living Lord, and by the life of my lord the king, in whatever place my lord the king may be, for life or death, there will your servant be.
21 Ittaï répondit au roi, et dit: L'Éternel est vivant et mon seigneur le roi est vivant! au lieu où sera mon seigneur le roi, soit pour mourir, soit pour vivre, là aussi sera ton serviteur.
21 D'fhreagair Iotaí an rí: “Dar an Tiarna beo, agus dar anam mo thiarna an rí, cibé áit ina mbeidh mo thiarna an rí, más beo, más marbh dó, is ann a bheidh do shearbhónta chomh maith.”
21 Y respondió Ittai al rey, diciendo: Vive Dios, y vive mi señor el rey, que, ó para muerte ó para vida, donde mi señor el rey estuviere, allí estará también tu siervo.
21 Itthai antwortete und sprach: So wahr der HERR lebt, und so wahr mein König lebt, an welchem Ort mein Herr, der König, sein wird, es gerate zum Tod oder zum Leben, da wird dein Knecht auch sein.
22 And David said to Ittai, Go forward, then. And Ittai the Gittite went on, with all his men and all the little ones he had with him.
22 David dit alors à Ittaï: Va, passe! Et Ittaï de Gath passa, avec tous ses gens et tous les enfants qui étaient avec lui.
22 “Ar aghaidh leat tharainn, más ea,” arsa Dáiví le hIotaí. Ghabh Iotaí an Giteach ar aghaidh lena chuid fear go léir agus na miondaoine go léir a lean é.
22 Entonces David dijo á Ittai: Ven pues, y pasa. Y pasó Ittai Getheo, y todos sus hombres, y toda su familia.
22 David sprach zu Itthai: So komm und gehe mit. Also ging Itthai, der Gathiter, und alle seine Männer und der ganze Haufe Kinder, die mit ihm waren.
23 And there was great weeping in all the country when all the people went through; and the king himself was waiting in the Kidron valley and all the people went by him in the direction of the olive-tree on the edge of the waste land.
23 Toute la contrée était en larmes et l'on poussait de grands cris, au passage de tout le peuple. Le roi passa le torrent de Cédron, et tout le peuple passa vis-à-vis du chemin qui mène au désert.
23 Rinne an tuath go léir caoineadh agus olagón agus na daoine ag gabháil thar bráid. Sheas an rí i nGleann Chidreon agus mháirseáil na daoine go léir thairis i dtreo an fhásaigh.
23 Y todo el país lloró en alta voz; pasó luego toda la gente el torrente de Cedrón; asimismo pasó el rey, y todo el pueblo pasó, al camino que va al desierto.
23 Und das ganze Land weinte mit lauter Stimme, und alles Volk ging mit. Und der König ging über den Bach Kidron, und alles Volk ging vor auf dem Wege, der zur Wüste geht.
24 Then Zadok came, and Abiathar, and with them the ark of God's agreement: and they put down the ark of God, till all the people from the town had gone by.
24 Tsadok était aussi là, et avec lui tous les Lévites portant l'arche de l'alliance de Dieu; et ils posèrent l'arche de Dieu, et Abiathar montait, pendant que tout le peuple achevait de sortir de la ville.
24 Bhí Zádóc ansiúd agus na Léivítigh go léir ag iompar áirc chonradh Dé. Leagadar áirc Dé ansiúd ar an talamh os comhair Aibíátár nó gur ghabh an pobal go léir thart amach as an gcathair.
24 Y he aquí, también iba Sadoc, y con él todos los Levitas que llevaban el arca del pacto de Dios; y asentaron el arca del pacto de Dios. Y subió Abiathar después que hubo acabado de salir de la ciudad todo el pueblo.
24 Und siehe, Zadok war auch da und alle Leviten, die bei ihm waren, und trugen die Lade des Bundes und stellten sie dahin. Und Abjathar trat empor, bis daß alles Volk zur Stadt hinauskam.
25 And the king said to Zadok, Take the ark of God back into the town: if I have grace in the eyes of the Lord, he will let me come back and see it and his House again:
25 Le roi dit à Tsadok: Reporte l'arche de Dieu dans la ville. Si je trouve grâce aux yeux de l'Éternel, il me ramènera, et il me fera voir l'arche et sa demeure.
25 Dúirt an rí ansin le Zádóc: “Tabhair áirc Dé ar ais isteach sa chathair. Má fhaighim fabhar i súile an Tiarna, tabharfaidh sé ar ais mé agus tabharfaidh sé radharc arís dom uirthi féin agus ar a háit lonnaithe.
25 Pero dijo el rey á Sadoc: Vuelve el arca de Dios á la ciudad; que si yo hallare gracia en los ojos de Jehová, él me volverá, y me hará ver á ella y á su tabernáculo:
25 Aber der König sprach zu Zadok: Bringe die Lade Gottes wieder in die Stadt. Werde ich Gnade finden vor dem HERRN, so wird er mich wieder holen und wird mich sie sehen lassen und sein Haus.
26 But if he says, I have no delight in you: then, here I am; let him do to me what seems good to him.
26 Mais s'il dit: Je ne prends point plaisir en toi! me voici, qu'il me fasse ce qui lui semblera bon.
26 Ach má deir sé: ‘Ní gean liom thú,’ seo mé agus déanadh sé liom mar is rogha leis.”
26 Y si dijere: No me agradas: aquí estoy, haga de mí lo que bien le pareciere.
26 Spricht er aber also: Ich habe nicht Lust zu dir, siehe, hier bin ich. Er mache es mit mir, wie es ihm wohl gefällt.
27 The king said further to Zadok the priest, See, you and Abiathar are to go back to the town in peace, with your two sons, Ahimaaz, your son, and Jonathan, the son of Abiathar.
27 Le roi dit encore au sacrificateur Tsadok: Comprends-tu? retourne en paix dans la ville, avec Achimaats, ton fils, et avec Jonathan, fils d'Abiathar, vos deux fils.
27 Dúirt an rí le Zádóc an sagart: “Féach, fillse agus Aibíátár ar ais faoi shíocháin chun na cathrach leis an mbeirt mhac agaibh, Aichímeáz do mhac féin agus Iónátán mac Aibíátár.
27 Dijo aún el rey á Sadoc sacerdote: ¿No eres tú el vidente? Vuélvete en paz á la ciudad; y con vosotros vuestros dos hijos, tu hijo Ahimaas, y Jonathán hijo de Abiathar.
27 Und der König sprach zu dem Priester Zadok: O du Seher, kehre um wieder in die Stadt mit Frieden und mit euch eure beiden Söhne, Ahimaaz, dein Sohn, und Jonathan, der Sohn Abjathars!
28 See, I will be waiting at the way across the river, in the waste land, till I get news from you.
28 Voyez, j'attendrai dans les plaines du désert, jusqu'à ce qu'il m'arrive des nouvelles de votre part.
28 Fanfaidh mise i réitigh an fhásaigh go bhfaighidh mé gaoth an fhocail uaibhse.”
28 Mirad, yo me detendré en los campos del desierto, hasta que venga respuesta de vosotros que me dé aviso.
28 Siehe ich will verziehen auf dem blachen Felde in der Wüste, bis daß Botschaft von euch komme, und sage mir an.
29 So Zadok and Abiathar took the ark of God back to Jerusalem, and did not go away from there.
29 Ainsi Tsadok et Abiathar reportèrent l'arche de Dieu à Jérusalem, et ils y restèrent.
29 Thug Zádóc agus Aibíátár áirc Dé ar ais go Iarúsailéim agus d'fhanadar ann.
29 Entonces Sadoc y Abiathar volvieron el arca de Dios á Jerusalem; y estuviéronse allá.
29 Also brachten Zadok und Abjathar die Lade Gottes wieder gen Jerusalem und blieben daselbst.
30 And David went up the slopes of the Mount of Olives weeping all the way, with his head covered and no shoes on his feet: and all the people who were with him, covering their heads, went up weeping.
30 David monta la colline des oliviers. Il montait en pleurant et la tête couverte, et il marchait nu-pieds; et tous ceux qui étaient avec lui se couvrirent aussi la tête, et ils montaient en pleurant.

30 Y David subió la cuesta de las olivas; y subió la llorando, llevando la cabeza cubierta, y los pies descalzos. También todo el pueblo que tenía consigo cubrió cada uno su cabeza, y subieron llorando así como subían.
30 David aber ging den Ölberg hinan und weinte, und sein Haupt war verhüllt, und er ging barfuß. Dazu alles Volk, das bei ihm war, hatte ein jeglicher sein Haupt verhüllt und gingen hinan und weinten.
31 And word came to David, saying, Ahithophel is among those who are joined to Absalom. And David said, O Lord, let the wisdom of Ahithophel be made foolish.
31 On vint dire à David: Achitophel est avec Absalom parmi les conjurés. Et David dit: O Éternel, réduis à néant les conseils d'Achitophel!
31 Fuair Dáiví scéala go raibh Aichítifeil i measc lucht comhcheilge Aibseálóm. Dúirt Dáiví: “A Thiarna, impím ort, déan baois de bheartais Aichítifeil.”
31 Y dieron aviso á David, diciendo: Achitophel está entre los que conspiraron con Absalom. Entonces dijo David: Entontece ahora, oh Jehová, el consejo de Achitophel.
31 Und da es David angesagt ward, daß Ahithophel im Bund mit Absalom war, sprach er: HERR, mache den Ratschlag Ahithophels zur Narrheit!
32 Now when David had come to the top of the slope, where they gave worship to God, Hushai the Archite came to him in great grief with dust on his head:
32 Lorsque David fut arrivé au sommet, où il se prosterna devant Dieu, voici, Huschaï, l'Arkien, vint au-devant de lui, la tunique déchirée et la tête couverte de terre.

32 Y como David llegó á la cumbre del monte para adorar allí á Dios, he aquí Husai Arachîta que le salió al encuentro, trayendo rota su ropa, y tierra sobre su cabeza.
32 Und da David auf die Höhe kam, da man Gott pflegt anzubeten, siehe, da begegnete ihm Husai, der Arachiter, mit zerrissenem Rock und Erde auf seinem Haupt.
33 David said to him, If you go on with me, you will be a trouble to me:
33 David lui dit: Si tu viens avec moi, tu me seras à charge.
33 Dúirt Dáiví leis: “Má théann tú ar aghaidh liom, beidh tú i d'ualach orm;
33 Y díjole David: Si pasares conmigo, serme has de carga;
33 Und David sprach zu ihm: Wenn du mit mir gehst, wirst du mir eine Last sein.
34 But if you go back to the town and say to Absalom, I will be your servant, O king; as in the past I have been your father's servant, so now I will be yours: then you will be able to keep Ahithophel's designs against me from being put into effect.
34 Et, au contraire, tu anéantiras en ma faveur les conseils d'Achitophel, si tu retournes à la ville, et que tu dises à Absalom: O roi, je serai ton serviteur; je fus autrefois le serviteur de ton père, mais je suis maintenant ton serviteur.

34 Mas si volvieres á la ciudad, y dijeres á Absalom: Rey, yo seré tu siervo; como hasta aquí he sido siervo de tu padre, así seré ahora siervo tuyo, entonces tú me disiparás el consejo de Achitophel.
34 Wenn du aber wieder in die Stadt gingest und sprächest zu Absalom: Ich bin dein Knecht, ich will des Königs sein; der ich deines Vaters Knecht war zu der Zeit, will nun dein Knecht sein: So würdest du mir zugut den Ratschlag Ahithophels zunichte machen.
35 And have you not there Zadok and Abiathar the priests? so whatever comes to your ears from the king's house, give word of it to Zadok and Abiathar the priests.

36 See, they have with them their two sons, Ahimaaz, Zadok's son, and Jonathan, the son of Abiathar; by them you may send word to me of everything which comes to your ears.
36 Et comme ils ont là auprès d'eux leurs deux fils, Achimaats, fils de Tsadok, et Jonathan, fils d'Abiathar, c'est par eux que vous me ferez savoir tout ce que vous aurez appris.
36 Agus féach, tá a mbeirt mhac, Aichímeáz mac Zádóc, agus Iónátán mac Aibíátár, in éineacht leo; seolfaidh sibh gach scéala a gheobhaidh sibh chugamsa lena gcabhairsean.”
36 Y he aquí que están con ellos sus dos hijos, Ahimaas el de Sadoc, y Jonathán el de Abiathar: por mano de ellos me enviaréis aviso de todo lo que oyereis.
36 Siehe, es sind bei ihnen ihre zwei Söhne: Ahimaaz, Zadoks, und Jonathan, Abjathars Sohn. Durch die kannst du mir entbieten, was du hören wirst.
37 So Hushai, David's friend, went into the town, and Absalom came to Jerusalem.
37 Huschaï, ami de David, retourna donc à la ville. Et Absalom entra dans Jérusalem.
