1 And this was the part marked out for the tribe of Manasseh, because he was the oldest son of Joseph. As for Machir, the oldest son of Manasseh, the father of Gilead, because he was a man of war he had Gilead and Bashan.
1 Une part échut aussi par le sort à la tribu de Manassé, car il était le premier-né de Joseph. Makir, premier-né de Manassé et père de Galaad, avait eu Galaad et Basan, parce qu'il était un homme de guerre.
1 Fuair Manaise a chuid ar cranna mar gurbh é céadghin Iósaef é; do Mhácaír, céadghin Mhanaise, agus athair Ghileád, tugadh Gileád agus Báiseán, mar ba dhual do fhear faobhair.
1 Y Tuvo también suerte la tribu de Manasés, porque fué primogénito de José. Machîr, primogénito de Manasés, y padre de Galaad, el cual fué hombre de guerra, tuvo á Galaad y á Basán.
1 Und das Los fiel dem Stamm Manasse, denn er ist Josephs erster Sohn, und fiel auf Machir, den ersten Sohn Manasses, den Vater Gileads, denn er war ein streitbarer Mann; darum ward ihm Gilead und Basan.
2 And as for the rest of the children of Manasseh, their heritage was given to them by families; for the children of Abiezer, and for the children of Helek, and for the children of Asriel, and for the children of Shechem, and for the children of Hepher, and for the children of Shemida: these were the male children of Manasseh, the son of Joseph, by their families.
2 On donna par le sort une part aux autres fils de Manassé, selon leurs familles, aux fils d'Abiézer, aux fils de Hélek, aux fils d'Asriel, aux fils de Sichem, aux fils de Hépher, aux fils de Schemida: ce sont là les enfants mâles de Manassé, fils de Joseph, selon leurs familles.
2 Tugadh don chuid eile de threibh Mhanaise oidhreacht de réir a bhfiní - do chlann Aibíeizir, do chlann Héilic, do chlann Aisríéil, do chlann Sheicim, do chlann Héifir, do chlann Shimídeá; ba shin iad síol chlann mhac Mhanaise mac Iósaef, de réir a bhfiní.
2 Tuvieron también suerte los otros hijos de Manasés conforme á sus familias: los hijos de Abiezer, y los hijos de Helec, y los hijos de Esriel, y los hijos de Sichêm, y los hijos de Hepher, y los hijos de Semida; estos fueron los hijos varones de Manasés hijo de José, por sus familias.
2 Den andern Kindern aber Manasses nach ihren Geschlechtern fiel es auch, nämlich den Kindern Abiesers, den Kindern Heleks, den Kindern Asriels, den Kindern Sichems, den Kindern Hephers und den Kindern Semidas. Das sind die Kinder Manasses, des Sohnes Josephs, die Männer, nach ihren Geschlechtern.
3 But Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, had no sons, but only daughters; and these are the names of his daughters: Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
3 Tselophchad, fils de Hépher, fils de Galaad, fils de Makir, fils de Manassé, n'eut point de fils, mais il eut des filles dont voici les noms: Machla, Noa, Hogla, Milca et Thirtsa.
3 Zalofachád mac Héifir, mac Ghileád, mac Mhácaír, mac Mhanaise, ní raibh aon mhac aige ach iníonacha darbh ainm Machlá agus Noá agus Hoglá agus Milceá agus Tirzeá.
3 Pero Salphaad, hijo de Hepher, hijo de Galaad, hijo de Machîr, hijo de Manasés, no tuvo hijos, sino hijas, los nombres de las cuales son estos: Maala, Noa, Hogla, Milchâ, y Tirsa.
3 Aber Zelophehad, der Sohn Hephers, des Sohnes Gilead, des Sohnes Machir, des Sohnes Manasses, hatte keine Söhne, sondern Töchter, und ihre Namen sind diese: Mahela, Noa, Hogla, Milka, Thirza;
4 And they came before Eleazar the priest, and Joshua, the son of Nun, and before the chiefs, saying, The Lord gave orders to Moses to give us a heritage among our brothers: so in agreement with the orders of the Lord he gave them a heritage among their father's brothers.
4 Elles se présentèrent devant le sacrificateur Éléazar, devant Josué, fils de Nun, et devant les princes, en disant: L'Éternel a commandé à Moïse de nous donner un héritage parmi nos frères. Et on leur donna, selon l'ordre de l'Éternel, un héritage parmi les frères de leur père.
4 Thángadar seo go dtí Eileázár an sagart agus go dtí Iósua mac Nún agus na ceannairí. “D'ordaigh an Tiarna do Mhaois,” ar siad, “oidhreacht a thabhairt dúinn i measc ár mbráithre.” Tugadh oidhreacht dóibh dá bhrí sin i measc bráithre a n‑athar de réir mar a d'ordaigh an Tiarna.
4 Estas vinieron delante de Eleazar sacerdote, y de Josué hijo de Nun, y de los príncipes, y dijeron: Jehová mandó á Moisés que nos diese herencia entre nuestros hermanos. Y él les dió herencia entre los hermanos del padre de ellas, conforme al dicho de Jehová.
4 und sie traten vor den Priester Eleasar und vor Josua, den Sohn Nuns, und vor die Obersten und sprachen: Der HERR hat Mose geboten, daß er uns solle Erbteil geben unter unsern Brüdern. Und man gab ihnen Erbteil unter den Brüdern ihres Vaters nach dem Befehl des HERRN.
5 And ten parts were given to Manasseh, in addition to the land of Gilead and Bashan, which is on the other side of Jordan;
5 Il échut dix portions à Manassé, outre le pays de Galaad et de Basan, qui est de l'autre côté du Jourdain.
5 Ar an tslí sin fuair Manaise deich ranna seachas dúiche Ghileád agus Báiseán lastall den Iordáin,
5 Y cayeron á Manasés diez suertes á más de la tierra de Galaad y de Basán, que está de la otra parte del Jordán:
5 Es fielen aber auf Manasse zehn Meßschnüre, außer dem Lande Gilead und Basan, das jenseit des Jordans liegt;
6 Because the daughters of Manasseh had a heritage among his sons, and the land of Gilead was the property of the other sons of Manasseh.
6 Car les filles de Manassé eurent un héritage parmi ses fils, et le pays de Galaad fut pour les autres fils de Manassé.
6 mar go bhfuair iníonacha Mhanaise oidhreacht chomh maith lena mhic. Leis an gcuid eile de chlann mhac Mhanaise dúiche Ghileád.
6 Porque las hijas de Manasés poseyeron herencia entre sus hijos: y la tierra de Galaad fué de los otros hijos de Manasés.
6 denn die Töchter Manasse nahmen Erbteil unter seinen Söhnen, und das Land Gilead war den andern Kindern Manasses.
7 And the limit of Manasseh's land was from Asher to Michmethath, which is before Shechem; the line goes on to the right hand, to the people of En-tappuah.
7 La limite de Manassé s'étendait d'Aser à Micmethath, qui est près de Sichem, et allait à Jamin vers les habitants d'En Tappuach.
7 Ar thaobh Áiséar ba é Micmeatát os comhair Sheicim teorainn Mhanaise; ghabh sí ó dheas ansin go Iaisíb ag tobar Thapúach.
7 Y fué el término de Manasés desde Aser hasta Michmetat, la cual está delante de Sichêm; y va este término á la mano derecha, á los que habitan en Tappua.
7 Und die Grenze Manasses war von Asser gen Michmethath, das vor Sichem liegt, und reicht zur Rechten an die von En-Thappuah;
8 The land of Tappuah was the property of Manasseh; but Tappuah on the edge of Manasseh was the property of the children of Ephraim.
8 Le pays de Tappuach était aux fils de Manassé, mais Tappuach sur la frontière de Manassé était aux fils d'Éphraïm.
8 Le Manaise dúiche Thapúach, ach le clann Eafráim baile Thapúach féin ar an teorainn le Manaise.
8 Y la tierra de Tappua fué de Manasés; pero Tappua, que está junto al término de Manasés, es de los hijos de Ephraim.
8 denn das Land Thappuah ward dem Manasse; aber Thappuah an der Grenze Manasses ward den Kindern Ephraim;
9 And the limit goes down to the stream Kanah, to the south of the stream: these towns were Ephraim's among the towns of Manasseh; Manasseh's limit was on the north side of the stream, ending at the sea:
9 La limite descendait au torrent de Kana, au midi du torrent. Ces villes étaient à Éphraïm, au milieu des villes de Manassé. La limite de Manassé au nord du torrent aboutissait à la mer.
9 Ghabh an teorainn síos ansin go sileán Cháná [ba le treibh Eafráim na bailte laisteas den sileán seachas iad siúd a bhí acu i measc bailte Mhanaise; lastuaidh den sileán a bhí críocha Mhanaise] agus shroich ceann scríbe ag an bhfarraige.
9 Y desciende este término al arroyo de Cana, hacia el mediodía del arroyo. Estas ciudades de Ephraim están entre las ciudades de Manasés: y el término de Manasés es desde el norte del mismo arroyo, y sus salidas son á la mar.
9 darnach kommt sie herab zum Bach Kana zur Mittagsseite des Bachs, die Städte daselbst sind Ephraims unter den Städten Manasses; die Grenze Manasses aber geht weiter an der Mitternachtseite des Baches und endet am Meer.
10 To the south it is Ephraim's, and to the north it is Manasseh's, and the sea is his limit; and they are touching Asher on the north, and Issachar on the east.
10 Le territoire du midi était à Éphraïm, celui du nord à Manassé, et la mer leur servait de limite; ils touchaient à Aser vers le nord, et à Issacar vers l'orient.
10 Ó dheas bhí Eafráim; ó thuaidh bhí Manaise, agus an fharraige mar theorainn acu araon; shíneadar chomh fada le hÁiséar thuaidh agus Íosácár thoir.
10 Ephraim al mediodía, y Manasés al norte, y la mar es su término: y encuéntranse con Aser á la parte del norte, y con Issachâr al oriente.
10 Dem Ephraim ward's gegen Mittag und dem Manasse gegen Mitternacht, und das Meer ist seine Grenze; und sie sollen stoßen an Asser von Mitternacht und an Isaschar von Morgen.
11 In Issachar and Asher, Manasseh had Beth-shean and its daughter-towns, and Ibleam and its daughter-towns, and the people of Dor and its daughter-towns, and the people of En-dor and its daughter-towns, and the people of Taanach and its daughter-towns, and the people of Megiddo and its daughter-towns, that is, the three hills.
11 Manassé possédait dans Issacar et dans Aser: Beth Schean et les villes de son ressort, Jibleam et les villes de son ressort, les habitants de Dor et les villes de son ressort, les habitants d'En Dor et les villes de son ressort, les habitants de Thaanac et les villes de son ressort, et les habitants de Meguiddo et les villes de son ressort, trois contrées.
11 In Íosácár agus in Áiséar bhí ag Manaise: Béit Seán agus a shráidbhailte máguaird; Ibleám agus a shráidbhailte, lucht Dhór agus a shráidbhailte, lucht Éan Dór agus a shráidbhailte, lucht Thánác agus a shráidbhailte, lucht Mhigideo agus a shráidbhailte, agus trian Neifit.
11 Tuvo también Manasés en Issachâr y en Aser á Beth-san y sus aldeas, é Ibleam y sus aldeas, y los moradores de Dor y sus aldeas, y los moradores de Endor y sus aldeas, y los moradores de Taanach y sus aldeas, y los moradores de Megiddo y sus aldeas: tres provincias.
11 So hatte nun Manasse unter Isaschar und Asser: Beth-Sean und seine Ortschaften, Jibleam und seine Ortschaften und die zu Dor und seine Ortschaften und die zu Endor und seine Ortschaften und die zu Thaanach und seine Ortschaften und die zu Megiddo und seine Ortschaften und den dritten Teil Nepheths.
12 But the children of Manasseh were not able to make the people of those towns go out; but the Canaanites would go on living in that land.
12 Les fils de Manassé ne purent pas prendre possession de ces villes, et les Cananéens voulurent rester dans ce pays.
12 De bhrí nár fhéad clann Mhanaise greim a fháil ar na cathracha sin, lean na Canánaigh orthu ina gcónaí sa dúiche sin.
12 Mas los hijos de Manasés no pudieron echar á los de aquellas ciudades; antes el Cananeo quiso habitar en la tierra.
12 Und die Kinder Manasse konnten diese Städte nicht einnehmen; sondern die Kanaaniter blieben wohnen in dem Lande.
13 And when the children of Israel had become strong, they put the Canaanites to forced work, in place of driving them out.
13 Lorsque les enfants d'Israël furent assez forts, ils assujettirent les Cananéens à un tribut, mais ils ne les chassèrent point.
13 Nuair a chuaigh clann Iosrael i neart, chuireadar na Canánaigh faoi chuing na daoirse, ach gan iad a dhíbirt ar fad.
13 Empero cuando los hijos de Israel tomaron fuerzas, hicieron tributario al Cananeo, mas no lo echaron.
13 Da aber die Kinder Israel mächtig wurden, machten sie die Kanaaniter zinsbar und vertrieben sie nicht.
14 Then the children of Joseph said to Joshua, Why have you given me only one part and one stretch of land for my heritage? For through the blessing given to me by the Lord up to now, I am a great people.
14 Les fils de Joseph parlèrent à Josué, et dirent: Pourquoi nous as-tu donné en héritage un seul lot, une seule part, tandis que nous formons un peuple nombreux et que l'Éternel nous a bénis jusqu'à présent?
14 Labhair teaghlach Iósaef le Iósua á rá: “Cén fáth nár thug tú dom ach aon chuid amháin, aon roinn amháin, mar oidhreacht, agus gur líonmhar iad mo mhuintir mar gur bheannaigh an Tiarna mé go dtí seo?”
14 Y los hijos de José hablaron á Josué, diciendo: ¿Por qué me has dado por heredad una sola suerte y una sola parte, siendo yo un pueblo tan grande y que Jehová me ha así bendecido hasta ahora?
14 Da redeten die Kinder Joseph mit Josua und sprachen: Warum hast du mir nur ein Los und eine Schnur des Erbteils gegeben? Und ich bin doch ein großes Volk, wie mich der HERR so gesegnet hat.
15 Then Joshua said to them, If you are such a great people, go up into the woodlands, clearing a place there for yourselves in the land of the Perizzites and the Rephaim, if the hill-country of Ephraim is not wide enough for you.
15 Josué leur dit: Si vous êtes un peuple nombreux, montez à la forêt, et vous l'abattrez pour vous y faire de la place dans le pays des Phéréziens et des Rephaïm, puisque la montagne d'Éphraïm est trop étroite pour vous.
15 D'fhreagair Iósua: “Más pobal líonmhar sibh, suas libh chun na foraoise agus déanaigí talamh a ghlanadh i gcríocha na bPirizeach agus na Rafáím mar go bhfuil ardáin Eafráim róchúng daoibh.”
15 Y Josué les respondió: Si eres pueblo tan grande, sube tú al monte, y corta para ti allí en la tierra del Pherezeo y de los gigantes, pues que el monte de Ephraim es angosto para ti.
15 Da sprach Josua zu ihnen: Weil du ein großes Volk bist, so gehe hinauf in den Wald und haue um daselbst im Lande die Pheresiter und Riesen, weil dir das Gebirge Ephraim zu enge ist.
16 And the children of Joseph said, The hill-country is not enough for us: and all the Canaanites living in the valley have iron war-carriages, those in Beth-shean and its towns as well as those in the valley of Jezreel.
16 Les fils de Joseph dirent: La montagne ne nous suffira pas, et il y a des chars de fer chez tous les Cananéens qui habitent la vallée, chez ceux qui sont à Beth Schean et dans les villes de son ressort, et chez ceux qui sont dans la vallée de Jizreel.
16 D'fhreagair treibh Iósaef: “Ní leor dúinn na hardáin, ach tá carbaid iarainn ag na Canánaigh go léir atá ag cur fúthu sna machairí, acu siúd i mBéit Seán agus sna sráidbhailte máguaird, agus acu siúd i Machaire Izréil.”
16 Y los hijos de José dijeron: No nos bastará á nosotros este monte: y todos los Cananeos que habitan la tierra de la campiña, tienen carros herrados; los que están en Beth-san y en sus aldeas, y los que están en el valle de Jezreel.
16 Da sprachen die Kinder Joseph: Das Gebirge wird nicht Raum genug für uns sein, und es sind eiserne Wagen bei allen Kanaanitern, die im Tal des Landes wohnen: bei denen zu Beth-Sean und seinen zugehörigen Orten und bei denen im Tal Jesreel.
17 Then Joshua said to the children of Joseph, to Ephraim and Manasseh, You are a great people, and have great power: you are not to have one property only,
17 Josué dit à la maison de Joseph, à Éphraïm et à Manassé: Vous êtes un peuple nombreux, et votre force est grande, vous n'aurez pas un simple lot.
17 Dúirt Iósua ansin le teaghlach Iósaef, le hEafráim agus le Manaise: “Pobal mór sibh, agus pobal an-tréan; ní i dtaobh le haon roinn amháin a bheidh sibh;
17 Entonces Josué respondió á la casa de José, á Ephraim y Manasés, diciendo: Tú eres gran pueblo, y tienes gran fuerza; no tendrás una sola suerte;
17 Josua sprach zum Hause Josephs, zu Ephraim und Manasse: Du bist ein großes Volk; und weil du so groß bist, sollst du nicht nur ein Los haben,
18 For the hill-country of Gilead will be yours ... the woodland and cut down ... its outskirts will be yours ... get the Canaanites out, for they have iron war-carriages ... strong.
18 Mais vous aurez la montagne, car c'est une forêt que vous abattrez et dont les issues seront à vous, et vous chasserez les Cananéens, malgré leurs chars de fer et malgré leur force.
