1 And David went in flight from Naioth in Ramah and came to Jonathan and said, What have I done? What is my crime and my sin against your father that he is attempting to take my life?
1 David s'enfuit de Najoth, près de Rama. Il alla trouver Jonathan, et dit: Qu'ai-je fait? quel est mon crime, quel est mon péché aux yeux de ton père, pour qu'il en veuille à ma vie?
1 Theith Dáiví ó na botháin i Rámá, agus tháinig sé agus labhair sé le Iónátán: “Cad a rinne mé as an tslí? Cén cion atá orm, agus cén choir a rinne mé in aghaidh d'athar a rá go bhfuil sé ar thóir m'anama?”
1 Y David huyó de Najoth que es en Rama, y vínose delante de Jonathán, y dijo: ¿Qué he hecho yo? ¿cuál es mi maldad, ó cuál mi pecado contra tu padre, que él busca mi vida?
1 David aber floh von Najoth in Rama und kam und redete vor Jonathan: Was habe ich getan? Was habe ich mißgehandelt? Was habe ich gesündigt vor deinem Vater, daß er nach meinem Leben steht?
2 And he said to him, Far be the thought: you will not be put to death: see, my father does nothing, great or small, without giving me word of it: would he keep this secret from me? It is not so.
2 Jonathan lui répondit: Loin de là! tu ne mourras point. Mon père ne fait aucune chose, grande ou petite, sans m'en informer; pourquoi donc mon père me cacherait-il celle-là? Il n'en est rien.
2 D'fhreagair seisean é: “Cuir uait agus ná bí den tuairim sin. Ní mharóidh sé thú. Féach, ní dhéanann m'athair aon ní, le tábhacht ná gan tábhacht, gan é chur faoi mo bhráid. Cén fáth a gceilfeadh m'athair é seo orm? Ní fíor é.”
2 Y él le dijo: En ninguna manera; no morirás. He aquí que mi padre ninguna cosa hará, grande ni pequeña, que no me la descubra; ¿por qué pues me encubrirá mi padre este negocio? No será así.
2 Er aber sprach zu Ihm: Das sei ferne; du sollst nicht sterben. Siehe, mein Vater tut nichts, weder Großes noch Kleines, das er nicht meinen Ohren offenbare; warum sollte denn mein Vater dies vor mir verbergen? Es wird nicht so sein.
3 But David took his oath again and said, Your father sees that I am dear to you; so he says to himself, Let Jonathan have no idea of this, for it will be a grief to him; but as the Lord is living, and as your soul is living, there is only a step between me and death.
3 David dit encore, en jurant: Ton père sait bien que j'ai trouvé grâce à tes yeux, et il aura dit: Que Jonathan ne le sache pas; cela lui ferait de la peine. Mais l'Éternel est vivant et ton âme est vivante! il n'y a qu'un pas entre moi et la mort.
3 Ach thug Dáiví mionn arís agus dúirt: “Is maith is eol do d'athair go bhfuil an-chion agatsa orm, agus deir sé leis féin: ‘Ná bíodh a fhios seo ag Iónátán nó goillfidh sé air.’ Ach dar an Tiarna beo, agus dar do bheo féin, níl ach coiscéim idir mise agus an bás.”
3 Y David volvió á jurar, diciendo: Tu padre sabe claramente que yo he hallado gracia delante de tus ojos, y dirá: No sepa esto Jonathán, porque no tenga pesar: y ciertamente, vive Jehová y vive tu alma, que apenas hay un paso entre mí y la muerte.
3 Da schwur David weiter und sprach: Dein Vater weiß wohl, daß ich Gnade vor deinen Augen gefunden habe; darum wird er denken: Jonathan soll solches nicht wissen, es möchte ihn bekümmern. Wahrlich, so wahr der HERR lebt, und so wahr deine Seele lebt, es ist nur ein Schritt zwischen mir und dem Tode.
4 Then Jonathan said to David, Whatever your desire is, I will do it for you.
4 Jonathan dit à David: Je ferai pour toi ce que tu voudras.
4 Ansin dúirt Iónátán le Dáiví: “Cad a theastaíonn uait a dhéanfainn duit?”
4 Y Jonathán dijo á David: ¿Qué discurre tu alma, y harélo por ti?
4 Jonathan sprach zu David: Ich will an dir tun, was dein Herz begehrt.
5 And David said to Jonathan, Tomorrow is the new moon, and I will not be seated with the king at his table: but let me go to a safe place in the country till the evening.
5 Et David lui répondit: Voici, c'est demain la nouvelle lune, et je devrais m'asseoir avec le roi pour manger; laisse-moi aller, et je me cacherai dans les champs jusqu'au soir du troisième jour.
5 D'fhreagair Dáiví: “Féach, amárach an Ré Nua agus ba dhual domsa a bheith ag bord leis an rí; ach ligse dom dul i bhfolach sna goirt go tráthnóna [an tríú lá].
5 Y David respondió á Jonathán: He aquí que mañana será nueva luna, y yo acostumbro sentarme con el rey á comer: mas tú dejarás que me esconda en el campo hasta la tarde del tercer día.
5 David sprach zu ihm: Siehe, morgen ist der Neumond, da ich mit dem König zu Tisch sitzen sollte; so laß mich, daß ich mich auf dem Felde verberge bis an den Abend des dritten Tages.
6 And if your father takes note of the fact that I am away, say, David made a request to me for himself that he might go to Beth-lehem, to his town: for it is the time when his family make their offering year by year.
6 Si ton père remarque mon absence, tu diras: David m'a prié de lui laisser faire une course à Bethléhem, sa ville, parce qu'il y a pour toute la famille un sacrifice annuel.
6 Má thugann d'athair faoi deara mé a bheith as láthair, caithfidh tú a rá: ‘D'impigh Dáiví go díograiseach orm cead a thabhairt dó brostú leis go Beithil, a bhaile féin, mar go bhfuil an íobairt bhliantúil don fhine go léir á ceiliúradh ansiúd.’
6 Si tu padre hiciere mención de mí, dirás: Rogóme mucho que lo dejase ir presto á Beth-lehem su ciudad, porque todos los de su linaje tienen allá sacrificio aniversario.
6 Wird dein Vater nach mir fragen, so sprich: David bat mich, daß er gen Bethlehem, zu seiner Stadt, laufen möchte; denn es ist ein jährlich Opfer daselbst dem ganzen Geschlecht.
7 If he says, It is well, your servant will be at peace: but if he is angry, then it will be clear to you that he has an evil purpose in mind against me.
7 Et s'il dit: C'est bien! ton serviteur alors n'a rien à craindre; mais si la colère s'empare de lui, sache que le mal est résolu de sa part.
7 Má deir sé: ‘Tá go maith,’ tá do shearbhónta slán; ach má thagann fearg air, bíodh a fhios agat go bhfuil an t‑olc beartaithe aige.
7 Si él dijere, Bien está, paz tendrá tu siervo; mas si se enojare, sabe que la malicia es en él cosumada.
7 Wird er sagen: Es ist gut, so steht es wohl um deinen Knecht. Wird er aber ergrimmen, so wirst du merken, daß Böses bei ihm beschlossen ist.
8 So, then, be kind to your servant; for you have been united with your servant in an agreement made before the Lord: but if there is any wrongdoing in me, put me to death yourself; why take me to your father?
8 Montre donc ton affection pour ton serviteur, puisque tu as fait avec ton serviteur une alliance devant l'Éternel. Et, s'il y a quelque crime en moi, ôte-moi la vie toi-même, car pourquoi me mènerais-tu jusqu'à ton père?
8 Bí cineálta dílis dá bhrí sin le do shearbhónta, mar d'aontaigh tú thú féin leis de bhrí chonartha in ainm an Tiarna. Ach má táim ciontach, cuirse féin chun báis mé - cad ab áil leat do mo bhreith go dtí d'athair?”
8 Harás pues misericordia con tu siervo, ya que has traído tu siervo á alianza de Jehová contigo: y si maldad hay en mí mátame tú, que no hay necesidad de llevarme hasta tu padre.
8 So tue nun Barmherzigkeit an deinem Knecht; denn du hast mit mir, deinem Knecht, einen Bund im HERRN gemacht. Ist aber eine Missetat an mir, so töte du mich; denn warum wolltest du mich zu deinem Vater bringen?
9 And Jonathan said, Do not have such a thought: for if I saw that my father was designing evil against you, would I not give you word of it?
9 Jonathan lui dit: Loin de toi la pensée que je ne t'informerai pas, si j'apprends que le mal est résolu de la part de mon père et menace de t'atteindre!
9 D'fhreagair Iónátán: “Cuir uait, ná bí den tuairim sin. Dá mbeinnse cinnte de go raibh m'athair meáite ar olc a thabhairt sa mhullach ort, nach n‑inseoinn sin duit?”
9 Y Jonathán le dijo: Nunca tal te suceda; antes bien, si yo entendiera ser consumada la malicia de mi padre, para venir sobre ti, ¿no había yo de descubrírtelo?
9 Jonathan sprach: Das sei ferne von dir, daß ich sollte merken, daß Böses bei meinem Vater beschlossen wäre über dich zu bringen, und sollte es dir nicht ansagen.
10 Then David said to Jonathan, Who will give me word if your father gives you a rough answer?
10 David dit à Jonathan: Qui m'informera dans le cas où ton père te répondrait durement?
10 Ansin d'fhiafraigh Dáiví de Iónátán: “Cé a inseoidh dom é má thugann d'athair freagra dolba ort?”
10 Dijo entonces David á Jonathán: ¿Quién me dará aviso? ó ¿qué si tu padre te respondiere ásperamente?
10 David aber sprach: Wer will mir's ansagen, so dir dein Vater etwas Hartes antwortet?
11 And Jonathan said to David, Come, let us go out into the country. And the two of them went out together into the open country.
11 Et Jonathan dit à David: Viens, sortons dans les champs. Et ils sortirent tous deux dans les champs.
11 “Téanam,” arsa Iónátán le Dáiví, “téimis amach faoi na bánta.” D'imíodar araon amach faoi na bánta.
11 Y Jonathán dijo á David: Ven, salgamos al campo. Y salieron ambos al campo.
11 Jonathan sprach zu David: Komm, laß uns aufs Feld gehen! Und sie gingen beide hinaus aufs Feld.
12 And Jonathan said to David, May the Lord, the God of Israel, be witness; when I have had a chance of talking to my father, about this time tomorrow, if his feelings to David are good, will I not send and give you the news?
12 Jonathan dit à David: Je prends à témoin l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël! Je sonderai mon père demain ou après-demain; et, dans le cas où il serait bien disposé pour David, si je n'envoie vers toi personne pour t'en informer,
12 Ansin dúirt Iónátán le Dáiví: “Go raibh an Tiarna Dia Iosrael ina fhinné! Déanfaidh mé m'athair a thriail an taca seo amárach [nó an tríú lá]; má bhíonn gach ní ina cheart maidir le Dáiví agus nach gcuirim sin in iúl dó,
12 Entonces dijo Jonathán á David: Oh Jehová Dios de Israel, cuando habré yo preguntado á mi padre mañana á esta hora, ó después de mañana, y él apareciere bien para con David, si entonces no enviare á ti, y te lo descubriere,
12 Und Jonathan sprach zu David: HERR, Gott Israels, wenn ich erforsche an meinem Vater morgen und am dritten Tag, daß es wohl steht mit David, und nicht hinsende zu dir und es vor deinen Ohren offenbare,
13 May the Lord's punishment be on Jonathan, if it is my father's pleasure to do you evil and I do not give you word of it and send you away so that you may go in peace: and may the Lord be with you, as he has been with my father.
13 que l'Éternel traite Jonathan dans toute sa rigueur! Dans le cas où mon père trouverait bon de te faire du mal, je t'informerai aussi et je te laisserai partir, afin que tu t'en ailles en paix; et que l'Éternel soit avec toi, comme il a été avec mon père!
13 ansin go ndéana an Tiarna a leithéid seo le Iónátán - agus a thuilleadh fós. Má bheartaíonn m'athair urchóid a dhéanamh duit, cuirfidh mé é sin in iúl duit agus seolfaidh mé chun siúil thú agus éalóidh tú gan díobháil, agus go raibh an Tiarna leat mar a bhíodh le m'athair.
13 Jehová haga así á Jonathán, y esto añada. Mas si á mi padre pareciere bien hacerte mal, también te lo descubriré, y te enviaré, y te irás en paz: y sea Jehová contigo, como fué con mi padre.
13 so tue der HERR dem Jonathan dies und jenes. Wenn aber das Böse meinem Vater gefällt wider dich, so will ich's auch vor deinen Ohren offenbaren und dich ziehen lassen, daß du mit Frieden weggehst. Und der HERR sei mit dir, wie er mit meinem Vater gewesen ist.
14 And may you, while I am still living, O may you be kind to me, as the Lord is kind, and keep me from death!
14 Si je dois vivre encore, veuille user envers moi de la bonté de l'Éternel;
14 Má mhairim fós, taispeáin dom cineáltas buan an Tiarna féin; má fhaighim bás
14 Y si yo viviere, harás conmigo misericordia de Jehová; mas si fuere muerto,
14 Tue ich's nicht, so tue keine Barmherzigkeit des HERRN an mir, solange ich lebe, auch nicht, so ich sterbe.
15 And let not your mercy ever be cut off from my family, even when the Lord has sent destruction on all David's haters, cutting them off from the face of the earth.
15 et si je meurs, ne retire jamais ta bonté envers ma maison, pas même lorsque l'Éternel retranchera chacun des ennemis de David de dessus la face de la terre.
15 ná diúltaigh do chineáltas féin do mo theaghlach go brách. Nuair a scriosfaidh an Tiarna gach namhaid de chuid Dháiví de dhroim na talún,
15 No quitarás perpetuamente tu misericordia de mi casa. Cuando desarraigare Jehová uno por uno los enemigos de David de la tierra, aun á Jonathán quite de su casa, si te faltare.
15 Und wenn der HERR die Feinde Davids ausrotten wird, einen jeglichen aus dem Lande, so reiße du deine Barmherzigkeit nicht von meinem Hause ewiglich.
16 And if it comes about that the name of Jonathan is cut off from the family of David, the Lord will make David responsible.
16 Car Jonathan a fait alliance avec la maison de David. Que l'Éternel tire vengeance des ennemis de David!
16 ná scriostar ainm Iónátán ó theaghlach Dháiví, [nó éileoidh an Tiarna cuntas ar Dháiví]”
16 Así hizo Jonathán alianza con la casa de David, diciendo: Requiéralo Jehová de la mano de los enemigos de David.
16 Also machte Jonathan einen Bund mit dem Hause Davids und sprach: Der HERR fordere es von der Hand der Feinde Davids.
17 And Jonathan again took an oath to David, because of his love for him: for David was as dear to him as his very soul.
17 Jonathan protesta encore auprès de David de son affection pour lui, car il l'aimait comme son âme.
17 [Thug] Iónátán an mionn sollúnta arís do Dháiví dar a ghrá dó mar gur ghráigh sé é mar a rinne a anam féin.
17 Y tornó Jonathán á jurar á David, porque le amaba, porque le amaba como á su alma.
17 Und Jonathan fuhr fort und schwur David, so lieb hatte er ihn; denn er hatte ihn so lieb wie seine Seele.
18 Then Jonathan said to him, Tomorrow is the new moon: and it will be seen that you are not present, for there will be no one in your seat.
18 Jonathan lui dit: C'est demain la nouvelle lune; on remarquera ton absence, car ta place sera vide.
18 Dúirt Iónátán leis: “Amárach an Ré Nua; braithfear ar iarraidh thú mar go mbeidh do shuíochán follamh.
18 Díjole luego Jonathán: Mañana es nueva luna, y tú serás echado de menos, porque tu asiento estará vacío.
18 Und Jonathan sprach zu ihm: Morgen ist der Neumond, so wird man nach dir fragen; denn man wird dich vermissen, wo du zu sitzen pflegst.
19 And on the third day it will be specially noted, and you will go to the place where you took cover when the other business was in hand, waiting by the hill over there.
19 Tu descendras le troisième jour jusqu'au fond du lieu où tu t'étais caché le jour de l'affaire, et tu resteras près de la pierre d'Ézel.
19 Arú amárach ámh, tógfar an-cheann de thú a bheith ar iarraidh, agus ní foláir duit dul chun na háite ina ndeachaigh tú i bhfolach lá an bhirt, agus fanacht taobh leis an gcarnán cloch ansiúd.
19 Estarás pues tres días, y luego descenderás, y vendrás al lugar donde estabas escondido el día de trabajo, y esperarás junto á la piedra de Ezel;
19 Des dritten Tages aber komm bald hernieder und gehe an einen Ort, da du dich verbergest am Werktage, und setze dich an den Stein Asel.
20 And on the third day I will send arrows from my bow against its side as if at a mark.
20 Je tirerai trois flèches du côté de la pierre, comme si je visais un but.
20 Maidir liomsa, scaoilfidh mé trí saigheada cliathánach leis mar a dhéanfainn le sprioc.
20 Y yo tiraré tres saetas hacia aquel lado, como ejercitándome al blanco.
20 So will ich zu seiner Seite drei Pfeile schießen, als ob ich nach dem Ziel schösse.
21 And I will send my boy to have a look for the arrow. And if I say to him, See, the arrow is on this side of you; take it up! then you may come; for there is peace for you and no evil, by the living Lord.
21 Et voici, j'enverrai un jeune homme, et je lui dirai: Va, trouve les flèches. Si je lui dis: Voici, les flèches sont en deçà de toi, prends-les! alors viens, car il y a paix pour toi, et tu n'as rien à craindre, l'Éternel est vivant!
21 Ansin cuirfidh mé mo ghiolla uaim á rá: ‘Téigh agus faigh na saigheada.’ Má deirim leis an ngiolla: ‘Féach! tá na saigheada ar an taobh seo duit, beir leat iad,’ ansin ní miste duit teacht, mar beidh sé sábháilte agat agus ní bheidh aon chúis eagla agat dar an Tiarna beo.
21 Y luego enviaré el criado diciéndole: Ve, busca las saetas. Y si dijere al mozo: He allí las saetas más acá de ti, tómalas: tú vendrás, porque paz tienes, y nada hay de mal, vive Jehová.
21 Und siehe, ich will den Knaben senden: Gehe hin, suche die Pfeile! Werde ich zu dem Knaben sagen: Siehe, die Pfeile liegen hierwärts hinter dir, hole sie! so komm, denn es ist Friede und hat keine Gefahr, so wahr der HERR lebt.
22 But if I say to the boy, See, the arrow has gone past you: then go on your way, for the Lord has sent you away.
22 Mais si je dis au jeune homme: Voici, les flèches sont au delà de toi! alors va-t-en, car l'Éternel te renvoie.
22 Ach má deirim leis an ógánach: ‘Féach! tá na saigheada romhat amach.’ Ansin bailigh leat mar beidh an Tiarna é féin do do chur chun siúil.
22 Mas si yo dijere al mozo así: He allí las saetas más allá de ti: vete, porque Jehová te ha enviado.
22 Sage ich aber zum Jüngling: Siehe, die Pfeile liegen dortwärts vor dir! so gehe hin, denn der HERR hat dich lassen gehen.
23 As for what you and I were talking of, the Lord is between you and me for ever.
23 L'Éternel est à jamais témoin de la parole que nous nous sommes donnée l'un à l'autre.
23 Maidir leis an margadh a rinneamar lena chéile, mise agus tusa, sea, tá an Tiarna ina fhinné eadrainn go brách.”
23 Y cuanto á las palabras que yo y tú hemos hablado, sea Jehová entre mí y ti para siempre.
23 Was aber du und ich miteinander geredet haben, da ist der HERR zwischen mir und dir ewiglich.
24 So David went to a secret place in the country: and when the new moon came, the king took his place at the feast.
24 David se cacha dans les champs. C'était la nouvelle lune, et le roi prit place au festin pour manger.
24 Chuaigh Dáiví i bhfolach sna bánta; tháinig an Ré Nua agus shuigh an rí síos chun bia a ithe.
24 David pues se escondió en el campo, y venida que fué la nueva luna, sentóse el rey á comer pan.
24 David verbarg sich im Felde. Und da der Neumond kam, setzte sich der König zu Tisch, zu essen.
25 And the king took his seat, as at other times, by the wall: and Jonathan was in front, and Abner was seated by Saul's side, but there was no one in David's seat.
25 Le roi s'assit comme à l'ordinaire sur son siège contre la paroi, Jonathan se leva, et Abner s'assit à côté de Saül; mais la place de David resta vide.
25 Shuigh an rí mar ba ghnáth leis sa chathaoir ag an mballa; [shuigh] Iónátán os a chomhair, agus shuigh Aibnéar taobh le Sól, ach bhí ionad Dháiví follamh.
25 Y el rey se sentó en su silla, como solía, en el asiento junto á la pared, y Jonathán se levantó, y sentóse Abner al lado de Saúl, y el lugar de David estaba vacío.
25 Da sich aber der König gesetzt hatte an seinen Ort, wie er gewohnt war, an der Wand, stand Jonathan auf; Abner aber setzte sich an die Seite Sauls. Und man vermißte David an seinem Ort.
26 But Saul said nothing that day, for his thought was, Something has taken place making him unclean; it is clear that he is not clean.
26 Saül ne dit rien ce jour-là; car, pensa-t-il, c'est par hasard, il n'est pas pur, certainement il n'est pas pur.
26 Ach ní dúirt Sól aon ní an lá sin, mar shíl sé: “Tharla rud éigin dó; tá sé neamhghlan, tá sin go cinnte.”
26 Mas aquel día Saúl no dijo nada, porque se decía: Habrále acontecido algo, y no está limpio; no estará purificado.
26 Und Saul redete des Tages nichts; denn er gedachte; Es ist ihm etwas widerfahren, daß er nicht rein ist.
27 And on the day after the new moon, that is, the second day, there was still no one in David's seat: and Saul said to his son Jonathan, Why has the son of Jesse not come to the feast yesterday or today?
27 Le lendemain, second jour de la nouvelle lune, la place de David était encore vide. Et Saül dit à Jonathan, son fils: Pourquoi le fils d'Isaï n'a-t-il paru au repas ni hier ni aujourd'hui?
27 Ach an dara lá, an lá tar éis na Ré Nua, bhí áit Dháiví fós follamh. Agus dúirt Sól le Iónátán a mhac: “Cad ina thaobh nár tháinig mac Ieise chun an bhéile inné ná inniu?”
27 El día siguiente, el segundo día de la nueva luna, aconteció también que el asiento de David estaba vacío. Y Saúl dijo á Jonathán su hijo: ¿Por qué no ha venido á comer el hijo de Isaí hoy ni ayer?
27 Des andern Tages nach dem Neumond, da man David vermißte an seinem Ort, sprach Saul zu seinem Sohn Jonathan: Warum ist der Sohn Isai nicht zu Tisch gekommen, weder gestern noch heute?
28 And answering Saul, Jonathan said, He made a request to me that he might go to Beth-lehem,
28 Jonathan répondit à Saül: David m'a demandé la permission d'aller à Bethléhem.
28 D'fhreagair Iónátán Sól: “D'impigh Dáiví go díograiseach orm cead a thabhairt dó dul go Beithil:
28 Y Jonathán respondió á Saúl: David me pidió encarecidamente le dejase ir hasta Beth-lehem.
28 Jonathan antwortete Saul: Er bat mich sehr, daß er gen Bethlehem ginge,
29 Saying, Our family is making an offering in the town, and my brothers have given me orders to be there: so now, if I have grace in your eyes, let me go away and see my brothers. This is why he has not come to the king's table.
29 Il a dit: Laisse-moi aller, je te prie, car nous avons dans la ville un sacrifice de famille, et mon frère me l'a fait savoir; si donc j'ai trouvé grâce à tes yeux, permets que j'aille en hâte voir mes frères. C'est pour cela qu'il n'est point venu à la table du roi.
29 ‘Lig dom dul,’ ar sé, ‘mar tá íobairt na fine againn sa chathair agus d'ordaigh mo dheartháir dom a bheith i láthair. Má réitíonn tú le m'iarratas más ea, lig dom imeacht agus mo dheartháireacha a fheiceáil.’ Sin é faoi deara dó gan teacht go bord an rí.”
29 Y dijo: Ruégote que me dejes ir, porque tenemos sacrificio los de nuestro linaje en la ciudad, y mi hermano mismo me lo ha mandado; por tanto, si he hallado gracia en tus ojos, haré una escapada ahora, y visitaré á mis hermanos. Por esto pues no ha venido á la mesa del rey.
29 und sprach: Laß mich gehen; denn unser Geschlecht hat zu opfern in der Stadt, und mein Bruder hat mir's selbst geboten; habe ich Gnade vor deinen Augen gefunden, so will ich hinweg und meine Brüder sehen. Darum ist er nicht gekommen zu des Königs Tisch.
30 Then Saul was moved to wrath against Jonathan, and he said to him, You son of an evil and uncontrolled woman, have I not seen how you have given your love to the son of Jesse, to your shame and the shame of your mother?
30 Alors la colère de Saül s'enflamma contre Jonathan, et il lui dit: Fils pervers et rebelle, sais je pas que tu as pour ami le fils d'Isaï, à ta honte et à la honte de ta mère?

30 Entonces Saúl se enardeció contra Jonathán, y díjole: Hijo de la perversa y rebelde, ¿no sé yo que tú has elegido al hijo de Isaí para confusión tuya, y para confusión de la vergüenza de tu madre?
30 Da ergrimmte der Zorn Sauls wider Jonathan, und er sprach zu ihm: Du ungehorsamer Bösewicht! ich weiß wohl, daß du den Sohn Isais auserkoren hast, dir und deiner Mutter, die dich geboren hat, zur Schande.
31 For while the son of Jesse is living on the earth, your position is unsafe and your kingdom is in danger. So make him come here to me, for it is certainly right for him to be put to death.
31 Car aussi longtemps que le fils d'Isaï sera vivant sur la terre, il n'y aura point de sécurité ni pour toi ni pour ta royauté. Et maintenant, envoie-le chercher, et qu'on me l'amène, car il est digne de mort.
31 Fad a mhairfidh mac Ieise beo ar talamh, ní bheidh tú féin ná do chearta rí daingean gan bhaol. Cuir fios air, dá bhrí sin, agus tabhair chugam é, óir tá an bás i ndán dó.”
31 Porque todo el tiempo que el hijo de Isaí viviere sobre la tierra, ni tú serás firme, ni tu reino. Envía pues ahora, y traémelo, porque ha de morir.
31 Denn solange der Sohn Isais lebt auf Erden, wirst du, dazu auch dein Königreich, nicht bestehen. So sende nun hin und laß ihn herholen zu mir; denn er muß sterben.
32 And Jonathan, answering his father Saul, said to him, Why is he to be put to death? What has he done?
32 Jonathan répondit à Saül, son père, et lui dit: Pourquoi le ferait-on mourir? Qu'a-t-il fait?
32 Ansin d'fhreagair Iónátán Sól, a athair: “Cén fáth é a chur chun báis,” ar sé, “céard atá déanta aige?”
32 Y Jonathán respondió á su padre Saúl, y díjole: ¿Por qué morirá? ¿qué ha hecho?
32 Jonathan antwortete seinem Vater Saul und sprach zu ihm: Warum soll er sterben? Was hat er getan?
33 And Saul, pointing his spear at him, made an attempt to give him a wound: from which it was clear to Jonathan that his father's purpose was to put David to death.
33 Et Saül dirigea sa lance contre lui, pour le frapper. Jonathan comprit que c'était chose résolue chez son père que de faire mourir David.
33 Ach chaith Sól urchar dá shleá leis lena leagan ar lár; thuig Iónátán ansin go raibh sé beartaithe ag a athair Dáiví a chur chun báis.
33 Entonces Saúl le arrojó una lanza por herirlo: de donde entendió Jonathán que su padre estaba determinado á matar á David.
33 Da schoß Saul den Spieß nach ihm, daß er ihn spießte. Da merkte Jonathan, daß bei seinem Vater gänzlich beschlossen war, David zu töten,
34 So Jonathan got up from the table, burning with wrath, and took no part in the feast the second day of the month, being full of grief for David because his father had put shame on him.
34 Il se leva de table dans une ardente colère, et ne participa point au repas le second jour de la nouvelle lune; car il était affligé à cause de David, parce que son père l'avait outragé.
34 D'éirigh Iónátán ón mbord agus fraoch feirge air agus níor chaith sé aon bhia an dara lá sin den Ré Nua, mar gur ghoill cás Dháiví air mar gur mhaslaigh a athair é.
34 Y levantóse Jonathán de la mesa con exaltada ira, y no comió pan el segundo día de la nueva luna: porque tenía dolor á causa de David, porque su padre le había afrentado.
34 und stand auf vom Tisch mit grimmigem Zorn und aß des andern Tages nach dem Neumond kein Brot; denn er war bekümmert um David, daß ihn sein Vater also verdammte.
35 Now in the morning, Jonathan went out into the fields at the time he had said to David, and he had a little boy with him.
35 Le lendemain matin, Jonathan alla dans les champs au lieu convenu avec David, et il était accompagné d'un petit garçon.

35 Al otro día de mañana, salió Jonathán al campo, al tiempo aplazado con David, y un mozo pequeño con él.

36 And he said to the boy, Go and get the arrow I let loose from my bow. And while the boy was running, he sent an arrow past him.
36 Il lui dit: Cours, trouve les flèches que je vais tirer. Le garçon courut, et Jonathan tira une flèche qui le dépassa.
36 Dúirt sé lena ghiolla: “Rith agus faigh na saigheada atá le caitheamh agam,” agus fad a bhí an giolla ag rith chaith sé saighead roimhe amach.
36 Y dijo á su mozo: Corre y busca las saetas que yo tirare. Y como el muchacho iba corriendo, él tiraba la saeta que pasara más allá de él.
36 und sprach zu dem Knaben: Lauf und suche mir die Pfeile, die ich schieße! Da aber der Knabe lief, schoß er einen Pfeil über ihn hin.
37 And when the boy came to the place where the arrow was, Jonathan, crying out after the boy, said, Has it not gone past you?
37 Lorsqu'il arriva au lieu où était la flèche que Jonathan avait tirée, Jonathan cria derrière lui: La flèche n'est-elle pas plus loin que toi?
37 Nuair a shroich an giolla an áit inar chaith Iónátán an tsaighead, ghlaoigh Iónátán chun an ghiolla agus dúirt: “Nach bhfuil an tsaighead romhat amach?”
37 Y llegando el muchacho adonde estaba la saeta que Jonathán había tirado, Jonathán dió voces tras el muchacho, diciendo: ¿No está la saeta más allá de ti?
37 Und als der Knabe kam an den Ort, dahin Jonathan den Pfeil geschossen hatte, rief ihm Jonathan nach und sprach: Der Pfeil liegt dortwärts vor dir.
38 And Jonathan went on crying out after the boy, Be quick, do not keep waiting about, go quickly. And Jonathan's boy got the arrow and came back to his master.
38 Il lui cria encore: Vite, hâte-toi, ne t'arrête pas! Et le garçon de Jonathan ramassa les flèches et revint vers son maître.
38 Ghlaoigh Iónátán chun an ghiolla arís: “Brostaigh, corraigh ort, ná déan moill.” Bhailigh giolla Iónátán na saigheada agus tháinig ar ais chun a mháistir.
38 Y tornó á gritar Jonathán tras el muchacho: Date priesa, aligera, no te pares. Y el muchacho de Jonathán cogió las saetas, y vínose á su señor.
38 Und rief abermals ihm nach: Rasch! eile, und stehe nicht still! Da las der Knabe Jonathans Pfeile auf und brachte sie zu seinem Herrn.
39 But the boy had no idea what was going on; only Jonathan and David had knowledge of it.
39 Le garçon ne savait rien; Jonathan et David seuls comprenaient la chose.
39 Ní raibh tuairim dá laghad ag an ngiolla i dtaobh cad a bhí i gceist; ag Iónátán agus ag Dáiví amháin a bhí fios an scéil.
39 Empero ninguna cosa entendió el muchacho: solamente Jonathán y David entendían el negocio.
39 Und der Knabe wußte nichts darum; allein Jonathan und David wußten um die Sache.
40 And Jonathan gave his bow and arrows to the boy, and said to him, Take these and go back to the town.
40 Jonathan remit ses armes à son garçon, et lui dit: Va, porte-les à la ville.
40 Thug Iónátán a airm dá ghiolla ansin agus dúirt leis: “Imigh leat agus beir leat don chathair iad.”
40 Luego dió Jonathán sus armas á su muchacho, y díjole: Vete y llévalas á la ciudad.
40 Da gab Jonathan seine Waffen seinem Knaben und sprach zu ihm: Gehe hin und trage sie in die Stadt.
41 And when the boy had gone, David came from his secret place by the hill, and falling to the earth went down on his face three times: and they gave one another a kiss, weeping together, till David's grief was the greater.
41 Après le départ du garçon, David se leva du côté du midi, puis se jeta le visage contre terre et se prosterna trois fois. Les deux amis s'embrassèrent et pleurèrent ensemble, David surtout fondit en larmes.
41 Nuair a d'imigh an giolla d'éirigh Dáiví ón áit ina raibh sé ag taobh an chairn agus chaith é féin ar a bhéal ar an talamh agus chrom faoi thrí. Ansin phógadar a chéile agus ghoileadar go fuíoch le chéile nó gur tháinig Dáiví chuige féin.
41 Y luego que el muchacho se hubo ido, se levantó David de la parte del mediodía, é inclinóse tres veces postrándose hasta la tierra: y besándose el uno al otro, lloraron el uno con el otro, aunque David lloró más.
41 Da der Knabe hineinkam, stand David auf vom Ort gegen Mittag und fiel auf sein Antlitz zur Erde und beugte sich dreimal nieder, und sie küßten sich miteinander und weinten miteinander, David aber am allermeisten.
42 And Jonathan said to David, Go in peace, for we two have taken an oath, in the name of the Lord, saying, The Lord will be between me and you, and between my seed and your seed for ever.
42 Et Jonathan dit à David: Va en paix, maintenant que nous avons juré l'un et l'autre, au nom de l'Éternel, en disant: Que l'Éternel soit à jamais entre moi et toi, entre ma postérité et ta postérité! (20:43) David se leva, et s'en alla, et Jonathan rentra dans la ville.
