1 Then all the tribes of Israel came to David in Hebron and said, Truly, we are your bone and your flesh.
1 Toutes les tribus d'Israël vinrent auprès de David, à Hébron, et dirent: Voici, nous sommes tes os et ta chair.
1 Tháinig treibheanna Iosrael go léir chuig Dáiví ansin i Heabrón. “Féach,” ar siad, “sinne do mhuintir ó dhúchas feola agus smeara.
1 Y Vinieron todas las tribus de Israel á David en Hebrón, y hablaron, diciendo: He aquí nosotros somos tus huesos y tú carne.
1 Und es kamen alle Stämme Israels zu David gen Hebron und sprachen: Siehe, wir sind deines Gebeins und deines Fleisches.
2 In the past when Saul was king over us, it was you who went at the head of Israel when they went out or came in: and the Lord said to you, You are to be the keeper of my people Israel and their ruler.
2 Autrefois déjà, lorsque Saül était notre roi, c'était toi qui conduisais et qui ramenais Israël. L'Éternel t'a dit: Tu paîtras mon peuple d'Israël, et tu seras le chef d'Israël.
2 San am atá thart nuair a bhí Sól ina rí orainn, is tusa a bhí mar thaoiseach ar Iosrael ina gcuid eachtraí go léir; agus dúirt an Tiarna leat: ‘Is tusa a bheidh i d'aoire ar mo phobal Iosrael, is tusa a bheidh mar thaoiseach ar Iosrael.’ ”
2 Y aun ayer y antes, cuando Saúl reinaba sobre nosotros, tú sacabas y volvías á Israel. Además Jehová te ha dicho: Tú apacentarás á mi pueblo Israel, y tú serás sobre Israel príncipe.
2 Dazu auch vormals, da Saul über uns König war, führtest du Israel aus und ein. So hat der HERR dir gesagt: Du sollst mein Volk Israel hüten und sollst ein Herzog sein über Israel.
3 So all the responsible men of Israel came to the king at Hebron; and King David made an agreement with them in Hebron before the Lord: and they put the holy oil on David and made him king over Israel.
3 Ainsi tous les anciens d'Israël vinrent auprès du roi à Hébron, et le roi David fit alliance avec eux à Hébron, devant l'Éternel. Ils oignirent David pour roi sur Israël.
3 Tháinig seanóirí Iosrael go léir chuig an rí ag Heabrón, agus rinne Dáiví rí conradh leo ag Heabrón i bhfianaise an Tiarna agus rinne siad Dáiví a ungadh ina rí ar Iosrael.
3 Vinieron pues todos los ancianos de Israel al rey en Hebrón, y el rey David hizo con ellos alianza en Hebrón delante de Jehová; y ungieron á David por rey sobre Israel.
3 Und es kamen alle Ältesten in Israel zum König gen Hebron. Und der König David machte mit ihnen einen Bund zu Hebron vor dem HERRN, und sie salbten David zum König über Israel.
4 David was thirty years old when he became king, and he was king for forty years,
4 David était âgé de trente ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna quarante ans.
4 Bhí Dáiví tríocha bliain d'aois nuair a rinneadh rí de agus d'fhan sé i gcoróin ar feadh daichead bliain.
4 Era David de treinta años cuando comenzó á reinar, y reinó cuarenta años.
4 Dreißig Jahre war David alt, da er König ward, und regierte vierzig Jahre.
5 Ruling over Judah in Hebron for seven years and six months, and in Jerusalem, over all Israel and Judah, for thirty-three years.
5 A Hébron il régna sur Juda sept ans et six mois, et à Jérusalem il régna trente-trois ans sur tout Israël et Juda.
5 Bhí sé seacht mbliana agus sé mhí i Heabrón ina rí ar Iúdá, ansin bhí sé trí bliana agus tríocha i Iarúsailéim ina rí ar Iosrael agus Iúdá go léir. Iarúsailéim
5 En Hebrón reinó sobre Judá siete años y seis meses: y en Jerusalem reinó treinta y tres años sobre todo Israel y Judá.
5 Zu Hebron regierte er sieben Jahre und sechs Monate über Juda; aber zu Jerusalem regierte er dreiunddreißig Jahre über ganz Israel und Juda.
6 And the king and his men went to Jerusalem against the Jebusites, the people of the land: and they said to David, You will not come in here, but the blind and the feeble-footed will keep you out; for they said, David will not be able to come in here.
6 Le roi marcha avec ses gens sur Jérusalem contre les Jébusiens, habitants du pays. Ils dirent à David: Tu n'entreras point ici, car les aveugles mêmes et les boiteux te repousseront! Ce qui voulait dire: David n'entrera point ici.
6 Mháirseáil Dáiví agus a chuid fear ionsar Iarúsailéim in aghaidh na Iabúsach a bhí ina gcónaí ann. Dúirt siad seo le Dáiví: “Ní éireoidh leat teacht isteach anseo. Coinneoidh na daill agus na bacaigh amach thú.” [Sé sin le rá, ní éireoidh le Dáiví teacht isteach anseo go deo.]
6 Entonces el rey y los suyos fueron á Jerusalem al Jebuseo que habitaba en la tierra; el cual habló á David, diciendo: Tú no entrarás acá, si no echares los ciegos y los cojos; diciendo: No entrará acá David.
6 Und der König zog hin mit seinen Männern gen Jerusalem wider die Jebusiter, die im Lande wohnten. Sie aber sprachen zu David: Du wirst nicht hier hereinkommen, sondern Blinde und Lahme werden dich abtreiben. Damit meinten sie aber, daß David nicht würde dahinein kommen.
7 But David took the strong place of Zion, which is the town of David.
7 Mais David s'empara de la forteresse de Sion: c'est la cité de David.
7 Ach ghabh Dáiví daingean Shíón, sé sin Dúnfort Dháiví.
7 Empero David tomó la fortaleza de Sión, la cual es la ciudad de David.
7 David aber gewann die Burg Zion, das ist Davids Stadt.
8 And that day David said, Whoever makes an attack on the Jebusites, let him go up by the water-pipe, and put to death all the blind and feeble-footed who are hated by David. And this is why they say, The blind and feeble-footed may not come into the house.
8 David avait dit en ce jour: Quiconque battra les Jébusiens et atteindra le canal, quiconque frappera ces boiteux et ces aveugles qui sont les ennemis de David... -C'est pourquoi l'on dit: L'aveugle et le boiteux n'entreront point dans la maison.
8 Dúirt Dáiví an lá sin: “Cibé a bhuailfidh an Iabúsach agus a rachaidh an seoladán suas [gheobhaidh sé a luach saothair].” Maidir leis na daill agus na bacaigh, thug Dáiví fuath a anama dóibh. [Uaidh sin an seanfhocal: “Ní rachaidh na daill agus na bacaigh isteach sa Teampall.”]
8 Y dijo David aquel día: ¿Quién llegará hasta las canales, y herirá al Jebuseo, y á los cojos y ciegos, á los cuales el alma de David aborrece? Por esto se dijo: Ciego ni cojo no entrará en casa.
8 Da sprach David desselben Tages: Wer die Jebusiter schlägt und erlangt die Dachrinnen, die Lahmen und die Blinden, denen die Seele Davids feind ist...! Daher spricht man: Laß keinen Blinden und Lahmen ins Haus kommen.
9 So David took the strong tower for his living-place, naming it the town of David. And David took in hand the building of the town all round, starting from the Millo.
9 David s'établit dans la forteresse, qu'il appela cité de David. Il fit de tous côtés des constructions, en dehors et en dedans de Millo.
9 Chuaigh Dáiví chun cónaithe sa daingean agus thug sé Dúnfort Dháiví air. Thóg Dáiví balla timpeall air, ón Mileo isteach.
9 Y David moró en la fortaleza y púsole por nombre la Ciudad de David: y edificó alrededor, desde Millo para adentro.
9 Also wohnte David auf der Burg und hieß sie Davids Stadt. Und David baute ringsumher von Millo an einwärts.
10 And David became greater and greater; for the Lord, the God of armies, was with him.
10 David devenait de plus en plus grand, et l'Éternel, le Dieu des armées, était avec lui.
10 Chuaigh Dáiví i neart agus i neart agus bhí an Tiarna, Dia na Slua, ina chuideachta.
10 Y David iba creciendo y aumentándose, y Jehová Dios de los ejércitos era con él.
10 Und David nahm immer mehr zu, und der HERR, der Gott Zebaoth, war mit ihm.
11 And Hiram, king of Tyre, sent men to David, with cedar-trees and woodworkers and stoneworkers: and they made David a house.
11 Hiram, roi de Tyr, envoya des messagers à David, et du bois de cèdre, et des charpentiers et des tailleurs de pierres, qui bâtirent une maison pour David.
11 Chuir Híorám rí Thuíre toscairí go dtí Dáiví le crainn chéadrais, saoir adhmaid agus chloiche, agus thógadar rítheach do Dháiví.
11 E Hiram rey de Tiro envió también embajadores á David, y madera de cedro, y carpinteros, y canteros para los muros, los cuales edificaron la casa de David.
11 Und Hiram, der König zu Tyrus sandte Boten zu David und Zedernbäume und Zimmerleute und Steinmetzen, daß sie David ein Haus bauten.
12 And David saw that the Lord had made his position safe as king over Israel, and that he had made his kingdom great because of his people Israel.
12 David reconnut que l'Éternel l'affermissait comme roi d'Israël, et qu'il élevait son royaume à cause de son peuple d'Israël.
12 Thuig Dáiví ansin go raibh sé daingnithe ina rí ar Iosrael ag an Tiarna agus go raibh a réim á móradh aige ar son a phobail Iosrael.
12 Y entendió David que Jehová le había confirmado por rey sobre Israel, y que había ensalzado su reino por amor de su pueblo Israel.
12 Und David merkte, daß ihn der HERR zum König über Israel bestätigt hatte und sein Königreich erhöht um seines Volks Israel willen.
13 And David took more women and wives in Jerusalem, after he had come from Hebron: and he had more sons and daughters.
13 David prit encore des concubines et des femmes de Jérusalem, après qu'il fut venu d'Hébron, et il lui naquit encore des fils et des filles.
13 Tar éis teacht ó Heabrón dó, ghlac Dáiví le leannáin agus le mná eile in Iarúsailéim, agus rugadh a thuilleadh mac agus iníonacha dó.
13 Y tomó David más concubinas y mujeres de Jerusalem después que vino de Hebrón, y naciéronle más hijos é hijas.
13 Und David nahm noch mehr Weiber und Kebsweiber zu Jerusalem, nachdem er von Hebron gekommmen war; und wurden ihm noch mehr Söhne und Töchter geboren.
14 These are the names of those whose birth took place in Jerusalem: Shammua and Shobab and Nathan and Solomon
14 Voici les noms de ceux qui lui naquirent à Jérusalem: Schammua, Schobab, Nathan, Salomon,
14 Seo iad ainmneacha na clainne a rugadh dó in Iarúsailéim: Seamúa, Seobán, Nátán, Solamh,
14 Estos son los nombres de los que le nacieron en Jerusalem: Sammua, y Sobab, y Nathán, y Salomón,

17 And when the Philistines had news that David had been made king over Israel, they all went up in search of David; and David, hearing of it, went down to the strong place.
17 Les Philistins apprirent qu'on avait oint David pour roi sur Israël, et ils montèrent tous à sa recherche. David, qui en fut informé, descendit à la forteresse.
17 Nuair a chuala na Filistínigh gur ceapadh Dáiví ina rí ar Iosrael go léir, ghabhadar go léir suas ar a thóir. Arna chlos sin, chuaigh Dáiví síos go dtí an dúnfort.
17 Y oyendo los Filisteos que habían ungido á David por rey sobre Israel, todos los Filisteos subieron á buscar á David: lo cual como David oyó, vino á la fortaleza.
17 Und da die Philister hörten, daß man David zum König über Israel gesalbt hatte, zogen sie alle herauf, David zu suchen. Da das David erfuhr, zog er hinab in eine Burg.
18 And when the Philistines came, they went in every direction in the valley of Rephaim.
18 Les Philistins arrivèrent, et se répandirent dans la vallée des Rephaïm.
18 Nuair a tháinig na Filistínigh, chuireadar cóiriú oscailte orthu féin i nGleann Rafáím.
18 Y vinieron los Filisteos, y extendiéronse por el valle de Raphaim.
18 Aber die Philister kamen und ließen sich nieder im Grunde Rephaim.
19 And David, desiring directions from the Lord, said, Am I to go up against the Philistines? will you give them up into my hands? And the Lord said, Go up, for I will certainly give up the Philistines into your hands.
19 David consulta l'Éternel, en disant: Monterai-je contre les Philistins? Les livreras-tu entre mes mains? Et l'Éternel dit à David: Monte, car je livrerai les Philistins entre tes mains.
19 Chuaigh Dáiví i gcomhairle leis an Tiarna: “An rachaidh mé in aghaidh na bhFilistíneach, an dtabharfaidh tú i mo láimh dom iad?” D'fhreagair an Tiarna: “Ionsaigh iad! Déanfaidh mé na Filistínigh a thabhairt i do láimh duit go dearfa.”
19 Entonces consultó David á Jehová, diciendo: ¿Iré contra los Filisteos? ¿los entregarás en mis manos? Y Jehová respondió á David: Ve, porque ciertamente entregaré los Filisteos en tus manos.
19 Und David fragte den HERRN und sprach: Soll ich hinaufziehen wider die Philister? und willst du sie in meine Hand geben? Der HERR sprach zu David: Zieh hinauf! ich will die Philister in deine Hände geben.
20 And David went to Baal-perazim, and overcame them there; and he said, The Lord has let the forces fighting against me be broken before me as a wall is broken by rushing waters. So that place was named Baal-perazim.
20 David vint à Baal Peratsim, où il les battit. Puis il dit: L'Éternel a dispersé mes ennemis devant moi, comme des eaux qui s'écoulent. C'est pourquoi l'on a donné à ce lieu le nom de Baal Peratsim.
20 Chuaigh Dáiví go Bál Parázaím agus bhuaigh sé ansiúd orthu. Dúirt Dáiví: “Rinne an Tiarna maidhm i líne mo namhad faoi mar a dhéanfadh tuile na habhann.” Uime sin a tugadh Bál Parázaím [nó Maidhm an Tiarna] ar an áit sin.
20 Y vino David á Baal-perasim, y allí los venció David, y dijo: Rompió Jehová mis enemigos delante de mí, como quien rompe aguas. Y por esto llamó el nombre de aquel lugar Baal-perasim.
20 Und David kam gen Baal-Perazim und schlug sie daselbst und sprach: Der HERR hat meine Feinde vor mir voneinander gerissen, wie die Wasser reißen. Daher hieß man den Ort Baal-Perazim.
21 And the Philistines, when they went in flight, did not take their images with them, and David and his men took them away.
21 Ils laissèrent là leurs idoles, et David et ses gens les emportèrent.
21 D'fhág na Filistínigh a n‑íola ansiúd agus thug Dáiví agus a chuid fear leo iad.
21 Y dejaron allí sus ídolos, los cuales quemó David y los suyos.
21 Und sie ließen ihre Götzen daselbst; David aber und seine Männer hoben sie auf.
22 And the Philistines came up again, and went in every direction in the valley of Rephaim.
22 Les Philistins montèrent de nouveau, et se répandirent dans la vallée des Rephaïm.
22 Tháinig na Filistínigh aníos arís agus chuireadar cóiriú oscailte catha orthu féin i nGleann Rafáím.
22 Y los Filisteos tornaron á venir, y extendiéronse en el valle de Raphaim.
22 Die Philister aber zogen abermals herauf und ließen sich nieder im Grunde Rephaim.
23 And when David went for directions to the Lord, he said, You are not to go up against them in front; but make a circle round them from the back and come on them opposite the spice-trees.
23 David consulta l'Éternel. Et l'Éternel dit: Tu ne monteras pas; tourne-les par derrière, et tu arriveras sur eux vis-à-vis des mûriers.
23 Chuaigh Dáiví i gcomhairle leis an Tiarna agus d'fhreagair sé: “Ná hionsaigh iad ceann ar aghaidh; gabh timpeall ar a gcúl agus cuir cath orthu os comhair na gcrann balsaim.
23 Y consultando David á Jehová, él le respondió: No subas; mas rodéalos, y vendrás á ellos por delante de los morales:
23 Und David fragte den HERRN; der sprach: Du sollst nicht hinaufziehen, sondern komm von hinten zu ihnen, daß du an sie kommst gegenüber den Maulbeerbäumen.
24 Then at the sound of footsteps in the tops of the trees, go forward quickly, for the Lord has gone out before you to overcome the army of the Philistines.
24 Quand tu entendras un bruit de pas dans les cimes des mûriers, alors hâte-toi, car c'est l'Éternel qui marche devant toi pour battre l'armée des Philistins.
24 Nuair a chloisfidh tú trup na gcoiscéimeanna ar bharr na gcrann, ansin ar aghaidh leat mar is é an Tiarna a bheidh ann ag gabháil romhat chun briseadh ar arm na bhFilistíneach.”
24 Y cuando oyeres un estruendo que irá por las copas de los morales, entonces te moverás; porque Jehová saldrá delante de ti á herir el campo de los Filisteos.
24 Und wenn du hörst das Rauschen auf den Wipfeln der Maulbeerbäume einhergehen, so eile; denn der HERR ist dann ausgegangen vor dir her, zu schlagen das Heer der Philister.
25 And David did as the Lord had said; and he overcame the Philistines, attacking them from Gibeon to near Gezer.
25 David fit ce que l'Éternel lui avait ordonné, et il battit les Philistins depuis Guéba jusqu'à Guézer.
