1 These are the words of the agreement which Moses was ordered by the Lord to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, in addition to the agreement which he made with them in Horeb.
1 Voici les paroles de l'alliance que l'Éternel ordonna à Moïse de traiter avec les enfants d'Israël au pays de Moab, outre l'alliance qu'il avait traitée avec eux à Horeb.

1 Estas son las palabras del pacto que Jehová mandó á Moisés concertara con los hijos de Israel en la tierra de Moab, además del pacto que concertó con ellos en Horeb.
1 Dies sind die Worte des Bundes, den der HERR dem Mose geboten hat zu machen mit den Kindern Israel in der Moabiter Lande, zum andernmal, nachdem er denselben mit ihnen gemacht hatte am Horeb.
2 And Moses said in the hearing of all Israel, You have seen all the Lord did before your eyes in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh and to all his servants and all his land;
2 Moïse convoqua tout Israël, et leur dit: Vous avez vu tout ce que l'Éternel a fait sous vos yeux, dans le pays d'Égypte, à Pharaon, à tous ses serviteurs, et à tout son pays,
2 Ghair Maois ar Iosrael go léir agus dúirt leo: “Chonaic sibh gach a ndearna an Tiarna os comhair bhur súl i dtír na hÉigipte le Forann, lena shearbhóntaí, agus lena thír uile,
2 Moisés pues llamó á todo Israel, y díjoles: Vosotros habéis visto todo lo que Jehová ha hecho delante de vuestros ojos en la tierra de Egipto á Faraón y á todos sus siervos, y á toda su tierra:
2 Und Mose rief das ganze Israel und sprach zu ihnen; Ihr habt gesehen alles, was der HERR getan hat in Ägypten vor euren Augen dem Pharao mit allen seinen Knechten und seinem ganzen Lande,
3 The great tests which your eyes saw, and the signs and wonders:
3 les grandes épreuves que tes yeux ont vues, ces miracles et ces grands prodiges.
3 na cathuithe móra a chonaic do shúile cinn, na comharthaí agus na hiontais mhóra úd;
3 Las pruebas grandes que vieron tus ojos, las señales, y las grandes maravillas.
3 die großen Versuchungen, die deine Augen gesehen haben, daß es große Zeichen und Wunder waren.
4 But even to this day the Lord has not given you a mind open to knowledge, or seeing eyes or hearing ears.
4 Mais, jusqu'à ce jour, l'Éternel ne vous a pas donné un coeur pour comprendre, des yeux pour voir, des oreilles pour entendre.
4 ach go dtí an lá atá inniu ann, níor thug an Tiarna croí daoibh le tuiscint, ná súile le feiceáil, ná cluasa le clos.
4 Y Jehová no os dió corazón para entender, ni ojos para ver, ni oídos para oir, hasta el día de hoy.
4 Und der HERR hat euch bis auf diesen heutigen Tag noch nicht gegeben ein Herz, das verständig wäre, Augen, die da sähen, und Ohren, die da hörten.
5 For forty years I have been your guide through the waste land: your clothing has not become old on your backs, or your shoes on your feet.
5 Je t'ai conduit pendant quarante années dans le désert; tes vêtements ne se sont point usés sur toi, et ton soulier ne s'est point usé à ton pied;
5 Threoraigh mé san fhásach sibh ar feadh daichead bliain; ní dheachaigh caitheamh ar bhur gcuid éadaigh umaibh ná dreo ar do chuaráin faoi do chosa.
5 Y yo os he traído cuarenta años por el desierto: vuestros vestidos no se han envejecido sobre vosotros, ni tu zapato se ha envejecido sobre tu pie.
5 Er hat euch vierzig Jahre in der Wüste lassen wandeln: eure Kleider sind an euch nicht veraltet, und dein Schuh ist nicht veraltet an deinen Füßen;
6 You have had no bread, or wine, or strong drink: so that you might see that I am the Lord your God.
6 vous n'avez point mangé de pain, et vous n'avez bu ni vin ni liqueur forte, afin que vous connussiez que je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu.
6 Níor ith sibh arán; níor ól sibh fíon ná braon crua, i dtreo go mbeadh a fhios agaibh gur mise an Tiarna bhur nDia.
6 No habéis comido pan, ni bebisteis vino ni sidra: para que supieseis que yo soy Jehová vuestro Dios.
6 ihr habt kein Brot gegessen und keinen Wein getrunken noch starkes Getränk, auf daß du wissest, daß ich der HERR, euer Gott, bin.
7 When you came to this place, Sihon, king of Heshbon, and Og, king of Bashan, came out to make war against us and we overcame them:
7 Vous êtes arrivés dans ce lieu; Sihon, roi de Hesbon, et Og, roi de Basan, sont sortis à notre rencontre, pour nous combattre, et nous les avons battus.
7 Nuair a shroich sibh an áit seo tháinig Síochon rí Heisbeon agus Óg rí Bháiseán amach chun cath a chur inár n‑aghaidh, ach bhriseamar orthu.
7 Y llegasteis á este lugar, y salió Sehón rey de Hesbón, y Og rey de Basán, delante de nosotros para pelear, y herímoslos;
7 Und da ihr kamt an diesen Ort, zog aus der König Sihon zu Hesbon und der König Og von Basan uns entgegen, mit uns zu streiten; und wir haben sie geschlagen
8 And we took their land and gave it to the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh, for their heritage.
8 Nous avons pris leur pays, et nous l'avons donné en propriété aux Rubénites, aux Gadites et à la moitié de la tribu des Manassites.
8 Ghabhamar a dtír agus thugamar é mar oidhreacht do threibh Reúbaen agus do threibh Ghád agus do leath-threibh Mhanaise.
8 Y tomamos su tierra, y dímosla por heredad á Rubén y á Gad, y á la media tribu de Manasés.
8 und ihr Land eingenommen und zum Erbteil gegeben den Rubenitern und Gaditern und dem halben Stamm der Manassiter.
9 So keep the words of this agreement and do them, so that it may be well for you in everything you do.
9 Vous observerez donc les paroles de cette alliance, et vous les mettrez en pratique, afin de réussir dans tout ce que vous ferez.
9 “Coimeádaigí dá bhrí sin briathra an chonartha seo agus comhlíonaigí iad, agus rithfidh libh i ngach ní dá ndéanfaidh sibh.
9 Guardaréis, pues, las palabras de este pacto, y las pondréis por obra, para que prosperéis en todo lo que hiciereis.
9 So haltet nun die Worte dieses Bundes und tut darnach, auf daß ihr weise handeln möget in allem eurem Tun.
10 You have come here today, all of you, before the Lord your God; the heads of your tribes, the overseers, and those who are in authority over you, with all the men of Israel,
10 Vous vous présentez aujourd'hui devant l'Éternel, votre Dieu, vous tous, vos chefs de tribus, vos anciens, vos officiers, tous les hommes d'Israël,
10 Tá sibh uile in bhur seasamh anseo inniu i láthair an Tiarna bhur nDia - taoisigh bhur dtreibheanna, bhur seanóirí, bhur scríobhaithe, fir Iosrael go léir,
10 Vosotros todos estáis hoy delante de Jehová vuestro Dios; vuestros príncipes de vuestras tribus, vuestros ancianos, y vuestros oficiales, todos los varones de Israel,
10 Ihr stehet heute alle vor dem HERRN, eurem Gott, die Obersten eurer Stämme, eure Ältesten, eure Amtleute, ein jeder Mann in Israel,
11 And your little ones, your wives, and the men of other lands who are with you in your tents, down to the wood-cutter and the servant who gets water for you:
11 vos enfants, vos femmes, et l'étranger qui est au milieu de ton camp, depuis celui qui coupe ton bois jusqu'à celui qui puise ton eau.
11 bhur miondaoine, bhur mná, an deoraí i do champa - idir fhear gearrtha conaidh duit agus fhear tarraingthe uisce -
11 Vuestros niños, vuestras mujeres, y tus extranjeros que habitan en medio de tu campo, desde el que corta tu leña hasta el que saca tus aguas:
11 eure Kinder, eure Weiber, dein Fremdling, der in deinem Lager ist (beide, dein Holzhauer und dein Wasserschöpfer),
12 With the purpose of taking part in the agreement of the Lord your God, and his oath which he makes with you today:
12 Tu te présentes pour entrer dans l'alliance de l'Éternel, ton Dieu, dans cette alliance contractée avec serment, et que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, traite en ce jour avec toi,
12 agus tá tú ar tí dul i gconradh faoi mhionnaí leis an Tiarna do Dhia, conradh atá an Tiarna do Dhia a dhéanamh leat inniu,
12 Para que entres en el pacto de Jehová tu Dios, y en su juramento, que Jehová tu Dios acuerda hoy contigo:
12 daß du tretest in den Bund des HERRN, deines Gottes, und in den Eid, den der HERR, dein Gott, heute mit dir macht,
13 And so that he may make you his people today, and be your God, as he has said to you, and as he made an oath to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
13 afin de t'établir aujourd'hui pour son peuple et d'être lui-même ton Dieu, comme il te l'a dit, et comme il l'a juré à tes pères, Abraham, Isaac et Jacob.
13 le pobal leis féin a dhéanamh díot inniu, agus Dia a dhéanamh de féin duit, faoi mar a gheall sé duit féin agus a mhionnaigh sé do d'aithreacha d'Abrahám, d'Íosác, agus do Iacób. An Conradh agus na Glúine le Teacht
13 Para confirmarte hoy por su pueblo, y que él te sea á ti por Dios, de la manera que él te ha dicho, y como él juró á tus padres Abraham, Isaac, y Jacob.
13 auf daß er dich heute ihm zum Volk aufrichte und er dein Gott sei, wie er dir verheißen hat und wie er deinen Vätern Abraham, Isaak und Jakob geschworen hat.
14 And not with you only do I make this agreement and this oath;
14 Ce n'est point avec vous seuls que je traite cette alliance, cette alliance contractée avec serment.
14 “Ní libh féin amháin a dhéanaim an conradh faoi mhionnaí inniu,
14 Y no con vosotros solos acuerdo yo este pacto y este juramento,
14 denn ich mache diesen Bund und diesen Eid nicht mit euch allein,
15 But with everyone who is here with us today before the Lord our God, as well as with those who are not here:
15 Mais c'est avec ceux qui sont ici parmi nous, présents en ce jour devant l'Éternel, notre Dieu, et avec ceux qui ne sont point ici parmi nous en ce jour.
15 ach leis siúd nach bhfuil anseo linn inniu chomh maith céanna leis siúd atá ina sheasamh anseo linn i láthair an Tiarna ár nDia.
15 Sino con los que están aquí presentes hoy con nosotros delante de Jehová nuestro Dios, y con los que no están aquí hoy con nosotros.
15 sondern sowohl mit euch, die ihr heute hier seid und mit uns stehet vor dem HERRN, unserm Gott, als auch mit denen, die heute nicht mit uns sind.
16 (For you have in mind how we were living in the land of Egypt; and how we came through all the nations which were on your way;
16 Vous savez de quelle manière nous avons habité dans le pays d'Égypte, et comment nous avons passé au milieu des nations que vous avez traversées.
16 “Tá aithne agaibh orthu siúd ar chónaíomar ina measc san Éigipt, iad siúd ar ghabhamar trína dtailte, na ciníocha ar ghabhamar tríothu,
16 Porque vosotros sabéis cómo habitamos en la tierra de Egipto, y cómo hemos pasado por medio de las gentes que habéis pasado;
16 Denn ihr wißt, wie wir in Ägyptenland gewohnt haben und mitten durch die Heiden gezogen sind, durch welche ihr zoget,
17 And you have seen their disgusting doings, and the images of wood and stone and silver and gold which were among them:)
17 Vous avez vu leurs abominations et leurs idoles, le bois et la pierre, l'argent et l'or, qui sont chez elles.
17 agus chonaic sibh a ngráiniúlachtaí agus na híola adhmaid agus cloiche agus airgid agus óir a bhí acu ina measc.
17 Y habéis visto sus abominaciones y sus ídolos, madera y piedra, plata y oro, que tienen consigo.
17 und saht ihre Greuel und ihre Götzen, Holz und Stein, Silber und Gold, die bei ihnen waren.
18 So that there may not be among you any man or woman or family or tribe whose heart is turned away from the Lord our God today, to go after other gods and give them worship; or any root among you whose fruit is poison and bitter sorrow;
18 Qu'il n'y ait parmi vous ni homme, ni femme, ni famille, ni tribu, dont le coeur se détourne aujourd'hui de l'Éternel, notre Dieu, pour aller servir les dieux de ces nations-là. Qu'il n'y ait point parmi vous de racine qui produise du poison et de l'absinthe.
18 Ná bíodh fear ná bean ná clann ná treibh in bhur measc a iompaíonn a chroí inniu ón Tiarna ár nDia chun imeacht agus seirbhís a dhéanamh do dhéithe na gciníocha sin. Ná bíodh aon fhréamh in bhur measc a bhéarfadh toradh nimhneach searbh.
18 Quizá habrá entre vosotros varón, ó mujer, ó familia, ó tribu, cuyo corazón se vuelva hoy de con Jehová nuestro Dios, por andar á servir á los dioses de aquellas gentes; quizá habrá en vosotros raíz que eche veneno y ajenjo;
18 Daß nicht vielleicht ein Mann oder ein Weib oder ein Geschlecht oder ein Stamm unter euch sei, des Herz heute sich von dem HERRN, unserm Gott, gewandt habe, daß er hingehe und diene den Göttern dieser Völker und werde vielleicht eine Wurzel unter euch, die da Galle und Wermut trage,
19 If such a man, hearing the words of this oath, takes comfort in the thought that he will have peace even if he goes on in the pride of his heart, taking whatever chance may give him:
19 Que personne, après avoir entendu les paroles de cette alliance contractée avec serment, ne se glorifie dans son coeur et ne dise: J'aurai la paix, quand même je suivrai les penchants de mon coeur, et que j'ajouterai l'ivresse à la soif.
19 Tar éis dó briathra an chonartha mhionnaithe seo a chlos, má bheannaíonn a leithéid sin de dhuine é féin ina chroí á rá: ‘Ní cás dom déanamh de réir dhánaíocht mo chroí agus beidh mé slán; cuireann tuile uisce an teitheadh ar an tart,’
19 Y sea que, cuando el tal oyere las palabras de esta maldición, él se bendiga en su corazón, diciendo: Tendré paz, aunque ande según el pensamiento de mi corazón, para añadir la embriaguez á la sed:
19 und ob er schon höre die Worte dieses Fluches, dennoch sich segne in seinem Herzen und spreche: Es geht mir wohl, dieweil ich wandle, wie es mein Herz dünkt, auf daß die Trunkenen mit den Durstigen dahinfahren!
20 The Lord will have no mercy on him, but the wrath of the Lord will be burning against that man, and all the curses recorded in this book will be waiting for him, and the Lord will take away his name completely from the earth.
20 L'Éternel ne voudra point lui pardonner. Mais alors la colère et la jalousie de l'Éternel s'enflammeront contre cet homme, toutes les malédictions écrites dans ce livre reposeront sur lui, et l'Éternel effacera son nom de dessous les cieux.
20 ní mhaithfidh an Tiarna dó; ach lasfaidh fearg agus formad an Tiarna in aghaidh an duine sin, agus luífidh gach mallacht atá scríofa sa leabhar seo ar a mhullach, agus scriosfaidh an Tiarna a ainm ó faoi neamh.
20 Jehová no querrá perdonarle; antes humeará luego el furor de Jehová y su celo sobre el tal hombre, y asentaráse sobre él toda maldición escrita en este libro, y Jehová raerá su nombre de debajo del cielo:
20 Da wird der HERR dem nicht gnädig sein; sondern dann wird sein Zorn und Eifer rauchen über solchen Mann und werden sich auf ihn legen alle Flüche, die in diesem Buch geschrieben sind; und der HERR wird seinen Namen austilgen unter dem Himmel
21 He will be marked out by the Lord, from all the tribes of Israel, for an evil fate, in keeping with all the curses of the agreement recorded in this book of the law.
21 L'Éternel le séparera, pour son malheur, de toutes les tribus d'Israël, selon toutes les malédictions de l'alliance écrite dans ce livre de la loi.
21 Scarfaidh an Tiarna ó threibheanna Iosrael go léir é le haghaidh drochíde de réir mhallachtaí an chonartha atá scríofa i leabhar an dlí seo.
21 Y apartarálo Jehová de todas las tribus de Israel para mal, conforme á todas las maldiciones del pacto escrito en este libro de la ley.
21 und wird ihn absondern zum Unglück aus allen Stämmen Israels, laut aller Flüche des Bundes, der in dem Buch dieses Gesetzes geschrieben ist.
22 And future generations, your children coming after you, and travellers from far countries, will say, when they see the punishments of that land and the diseases which the Lord has sent on it;
22 Les générations à venir, vos enfants qui naîtront après vous et l'étranger qui viendra d'une terre lointaine, -à la vue des plaies et des maladies dont l'Éternel aura frappé ce pays, à la vue du soufre, du sel,
22 “An ghlúin le teacht, an chlann a éiríonn suas in bhur ndiaidh, agus an coimhthíoch a thagann ón imigéin, feicfidh siad plánna na tíre úd agus na galair a leagfaidh an Tiarna air,
22 Y dirá la generación venidera, vuestros hijos que vendrán después de vosotros, y el extranjero que vendrá de lejanas tierras, cuando vieren las plagas de aquesta tierra, y sus enfermedades de que Jehová la hizo enfermar,
22 So werden dann sagen die Nachkommen eurer Kinder, die nach euch aufkommen werden, und die Fremden, die aus fernen Landen kommen, wenn sie die Plagen dieses Landes sehen und die Krankheiten, womit sie der HERR beladen hat
23 And that all the land is a salt and smoking waste, not planted or giving fruit or clothed with grass, but wasted like Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, on which the Lord sent destruction in the heat of his wrath:
23 de l'embrasement de toute la contrée, où il n'y aura ni semence, ni produit, ni aucune herbe qui croisse, comme au bouleversement de Sodome, de Gomorrhe, d'Adma et de Tseboïm, que l'Éternel détruisit dans sa colère et dans sa fureur, -
23 agus liúfaidh siad: ‘Ruibh agus salann agus loscadh críche ar an bhfearann go léir! É gan cur gan toradh, gan féar ag fás go deo arís air! É millte mar Shodom agus Gomorá, Admá agus Zabóím, áiteanna a scrios an Tiarna le barr feirge agus díoltais.’
23 (Azufre y sal, abrasada toda su tierra: no será sembrada, ni producirá, ni crecerá en ella hierba ninguna, como en la subversión de Sodoma y de Gomorra, de Adma y de Seboim, que Jehová subvirtió en su furor y en su ira:)
23 (daß er all ihr Land mit Schwefel und Salz verbrannt hat, daß es nicht besät werden kann noch etwas wächst noch Kraut darin aufgeht, gleich wie Sodom und Gomorra, Adama und Zeboim umgekehrt sind, die der HERR in seinem Zorn und Grimm umgekehrt hat),
24 Truly all the nations will say, Why has the Lord done so to this land? what is the reason for this great and burning wrath?
24 toutes les nations diront: Pourquoi l'Éternel a-t-il ainsi traité ce pays? pourquoi cette ardente, cette grande colère?
24 Déarfaidh na ciníocha go léir de liú: ‘Cén fáth ar thug an Tiarna an íde seo ar an tír? Cad is ciall le mórbhruth seo a fheirge?’
24 Dirán, pues, todas las gentes: ¿Por qué hizo Jehová esto á esta tierra? ¿qué ira es ésta de tan gran furor?
24 so werden alle Völker sagen: Warum hat der HERR diesem Lande also getan? Was ist das für ein so großer und grimmiger Zorn?
25 Then men will say, Because they gave up the agreement of the Lord, the God of their fathers, which he made with them when he took them out of the land of Egypt:
25 Et l'on répondra: C'est parce qu'ils ont abandonné l'alliance contractée avec eux par l'Éternel, le Dieu de leurs pères, lorsqu'il les fit sortir du pays d'Égypte;
25 Déarfaidh daoine ansin: ‘Mar gur thréigeadar conradh an Tiarna, Dia a n‑aithreacha, an conradh a rinne sé leo nuair a thug sé amach iad as tír na hÉigipte;
25 Y responderán. Por cuanto dejaron el pacto de Jehová el Dios de sus padres, que él concertó con ellos cuando los sacó de la tierra de Egipto,
25 So wird man sagen: Darum daß sie den Bund des HERRN, des Gottes ihrer Väter, verlassen haben, den er mit ihnen machte, da er sie aus Ägyptenland führte,
26 And they went after other gods and gave them worship, gods who were strange to them, and whom he had not given them:
26 c'est parce qu'ils sont allés servir d'autres dieux et se prosterner devant eux, des dieux qu'ils ne connaissaient point et que l'Éternel ne leur avait point donnés en partage.
26 mar go ndeachadar agus seirbhís a dhéanamh do dhéithe eile agus adhradh dóibh cé gur dhéithe iad nárbh aithnid dóibh agus nár thug seisean dóibh.
26 Y fueron y sirvieron á dioses ajenos, é inclináronse á ellos, dioses que no conocían, y que ninguna cosa les habían dado:
26 und sind hingegangen und haben andern Göttern gedient und sie angebetet (solche Götter, die sie nicht kennen und die er ihnen nicht verordnet hat),
27 And so the wrath of the Lord was moved against this land, to send on it all the curse recorded in this book:
27 Alors la colère de l'Éternel s'est enflammée contre ce pays, et il a fait venir sur lui toutes les malédictions écrites dans ce livre.
27 Uime sin las fraoch feirge an Tiarna in aghaidh na tíre seo, agus thug air na mallachtaí go léir atá scríofa sa leabhar seo.
27 Encendióse por tanto, el furor de Jehová contra esta tierrra, para traer sobre ella todas las maldiciones escritas en esta libro;
27 darum ist des HERRN Zorn ergrimmt über dies Land, daß er über sie hat kommen lassen alle Flüche, die in diesem Buch geschrieben stehen;
28 Rooting them out of their land, in the heat of his wrath and passion, and driving them out into another land, as at this day.
28 L'Éternel les a arrachés de leur pays avec colère, avec fureur, avec une grande indignation, et il les a jetés sur un autre pays, comme on le voit aujourd'hui.
28 Stoith an Tiarna iad as a dtír le barr feirge agus cuthaigh agus straidhne, agus chaith amach i dtír eile iad, mar a bhfuil siad inniu.’ Filleadh agus Aithrí
28 Y Jehová los desarraigó de su tierra con enojo, y con saña, y con furor grande, y los echó á otra tierra, como hoy.
28 und der HERR hat sie aus ihrem Lande gestoßen mit großem Zorn, Grimm und Ungnade und hat sie in ein ander Land geworfen, wie es steht heutigestages.
29 The secret things are the Lord our God's: but the things which have been made clear are ours and our children's for ever, so that we may do all the words of this law.
29 Les choses cachées sont à l'Éternel, notre Dieu; les choses révélées sont à nous et à nos enfants, à perpétuité, afin que nous mettions en pratique toutes les paroles de cette loi.
