1 Now after the death of Moses, the servant of the Lord, the word of the Lord came to Joshua, the son of Nun, Moses' helper, saying,
1 Après la mort de Moïse, serviteur de l'Éternel, l'Éternel dit à Josué, fils de Nun, serviteur de Moïse:
1 Tar éis bháis do Mhaois óglach an Tiarna, dúirt an Tiarna le Iósua mac Nún, feidhmeannach Mhaois:
1 Y Acontecio después de la muerte de Moisés siervo de Jehová, que Jehová habló á Josué hijo de Nun, ministro de Moisés, diciendo:
1 Nach dem Tode Mose's, des Knechts des HERRN, sprach der HERR zu Josua, dem Sohn Nuns, Mose's Diener:
2 Moses my servant is dead; so now get up! Go over Jordan, you and all this people, into the land which I am giving to them, to the children of Israel.
2 Moïse, mon serviteur, est mort; maintenant, lève-toi, passe ce Jourdain, toi et tout ce peuple, pour entrer dans le pays que je donne aux enfants d'Israël.
2 “Tá Maois m'óglach tar éis bháis. Éirigh dá bhrí sin agus thar an Iordáin seo anonn leat, thú féin agus an pobal seo go léir, agus isteach leat sa tír atá á thabhairt agam dóibhsean, do chlann Iosrael.
2 Mi siervo Moisés es muerto: levántate pues ahora, y pasa este Jordán, tú y todo este pueblo, á la tierra que yo les doy á los hijos de Israel.
2 Mein Knecht Mose ist gestorben; so mache dich nun auf und zieh über den Jordan, du und dies ganze Volk, in das Land, das ich ihnen, den Kindern Israel, gegeben habe.
3 Every place on which you put your foot I have given to you, as I said to Moses.
3 Tout lieu que foulera la plante de votre pied, je vous le donne, comme je l'ai dit à Moïse.
3 Gach fód ar a leagfaidh sibh bonn bhur gcoise, tabharfaidh mé daoibh é, mar a gheall mé do Mhaois.
3 Yo os he entregado, como lo había dicho á Moisés, todo lugar que pisare la planta de vuestro pie.
3 Alle Stätten, darauf eure Fußsohlen treten werden, habe ich euch gegeben, wie ich Mose geredet habe.
4 From the waste land and this mountain Lebanon, as far as the great river, the river Euphrates, and all the land of the Hittites to the Great Sea, in the west, will be your country.
4 Vous aurez pour territoire depuis le désert et le Liban jusqu'au grand fleuve, le fleuve de l'Euphrate, tout le pays des Héthiens, et jusqu'à la grande mer vers le soleil couchant.
4 Ón bhfásach agus ón Liobáin anseo go dtí an Abhainn Mhór, an Eofrataes, dúiche na Hiteach go léir chomh fada leis an bhFarraige Mhór laistiar, sin iad na críocha a bheidh agaibh.
4 Desde el desierto y este Líbano hasta el gran río Eufrates, toda la tierra de los Hetheos hasta la gran mar del poniente del sol, será vuestro término.
4 Von der Wüste an und diesem Libanon bis an das große Wasser Euphrat, das ganze Land der Hethiter, bis an das große Meer gegen Abend sollen eure Grenzen sein.
5 While you are living, all will give way before you: as I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not take away my help from you or give you up.
5 Nul ne tiendra devant toi, tant que tu vivras. Je serai avec toi, comme j'ai été avec Moïse; je ne te délaisserai point, je ne t'abandonnerai point.
5 Ní fhéadfaidh aon duine an fód a sheasamh i d'aghaidh i gcaitheamh do shaoil go léir; mar a bhí agam le Maois is ea a bheidh agam leatsa; ní thréigfidh mé thú ná cliseadh ort.
5 Nadie te podrá hacer frente en todos los días de tu vida: como yo fuí con Moisés, seré contigo; no te dejaré, ni te desampararé.
5 Es soll dir niemand widerstehen dein Leben lang. Wie ich mit Mose gewesen bin, also will ich auch mit dir sein. Ich will dich nicht verlassen noch von dir weichen.
6 Take heart and be strong; for you will give to this people for their heritage the land which I gave by an oath to their fathers.
6 Fortifie-toi et prends courage, car c'est toi qui mettras ce peuple en possession du pays que j'ai juré à leurs pères de leur donner.
6 Bíodh neart ionat agus misneach agat, mar an tír seo a mhionnaíos dá n‑aithreacha a thabharfainn dóibh, is tusa a chuirfidh é i seilbh an phobail seo mar oidhreacht.
6 Esfuérzate y sé valiente: porque tú repartirás á este pueblo por heredad la tierra, de la cual juré á sus padres que la daría á ellos.
6 Sei getrost und unverzagt; denn du sollst diesem Volk das Land austeilen, das ich ihren Vätern geschworen habe, daß ich's ihnen geben wollte.
7 Only take heart and be very strong; take care to do all the law which Moses my servant gave you, not turning from it to the right hand or to the left, so that you may do well in all your undertakings.
7 Fortifie-toi seulement et aie bon courage, en agissant fidèlement selon toute la loi que Moïse, mon serviteur, t'a prescrite; ne t'en détourne ni à droite ni à gauche, afin de réussir dans tout ce que tu entreprendras.
7 Bí teann, sin uile, agus bíodh misneach thar na bearta agat, agus féach chuige le cáiréis go ndéanfaidh tú beart de réir an dlí go léir a d'ordaigh Maois m'óglach duit; ná cas ar dheis ná ar chlé uaidh, i dtreo go mbeidh an t‑ádh leat cibé treo baill ina rachaidh tú.
7 Solamente te esfuerces, y seas muy valiente, para cuidar de hacer conforme á toda la ley que mi siervo Moisés te mandó: no te apartes de ella ni á diestra ni á siniestra, para que seas prosperado en todas las cosas que emprendieres.
7 Sei nur getrost und sehr freudig, daß du haltest und tust allerdinge nach dem Gesetz, das dir Mose, mein Knecht, geboten hat. Weiche nicht davon, weder zur Rechten noch zur Linken, auf daß du weise handeln mögest in allem, was du tun sollst.
8 Let this book of the law be ever on your lips and in your thoughts day and night, so that you may keep with care everything in it; then a blessing will be on all your way, and you will do well.
8 Que ce livre de la loi ne s'éloigne point de ta bouche; médite-le jour et nuit, pour agir fidèlement selon tout ce qui y est écrit; car c'est alors que tu auras du succès dans tes entreprises, c'est alors que tu réussiras.
8 Leabhar seo an dlí, ná fágadh sé do bhéal ach déan do mhachnamh air de lá agus d'oíche, le go ndéanfaidh tú go beacht de réir gach a bhfuil scríofa ann, óir is mar sin a chuirfidh tú an rath ar do ród agus a bheidh an t‑ádh i do bhóthar.
8 El libro de aquesta ley nunca se apartará de tu boca: antes de día y de noche meditarás en él, para que guardes y hagas conforme á todo lo que en él está escrito: porque entonces harás prosperar tu camino, y todo te saldrá bien.
8 Und laß dieses Buch des Gesetzes nicht von deinem Munde kommen, sondern betrachte es Tag und Nacht, auf daß du haltest und tust allerdinge nach dem, was darin geschrieben steht. Alsdann wird es dir gelingen in allem, was du tust, und wirst weise handeln können.
9 Have I not given you your orders? Take heart and be strong; have no fear and do not be troubled; for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go,
9 Ne t'ai-je pas donné cet ordre: Fortifie-toi et prends courage? Ne t'effraie point et ne t'épouvante point, car l'Éternel, ton Dieu, est avec toi dans tout ce que tu entreprendras.
9 Nár thug mé ordú duit? Bí teann agus bíodh misneach agat. Ná bíodh eagla ort ná beaguchtach, mar tá an Tiarna do Dhia farat cibé áit a rachaidh tú.”
9 Mira que te mando que te esfuerces y seas valiente: no temas ni desmayes, porque Jehová tu Dios será contigo en donde quiera que fueres.
9 Siehe, ich habe dir geboten, daß du getrost und freudig seist. Laß dir nicht grauen und entsetze dich nicht; denn der HERR, dein Gott, ist mit dir in allem, was du tun wirst.
10 Then Joshua gave their orders to those who were in authority over the people, saying,
10 Josué donna cet ordre aux officiers du peuple:
10 Ansin thug Iósua ordú d'oifigigh an phobail á rá: “Gabhaigí tríd an gcampa agus tugaigí an t‑ordú seo don phobal:
10 Y Josué mandó á los oficiales del pueblo, diciendo:
10 Da gebot Josua den Hauptleuten des Volks und sprach:
11 Go through the tents and give orders to the people, saying, Get ready a store of food; for in three days you are to go over this river Jordan and take for your heritage the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
11 Parcourez le camp, et voici ce que vous commanderez au peuple: Préparez-vous des provisions, car dans trois jours vous passerez ce Jourdain pour aller conquérir le pays dont l'Éternel, votre Dieu, vous donne la possession.
11 ‘Ullmhaígí lón daoibh féin. Faoi cheann trí lá rachaidh sibh thar Iordáin anseo ar an tslí isteach chun seilbh a fháil ar an tír atá an Tiarna bhur nDia a thabhairt daoibh in bhur seilbh.’ ”
11 Pasad por medio del campo, y mandad al pueblo, diciendo: Preveníos de comida; porque dentro de tres días pasaréis el Jordán, para que entréis á poseer la tierra que Jehová vuestro Dios os da para que la poseáis.
11 Geht durch das Lager und gebietet dem Volk und sprecht: Schafft euch Vorrat; denn über drei Tage werdet ihr über diesen Jordan gehen, daß ihr hineinkommt und das Land einnehmt, daß euch der HERR, euer Gott, geben wird.
12 And to the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh, Joshua said,
12 Josué dit aux Rubénites, aux Gadites et à la demi-tribu de Manassé:
12 Agus dúirt Iósua leis na Reúbaenaigh, na Gádaigh, agus leath-threibh Mhanaise:
12 También habló Josué á los Rubenitas y Gaditas, y á la media tribu de Manasés, diciendo:
12 Und zu den Rubenitern, Gaditern und dem halben Stamm Manasse sprach Josua:
13 Keep in mind what Moses, the servant of the Lord, said to you, The Lord your God is sending you rest and will give you this land.
13 Rappelez-vous ce que vous a prescrit Moïse, serviteur de l'Éternel, quand il a dit: L'Éternel, votre Dieu, vous a accordé du repos, et vous a donné ce pays.
13 “Cuimhnigí ar ar ordaigh Maois óglach an Tiarna daoibh á rá: ‘Tá áit suaimhnis á sholáthar ag an Tiarna bhur nDia daoibh agus tabharfaidh sé an talamh seo daoibh.’
13 Acordaos de la palabra que Moisés, siervo de Jehová, os mandó diciendo: Jehová vuestro Dios os ha dado reposo, y os ha dado esta tierra.
13 Gedenket an das Wort, das euch Mose, der Knecht des HERRN, sagte und sprach: Der HERR, euer Gott, hat euch zur Ruhe gebracht und dies Land gegeben.
14 Your wives, your little ones, and your cattle will be kept here in the land which Moses gave you on this side of Jordan; but you, the fighting-men, are to go over before your brothers, armed, to give them help;
14 Vos femmes, vos petits enfants et vos troupeaux resteront dans le pays que vous a donné Moïse de ce côté-ci du Jourdain; mais vous tous, hommes vaillants, vous passerez en armes devant vos frères, et vous les aiderez,
14 Bhur mná, bhur miondaoine, bhur n‑airnéis, fanfaidh siad san fhearann a thug Maois daoibh, taobh thall den Iordáin; ach gach fear in bhur measc a iompraíonn airm, rachaidh siad anonn faoi airm os comhair bhur mbráithre agus cabhróidh siad leo,
14 Vuestras mujeres y vuestros niños y vuestras bestias, quedarán en la tierra que Moisés os ha dado de esta parte del Jordán; mas vosotros, todos los valientes y fuertes, pasaréis armados delante de vuestros hermanos, y les ayudaréis;
14 Eure Weiber und Kinder und Vieh laßt in dem Lande bleiben, das euch Mose gegeben hat, diesseit des Jordans; ihr aber sollt vor euren Brüdern her ziehen gerüstet, was streitbare Männer sind, und ihnen helfen,
15 Till the Lord has given your brothers rest, as he has given it to you, and they have taken their heritage in the land which the Lord your God is giving them: then you will go back to the land of your heritage which Moses, the servant of the Lord, gave you on the east side of Jordan.
15 jusqu'à ce que l'Éternel ait accordé du repos à vos frères comme à vous, et qu'ils soient aussi en possession du pays que l'Éternel, votre Dieu, leur donne. Puis vous reviendrez prendre possession du pays qui est votre propriété, et que vous a donné Moïse, serviteur de l'Éternel, de ce côté-ci du Jourdain, vers le soleil levant.
15 nó go dtugann an Tiarna suaimhneas do bhur mbráithre chomh maith libh féin agus go ngabhfaidh siadsan leis seilbh ar an bhfearann atá an Tiarna bhur nDia a thabhairt dóibh; ansin fillfidh sibh ar bhur bhfearann dílis agus seilbh a ghabháil air, an fearann a thug Maois óglach an Tiarna daoibh lastoir den Iordáin.”
15 Hasta tanto que Jehová haya dado reposo á vuestros hermanos como á vosotros, y que ellos también posean la tierra que Jehová vuestro Dios les da: y después volveréis vosotros á la tierra de vuestra herencia, la cual Moisés siervo de Jehová os ha dado, de esta parte del Jordán hacia donde nace el sol; y la poseeréis.
15 bis daß der HERR eure Brüder auch zur Ruhe bringt wie euch, daß sie auch einnehmen das Land, das ihnen der HERR, euer Gott, geben wird. Alsdann sollt ihr wieder umkehren in euer Land, das euch Mose, der Knecht des HERRN, gegeben hat zu besitzen diesseit des Jordans, gegen der Sonne Aufgang.
16 Then they said to Joshua in answer, Whatever you say to us we will do, and wherever you send us we will go.
16 Ils répondirent à Josué, en disant: Nous ferons tout ce que tu nous as ordonné, et nous irons partout où tu nous enverras.
16 D'fhreagraíodar Iósua á rá: “Déanfaimid gach ar ordaigh tú dúinn; rachaimid cibé áit a seolfaidh tú sinn.
16 Entonces respondieron á Josué, diciendo: Nosotros haremos todas las cosas que nos has mandado, é iremos adonde quiera que nos mandares.
16 Und sie antworteten Josua und sprachen: Alles, was du uns geboten hast, das wollen wir tun; und wo du uns hinsendest, da wollen wir hin gehen.
17 As we gave attention to Moses in all things, so we will give attention to you: and may the Lord your God be with you as he was with Moses.
17 Nous t'obéirons entièrement, comme nous avons obéi à Moïse. Veuille seulement l'Éternel, ton Dieu, être avec toi, comme il a été avec Moïse!
17 Rinneamar rud ar Mhaois i ngach gnó, agus déanfaimid rud ortsa mar an gcéanna; go raibh an Tiarna do Dhia leatsa faoi mar a bhí le Maois, sin uile!
17 De la manera que obedecimos á Moisés en todas las cosas, así te obedeceremos á ti: solamente Jehová tu Dios sea contigo, como fué con Moisés.
17 Wie wir Mose gehorsam sind gewesen, so wollen wir dir auch gehorsam sein; allein, daß der HERR, dein Gott, nur mit dir sei, wie er mit Mose war.
18 Whoever goes against your orders, and does not give attention to all your words, will be put to death: only take heart and be strong.
18 Tout homme qui sera rebelle à ton ordre, et qui n'obéira pas à tout ce que tu lui commanderas, sera puni de mort. Fortifie-toi seulement, et prends courage!
