1 Now the Philistines got all their army together at Aphek: and the Israelites put their forces in position by the fountain in Jezreel.
1 Les Philistins rassemblèrent toutes leurs troupes à Aphek, et Israël campa près de la source de Jizreel.
1 Thionóil na Filistínigh a sluaite go léir in Afaec, agus bhí a gcampa suite ag Iosrael ag an tobar atá in Izréil.
1 Y Los Filisteos juntaron todos sus campos en Aphec; é Israel puso su campo junto á la fuente que está en Jezreel.
1 Die Philister aber versammelten alle ihre Heere zu Aphek; und Israel lagerte sich zu Ain in Jesreel.
2 And the lords of the Philistines went on with their hundreds and their thousands, and David and his men came after with Achish.
2 Les princes des Philistins s'avancèrent avec leurs centaines et leurs milliers, et David et ses gens marchaient à l'arrière-garde avec Akisch.
2 Bhí taoisigh na bhFilistíneach ag gabháil thar bráid ina gcipí céad agus míle, agus Dáiví agus a chuid fear ag teacht ina ndiaidh in éineacht le hÁicís.
2 Y reconociendo los príncipes de los Filisteos sus compañías de á ciento y de á mil hombres, David y los suyos iban en los postreros con Achîs.
2 Und die Fürsten der Philister gingen daher mit Hunderten und mit Tausenden; David aber und seine Männer gingen hintennach bei Achis.
3 Then the rulers of the Philistines said, What are these Hebrews doing here? And Achish said to the rulers of the Philistines, Is this not David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, who has been with me for a year or two, and I have never seen any wrong in him from the time when he came to me till now?
3 Les princes des Philistins dirent: Que font ici ces Hébreux? Et Akisch répondit aux princes des Philistins: N'est-ce pas David, serviteur de Saül, roi d'Israël? il y a longtemps qu'il est avec moi, et je n'ai pas trouvé la moindre chose à lui reprocher depuis son arrivée jusqu'à ce jour.
3 D'fhiafraigh taoisigh na bhFilistíneach: “Cad a thug na hEabhraigh seo anseo?” D'fhreagair Áicís taoisigh na bhFilistíneach: “Nach é seo Dáiví, searbhónta Shóil, rí Iosrael, atá le [bliain nó dhó] anois i mo choimhdeacht. Ní bhfuair mé locht air ón lá a ghabh sé liom go dtí inniu féin.”
3 Y dijeron los príncipes de los Filisteos: ¿Qué hacen aquí estos Hebreos? Y Achîs respondió á los príncipes de los Filisteos: ¿No es éste David, el siervo de Saúl rey de Israel, que ha estado conmigo algunos días ó algunos años, y no he hallado cosa en él desde el día que se pasó á mí hasta hoy?
3 Da sprachen die Fürsten der Philister: Was sollen diese Hebräer? Achis sprach zu ihnen: Ist nicht das David, der Knecht Sauls, des Königs Israels, der nun bei mir gewesen ist Jahr und Tag, und ich habe nichts an ihm gefunden, seit der Zeit, daß er abgefallen ist, bis her?
4 But the rulers of the Philistines were angry with him, and said to him, Make the man go back to the place you have given him; do not let him go down with us to the fight, or he may be turned against us and be false to us: for how will this man make peace with his lord? will it not be with the heads of these men?
4 Mais les princes des Philistins s'irritèrent contre Akisch, et lui dirent: Renvoie cet homme, et qu'il retourne dans le lieu où tu l'as établi; qu'il ne descende pas avec nous sur le champ de bataille, afin qu'il ne soit pas pour nous un ennemi pendant le combat. Et comment cet homme rentrerait-il en grâce auprès de son maître, si ce n'est au moyen des têtes de nos gens?
4 Ach bhí fearg ar thaoisigh na bhFilistíneach leis. “Cuir ar ais é,” arsa taoisigh na bhFilistíneach leis, “agus filleadh sé ar an áit a thug tú ina sheilbh dó. Ná téadh sé síos chun catha in éineacht linn ar eagla go n‑iompódh sé orainn nuair a bheadh an cath á chur. Arbh fhearr slí aige siúd chun caradas a dhéanamh arís lena mháistir ná le cinn na bhfear seo anseo?
4 Entonces los príncipes de los Filisteos se enojaron contra él, y dijéronle: Envía á este hombre, que se vuelva al lugar que le señalaste, y no venga con nosotros á la batalla, no sea que en la batalla se nos vuelva enemigo: porque ¿con qué cosa volvería mejor á la gracia de su señor que con las cabezas de estos hombres?
4 Aber die Fürsten der Philister wurden zornig auf ihn und sprachen zu ihm: Laß den Mann umkehren und an seinem Ort bleiben, dahin du ihn bestellt hast, daß er nicht mit uns hinabziehe zum Streit und unser Widersacher werde im Streit. Denn woran könnte er seinem Herrn größeren Gefallen tun als an den Köpfen dieser Männer?
5 Is this not David, who was named in their songs, when in the dance they said to one another, Saul has put to death thousands, and David tens of thousands?
5 N'est-ce pas ce David pour qui l'on chantait en dansant: Saül a frappé ses mille, Et David ses dix mille?
5 Nach é seo an Dáiví a gcanaidís ina thaobh ag rince dóibh: ‘Mharaigh Sól a mhílte, Agus Dáiví a dheicheanna de mhílte’?”
5 ¿No es este David de quien cantaba en los corros, diciendo: Saúl hirió sus miles, Y David sus diez miles?
5 Ist er nicht David, von dem sie sangen im Reigen: Saul hat tausend geschlagen, David aber zehntausend?
6 Then Achish sent for David and said to him, By the living Lord, you are upright, and everything you have done with me in the army has been pleasing to me: I have seen no evil in you from the day when you came to me till now: but still, the lords are not pleased with you.
6 Akisch appela David, et lui dit: L'Éternel est vivant! tu es un homme droit, et j'aime à te voir aller et venir avec moi dans le camp, car je n'ai rien trouvé de mauvais en toi depuis ton arrivée auprès de moi jusqu'à ce jour; mais tu ne plais pas aux princes.
6 Chuir Áicís fios ar Dháiví agus dúirt sé leis: “Dar an Tiarna beo, bhí tú dílis, agus, dar liomsa, níl ann ach an ceart thú a dhul in éineacht liom ar an slógadh, mar nach bhfuair mé aon locht ort ón lá a ghabh tú liom go dtí inniu féin. Ach níl na taoisigh sásta leat.
6 Y Achîs llamó á David, y díjole: Vive Jehová, que tú has sido recto, y que me ha parecido bien tu salida y entrada en el campo conmigo, y que ninguna cosa mala he hallado en ti desde el día que viniste á mí hasta hoy: mas en los ojos de los príncipes no agradas.
6 Da rief Achis David und sprach zu ihm: So wahr der HERR lebt, ich halte dich für redlich, und dein Ausgang und Eingang mit mir im Heer gefällt mir wohl, und habe nichts Arges an dir gespürt, seit der Zeit, daß du zu mir gekommen bist; aber du gefällst den Fürsten nicht.
7 So now go back, and go in peace, so that you do not make the lords of the Philistines angry.
7 Retourne donc et va-t'en en paix, pour ne rien faire de désagréable aux yeux des princes des Philistins.
7 Fill ar ais anois, agus déan amhlaidh go síochánta, agus ná cuir olc ar thaoisigh na bhFilistíneach.”
7 Vuélvete pues, y vete en paz; y no hagas lo malo en los ojos de los príncipes de los Filisteos.
7 So kehre nun um und gehe hin mit Frieden, auf daß du nicht übel tust vor den Augen der Fürsten der Philister.
8 And David said to Achish, But what have I done? what have you seen in your servant while I have been with you till this day, that I may not go and take up arms against those who are now making war on my lord the king?
8 David dit à Akisch: Mais qu'ai-je fait, et qu'as-tu trouvé en ton serviteur depuis que je suis auprès de toi jusqu'à ce jour, pour que je n'aille pas combattre les ennemis de mon seigneur le roi?
8 “Cad tá déanta agam?” arsa Dáiví le hÁicís, “cén locht a fuair tú orm ón lá a chuaigh mé isteach i do sheirbhís go dtí anois féin a rá is go bhfuiltear a chosc orm troid in aghaidh naimhde mo thiarna, an rí?”
8 Y David respondió á Achîs: ¿Qué he hecho? ¿qué has hallado en tu siervo desde el día que estoy contigo hasta hoy, para que yo no vaya y pelee contra los enemigos de mi señor el rey?
8 David aber sprach zu Achis: Was habe ich getan, und was hast du gespürt an deinem Knecht seit der Zeit, daß ich vor dir gewesen bin, bis her, daß ich nicht sollte kommen und streiten wider die Feinde meines Herrn, des Königs?
9 And Achish in answer said, It is true that in my eyes you are good, like an angel of God: but still, the rulers of the Philistines have said, He is not to go up with us to the fight.
9 Akisch répondit à David: Je le sais, car tu es agréable à mes yeux comme un ange de Dieu; mais les princes des Philistins disent: Il ne montera point avec nous pour combattre.
9 D'fhreagair Áicís agus dúirt le Dáiví: “Tá a fhios agam, ar ndóigh, go bhfuil tú chomh glan ó mhilleán le haingeal ó Dhia i mo shúilese; ach dúirt taoisigh na bhFilistíneach: ‘Ná téadh sé amach linn chun catha.’
9 Y Achîs respondió á David, y dijo: Yo sé que tú eres bueno en mis ojos, como un ángel de Dios; mas los príncipes de los Filisteos han dicho: No venga con nosotros á la batalla.
9 Achis antwortete und sprach zu David: Ich weiß es wohl; denn du gefällst meinen Augen wie ein Engel Gottes. Aber der Philister Fürsten haben gesagt: Laß ihn nicht mit uns hinauf in den Streit ziehen.
10 So get up early in the morning, with the servants of your lord who are with you, and go to the place I have given you, and have no evil design in your heart, for you are good in my eyes; but when there is light enough in the morning, go away.
10 Ainsi lève-toi de bon matin, toi et les serviteurs de ton maître qui sont venus avec toi; levez-vous de bon matin, et partez dès que vous verrez la lumière.
10 Bí i do shuí dá bhrí sin go moch ar maidin, thú féin agus searbhóntaí do thiarna a tháinig in éineacht leat. Bígí in bhur suí go moch ar maidin agus nuair a bheidh sé geal go leor, buailigí bóthar.”
10 Levántate pues de mañana, tú y los siervos de tu señor que han venido contigo; y levantándoos de mañana, luego al amanecer partíos.
10 So mache dich nun morgen früh auf und die Knechte deines Herrn, die mit dir gekommen sind; und wenn ihr euch morgen früh aufgemacht habt, da es licht ist, so gehet hin.
11 So David and his men got up early in the morning to go back to the land of the Philistines. And the Philistines went up to Jezreel.
11 David et ses gens se levèrent de bonne heure, pour partir dès le matin, et retourner dans le pays des Philistins. Et les Philistins montèrent à Jizreel.
