1 And Samuel said to Saul, The Lord sent me to put the holy oil on you and to make you king over his people, over Israel: so give ear now to the words of the Lord.
1 Samuel dit à Saül: C'est moi que l'Éternel a envoyé pour t'oindre roi sur son peuple, sur Israël: écoute donc ce que dit l'Éternel.
1 Dúirt Samúéil le Sól: “Mise an té a sheol an Tiarna chun tú a ungadh i do rí ar Iosrael, a phobal. Tabhair cluas dá réir sin do bhriathra an Tiarna.
1 Y Samuel dijo á Saúl: Jehová me envió á que te ungiese por rey sobre su pueblo Israel: oye pues la voz de las palabras de Jehová.
1 Samuel aber sprach zu Saul: Der HERR hat mich gesandt, daß ich dich zum König salbte über sein Volk Israel; so höre nun die Stimme der Worte des HERRN.
2 The Lord of armies says, I will give punishment to Amalek for what he did to Israel, fighting against him on the way when Israel came out of Egypt.
2 Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées: Je me souviens de ce qu'Amalek fit à Israël, lorsqu'il lui ferma le chemin à sa sortie d'Égypte.
2 Seo mar a deir Tiarna na Slua: ‘Déanfaidh mé díoltas ar son a ndearna Amáiléic ar Iosrael nuair a chuir sé ina gcoinne agus iad ar an mbealach aníos as an Éigipt.
2 Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Acuérdome de lo que hizo Amalec á Israel; que se le opuso en el camino, cuando subía de Egipto.
2 So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Ich habe bedacht, was Amalek Israel tat und wie er ihm den Weg verlegte, da er aus Ägypten zog.
3 Go now and put Amalek to the sword, putting to the curse all they have, without mercy: put to death every man and woman, every child and baby at the breast, every ox and sheep, camel and ass.
3 Va maintenant, frappe Amalek, et dévouez par interdit tout ce qui lui appartient; tu ne l'épargneras point, et tu feras mourir hommes et femmes, enfants et nourrissons, boeufs et brebis, chameaux et ânes.
3 Téigh anois agus buail Amáiléic agus cuir é féin agus a bhfuil aige faoin mbang. Ná tabhair anacal dó, ach scrios é idir fhear agus bhean, leanbh agus bhunóc, dhamh agus chaora, chamall agus asal.’ ”
3 Ve pues, y hiere á Amalec, y destuiréis en él todo lo que tuviere: y no te apiades de él: mata hombres y mujeres, niños y mamantes, vacas y ovejas, camellos y asnos.
3 So zieh nun hin und schlage die Amalekiter und verbanne sie mit allem, was sie haben; schone ihrer nicht sondern töte Mann und Weib, Kinder und Säuglinge, Ochsen und Schafe, Kamele und Esel!
4 And Saul sent for the people and had them numbered in Telaim, two hundred thousand footmen and ten thousand men of Judah.
4 Saül convoqua le peuple, et en fit la revue à Thelaïm: il y avait deux cent mille hommes de pied, et dix mille hommes de Juda.
4 Rinne Sól an pobal a thionól agus á áireamh i dTaláím, dhá chéad míle coisí, agus deich míle d'fhir Iúdá.
4 Saúl pues juntó el pueblo, y reconociólos en Telaim, doscientos mil de á pie, y diez mil hombres de Judá.
4 Saul ließ solches vor das Volk kommen; und er zählte sie zu Telaim: zweihunderttausend Mann Fußvolk und zehntausend Mann aus Juda.
5 And Saul came to the town of Amalek, and took up his position in the valley secretly.
5 Saül marcha jusqu'à la ville d'Amalek, et mit une embuscade dans la vallée.
5 Tháinig Sól go cathair Amáiléic agus chuaigh in eadarnaí sa ghleann.
5 Y viniendo Saúl á la ciudad de Amalec, puso emboscada en el valle.
5 Und da Saul kam zu der Amalekiter Stadt, machte er einen Hinterhalt am Bach
6 And Saul said to the Kenites, Go away, take yourselves out from among the Amalekites, or destruction will overtake you with them: for you were kind to the children of Israel when they came out of Egypt. So the Kenites went away from among the Amalekites.
6 Il dit aux Kéniens: Allez, retirez-vous, sortez du milieu d'Amalek, afin que je ne vous fasse pas périr avec lui; car vous avez eu de la bonté pour tous les enfants d'Israël, lorsqu'ils montèrent d'Égypte. Et les Kéniens se retirèrent du milieu d'Amalek.
6 Agus dúirt Sól leis na Céinigh: “Seo libh síos! Imígí, fágaigí bhur mbailte i measc na nAmáiléiceach le heagla go scriosfainn sibhse mar aon leo, óir bhí sibh cineálta le clann Iosrael go léir nuair a thángadar ón Éigipt aníos.” Scar na Céinigh dá bhrí sin ó na hAmáiléicigh.
6 Y dijo Saúl al Cineo: Idos, apartaos, y salid de entre los de Amalec, para que no te destruya juntamente con él: pues que tú hiciste misericordia con todos los hijos de Israel, cuando subían de Egipto. Apartóse pues el Cineo de entre los de Amalec.
6 und ließ den Kenitern sagen: Geht hin, weicht und zieht herab von den Amalekiter, daß ich euch nicht mit ihnen aufräume; denn ihr tatet Barmherzigkeit an allen Kindern Israel, da sie aus Ägypten zogen. Also machten sich die Keniter von den Amalekitern.
7 And Saul made an attack on the Amalekites from Havilah on the road to Shur, which is before Egypt.
7 Saül battit Amalek depuis Havila jusqu'à Schur, qui est en face de l'Égypte.
7 Scrios Sól na hAmáiléicigh dá bhrí sin, ó Havalá go Siúr, atá lastoir den Éigipt.
7 Y Saúl hirió á Amalec, desde Havila hasta llegar á Shur, que está á la frontera de Egipto.
7 Da schlug Saul die Amalekiter von Hevila an bis gen Sur, das vor Ägypten liegt,
8 He took Agag, king of the Amalekites, prisoner, and put all the people to the sword without mercy.
8 Il prit vivant Agag, roi d'Amalek, et il dévoua par interdit tout le peuple en le passant au fil de l'épée.
8 Ghabh sé Agag rí Amáiléic ina bheatha, agus chuir na daoine go léir chun báis le faobhar claímh faoin mbang.
8 Y tomó vivo á Agag rey de Amalec, mas á todo el pueblo mató á filo de espada.
8 und griff Agag, der Amalekiter König, lebendig, und alles Volk verbannte er mit des Schwertes Schärfe.
9 But Saul and the people did not put Agag to death, and they kept the best of the sheep and the oxen and the fat beasts and the lambs, and whatever was good, not desiring to put them to the curse: but everything which was bad and of no use they put to the curse.
9 Mais Saül et le peuple épargnèrent Agag, et les meilleures brebis, les meilleurs boeufs, les meilleures bêtes de la seconde portée, les agneaux gras, et tout ce qu'il y avait de bon; ils ne voulurent pas le dévouer par interdit, et ils dévouèrent seulement tout ce qui était méprisable et chétif.
9 Ach rinne Sól agus an pobal anacal ar Agag agus ar thogha na gcaorach agus an eallaigh, na mart ramhar agus na n‑uan, agus gach rud fónta; níorbh áil leis iadsan a chur faoin mbang; níor chuireadar faoin mbang ach gach suarachán agus gach truán. Sól á Thréigean
9 Y Saúl y el pueblo perdonaron á Agag, y á lo mejor de las ovejas, y al ganado mayor, á los gruesos y á los carneros, y á todo lo bueno: que no lo quisieron destruir: mas todo lo que era vil y flaco destruyeron.
9 Aber Saul und das Volk verschonten den Agag, und was gute Schafe und Rinder und gemästet war, und die Lämmer und alles, was gut war, und wollten's nicht verbannen; was aber schnöde und untüchtig war, das verbannten sie.
10 Then the Lord said to Samuel,
10 L'Éternel adressa la parole à Samuel, et lui dit:

10 Y fué palabra de Jehová á Samuel, diciendo:
10 Da geschah des HERRN Wort zu Samuel und sprach:
11 It is no longer my pleasure for Saul to be king; for he is turned back from going in my ways, and has not done my orders. And Samuel was very sad, crying to the Lord in prayer all night.
11 Je me repens d'avoir établi Saül pour roi, car il se détourne de moi et il n'observe point mes paroles. Samuel fut irrité, et il cria à l'Éternel toute la nuit.
11 “Is aithreach liom go ndearna mé rí de Shól, óir thug sé droim liom, agus d'fhág mo lorg, agus rinne faillí i m'orduithe.” Tháinig suaitheadh mór ar Shamúéil agus chaith sé an oíche ar fad ag glaoch chun an Tiarna.
11 Pésame de haber puesto por rey á Saúl, porque se ha vuelto de en pos de mí, y no ha cumplido mis palabras. Y apesadumbróse Samuel, y clamó á Jehová toda aquella noche.
11 Es reut mich, daß ich Saul zum König gemacht habe; denn er hat sich hinter mir abgewandt und meine Worte nicht erfüllt. Darob ward Samuel zornig und schrie zu dem HERRN die ganze Nacht.
12 And early in the morning he got up and went to Saul; and word was given to Samuel that Saul had come to Carmel and put up a pillar, and had gone from there down to Gilgal.
12 Il se leva de bon matin, pour aller au-devant de Saül. Et on vint lui dire: Saül est allé à Carmel, et voici, il s'est érigé un monument; puis il s'en est retourné, et, passant plus loin, il est descendu à Guilgal.
12 Chuaigh Samúéil amach ar maidin go moch le bualadh le Sól; fuair Samúéil scéala go raibh sé imithe go Cairmeil chun leacht a thógáil dó féin, agus gur chas agus gur ghabh sé ar aghaidh as sin síos go Gilgeál.
12 Madrugó luego Samuel para ir á encontrar á Saúl por la mañana; y fue dado aviso á Samuel, diciendo: Saúl ha venido al Carmel, y he aquí él se ha levantado un trofeo, y después volviendo, ha pasado y descendido á Gilgal.
12 Und Samuel machte sich früh auf, daß er Saul am Morgen begegnete. Und ihm ward angesagt, daß Saul gen Karmel gekommen wäre und hätte sich ein Siegeszeichen aufgerichtet und wäre umhergezogen und gen Gilgal hinabgekommen.
13 And Samuel came to Saul; and Saul said to him, May the blessing of the Lord be with you: I have done what was ordered by the Lord.
13 Samuel se rendit auprès de Saül, et Saül lui dit: Sois béni de l'Éternel! J'ai observé la parole de l'Éternel.
13 Nuair a tháinig Samúéil mar a raibh Sól dúirt Sól leis: “Go raibh beannacht ort faoin Tiarna! Chomhlíon mé orduithe an Tiarna.”
13 Vino pues Samuel á Saúl, y Saúl le dijo: Bendito seas tu de Jehová; yo he cumplido la palabra de Jehová.
13 Als nun Samuel zu Saul kam, sprach Saul zu ihm: Gesegnet seist du dem HERRN! Ich habe des HERRN Wort erfüllt.
14 And Samuel said, What then is this sound of the crying of sheep and the noise of oxen which comes to my ears?
14 Samuel dit: Qu'est-ce donc que ce bêlement de brebis qui parvient à mes oreilles, et ce mugissement de boeufs que j'entends?
14 Ach d'fhreagair Samúéil: “Céard is ciall más ea leis an méileach caorach seo i mo chluasa agus an bhúireach damh seo i m'éisteacht?”
14 Samuel entonces dijo: ¿Pues qué balido de ganados y bramido de bueyes es este que yo oigo con mis oídos?
14 Samuel antwortete: Was ist denn das für ein Blöken der Schafe in meinen Ohren und ein Brüllen der Rinder, die ich höre?
15 And Saul said, They have taken them from the Amalekites: for the people have kept the best of the sheep and of the oxen as an offering to the Lord your God; all the rest we have given up to destruction.
15 Saül répondit: Ils les ont amenés de chez les Amalécites, parce que le peuple a épargné les meilleures brebis et les meilleurs boeufs, afin de les sacrifier à l'Éternel, ton Dieu; et le reste, nous l'avons dévoué par interdit.
15 “Thugadar leo iad ó na hAmáiléicigh,” arsa Sól, “mar go ndearna an pobal anacal ar thogha na gcaorach agus na ndamh lena n‑ofráil don Tiarna, do Dhia-sa; chuireamar an chuid eile faoin mbang.”
15 Y Saúl respondió: De Amalec los han traído; porque el pueblo perdonó á lo mejor de las ovejas y de las vacas, para sacrificarlas á Jehová tu Dios; pero lo demás lo destruimos.
15 Saul sprach: Von den Amalekitern haben sie sie gebracht; denn das Volk verschonte die besten Schafe und Rinder um des Opfers willen des HERRN, deines Gottes; das andere haben wir verbannt.
16 Then Samuel said to Saul, Say no more! Let me give you word of what the Lord has said to me this night. And he said to him, Say on.
16 Samuel dit à Saül: Arrête, et je te déclarerai ce que l'Éternel m'a dit cette nuit. Et Saül lui dit: Parle!
16 Ansin dúirt Samúéil le Sól: “Fan! Inseoidh mé duit cad a dúirt an Tiarna liom aréir.” “Abair leat,” ar seisean.
16 Entonces dijo Samuel á Saúl: Déjame declararte lo que Jehová me ha dicho esta noche. Y él le respondió: Di.
16 Samuel aber antwortete Saul: Laß dir sagen, was der HERR mit mir geredet hat diese Nacht. Er sprach: Sage an!
17 And Samuel said, Though you may seem little to yourself, are you not head of the tribes of Israel? for the Lord with the holy oil made you king over Israel,
17 Samuel dit: Lorsque tu étais petit à tes yeux, n'es-tu pas devenu le chef des tribus d'Israël, et l'Éternel ne t'a-t-il pas oint pour que tu sois roi sur Israël?
17 Dúirt Samúéil: “Bíodh gur beag an meas atá agat ort féin nach bhfuil tú i do cheann ar threibheanna Iosrael? Rinne an Tiarna thú a ungadh i do rí ar Iosrael
17 Y dijo Samuel: Siendo tú pequeño en tus ojos ¿no has sido hecho cabeza á las tribus de Israel, y Jehová te ha ungido por rey sobre Israel?
17 Samuel sprach: Ist's nicht also? Da du klein warst vor deinen Augen, wurdest du das Haupt unter den Stämmen Israels, und der HERR salbte dich zum König über Israel?
18 And the Lord sent you on a journey and said, Go and put to the curse those sinners, the Amalekites, fighting against them till every one is dead.
18 L'Éternel t'avait fait partir, en disant: Va, et dévoue par interdit ces pécheurs, les Amalécites; tu leur feras la guerre jusqu'à ce que tu les aies exterminés.
18 agus sheol an Tiarna ar mhisean thú á rá: ‘Imigh agus leag na peacaigh úd, na hAmáiléicigh, faoin mbang agus troid ina n‑aghaidh nó go scriosfar iad.’
18 Y envióte Jehová en jornada, y dijo: Ve, y destruye los pecadores de Amalec, y hazles guerra hasta que los acabes.
18 Und der HERR sandte dich auf den Weg und sprach: Zieh hin und verbanne die Sünder, die Amalekiter, und streite wider sie, bis du sie vertilgst!
19 Why then did you not do the orders of the Lord, but by violently taking their goods did evil in the eyes of the Lord?
19 Pourquoi n'as-tu pas écouté la voix de l'Éternel? pourquoi t'es-tu jeté sur le butin, et as-tu fait ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel?
19 Cad chuige mar sin nár gheill tú do ghlór an Tiarna? Cad chuige ar thug tú ruathar ar an gcreach agus an rud is olc i bhfianaise an Tiarna a dhéanamh?”
19 ¿Por qué pues no has oído la voz de Jehová, sino que vuelto al despojo, has hecho lo malo en los ojos de Jehová?
19 Warum hast du nicht gehorcht der Stimme des HERRN, sondern hast dich zum Raub gewandt und übel gehandelt vor den Augen des HERRN?
20 And Saul said, Truly, I have done the orders of the Lord and have gone the way the Lord sent me; I have taken Agag, the king of Amalek, and have given the Amalekites up to destruction.
20 Saül répondit à Samuel: J'ai bien écouté la voix de l'Éternel, et j'ai suivi le chemin par lequel m'envoyait l'Éternel. J'ai amené Agag, roi d'Amalek, et j'ai dévoué par interdit les Amalécites;
20 D'fhreagair Sól Samúéil: “Ní amhlaidh a bhí; ach ghéill mé do ghlór an Tiarna, agus chuaigh mé ar an misean ar ar sheol an Tiarna mé; thug mé Agag rí na nAmáiléiceach liom agus leag mé na hAmáiléicigh faoin mbang.
20 Y Saúl respondió á Samuel: Antes he oído la voz de Jehová, y fuí á la jornada que Jehová me envió, y he traído á Agag rey de Amalec, y he destruído á los Amalecitas:
20 Saul antwortete Samuel: Habe ich doch der Stimme des HERRN gehorcht und bin hingezogen des Wegs, den mich der HERR sandte, und habe Agag, der Amalekiter König, gebracht und die Amalekiter verbannt;
21 But the people took some of their goods, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which were put to the curse, to make an offering of them to the Lord your God in Gilgal.
21 mais le peuple a pris sur le butin des brebis et des boeufs, comme prémices de ce qui devait être dévoué, afin de les sacrifier à l'Éternel, ton Dieu, à Guilgal.
21 Ach thug an pobal leo ón gcreach togha na gcaorach agus na ndamh a bhí faoin mbang le híobairt don Tiarna do Dhia i nGilgeál.”
21 Mas el pueblo tomó del despojo ovejas y vacas, las primicias del anatema, para sacrificarlas á Jehová tu Dios en Gilgal.
21 Aber das Volk hat vom Raub genommen, Schafe und Rinder, das Beste unter dem Verbannten, dem HERRN deinem Gott, zu opfern in Gilgal.
22 And Samuel said, Has the Lord as much delight in offerings and burned offerings as in the doing of his orders? Truly, to do his pleasure is better than to make offerings, and to give ear to him than the fat of sheep.
22 Samuel dit: L'Éternel trouve-t-il du plaisir dans les holocaustes et les sacrifices, comme dans l'obéissance à la voix de l'Éternel? Voici, l'obéissance vaut mieux que les sacrifices, et l'observation de sa parole vaut mieux que la graisse des béliers.
22 Ach d'fhreagair Samúéil: “An fearr leis an Tiarna tabhartais loiscthe agus íobairtí ná go n‑éistfí go humhal le glór an Tiarna? Féach! is fearr umhlaíocht ná íobairt, is fearr géilliúlacht ná geir reithí.
22 Y Samuel dijo: ¿Tiene Jehová tanto contentamiento con los holocaustos y víctimas, como en obedecer á las palabras de Jehová? Ciertamente el obedecer es mejor que los sacrificios; y el prestar atención que el sebo de los carneros:
22 Samuel aber sprach: Meinst du, daß der HERR Lust habe am Opfer und Brandopfer gleich wie am Gehorsam gegen die Stimme des Herrn? Siehe, Gehorsam ist besser denn Opfer, und Aufmerken besser denn das Fett von Widdern;
23 For to go against his orders is like the sin of those who make use of secret arts, and pride is like giving worship to images. Because you have put away from you the word of the Lord, he has put you from your place as king.
23 Car la désobéissance est aussi coupable que la divination, et la résistance ne l'est pas moins que l'idolâtrie et les théraphim. Puisque tu as rejeté la parole de l'Éternel, il te rejette aussi comme roi.
23 Peaca asarlaíochta is ea an cheannairc. Éigeart agus íoladhradh is ea an easumhlaíocht. Toisc gur thug tusa an diúltú do bhriathar an Tiarna, thug seisean an diúltú duitse mar rí.”
23 Porque como pecado de adivinación es la rebelión, y como ídolos é idolatría el infringir. Por cuanto tú desechaste la palabra de Jehová, él también te ha desechado para que no seas rey.
23 denn Ungehorsam ist eine Zaubereisünde, und Widerstreben ist Abgötterei und Götzendienst. Weil du nun des HERRN Wort verworfen hast, hat er dich auch verworfen, daß du nicht König seist.
24 And Saul said to Samuel, Great is my sin: for I have gone against the orders of the Lord and against your words: because, fearing the people, I did what they said.
24 Alors Saül dit à Samuel: J'ai péché, car j'ai transgressé l'ordre de l'Éternel, et je n'ai pas obéi à tes paroles; je craignais le peuple, et j'ai écouté sa voix.
24 Dúirt Sól le Samúéil: “Pheacaigh mé óir sháraigh mé aithne an Tiarna agus d'orduithese, mar gurbh eagal liom an pobal agus gur ghéill mé dá nglór.
24 Entonces Saúl dijo á Samuel: Yo he pecado; que he quebrantado el dicho de Jehová y tus palabras, porque temí al pueblo, consentí á la voz de ellos. Perdona pues ahora mi pecado,
24 Da sprach Saul zu Samuel: Ich habe gesündigt, daß ich des HERRN Befehl und deine Worte übertreten habe; denn ich fürchtete das Volk und gehorchte ihrer Stimme.
25 So now, let my sin have forgiveness, and go back with me to give worship to the Lord.
25 Maintenant, je te prie, pardonne mon péché, reviens avec moi, et je me prosternerai devant l'Éternel.
25 Maith dom mo pheaca anois le do thoil; fill ar ais liom agus adhrfaidh mé an Tiarna.”
25 Y vuelve conmigo para que adore á Jehová.
25 Und nun vergib mir die Sünden und kehre mit mir um, daß ich den HERRN anbete.
26 And Samuel said to Saul, I will not go back with you: for you have put away from you the word of the Lord, and the Lord has put you from your place as king over Israel.
26 Samuel dit à Saül: Je ne retournerai point avec toi; car tu as rejeté la parole de l'Éternel, et l'Éternel te rejette, afin que tu ne sois plus roi sur Israël.
26 Ach dúirt Samúéil le Sól: “Ní fhillfidh mé leat, mar gur thug tú droim le briathar an Tiarna; thug an Tiarna droim leatsa chomh maith mar rí ar Iosrael.”
26 Y Samuel respondió á Saúl: No volveré contigo; porque desechaste la palabra de Jehová, y Jehová te ha desechado para que no seas rey sobre Israel.
26 Samuel sprach zu Saul: Ich will nicht mit dir umkehren; denn du hast des HERRN Wort verworfen, und der HERR hat dich auch verworfen, daß du nicht König seist über Israel.
27 And when Samuel was turning round to go away, Saul took the skirt of his robe in his hand, and the cloth came away.
27 Et comme Samuel se tournait pour s'en aller, Saül le saisit par le pan de son manteau, qui se déchira.
27 Nuair a bhí Samúéil ag casadh uaidh ar a sháil, rug Sól ar fhabhra a bhrait agus stróic é.
27 Y volviéndose Samuel para irse, él echó mano de la orla de su capa, y desgarróse.
27 Und als Samuel sich umwandte, daß er wegginge, ergriff er ihn bei einem Zipfel seines Rocks, und er zerriß.
28 And Samuel said to him, The Lord has taken away the kingdom of Israel from you this day by force, and has given it to a neighbour of yours who is better than you.
28 Samuel lui dit: L'Éternel déchire aujourd'hui de dessus toi la royauté d'Israël, et il la donne à un autre, qui est meilleur que toi.
28 Dúirt Samúéil leis: “Tá ríocht Iosrael stróicthe uait inniu ag an Tiarna agus tugtha aige do chomharsa duit, is fearr d'fhear ná thú.
28 Entonces Samuel le dijo: Jehová ha desgarrado hoy de ti el reino de Israel, y lo ha dado á tu prójimo mejor que tú.
28 Da sprach Samuel zu ihm: Der HERR hat das Königreich Israel heute von dir gerissen und deinem Nächsten gegeben, der besser ist denn du.
29 And further, the Glory of Israel will not say what is false, and his purpose may not be changed: for he is not a man, whose purpose may be changed.
29 Celui qui est la force d'Israël ne ment point et ne se repent point, car il n'est pas un homme pour se repentir.
29 Ach dá ainneoin sin, ní inseoidh Glóir Iosrael bréag ná ní rachaidh ar gcúl ina fhocal; mar ní duine é le go rachadh sé ar gcúl ina fhocal.”
29 Y también el Vencedor de Israel no mentirá, ni se arrepentirá: porque no es hombre para que se arrepienta.
29 Auch lügt der Held in Israel nicht, und es gereut ihn nicht; denn er ist nicht ein Mensch, daß ihn etwas gereuen sollte.
30 Then he said, Great is my sin: but still, give me honour now before the heads of my people and before Israel, and come back with me so that I may give worship to the Lord your God.
30 Saül dit encore: J'ai péché! Maintenant, je te prie, honore-moi en présence des anciens de mon peuple et en présence d'Israël; reviens avec moi, et je me prosternerai devant l'Éternel, ton Dieu.
30 “Pheacaigh mé,” arsa [Sól], “ach tabhair urraim éigin dom i láthair seanóirí mo phobail agus i láthair Iosrael, agus fill ar ais liom le go ndéanfainn an Tiarna do Dhia a adhradh.”
30 Y él dijo: Yo he pecado: mas ruégote que me honres delante de los ancianos de mi pueblo, y delante de Israel; y vuelve conmigo para que adore á Jehová tu Dios.
30 Er aber sprach: Ich habe gesündigt; aber ehre mich doch jetzt vor den Ältesten meines Volks und vor Israel und kehre mit mir um, daß ich den HERRN, deinen Gott, anbete.
31 So Samuel went back after Saul, and Saul gave worship to the Lord.
31 Samuel retourna et suivit Saül, et Saül se prosterna devant l'Éternel.
31 Lean Samúéil Sól ar ais más ea agus rinne Sól an Tiarna a adhradh.
31 Y volvió Samuel tras Saúl, y adoró Saúl á Jehová.
31 Also kehrte Samuel um und folgte Saul nach, daß Saul den HERRN anbetete.
32 Then Samuel said, Make Agag, the king of the Amalekites, come here to me. And Agag came to him shaking with fear. And Agag said, Truly the pain of death is past.
32 Puis Samuel dit: Amenez-moi Agag, roi d'Amalek. Et Agag s'avança vers lui d'un air joyeux; il disait: Certainement, l'amertume de la mort est passée.
32 Ansin dúirt Samúeil: “Tugaigí Agag rí Amáiléic chugam,” agus tháinig Agag chuige [in aghaidh a chos]. “Is searbh an deoch é an bás,” ar sé.
32 Después dijo Samuel: Traedme á Agag rey de Amalec. Y Agag vino á él delicadamente. Y dijo Agag: Ciertamente se pasó la amargura de la muerte.
32 Samuel aber sprach: Laßt her zu mir bringen Agag, der Amalekiter König. Und Agag ging zu ihm getrost und sprach: Also muß man des Todes Bitterkeit vertreiben.
33 And Samuel said, As your sword has made women without children, so now your mother will be without children among women. And Agag was cut up by Samuel, bone from bone, before the Lord in Gilgal.
33 Samuel dit: De même que ton épée a privé des femmes de leurs enfants, ainsi ta mère entre les femmes sera privée d'un fils. Et Samuel mit Agag en pièces devant l'Éternel, à Guilgal.
33 Dúirt Samúéil: “Mar a d'fhág do chlaíomh mná gan chlann, Fágfar do mháthair gan chlann i measc na mban.” Ansin rinne Samúéil Agag a choscairt ina ablach i láthair an Tiarna i nGilgeál.
33 Y Samuel dijo: Como tu espada dejó las mujeres sin hijos, así tu madre será sin hijo entre las mujeres. Entonces Samuel cortó en pedazos á Agag delante de Jehová en Gilgal.
33 Samuel sprach: Wie dein Schwert Weiber ihrer Kinder beraubt hat, also soll auch deine Mutter der Kinder beraubt sein unter den Weibern. Also hieb Samuel den Agag zu Stücken vor dem HERRN in Gilgal.
34 Then Samuel went to Ramah; and Saul went up to his house in Gibeah, in the land of Saul.
34 Samuel partit pour Rama, et Saül monta dans sa maison à Guibea de Saül.
34 Chuaigh Samúéil go Rámá, agus chuaigh Sól suas chun a thí i nGibeá le Sól.
34 Fuése luego Samuel á Rama, y Saúl subió á su casa en Gabaa de Saúl.
34 Und Samuel ging hin gen Rama; Saul aber zog hinauf zu seinem Hause zu Gibea Sauls.
35 And Samuel never saw Saul again till the day of his death; but Samuel was sorrowing for Saul: and it was no longer the Lord's pleasure for Saul to be king over Israel.
35 Samuel n'alla plus voir Saül jusqu'au jour de sa mort; car Samuel pleurait sur Saül, parce que l'Éternel se repentait d'avoir établi Saül roi d'Israël.
