1 And they sent word to David, saying, The Philistines are fighting against Keilah and taking the grain from the grain-floors.
1 On vint dire à David: Voici, les Philistins ont attaqué Keïla, et ils pillent les aires.
1 Thainig scéala go Dáiví: “Tá na Filistínigh ag troid in aghaidh Cheíleá, agus tá siad ag creachadh na n‑urlár buailte.”
1 Y Dieron aviso á David, dicendo: He aquí que los Filisteos combaten á Keila, y roban las eras.
1 Und es ward David angesagt: Siehe, die Philister streiten wider Kegila und berauben die Tennen.
2 So David, questioning the Lord, said, Am I to go and make an attack on these Philistines? And the Lord said to David, Go and make an attack on the Philistines so that Keilah may be kept from falling into their hands.
2 David consulta l'Éternel, en disant: Irai-je, et battrai-je ces Philistins? Et l'Éternel lui répondit: Va, tu battras les Philistins, et tu délivreras Keïla.
2 Chuaigh Dáiví i gcomhairle leis an Tiarna: “An rachaidh mé agus cath a chur ar na Filistínigh seo?” D'fhreagair an Tiarna Dáiví: “Téigh agus cuir cath ar na Filistínigh agus fuascail Ceíleá.”
2 Y David consultó á Jehová, diciendo: ¿Iré á herir á estos Filisteos? Y Jehová respondió á David: Ve, hiere á los Filisteos, y libra á Keila.
2 Da fragte David den HERRN und sprach: Soll ich hingehen und diese Philister schlagen? Und der HERR sprach zu David: Gehe hin! du wirst die Philister schlagen und Kegila erretten.
3 And David's men said to him, Even here in Judah we are full of fear: how much more then if we go to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines?
3 Mais les gens de David lui dirent: Voici, nous ne sommes pas sans crainte ici même en Juda; que sera-ce si nous allons à Keïla contre les troupes des Philistins?
3 Ach dúirt lucht leanúna Dháiví leis: “Seo sinne agus scéin orainn anseo in Iúdá. Nach mó go mór a bheidh an scéal amhlaidh má théimid go Ceíleá chun cath a chur ar na Filistínigh?”
3 Mas los que estaban con David le dijeron: He aquí que nosotros aquí en Judá estamos con miedo; ¿cuánto más si fuéremos á Keila contra el ejército de los Filisteos?
3 Aber die Männer bei David sprachen zu ihm: Siehe, wir fürchten uns hier in Juda, und wollen hingehen gen Kegila zu der Philister Heer?
4 Then David put the question to the Lord again, and the Lord answering said, Up! go down to Keilah; for I will give the Philistines into your hands.
4 David consulta encore l'Éternel. Et l'Éternel lui répondit: Lève-toi, descends à Keïla, car je livre les Philistins entre tes mains.
4 Chuaigh Dáiví i gcomhairle leis an Tiarna arís agus d'fhreagair an Tiarna: “Imigh leat! Gabh síos go Ceíleá mar cuirfidh mise na Filistínigh faoi do bhois.”
4 Entonces David volvió á consultar á Jehová. Y Jehová le respondió, y dijo: Levántate, desciende á Keila, que yo entregaré en tus manos á los Filisteos.
4 Da fragte David wieder den HERRN, und der HERR antwortete ihm und sprach: Auf, zieh hinab gen Kegila! denn ich will die Philister in deine Hände geben.
5 So David and his men went to Keilah, and had a fight with the Philistines, and took away their cattle, and put them to the sword with great destruction. So David was the saviour of the people of Keilah.
5 David alla donc avec ses gens à Keïla, et il se battit contre les Philistins; il emmena leur bétail, et leur fit éprouver une grande défaite. Ainsi David délivra les habitants de Keïla.
5 Chuaigh Dáiví agus a lucht leanúna go Ceíleá dá bhrí sin, agus chuireadar cath ar na Filistínigh, agus thugadar leo a n‑eallach mar chreach, agus bhriseadar go tubaisteach orthu. D'fhuascail Dáiví áitritheoirí Cheíleá ar an gcuma sin.
5 Partióse pues David con sus hombres á Keila, y peleó contra los Filisteos, y trajo antecogidos sus ganados, é hiriólos con grande estrago: y libró David á los de Keila.
5 Also zog David samt seinen Männern gen Kegila und stritt wider die Philister und trieb ihnen ihr Vieh weg und tat eine große Schlacht an ihnen. Also errettete David die zu Kegila.
6 Now when Abiathar, the son of Ahimelech, went in flight to David, he came down to Keilah with the ephod in his hand.
6 Lorsque Abiathar, fils d'Achimélec, s'enfuit vers David à Keïla, il descendit ayant en main l'éphod.
6 Nuair a theith Aibíátár mac Aichímeilic go dtí Dáiví, tháinig sé síos go Ceíleá agus éafód ina ghlac.
6 Y aconteció que, huyendo Abiathar hijo de Ahimelech á David á Keila, vino también con él el ephod.
6 Denn da Abjathar, der Sohn Ahimelechs, floh zu David gen Kegila, trug er den Leibrock mit sich hinab.
7 And news was given to Saul that David had come to Keilah. And Saul said, Now God has given him into my hands; for by going into a walled town with locked doors, he has let himself be shut in.
7 Saül fut informé de l'arrivée de David à Keïla, et il dit: Dieu le livre entre mes mains, car il est venu s'enfermer dans une ville qui a des portes et des barres.
7 Nuair a insíodh do Shól go raibh Dáiví imithe go Ceíleá, dúirt Sól: “Tá sé tugtha i mo láimh ag Dia dom, óir chuir sé é féin i dteannta nuair a chuaigh sé isteach i gcathair ar a bhfuil geataí agus boltaí.”
7 Y fué dicho á Saúl que David había venido á Keila. Entonces dijo Saúl: Dios lo ha traído á mis manos; porque él está encerrado, habiéndose metido en ciudad con puertas y cerraduras.
7 Da ward Saul angesagt, daß David gen Kegila gekommen wäre, und er sprach: Gott hat ihn in meine Hände übergeben, daß er eingeschlossen ist, nun er in eine Stadt gekommen ist, mit Türen und Riegeln verwahrt.
8 And Saul sent for all the people to come to the fight, and go down to Keilah to make an attack on David and his men.
8 Et Saül convoqua tout le peuple à la guerre, afin de descendre à Keïla et d'assiéger David et ses gens.
8 Ghairm Sól a phobal go léir chun cogaidh le dul síos go Ceíleá le léigear a chur ar Dháiví agus ar a lucht leanúna.
8 Y convocó Saúl todo el pueblo á la batalla, para descender á Keila, y poner cerco á David y á los suyos.
8 Und Saul ließ alles Volk rufen zum Streit hinab gen Kegila, daß sie David und seine Männer belagerten.
9 And it was clear to David that Saul had evil designs against him, and he said to Abiathar the priest, Come here with the ephod.
9 David, ayant eu connaissance du mauvais dessein que Saül projetait contre lui, dit au sacrificateur Abiathar: Apporte l'éphod!
9 Bhí a fhios ag Dáiví, ámh, go raibh urchóid á beartú ag Sól ina aghaidh agus dúirt sé le hAibíátár an sagart: “Tabhair an t‑éafód anseo.”
9 Mas entendiendo David que Saúl ideaba el mal contra él, dijo á Abiathar sacerdote: Trae el ephod.
9 Da aber David merkte, daß Saul Böses über ihn gedachte, sprach er zu dem Priester Abjathar: Lange den Leibrock her!
10 Then David said, O Lord, the God of Israel, news has been given to your servant that it is Saul's purpose to come to Keilah and send destruction on the town because of me.
10 Et David dit: Éternel, Dieu d'Israël, ton serviteur apprend que Saül veut venir à Keïla pour détruire la ville à cause de moi.
10 Ansin dúirt Dáiví: “A Thiarna, a Dhia Iosrael, tá scéal cinnte faighte ag do sheirbhíseach go bhfuil Sól ag beartú teacht go Ceíleá chun an chathair a scrios de mo bharrsa.
10 Y dijo David: Jehová Dios de Israel, tu siervo tiene entendido que Saúl trata de venir contra Keila, á destruir la ciudad por causa mía.
10 Und David sprach: HERR, Gott Israels, dein Knecht hat gehört, daß Saul darnach trachte, daß er gen Kegila komme, die Stadt zu verderben um meinetwillen.
11 And now, is it true, as they have said to me, that Saul is coming? O Lord, the God of Israel, give ear to your servant, and say if these things are so. And the Lord said, He is coming down.
11 Les habitants de Keïla me livreront-ils entre ses mains? Saül descendra-t-il, comme ton serviteur l'a appris? Éternel, Dieu d'Israël, daigne le révéler à ton serviteur! Et l'Éternel répondit: Il descendra.
11 [An dtabharfaidh muintir Cheíleá mise suas dó?] An dtiocfaidh Sól anuas mar a chuala do shearbhónta? A Thiarna, a Dhia Iosrael, inis do do shearbhónta, impím ort.” D'fhreagair an Tiarna: “Déanfaidh.”
11 ¿Me entregarán los vecinos de Keila en sus manos? ¿descenderá Saúl, como tu siervo tiene oído? Jehová Dios de Israel, ruégote que lo declares á tu siervo. Y Jehová dijo: Sí, descenderá.
11 Werden mich auch die Bürger zu Kegila überantworten in seine Hände? Und wird auch Saul herabkommen, wie dein Knecht gehört hat? Das verkündige, HERR, Gott Israels, deinem Knecht! Und der HERR sprach: Er wird herabkommen.
12 Then David said, Will the men of Keilah give me and my men up to Saul? and the Lord said, They will give you up.
12 David dit encore: Les habitants de Keïla me livreront-ils, moi et mes gens, entre les mains de Saül? Et l'Éternel répondit: Ils te livreront.
12 Ansin d'fhiafraigh Dáiví: “An ndéanfaidh muintir Cheíleá mise agus mo lucht leanúna a thabhairt suas do Shól?” Agus d'fhreagair an Tiarna: “Déanfaidh.”
12 Dijo luego David: ¿Me entregarán los vecinos de Keila á mí y á mis hombres en manos de Saúl? Y Jehová respondió: Te entregarán.
12 David sprach: Werden aber die Bürger zu Kegila mich und meine Männer überantworten in die Hände Sauls? Der HERR sprach: Ja.
13 Then David and his men, about six hundred of them, went out of Keilah, and got away wherever they were able to go. And Saul, hearing that David had got away from Keilah, did not go there.
13 Alors David se leva avec ses gens au nombre d'environ six cents hommes; ils sortirent de Keïla, et s'en allèrent où ils purent. Saül, informé que David s'était sauvé de Keïla, suspendit sa marche.
13 Ansin d'imigh Dáiví agus a lucht leanúna, timpeall sé chéad fear, agus chuireadar chun bóthair ó Cheíleá agus d'imíodar cibé treo inarbh fhéidir leo. Nuair a chuala Sól gur éalaigh Dáiví ó Cheíleá, d'éirigh sé as an eachtra.
13 David entonces se levantó con sus hombres, que eran como seiscientos, y saliéronse de Keila, y fuéronse de una parte á otra. Y vino la nueva á Saúl de como David se había escapado de Keila; y dejó de salir.
13 Da machte sich David auf samt seinen Männern, deren bei sechshundert waren, und zogen aus von Kegila und wandelten, wo sie konnten. Da nun Saul angesagt ward, daß David von Kegila entronnen war, ließ er sein Ausziehen anstehen.
14 And David kept in the waste land, in safe places, waiting in the hill-country in the waste land of Ziph. And Saul was searching for him every day, but God did not give him up into his hands.
14 David demeura au désert, dans des lieux forts, et il resta sur la montagne du désert de Ziph. Saül le cherchait toujours, mais Dieu ne le livra pas entre ses mains.
14 D'fhan Dáiví san fhásach, sna daingin, ar na sléibhte i bhfásach Zíf. Níor chuaigh aon stad ar Shól ó lá go lá, ach á chuardach, ach níor thug Dia ar láimh dó é. Cuairt ó Iónátán
14 Y David se estaba en el desierto en peñas, y habitaba en un monte en el desieto de Ziph; y buscábalo Saúl todos los días, mas Dios no lo entregó en sus manos.
14 David aber blieb in der Wüste verborgen und blieb auf dem Berge in der Wüste Siph. Saul aber suchte ihn sein Leben lang; aber Gott gab ihn nicht in seine Hände.
15 And David was full of fear, in the knowledge that Saul had come out to take his life; and David was in the waste land of Ziph, in Horesh.
15 David, voyant Saül en marche pour attenter à sa vie, se tint au désert de Ziph, dans la forêt.
15 Bhí eagla ar Dháiví mar go raibh Sól tagtha amach ar tí a mharaithe. Bhí Dáiví an uair sin i Hoiris i bhfásach Zíf.
15 Viendo pues David que Saúl había salido en busca de su alma, estábase él en el bosque en el desierto de Ziph.
15 Und David sah, daß Saul ausgezogen war, sein Leben zu suchen. Aber David war in der Wüste Siph, in der Heide.
16 And Saul's son Jonathan went to David in Horesh, and made his hands strong in God;
16 Ce fut alors que Jonathan, fils de Saül, se leva et alla vers David dans la forêt. Il fortifia sa confiance en Dieu,
16 Chuir Iónátán mac Shóil chun bóthair agus tháinig go dtí Dáiví i Hoiris agus thug misneach dó in ainm Dé.
16 Entonces se levantó Jonathán hijo de Saúl, y vino á David en el bosque, y confortó su mano en Dios.
16 Da machte sich Jonathan auf, der Sohn Sauls, und ging hin zu David in der Heide und stärkte seine Hand in Gott
17 And said to him, Have no fear, for Saul my father will not get you into his power; and you will be king of Israel, and I will be by your side, and my father Saul is certain of this.
17 et lui dit: Ne crains rien, car la main de Saül, mon père, ne t'atteindra pas. Tu régneras sur Israël, et moi je serai au second rang près de toi; Saül, mon père, le sait bien aussi.
17 “Ná bíodh aon eagla ort,” ar sé leis, “mar ní bhfaighidh Sól m'athair greim ort; tusa a bheidh i do rí ar Iosrael, agus mise a bheidh taobh leat; is eol do Shól m'athair é sin freisin.”
17 Y díjole: No temas, que no te hallará la mano de Saúl mi padre, y tú reinarás sobre Israel, y yo seré segundo después de ti; y aun Saúl mi padre así lo sabe.
17 und sprach zu ihm: Fürchte dich nicht; meines Vaters Sauls Hand wird dich nicht finden, und du wirst König werden über Israel, so will ich der nächste um dich sein; auch weiß solches mein Vater wohl.
18 And the two of them made an agreement before the Lord: and David went on living in Horesh, and Jonathan went back to his house.
18 Ils firent tous deux alliance devant l'Éternel; et David resta dans la forêt, et Jonathan s'en alla chez lui.
18 Rinne an bheirt acu conradh i láthair an Tiarna. D'fhan Dáiví i Hoiris, agus chuaigh Iónátán abhaile. Éalaíonn Dáiví
18 Y entrambos hicieron alianza delante de Jehová: y David se quedó en el bosque, y Jonathán se volvió á su casa.
18 Und sie machten beide einen Bund miteinander vor dem HERRN; und David blieb in der Heide, aber Jonathan zog wieder heim.
19 Then the Ziphites came up to Gibeah to see Saul, and said, Is not David living secretly among us in the strong places in Horesh, in the hill of Hachilah to the south of the waste land?
19 Les Ziphiens montèrent auprès de Saül à Guibea, et dirent: David n'est-il pas caché parmi nous dans des lieux forts, dans la forêt, sur la colline de Hakila, qui est au midi du désert?
19 Chuaigh cuid de mhuintir Zíf suas go Sól i nGibeá. “Nach bhfuil Dáiví,” ar siad, “i bhfolach inár measc i ndaingin Hoiris ar Shliabh Haicíleá, laisteas de Ieisímeon?
19 Y subieron los de Ziph á decir á Saúl en Gabaa: ¿No está David escondido en nuestra tierra en las peñas del bosque, en el collado de Hachîla que está á la mano derecha del desierto?
19 Aber die Siphiter zogen hinauf zu Saul gen Gibea und sprachen: Ist nicht David bei uns verborgen an sicherem Ort in der Heide, auf dem Hügel Hachila, der zur Rechten liegt an der Wüste?
20 So now, O king, have your soul's desire and come down, and we, for our part, will give him up into the king's hands.
20 Descends donc, ô roi, puisque c'est là tout le désir de ton âme; et à nous de le livrer entre les mains du roi.
20 Tar anuas, más ea a rí, cibé uair ar bith is mian le do chroí teacht. Is é ár ngnó é a thabhairt ar láimh don rí.”
20 Por tanto, rey, desciende ahora presto, según todo el deseo de tu alma, y nosotros lo entregaremos en la mano del rey.
20 So komme nun der König hernieder nach all seines Herzens Begehr, so wollen wir ihn überantworten in des Königs Hände.
21 And Saul said, The Lord's blessing will be yours, for you have had pity on me.
21 Saül dit: Que l'Éternel vous bénisse de ce que vous avez pitié de moi!
21 “Go gcuire an Tiarna a bheannacht oraibh, de bharr teacht i gcabhair orm,” arsa Sól.
21 Y Saúl dijo: Benditos seáis vosotros de Jehová, que habéis tenido compasión de mí:
21 Da sprach Saul: Gesegnet seid ihr dem HERRN, daß ihr euch meiner erbarmt habt!
22 Go now, and take more steps, and see where he is living: for they say that he is expert in deceit.
22 Allez, je vous prie, prenez encore des informations pour savoir et découvrir dans quel lieu il a dirigé ses pas et qui l'y a vu, car il est, m'a-t-on dit, fort rusé.
22 “Imígí anois agus déanaigí deimhin de níos mó fós; faighigí amach cá dtéann rian a chos agus coinnigí cuimhne air, mar deirtear liom go bhfuil sé lán de ghliceas.
22 Id pues ahora, apercibid aún, considerad y ved su lugar donde tiene el pie, y quién lo haya visto allí; porque se me ha dicho que él es en gran manera astuto.
22 So gehet nun hin und werdet's noch gewisser, daß ihr wisset und sehet, an welchem Ort seine Füße gewesen sind und wer ihn daselbst gesehen habe; denn mir ist gesagt, daß er listig ist.
23 So take care to get knowledge of all the secret places where he is taking cover, and be certain to come back to me, and I will go with you: and without doubt, if he is anywhere in the land, I will get him, among all the families of Judah.
23 Examinez et reconnaissez tous les lieux où il se cache, puis revenez vers moi avec quelque chose de certain, et je partirai avec vous. S'il est dans le pays, je le chercherai parmi tous les milliers de Juda.
23 Faighigí faisnéis bheacht ar na háiteanna folaigh go léir ina dtéann sé i bhfolach, agus filligí orm nuair a bheidh sibh cinnte. Rachaidh mé chugaibh ansin agus má bhíonn sé sa dúiche, rachaidh mé sa tóir air ar fud finí uile Iúdá.”
23 Considerad pues, y ved todos los escondrijos donde se oculta, y volved á mí con la certidumbre, y yo iré con vosotros: que si él estuviere en la tierra, yo le buscaré entre todos los millares de Judá.
23 Besehet und erkundet alle Orte, da er sich verkriecht, und kommt wieder zu mir, wenn ihr's gewiß seid, so will ich mit euch ziehen. Ist er im Lande, so will ich nach ihm forschen unter allen Tausenden in Juda.
24 And they went back and came to Ziph before Saul: but David and his men were in the waste land of Maon, in the dry land south of the waste land.
24 Ils se levèrent donc et allèrent à Ziph avant Saül. David et ses gens étaient au désert de Maon, dans la plaine au midi du désert.
24 D'imíodar leo dá bhrí sin agus chuadar go Zíf roimh Shól. Idir an dá linn bhí Dáiví agus a chuid fear i bhfásach Mháón, san Arabá, laisteas de Ieisímeon.
24 Y ellos se levantaron, y se fueron á Ziph delante de Saúl. Mas David y su gente estaban en el desierto de Maón, en la llanura que está á la diestra del desierto.
24 Da machten sie sich auf und gingen gen Siph vor Saul hin. David aber und seine Männer waren in der Wüste Maon, auf dem Gefilde zur Rechten der Wüste.
25 And Saul and his men went in search of him. And David had word of it, so he came down to the rock in the waste land of Maon. And Saul, hearing of this, went after David into the waste land of Maon.
25 Saül partit avec ses gens à la recherche de David. Et l'on en informa David, qui descendit le rocher et resta dans le désert de Maon. Saül, l'ayant appris, poursuivit David au désert de Maon.
25 Agus chuaigh Sól agus a chuid fear ar a thóir. Fuair Dáiví scéala faoi, agus síos leis chun na carraige atá i bhfásach Mháón. Nuair a chuala Sól é sin lean sé Dáiví isteach i bhfásach Mháón.
25 Y partióse Saúl con su gente á buscarlo; pero fué dado aviso á David, y descendió á la peña, y quedóse en el desierto de Maón. Lo cual como Saúl oyó, siguió á David al desierto de Maón.
25 Da nun Saul hinzog mit seinen Männern, zu suchen, ward's David angesagt; und er machte sich den Fels hinab und blieb in der Wüste Maon. Da das Saul hörte, jagte er David nach in die Wüste Maon.
26 And Saul and his men went on one side of the mountain, and David and his men went on the other: and David's purpose was to get away as quickly as possible, for fear of Saul; for Saul and his men were making a circle round David and his men in order to take them.
26 Saül marchait d'un côté de la montagne, et David avec ses gens de l'autre côté de la montagne. David fuyait précipitamment pour échapper à Saül. Mais déjà Saül et ses gens entouraient David et les siens pour s'emparer d'eux,
26 Ghabh Sól agus a chuid fear feadh taobh den sliabh, agus ghabh Dáiví agus a chuid fear feadh an taoibh eile. Bhí Dáiví ag brostú air ag iarraidh éalú ó Shól, agus bhí Sól agus a chuid fear ag iarraidh Dáiví agus a chuid fear a shárú agus a ghabháil ar an gcuma sin.
26 Y Saúl iba por el un lado del monte, y David con los suyos por el otro lado del monte: y dábase priesa David para ir delante de Saúl; mas Saúl y los suyos habían encerrado á David y á su gente para tomarlos.
26 Und Saul mit seinen Männern ging an einer Seite des Berge, David mit seinen Männern an der anderen Seite des Berges. Da David aber eilte, dem Saul zu entgehen, da umringte Saul samt seinen Männern David und seine Männer, daß er sie griffe.
27 But a man came to Saul saying, Be quick and come; for the Philistines have made an attack on the land.
27 lorsqu'un messager vint dire à Saül: Hâte-toi de venir, car les Philistins ont fait invasion dans le pays.
27 Ansin tháinig teachtaire go dtí Sól á rá: “Tar gan mhoill, mar tá fogha tugtha ag na Filistínigh faoin tír.”
27 Entonces vino un mensajero á Saúl, diciendo: Ven luego, porque los Filisteos han hecho una irrupción en el país.
27 Aber es kam ein Bote zu Saul und sprach: Eile und komm! denn die Philister sind ins Land gefallen.
28 So turning back from going after David, Saul went against the Philistines: so that place was named Sela-hammah-lekoth.
28 Saül cessa de poursuivre David, et il s'en retourna pour aller à la rencontre des Philistins. C'est pourquoi l'on appela ce lieu Séla Hammachlekoth.
28 D'fhill Sól dá bhrí sin ón tóir a bhí á dhéanamh aige ar Dháiví agus chuaigh in aghaidh na bhFilistíneach. Sin é an fáth a dtugtar Carraig an Éalaithe ar an áit sin.
28 Volvióse por tanto Saúl de perseguir á David, y partió contra los Filisteos. Por esta causa pusieron á aquel lugar por nombre Sela-hammah-lecoth.
28 Da kehrte sich Saul von dem Nachjagen Davids und zog hin, den Philistern entgegen; daher heißt man den Ort Sela-Mahlekoth (das heißt Scheidefels).
29 And from there, David went up and took cover in the safe place of En-gedi.
29 (24:1) De là David monta vers les lieux forts d'En Guédi, où il demeura.
