1 If a man takes a wife, and after they are married she is unpleasing to him because of some bad quality in her, let him give her a statement in writing and send her away from his house.
1 Lorsqu'un homme aura pris et épousé une femme qui viendrait à ne pas trouver grâce à ses yeux, parce qu'il a découvert en elle quelque chose de honteux, il écrira pour elle une lettre de divorce, et, après la lui avoir remise en main, il la renverra de sa maison.
1 “Abair gur thóg fear bean agus phós í; ach níorbh áil leis í agus fuair sé mínáire éigin le cur ina leith; agus scríobh sé bille scartha di agus thug ina láimh di é agus chuir sé chun siúil óna theach í;
1 Cuando alguno tomare mujer y se casare con ella, si no le agradare por haber hallado en ella alguna cosa torpe, le escribirá carta de repudio, y se la entregará en su mano, y despedirála de su casa.
1 Wenn jemand ein Weib nimmt und ehelicht sie, und sie nicht Gnade findet vor seinen Augen, weil er etwas schändliches an ihr gefunden hat, so soll er einen Scheidebrief schreiben und ihr in die Hand geben und sie aus seinem Haus entlassen.
2 And when she has gone away from him, she may become another man's wife.
2 Elle sortira de chez lui, s'en ira, et pourra devenir la femme d'un autre homme.
2 d'imigh sí léi amach agus phós fear eile í.
2 Y salida de su casa, podrá ir y casarse con otro hombre.
2 Wenn sie dann aus seinem Hause gegangen ist und hingeht und wird eines andern Weib,
3 And if the second husband has no love for her and, giving her a statement in writing, sends her away; or if death comes to the second husband to whom she was married;
3 Si ce dernier homme la prend en aversion, écrit pour elle une lettre de divorce, et, après la lui avoir remise en main, la renvoie de sa maison; ou bien, si ce dernier homme qui l'a prise pour femme vient à mourir,
3 Má thagann gráin ag an bhfear eile uirthi agus go scríobhann sé bille scartha di, agus é a thabhairt ina láimh di agus í a chur chun siúil óna theach [nó má fhaigheann an fear eile seo, a phós í, bás]
3 Y si la aborreciere aqueste último, y le escribiere carta de repudio, y se la entregare en su mano, y la despidiere de su casa; ó si muriere el postrer hombre que la tomó para sí por mujer,
3 und der andere ihr auch gram wird und einen Scheidebrief schreibt und ihr in die Hand gibt und sie aus seinem Hause läßt, oder so der andere Mann stirbt, der sie zum Weibe genommen hatte:
4 Her first husband, who had sent her away, may not take her back after she has been wife to another; for that is disgusting to the Lord: and you are not to be a cause of sin in the land which the Lord your God is giving you for your heritage.
4 alors le premier mari qui l'avait renvoyée ne pourra pas la reprendre pour femme après qu'elle a été souillée, car c'est une abomination devant l'Éternel, et tu ne chargeras point de péché le pays que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te donne pour héritage.
4 ní ceadmhach dá céad fhear, a chuir uaidh í, í a ghlacadh ar ais anois mar bhean ós rud é gur truaillíodh í ar an gcuma seo. Óir is fuath leis an Tiarna é sin agus ná tabhair ciontacht ar an tír a thugann an Tiarna do Dhia duit mar oidhreacht. Reachtanna Eile Cosanta
4 No podrá su primer marido, que la despidió, volverla á tomar para que sea su mujer, después que fué amancillada; porque es abominación delante de Jehová, y no has de pervertir la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da por heredad.
4 so kann sie ihr erster Mann, der sie entließ, nicht wiederum nehmen, daß sie sein Weib sei, nachdem sie unrein ist, den solches ist ein Greuel vor dem HERRN, auf daß du nicht eine Sünde über das Land bringst, das dir der HERR, dein Gott, zum Erbe gegeben hat.
5 A newly married man will not have to go out with the army or undertake any business, but may be free for one year, living in his house for the comfort of his wife.
5 Lorsqu'un homme sera nouvellement marié, il n'ira point à l'armée, et on ne lui imposera aucune charge; il sera exempté par raison de famille pendant un an, et il réjouira la femme qu'il a prise.
5 “Fear nuaphósta, ná téadh sé san arm agus ná bítear ag cur cúraimí air; fágtar sa bhaile é ar feadh bliana, saor ó dhualgais, le sólás a thabhairt don bhean a ghabh sé chuige.
5 Cuando tomare alguno mujer nueva, no saldrá á la guerra, ni en ninguna cosa se le ocupará; libre estará en su casa por un año, para alegrar á su mujer que tomó.
5 Wenn jemand kurz zuvor ein Weib genommen hat, der soll nicht in die Heerfahrt ziehen, und man soll ihm nichts auflegen. Er soll frei in seinem Hause sein ein Jahr lang, daß er fröhlich sei mit seinem Weibe, das er genommen hat.
6 No one is to take, on account of a debt, the stones with which grain is crushed: for in doing so he takes a man's living.
6 On ne prendra point pour gage les deux meules, ni la meule de dessus; car ce serait prendre pour gage la vie même.
6 Ná tógadh aon duine muileann ná bró i ngeall mar b'ionann sin agus anam a thógáil i ngeall.
6 No tomarás en prenda la muela de molino, ni la de abajo ni la de arriba: porque sería prendar la vida.
6 Du sollst nicht zum Pfande nehmen den unteren und den oberen Mühlstein; denn damit hättest du das Leben zum Pfand genommen.
7 If a man takes by force one of his countrymen, the children of Israel, using him as his property or getting a price for him, that thief is to be put to death: so you are to put away evil from among you.
7 Si l'on trouve un homme qui ait dérobé l'un de ses frères, l'un des enfants d'Israël, qui en ait fait son esclave ou qui l'ait vendu, ce voleur sera puni de mort. Tu ôteras ainsi le mal du milieu de toi.
7 Má bheirtear ar dhuine ag fuadach duine dá bhráithre, de chlann Iosrael, cibé acu le daor a dhéanamh de nó lena dhíol, ní foláir an gadaí sin a chur chun báis. Díbir an t‑olc seo ó bhur measc.
7 Cuando fuere hallado alguno que haya hurtado persona de sus hermanos los hijos de Israel, y hubiere mercadeado con ella, ó la hubiere vendido, el tal ladrón morirá, y quitarás el mal de en medio de ti.
7 Wenn jemand gefunden wird, der aus seinen Brüdern, aus den Kindern Israel, eine Seele stiehlt, und versetzt oder verkauft sie: solcher Dieb soll sterben, daß du das Böse von dir tust.
8 In connection with the leper's disease, take care to keep and do every detail of the teaching of the priests, the Levites: as I gave them orders, so you are to do.
8 Prends garde à la plaie de la lèpre, afin de bien observer et de faire tout ce que vous enseigneront les sacrificateurs, les Lévites; vous aurez soin d'agir d'après les ordres que je leur ai donnés.

8 Hüte dich bei der Plage des Aussatzes, daß du mit Fleiß haltest und tust alles, was dich die Priester, die Leviten, lehren; wie ich ihnen geboten habe, so sollt ihr's halten und darnach tun.
9 Keep in mind what the Lord your God did to Miriam on the way, when you came out of Egypt.

10 If you let your brother have the use of anything which is yours, do not go into his house and take anything of his as a sign of his debt;
10 Si tu fais à ton prochain un prêt quelconque, tu n'entreras point dans sa maison pour te saisir de son gage;
10 “Má bhíonn iasacht d'aon sórt á thabhairt agat do do chomharsa ná téigh isteach ina theach agus a gheall a ghabháil.
10 Cuando dieres á tu prójimo alguna cosa emprestada, no entrarás en su casa para tomarle prenda:
10 Wenn du deinem Nächsten irgend eine Schuld borgst, so sollst du nicht in sein Haus gehen und ihm ein Pfand nehmen,
11 But keep outside till he comes out and gives it to you.
11 tu resteras dehors, et celui à qui tu fais le prêt t'apportera le gage dehors.
11 Fan lasmuigh agus tugadh an té dá bhfuil an iasacht á tabhairt agat an geall amach chugat.
11 Fuera estarás, y el hombre á quien prestaste, te sacará afuera la prenda.
11 sondern du sollst außen stehen, und er, dem du borgst, soll sein Pfand zu dir herausbringen.
12 If he is a poor man, do not keep his property all night;
12 Si cet homme est pauvre, tu ne te coucheras point, en retenant son gage;
12 Más bochtán é ná codail ina gheall.
12 Y si fuere hombre pobre, no duermas con su prenda:
12 Ist er aber ein Dürftiger, so sollst du dich nicht schlafen legen über seinem Pfand,
13 But be certain to give it back to him when the sun goes down, so that he may have his clothing for sleeping in, and will give you his blessing: and this will be put to your account as righteousness before the Lord your God.
13 tu le lui rendras au coucher du soleil, afin qu'il couche dans son vêtement et qu'il te bénisse; et cela te sera imputé à justice devant l'Éternel, ton Dieu.
13 Nuair a théann an ghrian faoi, tabhair an geall ar ais dó i dtreo gur féidir dó codladh ina bhrat agus beannacht a chur ort; beidh sin ina ghníomh fónta agat i láthair an Tiarna do Dhia.
13 Precisamente le devolverás la prenda cuando el sol se ponga, para que duerma en su ropa, y te bendiga: y te será justicia delante de Jehová tu Dios.
13 sondern sollst ihm sein Pfand wiedergeben, wenn die Sonne untergeht, daß er in seinem Kleide schlafe und segne dich. Das wird dir vor dem HERRN, deinem Gott, eine Gerechtigkeit sein.
14 Do not be hard on a servant who is poor and in need, if he is one of your countrymen or a man from another nation living with you in your land.
14 Tu n'opprimeras point le mercenaire, pauvre et indigent, qu'il soit l'un de tes frères, ou l'un des étrangers demeurant dans ton pays, dans tes portes.
14 “Ná tar i dtír ar fhostúch bocht dealbh, más bráthair duit é, más deoraí i do dhúiche é atá ag cur faoi i do bhailte.
14 No hagas agravio al jornalero pobre y menesteroso, así de tus hermanos como de tus extranjeros que están en tu tierra en tus ciudades:
14 Du sollst dem Dürftigen und Armen seinen Lohn nicht vorenthalten, er sei von deinen Brüdern oder den Fremdlingen, die in deinem Lande und in deinen Toren sind,
15 Give him his payment day by day, not keeping it back over night; for he is poor and his living is dependent on it; and if his cry against you comes to the ears of the Lord, it will be judged as sin in you.
15 Tu lui donneras le salaire de sa journée avant le coucher du soleil; car il est pauvre, et il lui tarde de le recevoir. Sans cela, il crierait à l'Éternel contre toi, et tu te chargerais d'un péché.
15 Tabhair a thuarastal dó an lá a thuillfidh sé é, sula dtéann an ghrian faoi [mar tá sé bocht agus tá dúil aige ann] le heagla go n‑éifeadh sé chun an Tiarna i d'aghaidh, agus gur pheaca duit sin.
15 En su día le darás su jornal, y no se pondrá el sol sin dárselo: pues es pobre, y con él sustenta su vida: porque no clame contra ti á Jehová, y sea en ti pecado.
15 sondern sollst ihm seinen Lohn des Tages geben, daß die Sonne nicht darüber untergehe (denn er ist dürftig und erhält seine Seele damit), auf daß er nicht wider dich den HERRN anrufe und es dir Sünde sei.
16 Fathers are not to be put to death for their children or children for their fathers: every man is to be put to death for the sin which he himself has done.
16 On ne fera point mourir les pères pour les enfants, et l'on ne fera point mourir les enfants pour les pères; on fera mourir chacun pour son péché.
16 Ná cuirtear aithreacha chun báis thar ceann a mac, ná mic thar ceann a n‑aithreacha. Cuirtear gach duine chun báis ar son a choire féin.
16 Los padres no morirán por los hijos, ni los hijos por los padres; cada uno morirá por su pecado.
16 Die Väter sollen nicht für die Kinder noch die Kinder für die Väter sterben, sondern ein jeglicher soll für seine Sünde sterben.
17 Be upright in judging the cause of the man from a strange country and of him who has no father; do not take a widow's clothing on account of a debt:
17 Tu ne porteras point atteinte au droit de l'étranger et de l'orphelin, et tu ne prendras point en gage le vêtement de la veuve.
17 “Ná déan breith a chlaonadh i gcás deoraí ná dílleachta, agus ná tóg brat baintrí i ngeall.
17 No torcerás el derecho del peregrino y del huérfano; ni tomarás por prenda la ropa de la viuda:
17 Du sollst das Recht des Fremdlings und des Waisen nicht beugen und sollst der Witwe nicht das Kleid zum Pfand nehmen.
18 But keep in mind that you were a servant in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God made you free: for this is why I give you orders to do this.
18 Tu te souviendras que tu as été esclave en Égypte, et que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'a racheté; c'est pourquoi je te donne ces commandements à mettre en pratique.
18 Cuimhnigh go raibh tú féin i do dhaor san Éigipt agus go ndearna an Tiarna do Dhia thú a fhuascailt as an áit sin; uime sin a thugaim an aithne seo duit le comhlíonadh.
18 Mas acuérdate que fuiste siervo en Egipto, y de allí te rescató Jehová tu Dios: por tanto, yo te mando que hagas esto.
18 Denn du sollst gedenken, daß du Knecht in Ägypten gewesen bist und der HERR, dein Gott, dich von dort erlöst hat; darum gebiete ich dir, daß du solches tust.
19 When you get in the grain from your field, if some of the grain has been dropped by chance in the field, do not go back and get it, but let it be for the man from a strange land, the child without a father, and the widow: so that the blessing of the Lord your God may be on all the work of your hands.
19 Quand tu moissonneras ton champ, et que tu auras oublié une gerbe dans le champ, tu ne retourneras point la prendre: elle sera pour l'étranger, pour l'orphelin et pour la veuve, afin que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te bénisse dans tout le travail de tes mains.
19 “Nuair a bhíonn an fómhar á bhaint agat sa ghort agus go ndéanann tú dearmad ar phunann sa ghort, na téigh siar ag triall uirthi. Fág ansiúd í don deoraí, don dílleachta agus don bhaintreach i dtreo go ndéanfadh an Tiarna do Dhia a bheannacht a chur ort i do chúraimí go léir.
19 Cuando segares tu mies en tu campo, y olvidares alguna gavilla en el campo, no volverás a tomarla: para el extranjero, para el huérfano, y para la viuda será; porque te bendiga Jehová tu Dios en toda obra de tus manos.
19 Wenn du auf deinem Acker geerntet und eine Garbe vergessen hast auf dem Acker, so sollst du nicht umkehren, dieselbe zu holen, sondern sie soll des Fremdlings, des Waisen und der Witwe sein, auf daß dich der HERR, dein Gott, segne in allen Werken deiner Hände.
20 When you are shaking the fruit from your olive-trees, do not go over the branches a second time: let some be for the man from a strange land, the child without a father, and the widow.
20 Quand tu secoueras tes oliviers, tu ne cueilleras point ensuite les fruits restés aux branches: ils seront pour l'étranger, pour l'orphelin et pour la veuve.

21 When you are pulling the grapes from your vines, do not take up those which have been dropped; let them be for the man from a strange land, the child without a father, and the widow.

22 Keep in mind that you were a servant in the land of Egypt: for this is why I give you orders to do this.
