1 And the children of Israel again did evil in the eyes of the Lord; and the Lord gave them into the hands of the Philistines for forty years.
1 Les enfants d'Israël firent encore ce qui déplaît à l'Éternel; et l'Éternel les livra entre les mains des Philistins, pendant quarante ans.
1 Chrom clann Iosrael ar an olc a dhéanamh arís i bhfianaise an Tiarna, agus thug an Tiarna ar láimh iad do na Filistínigh ar feadh daichead bliain.
1 Y Los hijos de Israel tornaron á hacer lo malo en los ojos de Jehová; y Jehová los entregó en mano de los Filisteos, por cuarenta años.
1 Und die Kinder Israel taten fürder übel vor dem HERRN; und der HERR gab sie in die Hände der Philister vierzig Jahre.
2 Now there was a certain man of Zorah of the family of the Danites, and his name was Manoah; and his wife had never given birth to a child.
2 Il y avait un homme de Tsorea, de la famille des Danites, et qui s'appelait Manoach. Sa femme était stérile, et n'enfantait pas.
2 Bhí fear ó Zorá de threibh Dhán darbh ainm Mánóach, agus bhí a bhean aimrid, gan aon chlann uirthi.
2 Y había un hombre de Sora, de la tribu de Dan, el cual se llamaba Manoa; y su mujer era estéril, que nunca había parido.
2 Es war aber ein Mann zu Zora von einem Geschlecht der Daniter, mit Namen Manoah; und sein Weib war unfruchtbar und gebar nicht.
3 And the angel of the Lord came to the woman, and said to her, See now! though you have never given birth to children, you will be with child and give birth to a son.
3 Un ange de l'Éternel apparut à la femme, et lui dit: Voici, tu es stérile, et tu n'as point d'enfants; tu deviendras enceinte, et tu enfanteras un fils.
3 Thaispeáin aingeal an Tiarna é féin don bhean seo agus dúirt sé léi: “Féach, tá tú aimrid, gan chlann [ach gabhfaidh tú gin agus béarfaidh tú mac].
3 A esta mujer apareció el ángel de Jehová, y díjole: He aquí que tú eres estéril, y no has parido: mas concebirás y parirás un hijo.
3 Und der Engel des HERRN erschien dem Weibe und sprach zu ihr: Siehe, du bist unfruchtbar und gebierst nicht; aber du wirst schwanger werden und einen Sohn gebären.
4 Now then take care to have no wine or strong drink and to take no unclean thing for food;
4 Maintenant prends bien garde, ne bois ni vin ni liqueur forte, et ne mange rien d'impur.
4 Bí ar d'aire le barr cúraim dá bhrí sin as seo amach, agus ná hól aon fhíon ná aon deoch chrua, agus ná hith aon ní neamhghlan,
4 Ahora, pues, mira que ahora no bebas vino, ni sidra, ni comas cosa inmunda.
4 So hüte dich nun, daß du nicht Wein noch starkes Getränk trinkst und nichts Unreines essest;
5 For you are with child and will give birth to a son; his hair is never to be cut, for the child is to be separate to God from his birth; and he will take up the work of freeing Israel from the hands of the Philistines.
5 Car tu vas devenir enceinte et tu enfanteras un fils. Le rasoir ne passera point sur sa tête, parce que cet enfant sera consacré à Dieu dès le ventre de sa mère; et ce sera lui qui commencera à délivrer Israël de la main des Philistins.
5 mar féach, gabhfaidh tú gin agus bearfaidh tú mac. Ná luíodh rásúr ar a cheann mar beidh an mac ina naizíreach do Dhia ó bhroinn a mháthar; eisean a chuirfidh tús le fuascailt Iosrael ó láimh na bhFilistíneach.”
5 Porque tú te harás embarazada, y parirás un hijo: y no subirá navaja sobre su cabeza, porque aquel niño será Nazareo á Dios desde el vientre, y él comenzará á salvar á Israel de mano de los Filisteos.
5 Denn du wirst schwanger werden und einen Sohn gebären, dem kein Schermesser soll aufs Haupt kommen. Denn der Knabe wird ein Geweihter Gottes sein von Mutterleibe an; und er wird anfangen, Israel zu erlösen aus der Philister Hand.
6 Then the woman came in, and said to her husband, A man came to me, and his form was like the form of a god, causing great fear; I put no question to him about where he came from, and he did not give me his name;
6 La femme alla dire à son mari; Un homme de Dieu est venu vers moi, et il avait l'aspect d'un ange de Dieu, un aspect redoutable. Je ne lui ai pas demandé d'où il était, et il ne m'a pas fait connaître son nom.
6 D'imigh an bhean ansin agus dúirt lena céile: “Tháinig giolla ó Dhia chugam agus bhí a ghnúis mar ghnúis aingeal Dé le maorgacht. Níor chuir mé ceist air cárbh as dó, ná níor inis seisean dom cad ab ainm dó.
6 Y la mujer vino y contólo á su marido, diciendo: Un varón de Dios vino á mí, cuyo aspecto era como el aspecto de un ángel de Dios, terrible en gran manera; y no le pregunté de dónde ni quién era, ni tampoco él me dijo su nombre.
6 Da kam das Weib und sagte es ihrem Mann an und sprach: Es kam ein Mann Gottes zu mir, und seine Gestalt war anzusehen wie ein Engel Gottes, gar erschrecklich, daß ich ihn nicht fragte, woher oder wohin; und er sagte mir nicht, wie er hieße.
7 But he said to me, You are with child and will give birth to a son; and now do not take any wine or strong drink or let anything unclean be your food; for the child will be separate to God from his birth to the day of his death.
7 Mais il m'a dit: Tu vas devenir enceinte, et tu enfanteras un fils; et maintenant ne bois ni vin ni liqueur forte, et ne mange rien d'impur, parce que cet enfant sera consacré à Dieu dès le ventre de sa mère jusqu'au jour de sa mort.
7 Ach dúirt sé liom: ‘Gabhfaidh tú gin, féach, agus béarfaidh tú mac; ná hól aon fhíon ná aon deoch chrua, dá bhrí sin, agus ná hith aon ní neamhghlan, mar beidh an mac ina naizíreach do Dhia ó lá a shaolaithe go lá a bháis.’ ”
7 Y díjome: He aquí que tú concebirás, y parirás un hijo: por tanto, ahora no bebas vino, ni sidra, ni comas cosa inmunda; porque este niño desde el vientre será Nazareo á Dios hasta el día de su muerte.
7 Er sprach aber zu mir: Siehe, du wirst schwanger werden und einen Sohn gebären. So trinke nun keinen Wein noch starkes Getränk und iß nichts Unreines; denn der Knabe soll ein Geweihter Gottes sein von Mutterleibe an bis an seinen Tod.
8 Then Manoah made prayer to the Lord, and said, O Lord, let the man of God whom you sent come to us again and make clear to us what we are to do for the child who is to come.
8 Manoach fit cette prière à l'Éternel: Ah! Seigneur, que l'homme de Dieu que tu as envoyé vienne encore vers nous, et qu'il nous enseigne ce que nous devons faire pour l'enfant qui naîtra!
8 Ansin rinne Mánóach achainí chun an Tiarna agus dúirt: “A Thiarna, tagadh, impím ort, an giolla Dé a chuir tú cheana, chugainn arís; agus múineadh sé dúinn céard atá le déanamh againn leis an mac nuair a shaolófar é.”
8 Entonces oró Manoa á Jehová, y dijo: Ah, Señor mío, yo te ruego que aquel varón de Dios que enviaste, torne ahora á venir á nosotros, y nos enseñe lo que hayamos de hacer con el niño que ha de nacer.
8 Da bat Manoah den HERRN und sprach: Ach HERR, laß den Mann Gottes wieder zu uns kommen, den du gesandt hast, daß er uns lehre, was wir mit dem Knaben tun sollen, der geboren soll werden.
9 And God gave ear to the voice of Manoah; and the angel of God came to the woman again when she was seated in the field; but her husband Manoah was not with her.
9 Dieu exauça la prière de Manoach, et l'ange de Dieu vint encore vers la femme. Elle était assise dans un champ, et Manoach, son mari, n'était pas avec elle.
9 D'éist an Tiarna le glór Mhánóach agus tháinig aingeal Dé arís chun na mná agus í ina suí sa ghort, gan Mánóach a céile ina teannta.
9 Y Dios oyó la voz de Manoa: y el ángel de Dios volvió otra vez á la mujer, estando ella en el campo; mas su marido Manoa no estaba con ella.
9 Und Gott erhörte die Stimme Manoahs; und der Engel Gottes kam wieder zum Weibe. Sie saß aber auf dem Felde, und ihr Mann Manoah war nicht bei ihr.
10 So the woman, running quickly, gave her husband the news, saying, I have seen the man who came to me the other day.
10 Elle courut promptement donner cette nouvelle à son mari, et lui dit: Voici, l'homme qui était venu l'autre jour vers moi m'est apparu.
10 Rith sí le teann deabhaidh agus dúirt lena fear: “Féach, an fear a tháinig chugam an lá eile, thaibhsigh sé arís dom.”
10 Y la mujer corrió prontamente, y noticiólo á su marido, diciéndole: Mira que se me ha aparecido aquel varón que vino á mí el otro día.
10 Da lief sie eilend und sagte es ihrem Mann an und sprach zu ihm: Siehe, der Mann ist mir erschienen, der jenes Tages zu mir kam.
11 And Manoah got up and went after his wife, and came up to the man and said to him, Are you the man who was talking to this woman? And he said, I am.
11 Manoach se leva, suivit sa femme, alla vers l'homme, et lui dit: Est-ce toi qui as parlé à cette femme? Il répondit: C'est moi.
11 D'éirigh Mánóach agus lean a bhean agus tháinig chun an fhir agus dúirt leis: “An tú an té a labhair leis an mbean seo?” “Is mé,” ar sé.
11 Y levantóse Manoa, y siguió á su mujer; y así que llegó al varón, díjole: ¿Eres tú aquel varón que hablaste á la mujer? Y él dijo: Yo soy.
11 Manoah machte sich auf und ging seinem Weibe nach und kam zu dem Mann und sprach zu ihm: Bist du der Mann, der mit dem Weibe geredet hat? Er sprach: Ja.
12 And Manoah said, Now when your words come true, what is to be the rule for the child and what will be his work?
12 Manoach dit: Maintenant, si ta parole s'accomplit, que faudra-t-il observer à l'égard de l'enfant, et qu'y aura-t-il à faire?
12 Ansin dúirt Mánóach: “Anois, nuair a chomhlíonfar do bhriathra, cén sort riail bheatha a bheidh ag an ógánach agus conas a dhéanfaidh sé é féin a iompar?”
12 Entonces Manoa dijo: Cúmplase pues tu palabra. ¿Qué orden se tendrá con el niño, y qué ha de hacer?
12 Und Manoah sprach: Wenn nun kommen wird, was du geredet hast, welches soll des Knaben Weise und Werk sein?
13 And the angel of the Lord said to Manoah, Let the woman take note of what I have said to her.
13 L'ange de l'Éternel répondit à Manoach: La femme s'abstiendra de tout ce que je lui ai dit.
13 Agus dúirt aingeal an Tiarna le Mánóach: “Na nithe a choisc mé ar an mbean seo, seachnaíodh [seisean] chomh maith.
13 Y el ángel de Jehová respondió á Manoa: La mujer se guardará de todas las cosas que yo le dije:
13 Der Engel des HERRN sprach zu Manoah: Vor allem, was ich dem Weibe gesagt habe, soll sie sich hüten.
14 She is to have nothing which comes from the vine for her food, and let her take no wine or strong drink or anything which is unclean; let her take care to do all I have given her orders to do.
14 Elle ne goûtera d'aucun produit de la vigne, elle ne boira ni vin ni liqueur forte, et elle ne mangera rien d'impur; elle observera tout ce que je lui ai prescrit.
14 Ná blaiseadh [sé] aon ní de thoradh na fíniúna, agus ná hóladh sé aon fhíon ná aon deoch chrua, agus ná hitheadh sé aon ní neamhghlan; déanadh sé de réir na n‑orduithe go léir a thug mé don bhean seo.”
14 Ella no comerá cosa que proceda de vid que da vino; no beberá vino ni sidra, y no comerá cosa inmunda: ha de guardar todo lo que le mandé.
14 Sie soll nicht essen was aus dem Weinstock kommt, und soll keinen Wein noch starkes Getränk trinken und nichts Unreines essen; alles, was ich ihr geboten habe, soll sie halten.
15 And Manoah said to the angel of the Lord, Now let us keep you while we make ready a young goat for you.
15 Manoach dit à l'ange de l'Éternel: Permets-nous de te retenir, et de t'apprêter un chevreau.
15 Dúirt Mánóach le haingeal an Tiarna: “Fan farainn, le do thoil, nó go n‑ullmhóimid meannán duit,”
15 Entonces Manoa dijo al ángel de Jehová: Ruégote permitas que te detengamos, y aderezaremos un cabrito que poner delante de ti.
15 Manoah sprach zu dem Engel des HERRN: Laß dich doch halten; wir wollen dir ein Ziegenböcklein zurichten.
16 And the angel of the Lord said to Manoah, Though you keep me I will not take of your food; but if you will make a burned offering, let it be offered to the Lord. For it had not come into Manoah's mind that he was the angel of the Lord.
16 L'ange de l'Éternel répondit à Manoach: Quand tu me retiendrais, je ne mangerais pas de ton mets; mais si tu veux faire un holocauste, tu l'offriras à l'Éternel. Manoach ne savait point que ce fût un ange de l'Éternel.
16 mar nach raibh a fhios ag Mánóach gurbh é aingeal an Tiarna é. Dúirt aingeal an Tiarna le Mánóach: “Fiú amháin má fhanaim faraibh, ní íosfaidh mé bhur mbia; ach más mian libh íobairt uileloiscthe a dhéanamh, ofráil í don Tiarna.”
16 Y el ángel de Jehová respondió á Manoa: Aunque me detengas no comeré de tu pan: mas si quisieres hacer holocausto, sacrifícalo á Jehová. Y no sabía Manoa que aquél fuese ángel de Jehová.
16 Aber der Engel des HERRN antwortete Manoah: Wenn du gleich mich hier hältst, so esse ich doch von deiner Speise nicht. Willst du aber dem HERRN ein Brandopfer tun, so magst du es opfern. Denn Manoah wußte nicht, daß es der Engel des HERRN war.
17 Then Manoah said to the angel of the Lord, What is your name, so that when your words come true we may give you honour?
17 Et Manoach dit à l'ange de l'Éternel: Quel est ton nom, afin que nous te rendions gloire, quand ta parole s'accomplira?
17 Ansin dúirt Mánóach le haingeal an Tiarna: “Cad is ainm duit, i dtreo go dtabharfaimís ómós duit nuair a chomhlíonfar do bhriathra?”
17 Entonces dijo Manoa al ángel de Jehová: ¿Cómo es tu nombre, para que cuando se cumpliere tu palabra te honremos?
17 Und Manoah sprach zum Engel des HERRN: Wie heißest du? daß wir dich preisen, wenn nun kommt, was du geredet hast.
18 But the angel of the Lord said to him, Why are you questioning me about my name, seeing that it is a wonder?
18 L'ange de l'Éternel lui répondit: Pourquoi demandes-tu mon nom? Il est merveilleux.
18 D'fhreagair aingeal an Tiarna é: “Cad a ba áil leat ag fiafraí m'ainm díom, mar is iontach é.”
18 Y el ángel de Jehová respondió: ¿Por qué preguntas por mi nombre, que es oculto?
18 Aber der Engel des HERRN sprach zu ihm: Warum fragst du nach meinem Namen, der doch wundersam ist?
19 So Manoah took the young goat with its meal offering, offering it on the rock to the Lord, who did strange things.
19 Manoach prit le chevreau et l'offrande, et fit un sacrifice à l'Éternel sur le rocher. Il s'opéra un prodige, pendant que Manoach et sa femme regardaient.
19 Ansin thóg Mánóach an meannán leis an abhlann agus d'ofráil é mar uileloscadh ar an gcarraig don Tiarna, an té a dhéanann iontais a chur i gcrích.
19 Y Manoa tomó un cabrito de las cabras y un presente, y sacrificólo sobre una peña á Jehová: y el ángel hizo milagro á vista de Manoa y de su mujer.
19 Da nahm Manoah ein Ziegenböcklein und Speisopfer und opferte es auf einem Fels dem HERRN. Und Er tat Wunderbares-Manoah aber und sein Weib sahen zu;
20 And when the flame went up to heaven from the altar, the angel of the Lord went up in the flame of the altar, while Manoah and his wife were looking on; and they went down on their faces to the earth.
20 Comme la flamme montait de dessus l'autel vers le ciel, l'ange de l'Éternel monta dans la flamme de l'autel. A cette vue, Manoach et sa femme tombèrent la face contre terre.
20 Nuair a bhí an bhladhm ag dul in airde chun na bhflaitheas ón altóir, ghabh aingeal an Tiarna suas i lasracha na haltóra os comhair súl Mhánóach agus a mhná, agus thiteadar ar a mbéal agus ar a bhfiacla ar an talamh.
20 Porque aconteció que como la llama subía del altar hacia el cielo, el ángel de Jehová subió en la llama del altar á vista de Manoa y de su mujer, los cuales se postraron en tierra sobre sus rostros.
20 denn da die Lohe auffuhr vom Altar gen Himmel, fuhr der Engel des HERRN in der Lohe des Altars mit hinauf. Da das Manoah und sein Weib sahen, fielen sie zur Erde auf ihr Angesicht.
21 But the angel of the Lord was seen no more by Manoah and his wife. Then it was clear to Manoah that he was the angel of the Lord.
21 L'ange de l'Éternel n'apparut plus à Manoach et à sa femme. Alors Manoach comprit que c'était l'ange de l'Éternel,
21 Níor thaispeáin aingeal an Tiarna é féin a thuilleadh do Mhánóach agus dá bhean; thuig Mánóach as sin gurbh é aingeal an Tiarna a bhí ann.
21 Y el ángel de Jehová no tornó á aparecer á Manoa ni á su mujer. Entonces conoció Manoa que era el ángel de Jehová.
21 Und der Engel des HERRN erschien nicht mehr Manoah und seinem Weibe. Da erkannte Manoah, daß es der Engel des HERRN war,
22 And Manoah said to his wife, Death will certainly be our fate, for it is a god whom we have seen.
22 et il dit à sa femme: Nous allons mourir, car nous avons vu Dieu.
22 Ansin dúirt Mánóach lena bhean: “Gheobhaimid bás, gheobhaimid, mar chonaiceamar Dia.”
22 Y dijo Manoa á su mujer: Ciertamente moriremos, porque á Dios hemos visto.
22 und sprach zu seinem Weibe: Wir müssen des Todes sterben, daß wir Gott gesehen haben.
23 But his wife said to him, If the Lord was purposing our death, he would not have taken our burned offering and our meal offering, or have given us such orders about the child.
23 Sa femme lui répondit: Si l'Éternel eût voulu nous faire mourir, il n'aurait pas pris de nos mains l'holocauste et l'offrande, il ne nous aurait pas fait voir tout cela, et il ne nous aurait pas maintenant fait entendre pareilles choses.
23 Ach dúirt a bhean leis: ‘Dá mba mhian leis an Tiarna sinn a chur chun báis, ní ghlacfadh sé íobairt uileloiscthe ná abhlann ónár lámha, ní thaispeánfadh sé na nithe seo go léir dúinn, ná ní inseodh sé a leithéidí seo dúinn.”
23 Y su mujer le respondió: Si Jehová nos quisiera matar, no tomara de nuestras manos el holocausto y el presente, ni nos hubiera mostrado todas estas cosas, ni en tal tiempo nos habría anunciado esto.
23 Aber sein Weib antwortete ihm: Wenn der HERR Lust hätte, uns zu töten, so hätte er das Brandopfer und Speisopfer nicht genommen von unsern Händen; er hätte uns auch nicht alles solches erzeigt noch uns solches hören lassen, wie jetzt geschehen ist.
24 So the woman gave birth to a son, and gave him the name Samson; and he became a man and the blessing of the Lord was on him.
24 La femme enfanta un fils, et lui donna le nom de Samson. L'enfant grandit, et l'Éternel le bénit.
24 Rug an bhean mac agus thug sí Samsón air. D'fhás an leanbh, agus chuir an Tiarna a bheannacht air,
24 Y la mujer parió un hijo, y llamóle por nombre Samsón. Y el niño creció, y Jehová lo bendijo.
24 Und das Weib gebar einen Sohn und hieß ihn Simson. Und der Knabe wuchs, und der HERR segnete ihn.
25 And the spirit of the Lord first came on him in Mahaneh-dan, between Zorah and Eshtaol.
25 Et l'esprit de l'Éternel commença à l'agiter à Machané Dan, entre Tsorea et Eschthaol.
