1 Then David came to Nob, to Ahimelech the priest: and Ahimelech was full of fear at meeting David, and said to him, Why are you by yourself, having no man with you?
1 David se rendit à Nob, vers le sacrificateur Achimélec, qui accourut effrayé au-devant de lui et lui dit: Pourquoi es-tu seul et n'y a-t-il personne avec toi?
1 Tháinig Dáiví ansin go Nob go dtí Aichímeilic, sagart. Tháinig Aichímeilic amach go hurramach in airicis Dháiví agus dúirt: “Cén fáth a bhfuil tú i d'aonar agus gan aon duine leat?”
1 Y Vino David á Nob, á Ahimelech sacerdote: y sorprendióse Ahimelech de su encuentro, y díjole: ¿Cómo tú solo, y nadie contigo?
1 David aber kam gen Nobe zum Priester Ahimelech. Und Ahimelech entsetzte sich, da er David entgegenging, und sprach zu ihm: Warum kommst du allein und ist kein Mann mit dir?
2 And David said to Ahimelech the priest, The king has given me orders and has said to me, Say nothing to anyone about the business on which I am sending you and the orders I have given you: and a certain place has been fixed to which the young men are to go.
2 David répondit au sacrificateur Achimélec: Le roi m'a donné un ordre et m'a dit: Que personne ne sache rien de l'affaire pour laquelle je t'envoie et de l'ordre que je t'ai donné. J'ai fixé un rendez-vous à mes gens.
2 D'fhreagair Dáiví Aichímeilic sagart: “Thug an rí ordú dom agus dúirt liom: ‘Ná bíodh aon eolas ag aon duine faoin ngnó ar a bhfuilim do do chur, ná faoin ordú atáim a thabhairt duit.’ Maidir le mo shaighdiúirí, tá coinne déanta agam leo ina leithéid seo d'áit.
2 Y respondió David al sacerdote Ahimelech: El rey me encomendó un negocio, y me dijo: Nadie sepa cosa alguna de este negocio á que yo te envío, y que yo te he mandado; y yo señalé á los criados un cierto lugar.
2 David sprach zu Ahimelech, dem Priester: Der König hat mir eine Sache befohlen und sprach zu mir: Laß niemand wissen, warum ich dich gesandt habe und was ich dir befohlen habe. Denn ich habe auch meine Leute an den und den Ort beschieden.
3 So now, if you have here five cakes of bread, give them into my hand, or whatever you have.
3 Maintenant qu'as-tu sous la main? Donne-moi cinq pains, ou ce qui se trouvera.
3 Idir an dá linn, céard atá ar láimh anseo agaibh? Tabhair dom cúig bhuilín nó cibé rud atá ar fáil.”
3 Ahora pues, ¿qué tienes á mano? dame cinco panes, ó lo que se hallare.
3 Hast du nun etwas unter deiner Hand, ein Brot oder fünf, die gib mir in meine Hand, oder was du findest.
4 And the priest, answering David, said, I have no common bread here but there is holy bread; if only the young men have kept themselves from women.
4 Le sacrificateur répondit à David: Je n'ai pas de pain ordinaire sous la main, mais il y a du pain consacré; si du moins tes gens se sont abstenus de femmes!
4 D'fhreagair an sagart Dáiví: “Níl aon arán coiteann ar láimh agam; níl ann ach arán naofa - ar choinníoll gur staon do chuid fear ó mhná.”
4 Y el sacerdote respondió á David, y dijo: No tengo pan común á la mano; solamente tengo pan sagrado: mas lo daré si los criados se han guardado mayormente de mujeres.
4 Der Priester antwortete David und sprach: Ich habe kein gemeines Brot unter meiner Hand, sondern heiliges Brot; wenn sich nur die Leute von Weibern enthalten hätten!
5 And David in answer said to the priest, Certainly women have been kept from us; and as has been done before when I have gone out the arms of the young men were made holy, even though it was a common journey; how much more today will their arms be made holy.
5 David répondit au sacrificateur: Nous nous sommes abstenus de femmes depuis trois jours que je suis parti, et tous mes gens sont purs: d'ailleurs, si c'est là un acte profane, il sera certainement aujourd'hui sanctifié par celui qui en sera l'instrument.
5 D'fhreagair Dáiví an sagart: “Bí deimhin de go bhfuil mná coiscthe orainn faoi mar a bhíonn i gcónaí nuair a théim ar eachtra; tá a gcuid coinnithe naofa ag mo shaighdiúirí. Cé gur aistear coiteann é seo, tá a gcuid naofa inniu go cinnte.”
5 Y David respondió al sacerdote, y díjole: Cierto las mujeres nos han sido reservadas desde anteayer cuando salí, y los vasos de los mozos fueron santos, aunque el camino es profano: cuanto más que hoy habrá otro pan santificado en los vasos.
5 David antwortete dem Priester und sprach zu ihm: Es sind die Weiber drei Tage uns versperrt gewesen, da ich auszog, und der Leute Zeug war heilig; ist aber dieser Weg unheilig, so wird er heute geheiligt werden an dem Zeuge.
6 So the priest gave him the holy bread: there was no other, only the holy bread which had been taken from before the Lord, so that new bread might be put in its place on the day when it was taken away.
6 Alors le sacrificateur lui donna du pain consacré, car il n'y avait là d'autre pain que du pain de proposition, qu'on avait ôté de devant l'Éternel pour le remplacer par du pain chaud au moment où on l'avait pris.
6 Thug an sagart an t‑arán naofa dó dá bhrí sin mar nach raibh d'arán ann ach arán na láithreachta a thógtar ó láthair an Tiarna le harán te a chur ina áit an lá a thógtar é.
6 Así el sacerdote le dió el pan sagrado, porque allí no había otro pan que los panes de la proposición, los cuales habían sido quitados de delante de Jehová, para que se pusiesen panes calientes el día que los otros fueron quitados.
6 Da gab ihm der Priester von dem heiligen Brot, weil kein anderes da war denn die Schaubrote, die man vor dem HERRN abhob, daß man anderes frisches Brot auflegte des Tages, da man sie wegnahm.
7 Now a certain man of the servants of Saul was there that day, kept back before the Lord; his name was Doeg, an Edomite, the strongest of Saul's runners.
7 Là, ce même jour, un homme d'entre les serviteurs de Saül se trouvait enfermé devant l'Éternel; c'était un Édomite, nommé Doëg, chef des bergers de Saül.
7 Tharla duine de shearbhóntaí Shóil a bheith ansiúd an lá sin, é coinnithe i láthair an Tiarna; Doéig an tEadómach a ba ainm dó agus ba é ceannaire tréadairí Shóil é.
7 Aquel día estaba allí uno de los siervos de Saúl detenido delante de Jehová, el nombre del cual era Doeg, Idumeo, principal de los pastores de Saúl.
7 Es war aber des Tages ein Mann drinnen versperrt vor dem HERRN aus den Knechten Sauls, mit Namen Doeg, ein Edomiter, der mächtigste unter den Hirten Sauls.
8 And David said to Ahimelech, Have you no sword or spear with you here? for I have come without my sword and other arms, because the king's business had to be done quickly.
8 David dit à Achimélec: N'as-tu pas sous la main une lance ou une épée? car je n'ai pris avec moi ni mon épée ni mes armes, parce que l'ordre du roi était pressant.
8 Dúirt Dáiví ansin le hAichímeilic: “Nach bhfuil aon sleá ná claíomh ar láimh anseo agat? Níor thug mé mo chlaíomh ná m'airm liom mar go raibh práinn le gnó an rí.”
8 Y David dijo á Ahimelech: ¿No tienes aquí á mano lanza ó espada? porque no tomé en mi mano mi espada ni mis armas, por cuanto el mandamiento del rey era apremiante.
8 Und David sprach zu Ahimelech: Ist nicht hier unter deiner Hand ein Spieß oder Schwert? Ich habe mein Schwert und meine Waffen nicht mit mir genommen; denn die Sache des Königs war eilend.
9 And the priest said, The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom you put to death in the valley of Elah, is here folded in a cloth at the back of the ephod: take that, if you will, for there is no other sword here. And David said, there is no other sword like that; give it to me.
9 Le sacrificateur répondit: Voici l'épée de Goliath, le Philistin, que tu as tué dans la vallée des térébinthes; elle est enveloppée dans un drap, derrière l'éphod; si tu veux la prendre, prends-la, car il n'y en a pas d'autre ici. Et David dit: Il n'y en a point de pareille; donne-la-moi.
9 “Claíomh Ghóla an Filistíneach an té a mharaigh tú i nGleann Éileá,” arsa an sagart, “féach, tá sé ansiúd thall, agus éadach fillte air laistiar den éafód. Más mian leat é sin a bhreith leat, déan, mar níl anseo ach é.” “Níl a leithéid eile ann,” arsa Dáiví. “Tabhair dom é.”
9 Y el sacerdote respondió: La espada de Goliath el Filisteo, que tú venciste en el valle del Alcornoque, está aquí envuelta en un velo detrás del ephod: si tú quieres tomarla, tómala: porque aquí no hay otra sino esa. Y dijo David: Ninguna como ella: dámela.
9 Der Priester sprach: Das Schwert des Philisters Goliath, den du schlugst im Eichgrunde, das ist hier, gewickelt in einen Mantel hinter dem Leibrock. Willst du das, so nimm's hin; denn es ist hier kein anderes als das. David sprach: Es ist seinesgleichen nicht; gib mir's!
10 Then David got up and went in flight that day for fear of Saul, and went to Achish, the king of Gath.
10 David se leva et s'enfuit le même jour loin de Saül. Il arriva chez Akisch, roi de Gath.
10 D'imigh Dáiví leis an lá sin, agus theith ó Shól, agus tháinig go hÁicís rí Ghat.
10 Y levantándose David aquel día, huyó de la presencia de Saúl, y vínose á Achîs rey de Gath.
10 Und David machte sich auf und floh vor Saul und kam zu Achis, dem König zu Gath.
11 And the servants of Achish said to him, Is not this David, the king of the land? did they not make songs about him in their dances, saying, Saul has put to death thousands, and David tens of thousands?
11 Les serviteurs d'Akisch lui dirent: N'est-ce pas là David, roi du pays? n'est-ce pas celui pour qui l'on chantait en dansant: Saül a frappé ses mille, -Et David ses dix mille?
11 Agus dúirt searbhóntaí Áicís leis-sean: “Nach é seo Dáiví, rí na tíre? Nach ina thaobh a chanaidís le chéile ag rince dóibh: ‘Mharaigh Sól a mhílte, Agus Dáiví a dheicheanna de mhílte’?”
11 Y los siervos de Achîs le dijeron: ¿No es éste David, el rey de la tierra? ¿no es éste á quien cantaban en corros, diciendo: Hirió Saúl sus miles, Y David sus diez miles?
11 Aber die Knechte des Achis sprachen zu ihm: Das ist der David, des Landes König, von dem sie sangen im Reigen und sprachen: Saul schlug tausend, David aber zehntausend.
12 And David took these words to heart, fearing Achish, the king of Gath.
12 David prit à coeur ces paroles, et il eut une grande crainte d'Akisch, roi de Gath.
12 Rinne Dáiví a mhachnamh ar na focail seo ina chroí, agus tháinig scanradh air roimh Áicís rí Ghat.
12 Y David puso en su corazón estas palabras, y tuvo gran temor de Achîs rey de Gath.
12 Und David nahm die Rede zu Herzen und fürchtete sich sehr vor Achis, dem König zu Gath,
13 So changing his behaviour before them, he made it seem as if he was off his head, hammering on the doors of the town, and letting the water from his mouth go down his chin.
13 Il se montra comme fou à leurs yeux, et fit devant eux des extravagances; il faisait des marques sur les battants des portes, et il laissait couler sa salive sur sa barbe.
13 Dhéanadh sé é féin a iompar go haisteach ina láthair, agus nuair a leagaidís lámha air ligeadh sé air a bheith ar buile. [Bhuaileadh] sé ar chomhlaí an gheata agus ligeadh prioslaí lena fhéasog síos.
13 Y mudó su habla delante de ellos, y fingióse loco entre sus manos, y escribía en las portadas de las puertas, dejando correr su saliva por su barba.
13 und verstellte seine Gebärde vor ihnen und tobte unter ihren Händen und stieß sich an die Tür am Tor, und sein Geifer floß ihm in den Bart.
14 Then Achish said to his servants, Look! the man is clearly off his head; why have you let him come before me?
14 Akisch dit à ses serviteurs: Vous voyez bien que cet homme a perdu la raison; pourquoi me l'amenez-vous?
14 Dúirt Áicís lena shearbhóntaí: “Féach, tá an fear seo as a mheabhair! Cén fáth ar thug sibh chugamsa é?
14 Y dijo Achîs á sus siervos: He aquí estáis viendo un hombre demente; ¿por qué lo habéis traído á mí?
14 Da sprach Achis zu seinen Knechten: Siehe, ihr seht, daß der Mann unsinnig ist; warum habt ihr ihn zu mir gebracht?
15 Are there not enough unbalanced men about me, that you have let this person come and do such tricks before me? is such a man to come into my house?
15 Est-ce que je manque de fous, pour que vous m'ameniez celui-ci et me rendiez témoin de ses extravagances? Faut-il qu'il entre dans ma maison?
