1 When the Lord your God takes you into the land where you are going, which is to be your heritage, and has sent out the nations before you, the Hittites and the Girgashites and the Amorites and the Canaanites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and stronger than you;
1 Lorsque l'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'aura fait entrer dans le pays dont tu vas prendre possession, et qu'il chassera devant toi beaucoup de nations, les Héthiens, les Guirgasiens, les Amoréens, les Cananéens, les Phéréziens, les Héviens et les Jébusiens, sept nations plus nombreuses et plus puissantes que toi;
1 “Nuair a sheolfaidh an Tiarna do Dhia thú isteach sa tír ina bhfuil tú ag dul le seilbh a thógáil air, agus a scriosfaidh sé a lán ciníocha romhat, na Hitigh, na Giorgáisigh, na hAmóraigh, na Canánaigh, na Pirizigh, na Hivigh, na Iabúsaigh, seacht gcine is mó agus is treise ná sibh féin,
1 Cuando Jehová tu Dios te hubiere introducido en la tierra en la cual tú has de entrar para poseerla, y hubiere echado de delante de ti muchas gentes, al Hetheo, al Gergeseo, y al Amorrheo, y al Cananeo, y al Pherezeo, y al Heveo, y al Jebuseo, siete naciones mayores y más fuertes que tú;
1 Wenn dich der HERR, dein Gott, in das Land bringt, darein du kommen wirst, es einzunehmen, und ausgerottet viele Völker vor dir her, die Hethiter, Girgasiter, Amoriter, Kanaaniter, Pheresiter, Heviter und Jebusiter, sieben Völker, die größer und stärker sind denn du,
2 And when the Lord has given them up into your hands and you have overcome them, give them up to complete destruction: make no agreement with them, and have no mercy on them:
2 lorsque l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te les aura livrées et que tu les auras battues, tu les dévoueras par interdit, tu ne traiteras point d'alliance avec elles, et tu ne leur feras point grâce.
2 agus nuair a dhéanfaidh an Tiarna do Dhia iad a thabhairt ar láimh duit, cloífidh tú iad. Ní foláir duit iad a chur faoi bhang, agus gan aon chonradh a dhéanamh leo, ná aon trócaire a dhéanamh orthu.
2 Y Jehová tu Dios las hubiere entregado delante de ti, y las hirieres, del todo las destruirás: no harás con ellos alianza, ni las tomarás á merced.
2 und wenn sie der HERR, dein Gott, vor dir dahingibt, daß du sie schlägst, so sollt ihr sie verbannen, daß du keinen Bund mit ihnen machest noch ihnen Gunst erzeigest.
3 Do not take wives or husbands from among them; do not give your daughters to their sons, or take their daughters for your sons.
3 Tu ne contracteras point de mariage avec ces peuples, tu ne donneras point tes filles à leurs fils, et tu ne prendras point leurs filles pour tes fils;
3 Ná déan cleamhnas leo; ná tabhair iníon leat do mhac díobh, agus ná tóg iníon leo do mhac leat.
3 Y no emparentarás con ellos: no darás tu hija á su hijo, ni tomarás á su hija para tu hijo.
3 Und sollst dich mit ihnen nicht befreunden: eure Töchter sollt ihr nicht geben ihren Söhnen, und ihre Töchter sollt ihr nicht nehmen euren Söhnen.
4 For through them your sons will be turned from me to the worship of other gods: and the Lord will be moved to wrath against you and send destruction on you quickly.
4 car ils détournaient de moi tes fils, qui serviraient d'autres dieux, et la colère de l'Éternel s'enflammerait contre vous: il te détruirait promptement.
4 Óir chlaonfaidís do mhac, ó bheith dom leanúint-sé, chun seirbhís do dhéithe eile; agus ansin lasfadh fearg an Tiarna i d'aghaidh, agus scriosfadh sé thú ar an toirt.
4 Porque desviará á tu hijo de en pos de mí, y servirán á dioses ajenos; y el furor de Jehová se encenderá sobre vosotros, y te destruirá presto.
4 Denn sie werden eure Söhne mir abfällig machen, daß sie andern Göttern dienen; so wird dann des HERRN Zorn ergrimmen über euch und euch bald vertilgen.
5 But this is what you are to do to them: their altars are to be pulled down and their pillars broken, and their holy trees cut down and their images burned with fire.
5 Voici, au contraire, comment vous agirez à leur égard: vous renverserez leurs autels, vous briserez leurs statues, vous abattrez leurs idoles, et vous brûlerez au feu leurs images taillées.
5 Ach seo í an íde a thabharfaidh sibh orthu: scartálaigí a n‑altóirí, agus brisigí a n‑íomhánna, agus gearraigí anuas a gcuaillí naofa agus cuirigí tine lena n‑íola snoite.
5 Mas así habéis de hacer con ellos: sus altares destruiréis, y quebraréis sus estatuas, y cortaréis sus bosques, y quemaréis sus esculturas en el fuego.
5 Sondern also sollt ihr mit ihnen tun: ihre Altäre sollt ihr zerreißen, ihre Säulen zerbrechen, ihre Haine abhauen und ihre Götzen mit Feuer verbrennen.
6 For you are a holy people to the Lord your God: marked out by the Lord your God to be his special people out of all the nations on the face of the earth.
6 Car tu es un peuple saint pour l'Éternel, ton Dieu; l'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'a choisi, pour que tu fusse un peuple qui lui appartînt entre tous les peuples qui sont sur la face de la terre.
6 Óir is pobal tú atá coisricthe don Tiarna do Dhia; is tú a thogh an Tiarna do Dhia as na ciníocha uile ar chlár na cruinne le bheith i do phobal ar leith aige féin.
6 Porque tú eres pueblo santo á Jehová tu Dios: Jehová tu Dios te ha escogido para serle un pueblo especial, más que todos los pueblos que están sobre la haz de la tierra.
6 Denn du bist ein heiliges Volk dem HERRN, deinem Gott, Dich hat der HERR, dein Gott erwählt zum Volk des Eigentums aus allen Völkern, die auf Erden sind.
7 The Lord did not give you his love or take you for himself because you were more in number than any other people; for you were the smallest of the nations:
7 Ce n'est point parce que vous surpassez en nombre tous les peuples, que l'Éternel s'est attaché à vous et qu'il vous a choisis, car vous êtes le moindre de tous les peuples.
7 “Níor thug an Tiarna grá daoibh, ná níor thogh sé sibh de bhrí gur líonmhaire sibh ná pobal ar bith eile, óir ba sibh an pobal ba shuaraí de na pobail go léir.
7 No por ser vosotros más que todos los pueblos os ha querido Jehová, y os ha escogido; porque vosotros erais los más pocos de todos los pueblos:
7 Nicht hat euch der HERR angenommen und euch erwählt, darum daß euer mehr wäre als alle Völker, denn du bist das kleinste unter allen Völkern;
8 But because of his love for you, and in order to keep his oath to your fathers, the Lord took you out with the strength of his hand, making you free from the prison-house and from the hand of Pharaoh, king of Egypt.
8 Mais, parce que l'Éternel vous aime, parce qu'il a voulu tenir le serment qu'il avait fait à vos pères, l'Éternel vous a fait sortir par sa main puissante, vous a délivrés de la maison de servitude, de la main de Pharaon, roi d'Égypte.
8 Is le barr a ghrá daoibh agus toisc go bhfuil an Tiarna ag comhlíonadh an mhionna a mhionnaigh sé do bhur n‑aithreacha, a thug an Tiarna amach sibh le láimh láidir agus a d'fhuascail sé sibh ó theach na daoirse, agus ó chumhacht Fhorainn rí na hÉigipte.
8 Sino porque Jehová os amó, y quiso guardar el juramento que juró á vuestros padres, os ha sacado Jehová con mano fuerte, y os ha rescatado de casa de siervos, de la mano de Faraón, rey de Egipto.
8 sondern darum, daß er euch geliebt hat und daß er seinen Eid hielte, den er euren Vätern geschworen hat, hat er euch ausgeführt mit mächtiger Hand und hat dich erlöst vom Hause des Dienstes, aus der Hand Pharaos, des Königs in Ägypten.
9 Be certain, then, that the Lord your God is God; whose faith and mercy are unchanging, who keeps his word through a thousand generations to those who have love for him and keep his laws;
9 Sache donc que c'est l'Éternel, ton Dieu, qui est Dieu. Ce Dieu fidèle garde son alliance et sa miséricorde jusqu'à la millième génération envers ceux qui l'aiment et qui observent ses commandements.
9 Bíodh a fhios agat dá bhrí sin gur Dia dáiríre an Tiarna do Dhia, Dia dílis a choimeádann a chonradh agus a bhuanghrá ar feadh míle glúin ina leith siúd a ghránn é agus a chomhlíonann a aitheanta,
9 Conoce, pues, que Jehová tu Dios es Dios, Dios fiel, que guarda el pacto y la misericordia á los que le aman y guardan sus mandamientos, hasta las mil generaciones;
9 So sollst du nun wissen, daß der HERR, dein Gott, ein Gott ist, ein treuer Gott, der den Bund und die Barmherzigkeit hält denen, die ihn lieben und seine Gebote halten, in tausend Glieder,
10 Rewarding his haters to their face with destruction; he will have no mercy on his hater, but will give him open punishment.
10 Mais il use directement de représailles envers ceux qui le haïssent, et il les fait périr; il ne diffère point envers celui qui le hait, il use directement de représailles.

10 Y que da el pago en su cara al que le aborrece, destruyéndolo: ni lo dilatará al que le odia, en su cara le dará el pago.
10 und vergilt denen, die ihn hassen, ins Angesicht, daß er sie umbringe, und säumt sie nicht, daß er denen vergelte ins Angesicht, die ihn hassen.
11 So keep the orders and the laws and the decisions which I give you today and do them.
11 Ainsi, observe les commandements, les lois et les ordonnances que je te prescris aujourd'hui, et mets-les en pratique.

11 Guarda por tanto los mandamientos, y estatutos, y derechos que yo te mando hoy que cumplas.
11 So halte nun die Gebote und Gesetze und Rechte, die ich dir heute gebiete, daß du darnach tust.
12 And it will be, that if you give attention to these decisions and keep and do them, then the Lord will keep his agreement with you and his mercy, as he said in his oath to your fathers.
12 Si vous écoutez ces ordonnances, si vous les observez et les mettez en pratique, l'Éternel, ton Dieu, gardera envers toi l'alliance et la miséricorde qu'il a jurées à tes pères.
12 “Éist leis na dlíthe seo agus bí dílis dóibh agus coimeád iad agus beidh an Tiarna, do Dhia, dílis don chonradh agus don bhuanghrá a mhionnaigh sé do d'aithreacha.
12 Y será que, por haber oído estos derechos, y guardado y puéstolos por obra, Jehová tu Dios guardará contigo el pacto y la misericordia que juró á tus padres;
12 Und wenn ihr diese Rede hört und haltet sie und darnach tut, so wird der HERR, dein Gott, auch halten den Bund und die Barmherzigkeit, die er deinen Väter geschworen hat,
13 And he will give you his love, blessing you and increasing you: he will send his blessing on the offspring of your body and the fruit of your land, your grain and your wine and your oil, the increase of your cattle and the young of your flock, in the land which by his oath to your fathers he undertook to give you.
13 Il t'aimera, il te bénira et te multipliera; il bénira le fruit de tes entrailles et le fruit de ton sol, ton blé, ton moût et ton huile, les portées de ton gros et de ton menu bétail, dans le pays qu'il a juré à tes pères de te donner.
13 Tabharfaidh sé grá duit, beannacht duit agus méadóidh sé do líon. Cuirfidh sé a bheannacht ar thoradh do bhroinne agus ar thoradh do thalún - d'arbhar, do fhíon, agus d'ola, an bhreis ar do tháin bó agus ar do thréad caorach, sa tír a mhionnaigh sé do do shinsir a thabharfadh sé duit.
13 Y te amará, y te bendecirá, y te multiplicará, y bendecirá el fruto de tu vientre, y el fruto de tu tierra, y tu grano, y tu mosto, y tu aceite, la cría de tus vacas, y los rebaños de tus ovejas, en la tierra que juró á tus padres que te daría.
13 und wird dich lieben und segnen und mehren und wird die Frucht deines Leibes segnen und die Frucht deines Landes, dein Getreide, Most und Öl, die Früchte deiner Kühe und die Früchte deiner Schafe in dem Lande, das er deinen Vätern geschworen hat dir zu geben.
14 You will have greater blessings than any other people: no male or female among you or among your cattle will be without offspring.
14 Tu seras béni plus que tous les peuples; il n'y aura chez toi ni homme ni femme stérile, ni bête stérile parmi tes troupeaux.
14 Beidh beannacht ort thar an uile phobal; ní bheidh fireann ná baineann aimrid i measc do mhuintire ná i measc do stoic.
14 Bendito serás más que todos los pueblos: no habrá en ti varón ni hembra estéril, ni en tus bestias.
14 Gesegnet wirst du sein über alle Völker. Es wird niemand unter dir unfruchtbar sein noch unter deinem Vieh.
15 And the Lord will take away from you all disease, and will not put on you any of the evil diseases of Egypt which you have seen, but will put them on your haters.
15 L'Éternel éloignera de toi toute maladie; il ne t'enverra aucune de ces mauvaises maladies d'Égypte qui te sont connues, mais il en frappera tous ceux qui te haïssent.
15 Coimeádfaidh an Tiarna gach galar i bhfad uait; ní chiapfaidh sé thú le haon cheann de phlánna urchóideacha na hÉigipte as eol duit, ach leagfaidh sé iad ar an dream ar fuath leo thú.
15 Y quitará Jehová de ti toda enfermedad; y todas las malas plagas de Egipto, que tú sabes, no las pondrá sobre ti, antes las pondrá sobre todos los que te aborrecieren.
15 Der HERR wird von dir tun alle Krankheit und wird keine böse Seuche der Ägypter dir auflegen, die du erfahren hast, und wir sie allen deinen Hassern auflegen.
16 And you are to send destruction on all the peoples which the Lord your God gives into your hands; have no pity on them, and do not give worship to their gods; for that will be a cause of sin to you.
16 Tu dévoreras tous les peuples que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, va te livrer, tu ne jetteras pas sur eux un regard de pitié, et tu ne serviras point leurs dieux, car ce serait un piège pour toi.
16 Scrios dá bhrí sin na ciníocha go léir a chuirfidh an Tiarna faoi do láimh; ná bíodh trua ná taise agat dóibh; ná déan seirbhís dá ndéithe mar gur ghaiste duit sin. Cumhacht an Tiarna
16 Y consumirás á todos los pueblos que te da Jehová tu Dios: no los perdonará tu ojo; ni servirás á sus dioses, que te será tropiezo.
16 Du wirst alle Völker verzehren, die der HERR, dein Gott, dir geben wird. Du sollst ihrer nicht schonen und ihren Göttern nicht dienen; denn das würde dir ein Strick sein.
17 If you say in your hearts, These nations are greater in number than we are: how are we to take their land from them?
17 Peut-être diras-tu dans ton coeur: Ces nations sont plus nombreuses que moi; comment pourrai-je les chasser?
17 “Má bhuaileann sé isteach i do chroí a rá: ‘Is líonmhaire na ciníocha seo ná mé; conas a chuirfinn as seilbh iad?’
17 Cuando dijeres en tu corazón: Estas gentes son muchas más que yo, ¿cómo las podré desarraigar?;
17 Wirst du aber in deinem Herzen sagen: Dieses Volk ist mehr, denn ich bin; wie kann ich sie vertreiben?
18 Have no fear of them, but keep well in mind what the Lord your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt;
18 Ne les crains point. Rappelle à ton souvenir ce que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, a fait à Pharaon et à toute l'Égypte,

18 No tengas temor de ellos: acuérdate bien de lo que hizo Jehová tu Dios con Faraón y con todo Egipto;
18 so fürchte dich nicht vor ihnen. Gedenke, was der HERR, dein Gott, Pharao und allen Ägyptern getan hat
19 The great punishments which your eyes saw, and the signs and the wonders and the strong hand and the stretched-out arm, by which the Lord your God took you out: so will the Lord your God do to all the peoples who are the cause of your fears.
19 les grandes épreuves que tes yeux ont vues, les miracles et les prodiges, la main forte et le bras étendu, quand l'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'a fait sortir: ainsi fera l'Éternel, ton Dieu, à tous les peuples que tu redoutes.
19 na cathuithe móra a chonaic tú le do shúile cinn, na comharthaí, na hiontais, an lámh láidir agus an ghéag ar tinneall lenar thug an Tiarna do Dhia amach thú; sin í an íde a thabharfaidh an Tiarna ar na ciníocha go léir a bhfuil eagla ort rompu.
19 De las grandes pruebas que vieron tus ojos, y de las señales y milagros, y de la mano fuerte y brazo extendido con que Jehová tu Dios te sacó: así hará Jehová tu Dios con todos los pueblos de cuya presencia tú temieres.
19 durch große Versuchungen, die du mit Augen gesehen hast, und durch Zeichen und Wunder, durch mächtige Hand und ausgereckten Arm, womit dich der HERR, dein Gott, ausführte. Also wird der HERR, dein Gott, allen Völkern tun, vor denen du dich fürchtest.
20 And the Lord will send a hornet among them, till all the rest who have kept themselves safe from you in secret places have been cut off.
20 L'Éternel, ton Dieu, enverra même les frelons contre eux, jusqu'à la destruction de ceux qui échapperont et qui se cacheront devant toi.
20 Mar bharr air sin seolfaidh an Tiarna cearnabháin ina measc chun an dream a fhanann i bhfolach uait a scrios.
20 Y también enviará Jehová tu Dios sobre ellos avispas, hasta que perezcan los que quedaren, y los que se hubieren escondido de delante de ti.
20 Dazu wird der HERR, dein Gott, Hornissen unter sie senden, bis umgebracht werde, was übrig ist und sich verbirgt vor dir.
21 Have no fear of them: for the Lord your God is with you, a great God greatly to be feared.
21 Ne sois point effrayé à cause d'eux; car l'Éternel, ton Dieu, est au milieu de toi, le Dieu grand et terrible.
21 Ná bíodh aon eagla ort rompu, óir tá an Tiarna do Dhia in bhur measc, agus is mór agus is uafar an Dia é.
21 No desmayes delante de ellos, que Jehová tu Dios está en medio de ti, Dios grande y terrible.
21 Laß dir nicht grauen vor ihnen; denn der HERR, dein Gott, ist unter dir, der große und schreckliche Gott.
22 The Lord your God will send out the nations before you little by little; they are not to be rooted out quickly, for fear that the beasts of the field may be increased overmuch against you.
22 L'Éternel, ton Dieu, chassera peu à peu ces nations loin de ta face; tu ne pourras pas les exterminer promptement, de peur que les bêtes des champs ne se multiplient contre toi.
22 Scriosfaidh an Tiarna do Dhia na ciníocha seo romhat de réir a chéile. Ní rithfidh leat iad a scrios d'aon iarracht le heagla go n‑éireodh na hainmhithe allta rólíonmhar duit.
22 Y Jehová tu Dios echará á estas gentes de delante de ti poco á poco: no las podrás acabar luego, porque las bestias del campo no se aumenten contra ti.
22 Er, der HERR, dein Gott, wird diese Leute ausrotten vor dir, einzeln nacheinander. Du kannst sie nicht eilend vertilgen, auf daß sich nicht wider dich mehren die Tiere auf dem Felde.
23 But the Lord your God will give them up into your hands, overpowering them till their destruction is complete.
23 L'Éternel, ton Dieu, te les livrera; et il les mettra complètement en déroute, jusqu'à ce qu'elles soient détruites.
23 Ach tabharfaidh an Tiarna do Dhia ar láimh duit iad, agus ciapfaidh sé iad nó go scriosfar iad.
23 Mas Jehová tu Dios las entregará delante de ti, y él las quebrantará con grande destrozo, hasta que sean destruídos.
23 Der HERR, dein Gott, wird sie vor dir dahingeben und wird sie mit großer Schlacht erschlagen, bis er sie vertilge,
24 He will give their kings into your hands, and you will put their names out of existence under heaven; there is not one of them who will not give way before you, till their destruction is complete.
24 Il livrera leurs rois entre tes mains, et tu feras disparaître leurs noms de dessous les cieux; aucun ne tiendra contre toi, jusqu'à ce que tu les aies détruits.
24 Tabharfaidh sé a ríthe ar láimh duit agus déanfaidh tú a n‑ainmneacha a scrios ó faoin spéir; fear ní fhéadfaidh seasamh i d'aghaidh nó go mbeidh siad go léir scriosta agat.
24 Y él entregará sus reyes en tu mano, y tú destruirás el nombre de ellos de debajo del cielo: nadie te hará frente hasta que los destruyas.
24 und wird dir ihre Könige in deine Hände geben, und du sollst ihren Namen umbringen unter dem Himmel. Es wird dir niemand widerstehen, bis du sie vertilgst.
25 The images of their gods are to be burned with fire: have no desire for the gold and silver on them, and do not take it for yourselves, for it will be a danger to you: it is a thing disgusting to the Lord your God:
25 Vous brûlerez au feu les images taillées de leurs dieux. Tu ne convoiteras point et tu ne prendras point pour toi l'argent et l'or qui sont sur elles, de peur que ces choses ne te deviennent un piège; car elles sont en abomination à l'Éternel, ton Dieu.
25 Loisc íomhánna snoite a ndéithe, gan dúil a chur san airgead ná san ór a chlúdaíonn iad, ná é bhreith leat duit féin le heagla go mba ghaiste duit é, óir is gráin leis an Tiarna do Dhia é.
25 Las esculturas de sus dioses quemarás en el fuego: no codiciarás plata ni oro de sobre ellas para tomarlo para ti, porque no tropieces en ello, pues es abominación á Jehová tu Dios;
25 Die Bilder ihrer Götter sollst du mit Feuer verbrennen, und sollst nicht begehren des Silbers oder Goldes, das daran ist, oder es zu dir nehmen, daß du dich nicht darin verstrickst; denn solches ist dem HERRN, deinem Gott, ein Greuel.
26 And you may not take a disgusting thing into your house, and so become cursed with its curse: but keep yourselves from it, turning from it with fear and hate, for it is a cursed thing.
26 Tu n'introduiras point une chose abominable dans ta maison, afin que tu ne sois pas, comme cet chose, dévoué par interdit; tu l'auras en horreur, tu l'auras en abomination,, car c'est une chose dévouée par interdit.
