1 And David got together all the fighting-men of Israel to the number of thirty thousand;

2 And David, and all the people who were with him, went to Baal of Judah to get the ark of God, over which the holy name is named, the name of the Lord of armies, whose place is between the winged ones.
2 Et David, avec tout le peuple qui était auprès de lui, se mit en marche depuis Baalé Juda, pour faire monter de là l'arche de Dieu, devant laquelle est invoqué le nom de l'Éternel des armées qui réside entre les chérubins au-dessus de l'arche.
2 Chuir Dáiví chun bealaigh agus d'imigh lena lucht leanúna go léir ó Bhálá Iúdá chun áirc Dé ar a bhfuil ainm Tiarna na Slua a shuíonn faoi réim ar na ceiribíní a thabhairt aníos as sin.
2 Y levantóse David, y fué con todo el pueblo que tenía consigo, de Baal de Judá, para hacer pasar de allí el arca de Dios, sobre la cual era invocado el nombre de Jehová de los ejércitos, que mora en ella entre los querubines.
2 und machte sich auf und ging hin mit allem Volk, das bei ihm war, gen Baal in Juda, daß er die Lade Gottes von da heraufholte, deren Name heißt: Der Name des HERRN Zebaoth wohnt darauf über den Cherubim.
3 And they put the ark of God on a new cart and took it out of the house of Abinadab which was on the hill: and Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, were the drivers of the cart.
3 Ils mirent sur un char neuf l'arche de Dieu, et l'emportèrent de la maison d'Abinadab sur la colline; Uzza et Achjo, fils d'Abinadab, conduisaient le char neuf.
3 Leagadar áirc Dé ar charr nua, agus thugadar leo í ó theach Aibíonádáb atá ar an gcnoc. Bhí Uzá agus Aichíó, clann mhac Aibíonádáb, ag tiomáint an chairr nua.
3 Y pusieron el arca de Dios sobre un carro nuevo, y lleváronla de la casa de Abinadab, que estaba en Gabaa: y Uzza y Ahio, hijos de Abinadab, guiaban el carro nuevo.
3 Und sie ließen die Lade Gottes führen auf einen neuen Wagen und holten sie aus dem Hause Abinadabs, der auf dem Hügel wohnte. Usa aber und Ahjo, die Söhne Abinadabs, trieben den neuen Wagen.
4 And Uzzah went by the side of the ark, while Ahio went before it.
4 Ils l'emportèrent donc de la maison d'Abinadab sur la colline; Uzza marchait à côté de l'arche de Dieu, et Achjo allait devant l'arche.
4 [Bhí Uzá ag siúl] taobh le háirc Dé agus Aichíó ag gabháil roimpi.
4 Y cuando lo llevaban de la casa de Abinadab que estaba en Gabaa, con el arca de Dios, Ahio iba delante del arca.
4 Und da sie ihn mit der Lade Gottes aus dem Hause Abinadabs führten, der auf einem Hügel wohnte, und Ahjo vor der Lade her ging,
5 And David and all the men of Israel made melody before the Lord with all their power, with songs and with corded instruments and instruments of brass.
5 David et toute la maison d'Israël jouaient devant l'Éternel de toutes sortes d'instruments de bois de cyprès, des harpes, des luths, des tambourins, des sistres et des cymbales.
5 Bhí Dáiví agus teaghlach Iosrael ag rince os comhair an Tiarna le barr dúthrachta, ag cantain le cruiteanna, le cláirseacha, le bodhráin, le castainéid, agus le ciombail.
5 Y David y toda la casa de Israel danzaban delante de Jehová con toda suerte de instrumentos de madera de haya; con arpas, salterios, adufes, flautas y címbalos.
5 spielte David und das ganze Haus Israel vor dem HERRN her mit allerlei Saitenspiel von Tannenholz, mit Harfen und Psaltern und Pauken und Schellen und Zimbeln.
6 And when they came to Nacon's grain-floor, Uzzah put his hand on the ark of God to keep it safe in its place, for the oxen were out of control.
6 Lorsqu'ils furent arrivés à l'aire de Nacon, Uzza étendit la main vers l'arche de Dieu et la saisit, parce que les boeufs la faisaient pencher.
6 Nuair a thángadar go hurlár buailte áirithe, shin Uzá a lámh chun áirc an Tiarna agus choinnigh socair í mar go raibh na daimh ag tuisliú.
6 Y cuando llegaron á la era de Nachôn, Uzza extendió la mano al arca de Dios, y túvola; porque los bueyes daban sacudidas.
6 Und da sie kamen zu Tenne Nachons, griff Usa zu und hielt die Lade Gottes; denn die Rinder traten beiseit aus.
7 And the wrath of the Lord, burning against Uzzah, sent destruction on him because he had put his hand on the ark, and death came to him there by the ark of God.
7 La colère de l'Éternel s'enflamma contre Uzza, et Dieu le frappa sur place à cause de sa faute. Uzza mourut là, près de l'arche de Dieu.
7 D'adhain fearg an Tiarna in aghaidh Uzá agus bhuail Dia ar an toirt é mar gur bhain sé leis an áirc lena láimh, agus fuair sé bás ansiúd taobh le háirc an Tiarna.
7 Y el furor de Jehová se encendió contra Uzza, é hiriólo allí Dios por aquella temeridad, y cayó allí muerto junto al arca de Dios.
7 Da ergrimmte des HERRN Zorn über Usa, und Gott schlug ihn daselbst um seines Frevels willen, daß er daselbst starb bei der Lade Gottes.
8 And David was angry because of the Lord's outburst of wrath against Uzzah: and he gave that place the name Perez-uzzah, which is its name to this day.
8 David fut irrité de ce que l'Éternel avait frappé Uzza d'un tel châtiment. Et ce lieu a été appelé jusqu'à ce jour Pérets Uzza.
8 Bhí Dáiví míshásta mar gur bhris fearg an Tiarna amach ina aghaidh Uzá, agus tugtar Bearna Uzá ar an áit go dtí an lá inniu.
8 Y entristecióse David por haber herido Jehová á Uzza: y fué llamado aquel lugar Pérez-uzza, hasta hoy.
8 Da ward David betrübt, daß der HERR den Usa so wegriß, und man hieß die Stätte Perez-Usa bis auf diesen Tag.
9 And such was David's fear of the Lord that day, that he said, How may I let the ark of God come to me?
9 David eut peur de l'Éternel en ce jour-là, et il dit: Comment l'arche de l'Éternel entrerait-elle chez moi?
9 Bhí eagla an Tiarna ar Dháiví an lá sin: “Conas,” ar sé, “arbh fhéidir le háirc an Tiarna teacht chugamsa?”
9 Y temiendo David á Jehová aquel día, dijo: ¿Cómo ha de venir á mí el arca de Jehová?
9 Und David fürchtete sich vor dem HERRN des Tages und sprach: Wie soll die Lade des HERRN zu mir kommen?
10 So David did not let the ark of the Lord come back to him to the town of David: but had it turned away and put into the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.
10 Il ne voulut pas retirer l'arche de l'Éternel chez lui dans la cité de David, et il la fit conduire dans la maison d'Obed Édom de Gath.
10 Shocraigh Dáiví gan an áirc a thabhairt isteach i nDúnfort Dháiví ach thug sé i leataobh í go teach Obaed Eadóm ó Ghat.
10 No quiso pues David traer á sí el arca de Jehová á la ciudad de David; mas llevóla David á casa de Obed-edom Getheo.
10 Und wollte sie nicht lassen zu sich bringen in die Stadt Davids, sondern ließ sie bringen ins Haus Obed-Edoms, des Gathiters.
11 And the ark of the Lord was in the house of Obed-edom the Gittite for three months: and the Lord sent a blessing on Obed-edom and all his family.
11 L'arche de l'Éternel resta trois mois dans la maison d'Obed Édom de Gath, et l'Éternel bénit Obed Édom et toute sa maison.
11 D'fhan áirc an Tiarna i dteach Obaed Eadóm ó Ghat ar feadh trí mhí, agus chuir an Tiarna a bheannacht ar Obaed Eadóm agus ar a theaghlach go léir.
11 Y estuvo el arca de Jehová en casa de Obed-edom Getheo tres meses: y bendijo Jehová á Obed-edom y á toda su casa.
11 Und da die Lade des HERRN drei Monate blieb im Hause Obed-Edoms, des Gathiters, segnete ihn der HERR und sein ganzes Haus.
12 And they said to King David, The blessing of the Lord is on the family of Obed-edom and on all he has, because of the ark of God. And David went and took the ark of God from the house of Obed-edom into the town of David with joy.
12 On vint dire au roi David: L'Éternel a béni la maison d'Obed Édom et tout ce qui est à lui, à cause de l'arche de Dieu. Et David se mit en route, et il fit monter l'arche de Dieu depuis la maison d'Obed Édom jusqu'à la cité de David, au milieu des réjouissances.
12 Tháinig scéala go Dáiví rí gur chuir an Tiarna a bheannacht ar theaghlach Obaed Eadóm agus ar gach ar bhain leis de bharr áirc an Tiarna. D'imigh Dáiví dá bhrí sin agus thug sé áirc Dé leis aníos ó theach Obaed Eadóm go Dúnfort Dháiví le barr lúcháire.
12 Y fué dado aviso al rey David, diciendo: Jehová ha bendecido la casa de Obed-edom, y todo lo que tiene, á causa del arca de Dios. Entonces David fué, y trajo el arca de Dios de casa de Obed-edom á la ciudad de David con alegría.
12 Und es ward dem König David angesagt, daß der HERR das Haus Obed-Edoms segnete und alles, was er hatte, um der Lade Gottes willen. Da ging er hin und holte die Lade Gottes aus dem Hause Obed-Edoms herauf in die Stadt Davids mit Freuden.
13 And when those who were lifting the ark of the Lord had gone six steps, he made an offering of an ox and a fat young beast.
13 Quand ceux qui portaient l'arche de l'Éternel eurent fait six pas, on sacrifia un boeuf et un veau gras.
13 Nuair a bhí lucht iompair áirc an Tiarna imithe sé choiscéim, rinne sé damh agus caora ramhar a íobairt.
13 Y como los que llevaban el arca de Dios habían andado seis pasos, sacrificaban un buey y un carnero grueso.
13 Und da sie einhergegangen waren mit der Lade des HERRN sechs Gänge, opferte man einen Ochsen und ein fettes Schaf.
14 And David, clothed in a linen ephod, was dancing before the Lord with all his strength.
14 David dansait de toute sa force devant l'Éternel, et il était ceint d'un éphod de lin.
14 Bhí Dáiví ag rince an méid a bhí ina chorp os comhair an Tiarna, agus éafód lín á chaitheamh aige.
14 Y David saltaba con toda su fuerza delante de Jehová; y tenía vestido David un ephod de lino.
14 Und David tanzte mit aller Macht vor dem HERR her und war begürtet mit einem leinenen Leibrock.
15 So David and all the men of Israel took up the ark of the Lord with cries of joy and sounding of horns.
15 David et toute la maison d'Israël firent monter l'arche de l'Éternel avec des cris de joie et au son des trompettes.
15 Thug Dáiví agus teaghlach Iosrael go léir áirc an Tiarna aníos le gártha agus le séideadh an stoic.
15 Así David y toda la casa de Israel llevaban el arca de Jehová con júbilo y sonido de trompeta.
15 Und David samt dem ganzen Israel führten die Lade des HERRN herauf mit Jauchzen und Posaunen.
16 And when the ark of the Lord came into the town of David, Michal, Saul's daughter, looking out of the window, saw King David dancing and jumping before the Lord; and to her mind he seemed foolish.
16 Comme l'arche de l'Éternel entrait dans la cité de David, Mical, fille de Saül, regardait par la fenêtre, et, voyant le roi David sauter et danser devant l'Éternel, elle le méprisa dans son coeur.
16 Nuair a bhí áirc an Tiarna ag dul isteach i nDúnfort Dháiví, bhí Míceal iníon Shóil ag faire ón bhfuinneog agus chonaic sí Dáiví rí ag steipeadaíl agus ag rince os comhair an Tiarna; tháinig drochmheas aici air ina croí.
16 Y como el arca de Jehová llegó á la ciudad de David, aconteció que Michâl hija de Saúl miró desde una ventana, y vió al rey David que saltaba con toda su fuerza delante de Jehová: y menosprecióle en su corazón.
16 Und da die Lade des HERRN in die Stadt Davids kam, sah Michal, die Tochter Sauls, durchs Fenster und sah den König David springen und tanzen vor dem HERRN und verachtete ihn in ihrem Herzen.
17 And they took in the ark of the Lord, and put it in its place inside the tent which David had put up for it: and David made burned offerings and peace-offerings to the Lord.
17 Après qu'on eut amené l'arche de l'Éternel, on la mit à sa place au milieu de la tente que David avait dressée pour elle; et David offrit devant l'Éternel des holocaustes et des sacrifices d'actions de grâces.
17 Thug siad áirc an Tiarna isteach leo agus d'fhág siad ina hionad í laistigh den bhoth a bhí curtha suas ag Dáiví di. Agus d'ofráil Dáiví íobairtí dóite agus íobairtí comaoineach os comhair an Tiarna.
17 Metieron pues el arca de Jehová, y pusiéronla en su lugar en medio de una tienda que David le había tendido: y sacrificó David holocaustos y pacíficos delante de Jehová.
17 Da sie aber die Lade des HERRN hereinbrachten, stellten sie die an ihren Ort mitten in der Hütte, die David für sie hatte aufgeschlagen. Und David opferte Brandopfer und Dankopfer vor dem HERRN.
18 And after David had made the burned offerings and the peace-offerings, he gave the people a blessing in the name of the Lord of armies.
18 Quand David eut achevé d'offrir les holocaustes et les sacrifices d'actions de grâces, il bénit le peuple au nom de l'Éternel des armées.
18 Nuair a bhí deireadh na n‑íobairtí dóite agus na n‑íobairtí comaoineach ofráilte ag Dáiví bheannaigh sé an pobal in ainm Tiarna na Slua.
18 Y como David hubo acabado de ofrecer los holocaustos y pacíficos, bendijo al pueblo en el nombre de Jehová de los ejércitos.
18 Und da David hatte ausgeopfert die Brandopfer und Dankopfer, segnete er das Volk in dem Namen des HERRN Zebaoth
19 And he gave to every man and woman among all the people, among all the masses of Israel, a cake of bread and a measure of wine and a cake of dry grapes. Then all the people went away, every man to his house.
19 Puis il distribua à tout le peuple, à toute la multitude d'Israël, hommes et femmes, à chacun un pain, une portion de viande et un gâteau de raisins. Et tout le peuple s'en alla, chacun dans sa maison.
19 Ansin roinn sé ar an bpobal uile, ar shlua iomlán Iosrael, idir fhir agus mhná, cáca aráin an duine agus sciar dátaí agus císte rísíní. D'imigh an pobal go léir ansin, gach duine chun a thí féin.
19 Y repartió á todo el pueblo, y á toda la multitud de Israel, así á hombres como á mujeres, á cada uno una torta de pan, y un pedazo de carne, y un frasco de vino. Y fuése todo el pueblo, cada uno á su casa.
19 und teilte aus allem Volk, der ganzen Menge Israels, sowohl Mann als Weib, einem jeglichen einen Brotkuchen und ein Stück Fleisch und ein halbes Maß Wein. Da kehrte alles Volk heim, ein jeglicher in sein Haus.
20 Then David came back to give a blessing to his family. And Michal, Saul's daughter, came out to him and said, How full of glory was the king of Israel today, who let himself be seen uncovered by his servant-girls like a foolish person uncovering himself without shame!
20 David s'en retourna pour bénir sa maison, et Mical, fille de Saül, sortit à sa rencontre. Elle dit: Quel honneur aujourd'hui pour le roi d'Israël de s'être découvert aux yeux des servantes de ses serviteurs, comme se découvrirait un homme de rien!
20 Ag teacht abhaile do Dháiví chun a theaghlach a bheannú, chuaigh Míceal iníon Shóil amach ina choinne: “Nach breá an cháil,” ar sí, “a thuill rí Iosrael dó féin inniu, á nochtadh féin os comhair chailíní a shearbhóntaí, mar a dhéanfadh aon chrosán é féin a nochtadh.”
20 Volvió luego David para bendecir su casa: y saliendo Michâl á recibir á David, dijo: ¡Cuán honrado ha sido hoy el rey de Israel, desnudándose hoy delante de las criadas de sus siervos, como se desnudara un juglar!
20 Da aber David wiederkam sein Haus zu grüßen, ging Michal, die Tochter Sauls, heraus ihm entgegen und sprach: Wie herrlich ist heute der König von Israel gewesen, der sich vor den Mägden seiner Knechte entblößt hat, wie sich die losen Leute entblößen!
21 And David said to Michal, I was dancing before the Lord, who put me over your father and all his sons, to make me a ruler over the people of the Lord, over his people Israel: and I will go on playing before the Lord;
21 David répondit à Mical: C'est devant l'Éternel, qui m'a choisi de préférence à ton père et à toute sa maison pour m'établir chef sur le peuple de l'Éternel, sur Israël, c'est devant l'Éternel que j'ai dansé.
21 D'fhreagair Dáiví Míceal: “Don Tiarna a bhí mé ag rince. [Dar an Tiarna beo], an té a thogh mise roimh d'athair agus roimh a theaghlach go léir le taoiseach a dhéanamh díom ar Iosrael, pobal an Tiarna, déanfaidh mé rince os comhair an Tiarna
21 Entonces David respondió á Michâl: Delante de Jehová, que me eligió más bien que á tu padre y á toda su casa, mandándome que fuese príncipe sobre el pueblo de Jehová, sobre Israel, danzaré delante de Jehová.
21 David aber sprach zu Michal: Ich will vor dem HERRN spielen, der mich erwählt hat vor deinem Vater und vor allem seinem Hause, daß er mir befohlen hat, ein Fürst zu sein über das Volk des HERRN, über Israel,
22 And I will do even worse than this, and make myself even lower in your eyes: but the servant-girls of whom you were talking will give me honour.
22 Je veux paraître encore plus vil que cela, et m'abaisser à mes propres yeux; néanmoins je serai en honneur auprès des servantes dont tu parles.
22 agus mé féin a ísliú níos mó fós. Beidh mé gan mheas i do shúilese, ach beidh deamheas orm ina súile siúd, na cailíní a luann tú.”
22 Y aun me haré más vil que esta vez, y seré bajo á mis propios ojos; y delante de las criadas que dijiste, delante de ellas seré honrado.
22 Und ich will noch geringer werden denn also und will niedrig sein in meinen Augen, und mit den Mägden, von denen du geredet hast, zu Ehren kommen.
23 And Michal, Saul's daughter, had no child till the day of her death.
23 Or Mical, fille de Saül, n'eut point d'enfants jusqu'au jour de sa mort.
