1 Now when it came to the ears of Adoni-zedek, king of Jerusalem, that Joshua had taken Ai, and had given it up to the curse (for as he had done to Jericho and its king, so he had done to Ai and its king); and that the people of Gibeon had made peace with Israel and were living among them;
1 Adoni Tsédek, roi de Jérusalem, apprit que Josué s'était emparé d'Aï et l'avait dévouée par interdit, qu'il avait traité Aï et son roi comme il avait traité Jéricho et son roi, et que les habitants de Gabaon avaient fait la paix avec Israël et étaient au milieu d'eux.
1 Tharla ansin gur insíodh do Adonaízidic rí Iarúsailéim gur ghabh Iósua Háí agus gur chuir sé an chathair faoi bhang, agus gur thug sé an íde chéanna uirthi féin agus ar a rí agus a thug ar Ireachó agus ar a rí; agus go ndearna lucht Ghibeón síocháin le clann Iosrael agus go rabhadar tagtha chun muintearais leo.
1 Y Como Adonisedec rey de Jerusalem oyó que Josué había tomado á Hai, y que la habían asolado, (como había hecho á Jericó y á su rey, así hizo á Hai y á su rey;) y que los moradores de Gabaón habían hecho paz con los Israelitas, y que estaban entre ellos;
1 Da aber Adoni-Zedek, der König zu Jerusalem, hörte daß Josua Ai gewonnen und es verbannt hatte und Ai samt seinem König getan hatte, gleich wie er Jericho und seinem König getan hatte, und daß die zu Gibeon Frieden mit Israel gemacht hatten und unter sie gekommen waren,
2 He was in great fear, because Gibeon was a great town, like one of the king's towns, greater than Ai, and all the men in it were men of war.
2 Il eut alors une forte crainte; car Gabaon était une grande ville, comme une des villes royales, plus grande même qu'Aï, et tous ses hommes étaient vaillants.
2 Bhí sceimhle air dá bharrsan mar go raibh Gibeón chomh breá de chathair le ceann de chathracha an rí féin, í níos mó na Háí agus a saoránaigh go léir ina bhfir chogaidh.
2 Tuvieron muy gran temor; porque Gabaón era una gran ciudad, como una de las ciudades reales, y mayor que Hai, y todos sus hombres fuertes.
2 fürchteten sie sich sehr; denn Gibeon war eine große Stadt wie eine königliche Stadt und größer als Ai, und alle seine Bürger streitbar.
3 So Adoni-zedek, king of Jerusalem, sent to Hoham, king of Hebron, and to Piram, king of Jarmuth, and to Japhia, king of Lachish, and to Debir, king of Eglon, saying,
3 Adoni Tsédek, roi de Jérusalem, fit dire à Hoham, roi d'Hébron, à Piream, roi de Jarmuth, à Japhia, roi de Lakis, et à Debir, roi d'Églon:
3 Ansin chuir Adonaízidic rí Iarúsailéim scéala chun Hóhám rí Heabrón, Pireám rí Iarmút, Iáfia rí Láicís agus Deibír rí Eaglón.
3 Envió pues á decir Adonisedec rey de Jerusalem, á Oham rey de Hebrón, y á Phiream rey de Jerimoth, y á Japhia rey de Lachîs, y á Debir rey de Eglón:
3 Und er sandte zu Hoham, dem König zu Hebron, und zu Piream, dem König zu Jarmuth, und zu Japhia, dem König zu Eglon, und ließ ihnen sagen:
4 Come up to me and give me help, and let us make an attack on Gibeon: for they have made peace with Joshua and the children of Israel.
4 Montez vers moi, et aidez-moi, afin que nous frappions Gabaon, car elle a fait la paix avec Josué et avec les enfants d'Israël.
4 “Taobhaigí liom,” ar sé, “agus tagaigí i gcabhair orm; déanaimís Gibeón a scrios mar go ndearna sí síocháin le Iósua agus le clann Iosrael.”
4 Subid á mí, y ayudadme, y combatamos á Gabaón: porque ha hecho paz con Josué y con los hijos de Israel.
4 Kommt herauf zu mir und helft mir, daß wir Gibeon schlagen; denn es hat mit Josua und den Kindern Israel Frieden gemacht.
5 So the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon, were banded together, and went up with all their armies and took up their position before Gibeon and made war against it.
5 Cinq rois des Amoréens, le roi de Jérusalem, le roi d'Hébron, le roi de Jarmuth, le roi de Lakis, le roi d'Églon, se réunirent ainsi et montèrent avec toutes leurs armées; ils vinrent camper près de Gabaon, et l'attaquèrent.
5 Na cúig ríthe Amóracha .i. rí Iarúsailéim, rí Heabrón, rí Iarmút, rí Láicís, agus rí Eaglón - chruinníodar a sluaite le chéile agus ghluaiseadar chun bóthair lena n‑airm go léir; rinneadar léigear ar Ghibeón agus d'ionsaíodar é.
5 Y cinco reyes de los Amorrheos, el rey de Jerusalem, el rey de Hebrón, el rey de Jerimoth, el rey de Lachîs, el rey de Eglón, se juntaron y subieron, ellos con todos sus ejércitos, y asentaron campo sobre Gabaón, y pelearon contra ella.
5 Da kamen zuhauf und zogen hinauf die fünf Könige der Amoriter, der König zu Jerusalem, der König zu Hebron, der König zu Jarmuth, der König zu Lachis, der König zu Eglon, mit allem ihrem Heerlager und belagerten Gibeon und stritten dawider.
6 And the men of Gibeon sent to Joshua to the tent-circle at Gilgal, saying, Be not slow to send help to your servants; come up quickly to our support and keep us safe: for all the kings of the Amorites from the hill-country have come together against us.
6 Les gens de Gabaon envoyèrent dire à Josué, au camp de Guilgal: N'abandonne pas tes serviteurs, monte vers nous en hâte, délivre-nous, donne-nous du secours; car tous les rois des Amoréens, qui habitent la montagne, se sont réunis contre nous.
6 Chuir muintir Ghibeón scéala chun Iósua ina champa i nGilgeál á rá: “Ná tréig do shearbhóntaí; brostaigh anseo aníos chugainn chun sinn a fhuascailt agus fóirithint orainn mar go bhfuil ríthe na nAmórach go léir atá ag cur fúthu sna hardáin cruinnithe le chéile inár n‑aghaidh.”
6 Y los moradores de Gabaón enviaron á decir á Josué al campo en Gilgal: No encojas tus manos de tus siervos; sube prestamente á nosotros para guardarnos y ayudarnos: porque todos los reyes de los Amorrheos que habitan en las montañas, se han juntado contra nosotros.
6 Aber die zu Gibeon sandten zu Josua ins Lager gen Gilgal und ließen ihm sagen: Zieh deine Hand nicht ab von deinen Knechten; komm zu uns herauf eilend, rette uns und hilf uns! denn es haben sich wider uns versammelt alle Könige der Amoriter, die auf dem Gebirge wohnen.
7 So Joshua went up from Gilgal with all his army and all his men of war.
7 Josué monta de Guilgal, lui et tous les gens de guerre avec lui, et tous les vaillants hommes.
7 Ghabh Iósua féin suas ó Ghilgeál dá réir sin, agus a lucht cogaidh go léir fairis, agus na gaiscígh go léir.
7 Y subió Josué de Gilgal, él y todo el pueblo de guerra con él, y todos los hombres valientes.
7 Josua zog hinauf von Gilgal und alles Kriegsvolk mit ihm und alle streitbaren Männer.
8 And the Lord said to Joshua, Have no fear of them, for I have given them into your hands; they will all give way before you.
8 L'Éternel dit à Josué: Ne les crains point, car je les livre entre tes mains, et aucun d'eux ne tiendra devant toi.
8 Dúirt an Tiarna le Iósua: “Ná bíodh aon eagla ort rompu seo, mar thug mé i do láimh duit iad; ní fhéadfaidh oiread agus duine díobh an fód a sheasamh i do choinne.”
8 Y Jehová dijo á Josué: No tengas temor de ellos: porque yo los he entregado en tu mano, y ninguno de ellos parará delante de ti.
8 Und der HERR sprach zu Josua: Fürchte dich nicht vor ihnen, denn ich habe sie in deine Hände gegeben; niemand unter ihnen wird vor dir stehen können.
9 So Joshua, having come up from Gilgal all night, made a sudden attack on them.
9 Josué arriva subitement sur eux, après avoir marché toute la nuit depuis Guilgal.
9 Mháirseáil Iósua ó Ghilgeál ar feadh na hoíche dá bhrí sin agus tháinig sé orthu aniar aduaidh.
9 Y Josué vino á ellos de repente, toda la noche subió desde Gilgal.
9 Also kam Josua plötzlich über sie; denn die ganze Nacht zog er herauf von Gilgal.
10 And the Lord made them full of fear before Israel, and they put great numbers of them to death at Gibeon, and went after them by the way going up to Beth-horon, driving them back to Azekah and Makkedah
10 L'Éternel les mit en déroute devant Israël; et Israël leur fit éprouver une grande défaite près de Gabaon, les poursuivit sur le chemin qui monte à Beth Horon, et les battit jusqu'à Azéka et à Makkéda.
10 Chuir an Tiarna i raon maidhme iad roimh chlann Iosrael agus rinneadar ár agus eirleach orthu i nGibeón. Chuir an Tiarna tóir orthu ar feadh chonaire Bhéit Horon agus bhí á gciapadh chomh fada le hAzaecá agus Macaedá.
10 Y Jehová los turbó delante de Israel, é hiriólos con gran mortandad en Gabaón: y siguiólos por el camino que sube á Beth-oron, é hiriólos hasta Azeca y Maceda.
10 Aber der HERR schreckte sie vor Israel, daß sie eine große Schlacht schlugen zu Gibeon und jagten ihnen nach den Weg hinan zu Beth-Horon und schlugen sie bis gen Aseka und Makkeda.
11 And in their flight before Israel, on the way down from Beth-horon, the Lord sent down great stones from heaven on them all the way to Azekah, causing their death: those whose death was caused by the stones were more than those whom the children of Israel put to death with the sword.
11 Comme ils fuyaient devant Israël, et qu'ils étaient à la descente de Beth Horon, l'Éternel fit tomber du ciel sur eux de grosses pierres jusqu'à Azéka, et ils périrent; ceux qui moururent par les pierres de grêle furent plus nombreux que ceux qui furent tués avec l'épée par les enfants d'Israël.
11 D'fhear an Tiarna clocha móra sneachta ón spéir anuas sa mhullach orthu agus iad ag teitheadh le fána ó Bhéit Horon ar feadh na slí go hAzaecá, agus mharaigh sin iad; is mó a fuair bás de bharr na gclocha sneachta ná de rinn claímh chlann Iosrael.
11 Y como iban huyendo de los Israelitas, á la bajada de Beth-oron, Jehová echó sobre ellos del cielo grandes piedras hasta Azeca, y murieron: muchos más murieron de las piedras del granizo, que los que los hijos de Israel habían muerto á cuchillo.
11 Und da sie vor Israel flohen den Weg zu Beth-Horon, ließ der HERR einen großen Hagel vom Himmel auf sie fallen bis gen Aseka, daß sie starben. Und viel mehr starben ihrer von dem Hagel, als die Kinder Israel mit dem Schwert erwürgten.
12 It was on the day when the Lord gave up the Amorites into the hands of the children of Israel that Joshua said to the Lord, before the eyes of Israel, Sun, be at rest over Gibeon; and you, O moon, in the valley of Aijalon.
12 Alors Josué parla à l'Éternel, le jour où l'Éternel livra les Amoréens aux enfants d'Israël, et il dit en présence d'Israël: Soleil, arrête-toi sur Gabaon, Et toi, lune, sur la vallée d'Ajalon!
12 Ansin labhair Iósua leis an Tiarna an lá céanna ceannann a thug an Tiarna na hAmóraigh ar láimh do chlann Iosrael; chan Iósua i láthair chlann Iosrael: “A ghrian, fan socair os cionn Ghibeón, Agus, a ghealach, os cionn Ghleann Aiálón.”
12 Entonces Josué habló á Jehová el día que Jehová entregó al Amorrheo delante de los hijos de Israel, y dijo en presencia de los Israelitas: Sol, detente en Gabaón; Y tú, Luna, en el valle de Ajalón.
12 Da redete Josua mit dem HERRN des Tages, da der HERR die Amoriter dahingab vor den Kindern Israel, und sprach vor dem gegenwärtigen Israel: Sonne, stehe still zu Gibeon, und Mond, im Tal Ajalon!
13 And the sun was at rest and the moon kept its place till the nation had given punishment to their attackers. (Is it not recorded in the book of Jashar?) So the sun kept its place in the middle of the heavens, and was waiting, and did not go down, for the space of a day.
13 Et le soleil s'arrêta, et la lune suspendit sa course, Jusqu'à ce que la nation eût tiré vengeance de ses ennemis. Cela n'est-il pas écrit dans le livre du Juste? Le soleil s'arrêta au milieu du ciel, Et ne se hâta point de se coucher, presque tout un jour.
13 Agus d'fhan an ghrian socair agus an ghealach ina stad, Nó go raibh díoltas déanta ag an bpobal ar a naimhde. Nach bhfuil seo scríofa i Leabhar na bhFíréan? D'fhan an ghrian ina stad i lár na spéire agus chuir moill ar a dul faoi ar feadh lae iomláin, geall leis.
13 Y el sol se detuvo y la luna se paró, Hasta tanto que la gente se hubo vengado de sus enemigos. ¿No está aquesto escrito en el libro de Jasher? Y el sol se paró en medio del cielo, y no se apresuró á ponerse casi un día entero.
13 da stand die Sonne und der Mond still, bis daß sich das Volk an ihren Feinden rächte. Ist dies nicht geschrieben im Buch des Frommen? Also stand die Sonne mitten am Himmel und verzog unterzugehen beinahe einen ganzen Tag.
14 And there was no day like that, before it or after it, when the Lord gave ear to the voice of a man; for the Lord was fighting for Israel.
14 Il n'y a point eu de jour comme celui-là, ni avant ni après, où l'Éternel ait écouté la voix d'un homme; car l'Éternel combattait pour Israël.
14 Ní raibh lá mar é riamh ná ó shin i leith nuair a ghéill an Tiarna do ghuth duine mar bhí an Tiarna ag troid ar son Iosrael.
14 Y nunca fué tal día antes ni después de aquél, habiendo atendido Jehová á la voz de un hombre: porque Jehová peleaba por Israel.
14 Und war kein Tag diesem gleich, weder zuvor noch darnach, da der HERR der Stimme eines Mannes gehorchte; denn der HERR stritt für Israel.
15 And Joshua, with all Israel, went back to the tent-circle at Gilgal.
15 Et Josué, et tout Israël avec lui, retourna au camp à Guilgal.
15 D'fhill Iósua agus Iosrael go léir fairis ar ais ar an gcampa i nGilgeál. Cúigear Rí in Uaimh
15 Y Josué, y todo Israel con él, volvíase al campo en Gilgal.
15 Josua aber zog wieder ins Lager gen Gilgal und das ganze Israel mit ihm.
16 But these five kings went in flight secretly to a hole in the rock at Makkedah.
16 Les cinq rois s'enfuirent, et se cachèrent dans une caverne à Makkéda.
16 Theith an cúigear rí úd agus chuadar i bhfolach in uaimh Mhacaedá.
16 Pero los cinco reyes huyeron, y se escondieron en una cueva en Maceda.
16 Aber diese fünf Könige waren geflohen und hatten sich versteckt in die Höhle zu Makkeda.
17 And word was given to Joshua that the five kings had been taken in a hole in the rock at Makkedah.
17 On le rapporta à Josué, en disant: Les cinq rois se trouvent cachés dans une caverne à Makkéda.
17 Tugadh scéala chun Iósua: “Fuarthas an cúigear rí agus iad i bhfolach in uaimh Mhacaedá.”
17 Y fué dicho á Josué que los cinco reyes habían sido hallados en una cueva en Maceda.
17 Da ward Josua angesagt: Wir haben die fünf Könige gefunden, verborgen in der Höhle zu Makkeda.
18 And Joshua said, Let great stones be rolled against the mouth of the hole, and let men keep watch by it:
18 Josué dit: Roulez de grosses pierres à l'entrée de la caverne, et mettez-y des hommes pour les garder.
18 “Cuirigí,” arsa Iósua, “leacacha móra le béal na huaimhe, agus díorma fear ar garda láimh léi.
18 Entonces Josué dijo: Rodad grandes piedras á la boca de la cueva, y poned hombres junto á ella que los guarden;
18 Josua sprach: So wälzt große Steine vor das Loch der Höhle und bestellt Männer davor, die sie hüten.
19 But do you, without waiting, go after their army, attacking them from the back; do not let them get into their towns, for the Lord your God has given them into your hands.
19 Et vous, ne vous arrêtez pas, poursuivez vos ennemis, et attaquez-les par derrière; ne les laissez pas entrer dans leurs villes, car l'Éternel, votre Dieu, les a livrés entre vos mains.
19 Ná fanaigí féin díomhaoin, ansiúd, áfach; téigí sa tóir ar bhur naimhde; sáraígí iad ina gconair theithe agus ná ligigí isteach ina gcathracha iad, mar tá an Tiarna bhur nDia tar éis iad a thabhairt ar láimh daoibh.”
19 Y vosotros no os paréis, sino seguid á vuestros enemigos, y heridles la retaguardia, sin dejarles entrar en sus ciudades; porque Jehová vuestro Dios los ha entregado en vuestra mano.
19 Ihr aber steht nicht still, sondern jagt euren Feinde nach und schlagt ihre Nachzügler und laßt sie nicht in ihre Städte kommen; denn der HERR, euer Gott, hat sie in eure Hände gegeben.
20 Now when Joshua and the children of Israel had come to the end of their war of complete destruction, and had put to death all but a small band who had got safely into the walled towns,
20 Après que Josué et les enfants d'Israël leur eurent fait éprouver une très grande défaite, et les eurent complètement battus, ceux qui purent échapper se sauvèrent dans les villes fortifiées,
20 Nuair a bhí ár agus eirleach déanta orthu ag Iósua, agus ag saighdiúirí Iosrael agus gan ach iarmhar beag fágtha, theith fuíoll an áir chun a gcathracha daingne.
20 Y aconteció que como Josué y los hijos de Israel hubieron acabado de herirlos con mortandad muy grande, hasta destruirlos, los que quedaron de ellos se metieron en las ciudades fuertes.
20 Und da Josua und die Kinder Israel vollendet hatten diese sehr große Schlacht an ihnen und sie ganz geschlagen, und was übrigblieb von ihnen, in die festen Städte gekommen war,
21 All the people went back to Joshua to the tent-circle at Makkedah in peace: and no one said a word against the children of Israel.
21 et tout le peuple revint tranquillement au camp vers Josué à Makkéda, sans que personne remuât sa langue contre les enfants d'Israël.
21 D'fhill an pobal go léir slán folláin ar champa Iósua i Macaedá, agus níor leomhaigh aon duine iarracht a dhéanamh in aghaidh chlann Iosrael.
21 Y todo el pueblo se volvió salvo al campo á Josué en Maceda; que no hubo quien moviese su lengua contra los hijos de Israel.
21 da kam alles Volk wieder ins Lager zu Josua gen Makkeda mit Frieden, und wagte niemand vor den Kindern Israel seine Zunge zu regen.
22 Then Joshua said, Take away the stones from the mouth of the hole in the rock, and make those five kings come out to me.
22 Josué dit alors: Ouvrez l'entrée de la caverne, faites-en sortir ces cinq rois, et amenez-les-moi.
22 Ansin dúirt Iósua: “Osclaigí béal na huaimhe agus tugaigí an cúigear rí úd amach chugam.”
22 Entonces dijo Josué: Abrid la boca de la cueva, y sacadme de ella á estos cinco reyes.
22 Josua aber sprach: Macht auf das Loch der Höhle und bringt hervor die fünf Könige zu mir!
23 And they did so, and made those five kings come out of the hole to him, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon.
23 Ils firent ainsi, et lui amenèrent les cinq rois qu'ils avaient fait sortir de la caverne, le roi de Jérusalem, le roi d'Hébron, le roi de Jarmuth, le roi de Lakis, le roi d'Églon.
23 Rinneadar amhlaidh agus thugadar an cúigear rí úd amach as an uaimh chuige .i. rí Iarúsailéim, rí Heabrón, rí Iarmút, rí Láicis, agus rí Eaglón.
23 E hiciéronlo así, y sacáronle de la cueva aquellos cinco reyes: al rey de Jerusalem, al rey de Hebrón, al rey de Jerimoth, al rey de Lachîs, al rey de Eglón.
23 Sie taten also und brachten die fünf Könige zu ihm aus der Höhle: den König zu Jerusalem, den König zu Hebron, den König zu Jarmuth, den König zu Lachis, den König zu Eglon.
24 And when they had made those kings come out to Joshua, Joshua sent for all the men of Israel, and said to the chiefs of the men of war who had gone with him, Come near and put your feet on the necks of these kings. So they came near and put their feet on their necks.
24 Lorsqu'ils eurent amené ces rois devant Josué, Josué appela tous les hommes d'Israël, et dit aux chefs des gens de guerre qui avaient marché avec lui: Approchez-vous, mettez vos pieds sur les cous de ces rois. Ils s'approchèrent, et ils mirent les pieds sur leurs cous.
24 Nuair a bhíodarsan tugtha amach go Iósua acu, ghair Iósua ar fhir Iosrael go léir agus dúirt le taoisigh na bhfear cogaidh a throid ina theannta: “Druidigí isteach agus cuirigí bhur gcosa ar bhráide na ríthe seo.” Ansin dhruideadar isteach leo agus leag a gcosa ar a mbráide.
24 Y cuando hubieron sacado estos reyes á Josué, llamó Josué á todos los varones de Israel, y dijo á los principales de la gente de guerra que habían venido con él: Llegad y poned vuestros pies sobre los pescuezos de aquestos reyes. Y ellos se llegaron, y pusieron sus pies sobre los pescuezos de ellos.
24 Da aber die fünf Könige zu ihm herausgebracht waren, rief Josua das ganze Israel und sprach zu den Obersten des Kriegsvolks, die mit ihm zogen: Kommt herzu und setzt eure Füße auf die Hälse dieser Könige. Und sie kamen herzu und setzten ihre Füße auf ihre Hälse.
25 And Joshua said to them, Have no fear and do not be troubled; be strong and take heart: for so will the Lord do to all against whom you make war.
25 Josué leur dit: Ne craignez point et ne vous effrayez point, fortifiez-vous et ayez du courage, car c'est ainsi que l'Éternel traitera tous vos ennemis contre lesquels vous combattez.
25 Lean Iósua air: “Ná bíodh eagla ná beaguchtach oraibh; bíodh misneach agaibh agus neart ionaibh mar sin í an íde a thabharfaidh an Tiarna ar na naimhde go léir a throidfidh in bhur n‑aghaidh.”
25 Y Josué les dijo: No temáis, ni os atemoricéis; sed fuertes y valientes: porque así hará Jehová á todos vuestros enemigos contra los cuales peleáis.
25 Und Josua sprach zu ihnen: Fürchtet euch nicht und erschreckt nicht, seid getrost und unverzagt; denn also wird der HERR allen euren Feinden tun, wider die ihr streitet.
26 Then Joshua had them put to death, hanging them on five trees, where they were till evening.
26 Après cela, Josué les frappa et les fit mourir; il les pendit à cinq arbres, et ils restèrent pendus aux arbres jusqu'au soir.
26 Ansin bhuail Iósua an buille báis orthu agus mharaigh iad agus chroch iad ar chúig crainn, agus fágadh crochta ar na crainn iad go tráthnóna.
26 Y después de esto Josué los hirió y los mató, é hízolos colgar en cinco maderos: y quedaron colgados en los maderos hasta la tarde.
26 Und Josua schlug sie darnach und tötete sie und hing sie an fünf Bäume; und sie hingen an den Bäumen bis zum Abend.
27 And when the sun went down, they were taken down from the trees, by Joshua's orders, and put into the hole where they had gone to be safe; and great stones were placed at the mouth of the hole, where they are to this day.
27 Vers le coucher du soleil, Josué ordonna qu'on les descendît des arbres, on les jeta dans la caverne où ils s'étaient cachés, et l'on mit à l'entrée de la caverne de grosses pierres, qui y sont demeurées jusqu'à ce jour.
27 Le dul faoi na gréine, ar ordú Iósua, thógadar anuas de na crainn iad agus chaitheadar isteach san uaimh iad mar a ndeachadar i bhfolach. Chuireadar leacacha móra ag béal na huaimhe, agus tá siad ansiúd go dtí an lá inniu féin. An Deisceart á Ghabháil
27 Y cuando el sol se iba á poner, mandó Josué que los quitasen de los maderos, y los echasen en la cueva donde se habían escondido: y pusieron grandes piedras á la boca de la cueva, hasta hoy.
27 Da aber die Sonne war untergegangen, gebot er, daß man sie von den Bäumen nähme und würfe sie in die Höhle darin sie sich verkrochen hatten. Und sie legten große Steine vor der Höhle Loch; die sind noch da bis auf diesen Tag.
28 That day Joshua took Makkedah, and put it and its king to the sword; every soul in it he gave up to the curse without mercy: and he did to the king of Makkedah as he had done to the king of Jericho.
28 Josué prit Makkéda le même jour, et la frappa du tranchant de l'épée; il dévoua par interdit le roi, la ville et tous ceux qui s'y trouvaient; il n'en laissa échapper aucun, et il traita le roi de Makkéda comme il avait traité le roi de Jéricho.
28 Ghabh Iósua Macaedá an lá céanna agus d'imir sé faobhar claímh ar an gcathair agus ar a rí. Chuir sé iad go léir faoin mbang, agus gach duine beo a bhí inti, gan ligean le haon duine. Thug sé an íde chéanna ar rí Mhacaedá agus a thug ar rí Ireachó.
28 En aquel mismo día tomó Josué á Maceda, y la puso á cuchillo, y mató á su rey; á ellos y á todo lo que en ella tenía vida, sin quedar nada: mas al rey de Maceda hizo como había hecho al rey de Jericó.
28 Desselben Tages aber gewann Josua auch Makkeda und schlug es mit der Schärfe des Schwerts, dazu seinen König, und verbannte es und alle Seelen, die darin waren, und ließ niemand übrigbleiben und tat dem König zu Makkeda, wie er dem König zu Jericho getan hatte.
29 Then Joshua and all Israel with him went on from Makkedah and came to Libnah, and made an attack on it;
29 Josué, et tout Israël avec lui, passa de Makkéda à Libna, et il attaqua Libna.
29 Ghabh Iósua ar aghaidh ansin ó Mhacaedá go Libneá agus sluaite Iosrael go léir fairis agus d'ionsaigh sé Libneá.
29 Y de Maceda pasó Josué, y todo Israel con él, á Libna; y peleó contra Libna:
29 Da zog Josua und das ganze Israel mit ihm von Makkeda gen Libna und stritt dawider.
30 And again the Lord gave it and its king into the hands of Israel; and he put it and every person in it to the sword, till their destruction was complete; and he did to its king as he had done to the king of Jericho.
30 L'Éternel la livra aussi, avec son roi, entre les mains d'Israël, et la frappa du tranchant de l'épée, elle et tous ceux qui s'y trouvaient; il n'en laissa échapper aucun, et il traita son roi comme il avait traité le roi de Jéricho.
30 Thug an Tiarna í seo ar láimh d'Iosrael chomh maith, í féin agus a rí; d'imríodar faobhar claímh uirthi agus ar gach duine inti, gan duine beo a fhágáil inti; agus thugadar an íde chéanna ar a rí agus a thugadar ar rí Ireachó.
30 Y Jehová la entregó también á ella, y á su rey, en manos de Israel; y metióla á filo de espada, con todo lo que en ella había vivo, sin quedar nada: mas á su rey hizo de la manera que había hecho al rey de Jericó.
30 Und der HERR gab dieses auch in die Hand Israels mit seinem König; und er schlug es mit der Schärfe des Schwerts und alle Seelen, die darin waren, und ließ niemand übrigbleiben und tat seinem König, wie er dem König zu Jericho getan hatte.
31 Then Joshua and all Israel with him went on from Libnah to Lachish, and took up their position against it and made an attack on it,
31 Josué, et tout Israël avec lui, passa de Libna à Lakis; il campa devant elle, et il l'attaqua.
31 Ghluais Iósua ar aghaidh ó Libneá go Láicís agus sluaite Iosrael go léir fairis; chuir sé léigear uirthi agus d'ionsaigh í.
31 Y Josué, y todo Israel con él, pasó de Libna á Lachîs, y puso campo contra ella, y combatióla:
31 Darnach zog Josua und das ganze Israel mit ihm von Libna nach Lachis und belagerten und bestritten es.
32 And the Lord gave Lachish into the hands of Israel, and on the second day he took it, putting it and every person in it to the sword without mercy, as he had done to Libnah.
32 L'Éternel livra Lakis entre les mains d'Israël, qui la prit le second jour, et la frappa du tranchant de l'épée, elle et tous ceux qui s'y trouvaient, comme il avait traité Libna.
32 Agus thug an Tiarna Láicís ar láimh d'Iosrael agus ghabhadar í ar an dara lá; d'imríodar faobhar claímh uirthi agus ar gach duine inti mar a rinneadar le Libneá.
32 Y Jehová entregó á Lachîs en mano de Israel, y tomóla al día siguiente, y metióla á cuchillo, con todo lo que en ella había vivo, como había hecho en Libna.
32 Und der HERR gab Lachis auch in die Hände Israels, daß sie des andern Tages gewannen und schlugen es mit der Schärfe des Schwerts und alle Seelen, die darin waren, allerdinge wie sie Libna getan hatten.
33 Then Horam, king of Gezer, came up to the help of Lachish; and Joshua overcame him and his people, putting all of them to death.
33 Alors Horam, roi de Guézer, monta pour secourir Lakis. Josué le battit, lui et son peuple, sans laisser échapper personne.
33 Ansin tháinig Horám rí Gheizir aníos i gcabhair ar Láicís, ach threascair Iósua é féin agus a mhuintir agus níor fágadh duine beo.
33 Entonces Horam, rey de Gezer, subió en ayuda de Lachîs; mas á él y á su pueblo hirió Josué, hasta no quedar ninguno de ellos.
33 Zu derselben Zeit zog Horam, der König der Geser, hinauf, Lachis zu helfen; aber Josua schlug ihn mit allem seinem Volk, bis daß niemand übrigblieb.
34 And Joshua and all Israel with him went on from Lachish to Eglon: and they took up their position against it and made an attack on it;
34 Josué, et tout Israël avec lui, passa de Lakis à Églon; ils campèrent devant elle, et ils l'attaquèrent.

34 De Lachîs pasó Josué, y todo Israel con él, á Eglón: y pusieron campo contra ella, y combatiéronla:

35 And that day they took it, putting it and every person in it to the sword, as he had done to Lachish.
35 Ils la prirent le même jour, et la frappèrent du tranchant de l'épée, elle et tous ceux qui s'y trouvaient; Josué la dévoua par interdit le jour même, comme il avait traité Lakis.
35 Ghabhadar í an lá céanna agus d'imríodar faobhar claímh uirthi. Chuir sé gach duine inti faoin mbang an lá sin mar a rinne le Láicís.
35 Y la tomaron el mismo día, y metiéronla á cuchillo; y aquel día mató á todo lo que en ella había vivo, como había hecho en Lachîs.
35 und gewann es desselben Tages und schlug es mit der Schärfe des Schwerts und verbannte alle Seelen, die darin waren, desselben Tages, allerdinge wie er Lachis getan hatte.
36 And Joshua and all Israel with him went up from Eglon to Hebron, and made an attack on it;
36 Josué, et tout Israël avec lui, monta d'Églon à Hébron, et ils l'attaquèrent.
36 Ansin ghluais Iósua ar aghaidh ó Eaglón go Heabrón agus sluaite Iosrael go léir fairis. D'ionsaíodar í,
36 Subió luego Josué, y todo Israel con él, de Eglón á Hebrón, y combatiéronla;
36 Darnach zog Josua hinauf samt dem ganzen Israel von Eglon gen Hebron und bestritt es
37 And took it, overcoming it and putting it and its king and its towns and every person in it to the sword: as he had done to Eglon, he put them all to death, and gave it up to the curse with every person in it.
37 Ils la prirent, et la frappèrent du tranchant de l'épée, elle, son roi, toutes les villes qui en dépendaient, et tous ceux qui s'y trouvaient; Josué n'en laissa échapper aucun, comme il avait fait à Églon, et il la dévoua par interdit avec tous ceux qui s'y trouvaient.
37 ghabhadar í agus d'imríodar faobhar claímh uirthi féin, ar a rí agus ar gach láthair a bhain léi, agus ar gach duine inti; agus, faoi mar a rinne sé le hEaglón, níor fhág sé fear inste scéil inti; chuir sé faoin mbang í le gach dúil bheo inti.
37 Y tomándola, la metieron á cuchillo, á su rey y á todas su ciudades, con todo lo que en ella había vivo, sin quedar nada: como habían hecho á Eglón, así la destruyeron con todo lo que en ella había vivo.
37 und gewann es und schlug es mit der Schärfe des Schwerts und seinen König mit allen seinen Städten und allen Seelen, die darin waren, und ließ niemand übrigbleiben, allerdinge wie er Eglon getan hatte, und verbannte es und alle Seelen, die darin waren.
38 And Joshua and all Israel with him went on to make an attack on Debir;
38 Josué, et tout Israël avec lui, se dirigea sur Debir, et il l'attaqua.
38 Ansin chas Iósua i leataobh in aghaidh Dheibír, agus sluaite Iosrael go léir fairis, agus d'ionsaigh sé í.
38 Y volviéndose Josué, y todo Israel con él, sobre Debir, combatióla;
38 Da kehrte Josua wieder um samt dem ganzen Israel gen Debir und bestritt es
39 And he took it, with its king and all its towns: and he put them to the sword, giving every person in it to the curse; all were put to death: as he had done to Hebron, so he did to Debir and its king.
39 Il la prit, elle, son roi, et toutes les villes qui en dépendaient; ils les frappèrent du tranchant de l'épée, et ils dévouèrent par interdit tous ceux qui s'y trouvaient, sans en laisser échapper aucun; Josué traita Debir et son roi comme il avait traité Hébron et comme il avait traité Libna et son roi.
39 Ghabh sé í féin agus a rí agus na láithreacha go léir a bhain léi; d'imríodar faobhar claímh orthu agus chuireadar gach dúil bheo inti faoin mbang; níor fhág sé fear inste scéil. Thug sé an íde chéanna ar Dheibír agus ar a rí agus a thug ar Heabrón agus a thug ar Libneá agus ar a rí.
39 Y tomóla, y á su rey, y á todas sus villas; y metiéronlos á cuchillo, y destruyeron todo lo que allí dentro había vivo, sin quedar nada; como había hecho á Hebrón, así hizo á Debir y á su rey; y como había hecho á Libna y á su rey.
39 und gewann es samt seinem König und alle seine Städte; und schlugen es mit der Schärfe des Schwerts und verbannten alle Seelen, die darin waren, und ließ niemand übrigbleiben. Wie er Hebron getan hatte, so tat er auch Debir und seinem König, und wie er Libna und seinem König getan hatte.
40 So Joshua overcame all the land, the hill-country and the South and the lowland and the mountain slopes, and all their kings; all were put to death: and every living thing he gave up to the curse, as the Lord, the God of Israel, had given him orders.
40 Josué battit tout le pays, la montagne, le midi, la plaine et les coteaux, et il en battit tous les rois; il ne laissa échapper personne, et il dévoua par interdit tout ce qui respirait, comme l'avait ordonné l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël.
40 Fuair Iósua an lámh in uachtar ar an gcuma sin ar an tír ar fad - na hardáin, an Neigib, na hísleáin, na fánaí, agus a ríthe go léir; níor fhág sé duine beo, agus chuir sé gach dúil bheo faoin mbang mar a d'ordaigh an Tiarna, Dia Iosrael.
40 Hirió pues Josué toda la región de las montañas, y del mediodía, y de los llanos, y de las cuestas, y á todos sus reyes, sin quedar nada; todo lo que tenía vida mató, al modo que Jehová Dios de Israel lo había mandado.
40 Also schlug Josua alles Land auf dem Gebirge und gegen Mittag und in den Gründen und an den Abhängen mit allen ihren Königen und ließ niemand übrigbleiben und verbannte alles, was Odem hatte, wie der HERR, der Gott Israels, geboten hatte.
41 Joshua overcame them from Kadesh-barnea to Gaza, and all the land of Goshen as far as Gibeon.
41 Josué les battit de Kadès Barnéa à Gaza, il battit tout le pays de Gosen jusqu'à Gabaon.
41 Chloígh Iósua iad ó Cháidéis Bairnéa go Gazá, dúiche uile Ghoisin chomh fada le Gibeón.
41 E hiriólos Josué desde Cades-barnea hasta Gaza, y toda la tierra de Gosén hasta Gabaón.
41 Und schlug sie von Kades-Barnea an bis gen Gaza und das ganze Land Gosen bis gen Gibeon
42 And all these kings and their land Joshua took at the same time, because the Lord, the God of Israel, was fighting for Israel.
42 Josué prit en même temps tous ces rois et leur pays, car l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, combattait pour Israël.
42 Ghabh Iósua na ríthe sin go léir agus a bhfearainn d'aon iarracht amháin mar go raibh an Tiarna, Dia Iosrael, ag troid ar son Iosrael.
42 Todos estos reyes y sus tierras tomó Josué de una vez; porque Jehová el Dios de Israel peleaba por Israel.
42 und gewann alle diese Könige mit ihrem Lande auf einmal; denn der HERR, der Gott Israels, stritt für Israel.
43 Then Joshua and all Israel with him went back to their tents at Gilgal.
43 Et Josué, et tout Israël avec lui, retourna au camp à Guilgal.
