1 Take care to keep all the orders which I give you today, so that you may have life and be increased and go in and take as a heritage the land which the Lord, by his oath to your fathers, undertook to give you.
1 Vous observerez et vous mettrez en pratique tous les commandements que je vous prescris aujourd'hui, afin que vous viviez, que vous multipliiez, et que vous entriez en possession du pays que l'Éternel a juré de donner à vos pères.
1 “Na haitheanta go léir a ordaím duit inniu, ní foláir duit iad a choimeád agus a chomhlíonadh, d'fhonn go mbeadh an bheatha agaibh agus go rachadh sibh i líonmhaire agus dul isteach agus seilbh a fháil ar an tír a mhionnaigh an Tiarna a thabharfadh sé do bhur n‑aithreacha.
1 Cuidaréis de poner por obra todo mandamiento que yo os ordeno hoy, porque viváis, y seáis multiplicados, y entréis, y poseáis la tierra, de la cual juró Jehová á vuestros padres.
1 Alle Gebote, die ich dir heute gebiete, sollt ihr halten daß ihr darnach tut, auf daß ihr lebt und gemehrt werdet und hineinkommt und einnehmet das Land, das der HERR euren Vätern geschworen hat.
2 And keep in mind the way by which the Lord your God has taken you through the waste land these forty years, so that he might make low your pride and put you to the test, to see what was in your heart and if you would keep his orders or not.
2 Souviens-toi de tout le chemin que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'a fait faire pendant ces quarante années dans le désert, afin de l'humilier et de t'éprouver, pour savoir quelles étaient les dispositions de ton coeur et si tu garderais ou non ses commandements.
2 Agus cuimhnigh ar an gcaoi go léir ar threoraigh an Tiarna do Dhia thú le daichead bliain san fhásach, d'fhonn tú a umhlú, tú a phromhadh, agus eolas a chur ar rún do chroí féachaint an gcoimeádfá a aitheanta nó nach ndéanfá.
2 Y acordarte has de todo el camino por donde te ha traído Jehová tu Dios estos cuarenta años en el desierto, para afligirte, por probarte, para saber lo que estaba en tu corazón, si habías de guardar ó no sus mandamientos.
2 Und gedenke alles des Weges, durch den dich der HERR, dein Gott, geleitet hat diese vierzig Jahre in der Wüste, auf daß er dich demütigte und versuchte, daß kund würde, was in deinem Herzen wäre, ob du seine Gebote halten würdest oder nicht.
3 And he made low your pride and let you be without food and gave you manna for your food, a thing new to you, which your fathers never saw; so that he might make it clear to you that bread is not man's only need, but his life is in every word which comes out of the mouth of the Lord.
3 Il t'a humilié, il t'a fait souffrir de la faim, et il t'a nourri de la manne, que tu ne connaissais pas et que n'avaient pas connue tes pères, afin de t'apprendre que l'homme ne vit pas de pain seulement, mais que l'homme vit de tout ce qui sort de la bouche de l'Éternel.
3 D'umhlaigh sé thú agus d'fhág ocrach thú agus chothaigh thú le manna nárbh eol duit féin ná do d'aithreacha, d'fhonn é a chur in iúl duit nach ar arán amháin a mhaireann an duine, ach go maireann an duine ar gach ní a thagann ó bhéal Dé.
3 Y te afligió, é hízote tener hambre, y te sustentó con maná, comida que no conocías tú, ni tus padres la habían conocido; para hacerte saber que el hombre no vivirá de solo pan, mas de todo lo que sale de la boca de Jehová vivirá el hombre.
3 Er demütigte dich und ließ dich hungern und speiste dich mit Man, das du und deine Väter nie gekannt hattet; auf daß er dir kundtäte, daß der Mensch nicht lebt vom Brot allein, sondern von allem, was aus dem Mund des HERRN geht.
4 Through all these forty years your clothing did not get old or your feet become tired.
4 Ton vêtement ne s'est point usé sur toi, et ton pied ne s'est point enflé, pendant ces quarante années.
4 Ní dheachaigh caitheamh ar an éadach ar do dhroim, ná níor tháinig at ar do chosa, i gcaitheamh an daichead bliain sin.
4 Tu vestido nunca se envejeció sobre ti, ni el pie se te ha hinchado por estos cuarenta años.
4 Deine Kleider sind nicht veraltet an dir, und deine Füße sind nicht geschwollen diese vierzig Jahre.
5 Keep in mind this thought, that as a son is trained by his father, so you have been trained by the Lord your God.
5 Reconnais en ton coeur que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te châtie comme un homme châtie son enfant.
5 Bíodh a fhios agat as sin go raibh an Tiarna do Dhia do do oiliúint mar a d'oilfeadh fear a mhac.
5 Reconoce asimismo en tu corazón, que como castiga el hombre á su hijo, así Jehová tu Dios te castiga.

6 Then keep the orders of the Lord your God, fearing him and walking in his ways.
6 Tu observeras les commandements de l'Éternel, ton Dieu, pour marcher dans ses voies et pour le craindre.
6 Coinnigh dá bhrí sin aitheanta an Tiarna do Dhia, agus lean a chosáin agus bíodh urraim agat dó. Tír Tairngire
6 Guardarás, pues, los mandamientos de Jehová tu Dios, andando en sus caminos, y temiéndolo.
6 So halte nun die Gebote des HERRN, deines Gottes, daß du in seinen Wegen wandelst und fürchtest ihn.
7 For the Lord your God is guiding you into a good land, a land of water-springs, of fountains, and deep streams flowing out from the valleys and the hills;
7 Car l'Éternel, ton Dieu, va te faire entrer dans un bon pays, pays de cours d'eau, de sources et de lacs, qui jaillissent dans les vallées et dans les montagnes;
7 Óir tá an Tiarna do Dhia do do thabhairt isteach i dtír fhónta, tír sruthán agus toibreacha, agus foinsí ag brúchtaíl aníos i ngleannta agus ar shléibhte,
7 Porque Jehová tu Dios te introduce en la buena tierra, tierra de arroyos, de aguas, de fuentes, de abismos que brotan por vegas y montes;
7 Denn der HERR, dein Gott, führt dich in ein gutes Land, ein Land, darin Bäche und Brunnen und Seen sind, die an den Bergen und in den Auen fließen;
8 A land of grain and vines and fig-trees and fair fruits; a land of oil-giving olive-trees and honey;
8 pays de froment, d'orge, de vignes, de figuiers et de grenadiers; pays d'oliviers et de miel;
8 tír chruithneachta agus eorna, fíniúna agus figí agus pomagránaití, tír ológ agus ola agus meala,
8 Tierra de trigo y cebada, y de vides, é higueras, y granados; tierra de olivas, de aceite, y de miel;
8 ein Land, darin Weizen, Gerste, Weinstöcke, Feigenbäume und Granatäpfel sind; ein Land darin Ölbäume und Honig wachsen;
9 Where there will be bread for you in full measure and you will be in need of nothing; a land where the very stones are iron and from whose hills you may get copper.
9 pays où tu mangeras du pain avec abondance, où tu ne manqueras de rien; pays dont les pierres sont du fer, et des montagnes duquel tu tailleras l'airain.
9 tír ina mbeidh arán gan ghannchúis le hithe agat gan aon ní in easnamh ort ann, tír arb iarann a chlocha agus ar féidir leat copar a bhaint as a shléibhte.
9 Tierra en la cual no comerás el pan con escasez, no te faltará nada en ella; tierra que sus piedras son hierro, y de sus montes cortarás metal.
9 ein Land, da du Brot genug zu essen hast, da dir nichts mangelt; ein Land, des Steine Eisen sind, da du Erz aus den Bergen hauest.
10 And you will have food enough and be full, praising the Lord your God for the good land he has given you.
10 Lorsque tu mangeras et te rassasieras, tu béniras l'Éternel, ton Dieu, pour le bon pays qu'il t'a donné.
10 Íosfaidh tú agus beidh do sháith agat agus beannóidh tú an Tiarna do Dhia ar son an fhearainn fhónta a thug sé duit.
10 Y comerás y te hartarás, y bendecirás á Jehová tu Dios por la buena tierra que te habrá dado.
10 Und wenn du gegessen hast und satt bist, sollst du den HERRN, deinen Gott, loben für das gute Land, das er dir gegeben hat.
11 Then take care that you are not turned away from the Lord your God and from keeping his orders and decisions and laws which I give you this day:
11 Garde-toi d'oublier l'Éternel, ton Dieu, au point de ne pas observer ses commandements, ses ordonnances et ses lois, que je te prescris aujourd'hui.
11 “Bí ar d'aire agus ná déan dearmad ar an Tiarna do Dhia le faillí a dhéanamh ina aitheanta, a reachtanna agus a dhlíthe de réir mar a ordaím duit inniu.
11 Guárdate, que no te olvides de Jehová tu Dios, para no observar sus mandamientos, y sus derechos, y sus estatutos, que yo te ordeno hoy:
11 So hüte dich nun, daß du des HERRN, deines Gottes, nicht vergessest, damit daß du seine Gebote und seine Gesetze und Rechte, die ich dir heute gebiete, nicht hältst;
12 And when you have taken food and are full, and have made fair houses for yourselves and are living in them;
12 Lorsque tu mangeras et te rassasieras, lorsque tu bâtiras et habiteras de belles maisons,
12 Nuair a bheidh bia ite agat agus go mbeidh tú lán, agus nuair a thógfaidh tú tithe móra agus conaí iontu,
12 Que quizá no comas y te hartes, y edifiques buenas casas en que mores,
12 daß, wenn du nun gegessen hast und satt bist und schöne Häuser erbaust und darin wohnst
13 And when your herds and your flocks are increased, and your stores of silver and gold, and you have wealth of every sort;
13 lorsque tu verras multiplier ton gros et ton menu bétail, s'augmenter ton argent et ton or, et s'accroître tout ce qui est à toi,
13 nuair a thiocfaidh breis ar do tháinte agus ar do thréada, agus breis ar do airgead agus ar d'ór agus breis ar do mhaoin go léir,
13 Y tus vacas y tus ovejas se aumenten, y la plata y el oro se te multiplique, y todo lo que tuvieres se te aumente,
13 und du deine Rinder und Schafe und Silber und Gold und alles, was du hast, sich mehrt,
14 Take care that your hearts are not lifted up in pride, giving no thought to the Lord your God who took you out of the land of Egypt, out of the prison-house;
14 prends garde que ton coeur ne s'enfle, et que tu n'oublies l'Éternel, ton Dieu, qui t'a fait sortir du pays d'Égypte, de la maison de servitude,
14 ná tagadh uaill i do chroí. Ná déan dearmad ansin ar an Tiarna do Dhia a thug amach thú as tír na hÉigipte, as teach na daoirse;
14 Y se eleve luego tu corazón, y te olvides de Jehová tu Dios, que te sacó de tierra de Egipto, de casa de siervos;
14 daß dann dein Herz sich nicht überhebe und du vergessest des HERRN, deines Gottes, der dich aus Ägyptenland geführt hat, aus dem Diensthause,
15 Who was your guide through that great and cruel waste, where there were poison-snakes and scorpions and a dry land without water; who made water come out of the hard rock for you;
15 qui t'a fait marcher dans ce grand et affreux désert, où il y a des serpents brûlants et des scorpions, dans des lieux arides et sans eau, et qui a fait jaillir pour toi de l'eau du rocher le plus dur,
15 a threoraigh thú tríd an bhfásach mór uafásach seo, dúiche nathracha tintí agus scairpeanna, agus tarta; a thug uisce as an gcarraig chrua san áit róthirim seo;
15 Que te hizo caminar por un desierto grande y espantoso, de serpientes ardientes, y de escorpiones, y de sed, donde ningún agua había, y él te sacó agua de la roca del pedernal;
15 und dich geleitet hat durch die große und grausame Wüste, da feurige Schlangen und Skorpione und eitel Dürre und kein Wasser war, und ließ dir Wasser aus dem harten Felsen gehen
16 Who gave you manna for your food in the waste land, a food which your fathers had never seen; so that your pride might be broken and your hearts tested for your good in the end;
16 qui t'a fait manger dans le désert la manne inconnue à tes pères, afin de t'humilier et de t'éprouver, pour te faire ensuite du bien.
16 a chothaigh san fhásach thú le manna nárbh eol do d'aithreacha, d'fhonn go n‑úmhlódh sé thú agus tú a phromhadh agus tairbhe a dhéanamh duit i ndeireadh na dála.
16 Que te sustentó con maná en el desierto, comida que tus padres no habían conocido, afligiéndote y probándote, para á la postre hacerte bien;
16 und speiste dich mit Man in der Wüste, von welchem deine Väter nichts gewußt haben, auf daß er dich demütigte und versuchte, daß er dir hernach wohltäte.
17 Say not then, in your hearts, My power and the strength of my hands have got me this wealth.
17 Garde-toi de dire en ton coeur: Ma force et la puissance de ma main m'ont acquis ces richesses.
17 Seachain agus ná habair i do chroí istigh: ‘Is é mo chumas féin agus neart mo láimhe a ghnóthaigh an saibhreas seo dom.’
17 Y digas en tu corazón: Mi poder y la fortaleza de mi mano me han traído esta riqueza.
17 Du möchtest sonst sagen in deinem Herzen: Meine Kräfte und meiner Hände Stärke haben mir dies Vermögen ausgerichtet.
18 But keep in mind the Lord your God: for it is he who gives you the power to get wealth, so that he may give effect to the agreement which he made by his oath with your fathers, as at this day.
18 Souviens-toi de l'Éternel, ton Dieu, car c'est lui qui te donnera de la force pour les acquérir, afin de confirmer, comme il le fait aujourd'hui, son alliance qu'il a jurée à tes pères.
18 Cuimhnigh ar an Tiarna do Dhia óir is é a thug an cumas seo duit agus a ghnóthaigh an saibhreas seo duit; agus choimeád sé ar an gcaoi sin an conradh a mhionnaigh sé do d'aithreacha, mar a dhéanann fós inniu.
18 Antes acuérdate de Jehová tu Dios: porque él te da el poder para hacer las riquezas, á fin de confirmar su pacto que juró á tus padres, como en este día.
18 Sondern gedenke an den HERRN, deinen Gott; denn er ist's, der dir Kräfte gibt, solch mächtige Taten zu tun, auf daß er hielte seinen Bund, den er deinen Vätern geschworen hat, wie es geht heutigestages.
19 And it is certain that if at any time you are turned away from the Lord your God, and go after other gods, to be their servants and to give them worship, destruction will overtake you.
19 Si tu oublies l'Éternel, ton Dieu, et que tu ailles après d'autres dieux, si tu les sers et te prosternes devant eux, je vous déclare formellement aujourd'hui que vous périrez.
19 Má dhéanann tú dearmad ar an Tiarna do Dhia, má leanann tú déithe eile agus seirbhís a dhéanamh dóibh agus iad a adhradh, tóg uaimse anois é, bí deimhin de go scriosfar sibh.
19 Mas será, si llegares á olvidarte de Jehová tu Dios, y anduvieres en pos de dioses ajenos, y les sirvieres, y á ellos te encorvares, protésto lo hoy contra vosotros, que de cierto pereceréis.
19 Wirst du aber des HERRN, deines Gottes, vergessen und andern Göttern nachfolgen und ihnen dienen und sie anbeten, so bezeuge ich heute über euch, daß ihr umkommen werdet;
20 Like the nations which the Lord is cutting off before you, so you will be cut off; because you would not give ear to the voice of the Lord your God.
20 Vous périrez comme les nations que l'Éternel fait périr devant vous, parce que vous n'aurez point écouté la voix de l'Éternel, votre Dieu.
