1 These are the words which Moses said to all Israel on the far side of Jordan, in the waste land in the Arabah opposite Suph, between Paran on the one side, and Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth, and Dizahab on the other.
1 Voici les paroles que Moïse adressa à tout Israël, de l'autre côté du Jourdain, dans le désert, dans la plaine, vis-à-vis de Suph, entre Paran, Tophel, Laban, Hatséroth et Di Zahab.

1 Estas son las palabras que habló Moisés á todo Israel de esta parte del Jordán en el desierto, en el llano delante del mar Bermejo, entre Parán, y Thopel, y Labán, y Haseroth, y Dizahab.
1 Das sind die Worte die Mose redete zum ganzen Israel jenseit des Jordans in der Wüste, auf dem Gefilde gegen das Schilfmeer, zwischen Pharan und Tophel, Laban Hazeroth und Disahab.
2 It is eleven days' journey from Horeb by the way of Mount Seir to Kadesh-barnea.
2 Il y a onze journées depuis Horeb, par le chemin de la montagne de Séir, jusqu'à Kadès Barnéa.
2 Tá aistear aon lá dhéag ó Horaeb go Cáidéis Bairnéa ar bhealach Shliabh Shaeír.]

3 Now in the fortieth year, on the first day of the eleventh month, Moses gave to the children of Israel all the orders which the Lord had given him for them;
3 Dans la quarantième année, au onzième mois, le premier du mois, Moïse parla aux enfants d'Israël selon tout ce que l'Éternel lui avait ordonné de leur dire.
3 Ba ar an daicheadú lá, ar an gcéad lá den aonú mí dhéag, a labhair Maois le clann Iosrael de réir gach treoir a fuair sé dóibh ón Tiarna.
3 Y fué, que á los cuarenta años, en el mes undécimo, al primero del mes, Moisés habló á los hijos de Israel conforme á todas las cosas que Jehová le había mandado acerca de ellos;
3 Und es geschah im vierzigsten Jahr, am ersten Tage des elften Monats, da redete Mose mit den Kindern Israel alles, wie ihm der HERR an sie geboten hatte,
4 After he had overcome Sihon, king of the Amorites, ruling in Heshbon, and Og, king of Bashan, ruling in Ashtaroth, at Edrei:
4 C'était après qu'il eut battu Sihon, roi des Amoréens, qui habitait à Hesbon, et Og, roi de Basan, qui habitait à Aschtaroth et à Édréi.
4 Bhí an lámh uachtair faighte aige ar Shíochon rí na nAmórach a chónaigh i Heisbeon, agus ar Óg rí Bháiseán a chónaigh in Aisteárot agus in Eidreí.
4 Después que hirió á Sehón rey de los Amorrheos, que habitaba en Hesbón, y á Og rey de Basán, que habitaba en Astarot en Edrei:
4 nachdem er Sihon, den König der Amoriter, geschlagen hatte, der zu Hesbon wohnte, dazu Og, den König von Basan, der zu Astharoth und zu Edrei wohnte.
5 On the far side of Jordan in the land of Moab, Moses gave the people this law, saying,
5 De l'autre côté du Jourdain, dans le pays de Moab, Moïse commença à expliquer cette loi, et dit:
5 Ansiúd i dtír Mhóáb, lastall den Iordáin, chuir Maois chun an dlí seo a mhíniú. Dúirt sé: Horaeb agus Cáidéis
5 De esta parte del Jordán, en tierra de Moab, resolvió Moisés declarar esta ley, diciendo:
5 Jenseit des Jordans, im Lande der Moabiter, fing an Mose auszulegen dies Gesetz und sprach:
6 The Lord our God said to us in Horeb, You have been long enough in this mountain:
6 L'Éternel, notre Dieu, nous a parlé à Horeb, en disant: Vous avez assez demeuré dans cette montagne.
6 “Dúirt an Tiarna ár nDia linn ag Horaeb: ‘Tá moill bhur ndóthain déanta agaibh ar an sliabh seo.
6 Jehová nuestro Dios nos habló en Horeb, diciendo: Harto habéis estado en este monte;
6 Der HERR, unser Gott, redete mit uns am Berge Horeb und sprach: Ihr seid lang genug an diesem Berge gewesen;
7 Make a move now, and go on your way into the hill-country of the Amorites and the places near it, in the Arabah and the hill-country and in the lowlands and in the South and by the seaside, all the land of the Canaanites, and Lebanon, as far as the great river, the river Euphrates.
7 Tournez-vous, et partez; allez à la montagne des Amoréens et dans tout le voisinage, dans la plaine, sur la montagne, dans la vallée, dans le midi, sur la côte de la mer, au pays des Cananéens et au Liban, jusqu'au grand fleuve, au fleuve d'Euphrate.
7 Ar aghaidh libh ón áit seo, cuirigí chun bealaigh, agus imigí libh go harda na nAmórach, go dtí an mhuintir a chuireann fúthu san Arabá, sna hardáin agus sna hísleáin, sa Neigib agus san fheorainn; isteach libh i dtír Chanán agus sa Liobáin, chomh fada leis an Abhainn Mhór, an Eofrataes.
7 Volveos, partíos é id al monte del Amorrheo, y á todas sus comarcas, en el llano, en el monte, y en los valles, y al mediodía, y á la costa de la mar, á la tierra del Cananeo, y el Líbano, hasta el gran río, el río Eufrates.
7 wendet euch und ziehet hin, daß ihr zu dem Gebirge der Amoriter kommt und zu allen ihren Nachbarn im Gefilde, auf Bergen und in Gründen, gegen Mittag und gegen die Anfurt des Meers, ins Land Kanaan und zum Berge Libanon, bis an das große Wasser Euphrat.
8 See, all the land is before you: go in and take for yourselves the land which the Lord gave by an oath to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and to their seed after them.
8 Voyez, j'ai mis le pays devant vous; allez, et prenez possession du pays que l'Éternel a juré à vos pères, Abraham, Isaac et Jacob, de donner à eux et à leur postérité après eux.
8 Sin é an tír a fhágaim fúibh; téigí isteach agus gabhaigí seilbh ar an tír a mhionnaigh an Tiarna a thabharfadh sé do bhur n‑aithreacha, d'Abrahám, d'Iosác agus do Iacób agus dá sliocht dá n‑éis.’
8 Mirad, yo he dado la tierra en vuestra presencia; entrad y poseed la tierra que Jehová juró á vuestros padres Abraham, Isaac, y Jacob, que les daría á ellos y á su simiente después de ellos.
8 Siehe da, ich habe euch das Land, das vor euch liegt, gegeben; gehet hinein und nehmet es ein, das der HERR euren Vätern Abraham, Isaak und Jakob geschworen hat, daß er's ihnen und ihrem Samen nach ihnen geben wollte.
9 At that time I said to you, I am not able to undertake the care of you by myself;
9 Dans ce temps-là, je vous dis: Je ne puis pas, à moi seul, vous porter.
9 “Ansin is ea a dúirt mé: ‘Téann díom sibh a iompar liom féin.
9 Y yo os hablé entonces, diciendo: Yo no puedo llevaros solo:
9 Da sprach ich zu derselben Zeit zu euch: Ich kann nicht allein ertragen;
10 The Lord your God has given you increase, and now you are like the stars of heaven in number.
10 L'Éternel, votre Dieu, vous a multipliés, et vous êtes aujourd'hui aussi nombreux que les étoiles du ciel.
10 Rathaigh an Tiarna bhur nDia sibh i dtreo gur geall le réaltaí neimhe le háireamh sibh.
10 Jehová vuestro Dios os ha multiplicado, y he aquí sois hoy vosotros como las estrellas del cielo en multitud.
10 denn der HERR, euer Gott, hat euch gemehrt, daß ihr heutigestages seid wie die Menge der Sterne am Himmel.
11 May the Lord, the God of your fathers, make you a thousand times greater in number than you are, and give you his blessing as he has said!
11 Que l'Éternel, le Dieu de vos pères, vous augmente mille fois autant, et qu'il vous bénisse comme il vous l'a promis!
11 Agus tá an Tiarna Dia bhur sinsear chun sibh a rathú faoi mhíle sa bhreis agus a bheannacht a chur oraibh mar a gheall sé daoibh.
11 ¡Jehová Dios de vuestros padres añada sobre vosotros como sois mil veces, y os bendiga, como os ha prometido!
11 Der HERR, euer Väter Gott, mache euer noch viel tausend mehr und segne euch, wie er euch verheißen hat!
12 How is it possible for me by myself to be responsible for you, and undertake the weight of all your troubles and your arguments?
12 Comment porterais-je, à moi seul, votre charge, votre fardeau et vos contestations?
12 Conas a d'fhéadfainn, liom féin amháin, sibhse agus bhur n‑imris a iompar mar ualach?
12 ¿Cómo llevaré yo solo vuestras molestias, vuestras cargas, y vuestros pleitos?
12 Wie kann ich allein solche Mühe und Last und Hader von euch ertragen?
13 Take for yourselves men who are wise, far-seeing, and respected among you, from your tribes, and I will make them rulers over you.
13 Prenez dans vos tribus des hommes sages, intelligents et connus, et je les mettrai à votre tête.
13 Tugaigí chugam saoithe, lucht gaoise agus taithí, as gach treibh ar leith, agus déanfaidh mé ceannairí oraibh díobh.’
13 Dad me de entre vosotros, de vuestras tribus, varones sabios y entendidos y expertos, para que yo los ponga por vuestros jefes.
13 Schafft her weise, verständige und erfahrene Leute unter euren Stämmen, die will ich über euch zu Häuptern setzen.
14 And you made answer and said to me, It is good for us to do as you say.
14 Vous me répondîtes, en disant: Ce que tu proposes de faire est une bonne chose.
14 D'fhreagair sibh mé: ‘Is maith an beart atá á mholadh agat dúinn.’
14 Y me respondisteis, y dijisteis: Bueno es hacer lo que has dicho.
14 Da antwortetet ihr mir und spracht: Das ist ein gut Ding, davon du sagst, daß du tun willst.
15 So I took the heads of your tribes, wise men and respected, and made them rulers over you, captains of thousands and captains of hundreds and captains of fifties and captains of tens, and overseers of your tribes.
15 Je pris alors les chefs de vos tribus, des hommes sages et connus, et je les mis à votre tête comme chefs de mille, chefs de cent, chefs de cinquante, et chefs de dix, et comme ayant autorité dans vos tribus.
15 Roghnaigh mé ar an gcuma sin daoibh ceannairí treibheanna, lucht tuisceana agus taithí, agus chuir mé i gceannas oraibh iad - ceannairí mílte, ceannairí céadta, ceannairí caogad, agus ceannairí deichniúr, agus scríobhaithe do bhur dtreibheanna.
15 Y tomé los principales de vuestras tribus, varones sabios y expertos, y púselos por jefes sobre vosotros, jefes de millares, y jefes de cientos, y jefes de cincuenta, y cabos de diez, y gobernadores á vuestras tribus.
15 Da nahm ich die Häupter eurer Stämme, weise und erfahrene Männer, und setzte sie über euch zu Häuptern über tausend, über hundert, über fünfzig und über zehn, und zu Amtleuten unter euren Stämmen,
16 And at that time I gave orders to your judges, saying, Let all questions between your brothers come before you for hearing, and give decisions uprightly between a man and his brother or one from another nation who is with him.
16 Je donnai, dans le même temps, cet ordre à vos juges: Écoutez vos frères, et jugez selon la justice les différends de chacun avec son frère ou avec l'étranger.
16 Leag mé cúram ar bhur mbreithiúna an uair sin: ‘Éistigí leis na caingne idir bhur mbráithre agus tugaigí breith chóir idir duine agus a bhráthair nó an coimhthíoch a chónaíonn fairis.
16 Y entonces mandé á vuestros jueces, diciendo: Oid entre vuestros hermanos, y juzgad justamente entre el hombre y su hermano, y el que le es extranjero.
16 und gebot euren Richtern zur selben Zeit und sprach: Verhört eure Brüder und richtet recht zwischen jedermann und seinem Bruder und dem Fremdlinge.
17 In judging, do not let a man's position have any weight with you; give hearing equally to small and great; have no fear of any man, for it is God who is judge: and any cause in which you are not able to give a decision, you are to put before me and I will give it a hearing.
17 Vous n'aurez point égard à l'apparence des personnes dans vos jugements; vous écouterez le petit comme le grand; vous ne craindrez aucun homme, car c'est Dieu qui rend la justice. Et lorsque vous trouverez une cause trop difficile, vous la porterez devant moi, pour que je l'entende.
17 Ná déanaigí leathchuma i mbreithiúnas agus tugaigí cluas don bheag ar aon dul leis an mór; ná bíodh eagla oraibh roimh aon duine, mar is le Dia an bhreith. An chúis a bheidh ródheacair daoibh, tugaigí chugamsa í le héisteacht.”
17 No tengáis respeto de personas en el juicio: así al pequeño como al grande oiréis: no tendréis temor de ninguno, porque el juicio es de Dios: y la causa que os fuere difícil, la traeréis á mí, y yo la oiré.
17 Keine Person sollt ihr im Gericht ansehen, sondern sollt den Kleinen hören wie den Großen, und vor niemandes Person euch scheuen; denn das Gerichtamt ist Gottes. Wird aber euch eine Sache zu hart sein, die lasset an mich gelangen, daß ich sie höre.
18 And at that time I gave you all the orders which you were to do.
18 C'est ainsi que je vous prescrivis, dans ce temps-là, tout ce que vous aviez à faire.
18 Thug mé treoracha daoibh an uair úd do gach a mbeadh le déanamh agaibh.
18 Os mandé, pues, en aquel tiempo todo lo que habíais de hacer.
18 Also gebot ich euch zu der Zeit alles, was ihr tun sollt.
19 Then we went on from Horeb, through all that great and cruel waste which you saw, on our way to the hill-country of the Amorites, as the Lord gave us orders; and we came to Kadesh-barnea.
19 Nous partîmes d'Horeb, et nous parcourûmes en entier ce grand et affreux désert que vous avez vu; nous prîmes le chemin de la montagne des Amoréens, comme l'Éternel, notre Dieu, nous l'avait ordonné, et nous arrivâmes à Kadès Barnéa.
19 “D'fhágamar Horaeb agus shroicheamar an fásach mór uafar a chonaic sibh. Ar aghaidh linn go harda na nAmórach mar a d'aithin an Tiarna dúinn, agus bhaineamar amach Cáidéis Bairnéa.
19 Y partidos de Horeb, anduvimos todo aquel grande y terrible desierto que habéis visto, por el camino del monte del Amorrheo, como Jehová nuestro Dios nos lo mandó; y llegamos hasta Cades-barnea.
19 Da zogen wir aus von Horeb und wandelten durch die ganze Wüste, die groß und grausam ist, wie ihr gesehen habt, auf der Straße zum Gebirge der Amoriter, wie uns der HERR, unser Gott, geboten hatte, und kamen bis gen Kades-Barnea.
20 And I said to you, You have come to the hill-country of the Amorites, which the Lord our God is giving us.
20 Je vous dis: Vous êtes arrivés à la montagne des Amoréens, que l'Éternel, notre Dieu, nous donne.
20 Ansin is ea a dúirt mé libh: ‘Tá sibh tagtha chun arda na nAmórach a thug an Tiarna ár nDia dúinn.
20 Entonces os dije: Llegado habéis al monte del Amorrheo, el cual Jehová nuestro Dios nos da.
20 Da sprach ich zu euch: Ihr seid an das Gebirge der Amoriter gekommen, das uns der HERR, unser Gott, geben wird.
21 See now, the Lord your God has put the land into your hands: go up and take it, as the Lord, the God of your fathers, has said to you; have no fear and do not be troubled.
21 Vois, l'Éternel, ton Dieu, met le pays devant toi; monte, prends-en possession, comme te l'a dit l'Éternel, le Dieu de tes pères; ne crains point, et ne t'effraie point.
21 Sin é an tír seo tugtha ar láimh daoibh ag an Tiarna bhur nDia; isteach libh, gabhaigí seilbh air mar a d'aithin an Tiarna Dia bhur n‑aithreacha daoibh; ná bíodh eagla oraibh ná easpa misnigh.’
21 Mira, Jehová tu Dios ha dado delante de ti la tierra: sube y posée la, como Jehová el Dios de tus padres te ha dicho; no temas ni desmayes.
21 Siehe da das Land vor dir, das der HERR, dein Gott, dir gegeben hat; zieh hinauf und nimm's ein, wie der HERR, deiner Väter Gott, dir verheißen hat. Fürchte dich nicht und laß dir nicht grauen.
22 And you came near to me, every one of you, and said, Let us send men before us to go through the land with care and give us an account of the way we are to go and the towns to which we will come.
22 Vous vous approchâtes tous de moi, et vous dîtes: Envoyons des hommes devant nous, pour explorer le pays, et pour nous faire un rapport sur le chemin par lequel nous y monterons et sur les villes où nous arriverons.
22 Ansin tháinig sibh go léir chugam á rá: ‘Seolaimis romhainn lucht braite na tíre; tabharfaidh siad scéala chugainn cén bealach ar a bhfuilimid le gabháil suas agus cad iad na cathracha ina dtriallfaimid.”
22 Y llegasteis á mí todos vosotros, y dijisteis: Enviemos varones delante de nosotros, que nos reconozcan la tierra y nos traigan de vuelta razón del camino por donde hemos de subir, y de las ciudades adonde hemos de llegar.
22 Da kamt ihr alle zu mir und spracht: Laßt uns Männer vor uns hin senden, die uns das Land erkunden und uns wieder sagen, durch welchen Weg wir hineinziehen sollen und die Städte, da wir hineinkommen sollen.
23 And what you said seemed good to me, and I took twelve men from among you, one from every tribe;
23 Cet avis me parut bon; et je pris douze hommes parmi vous, un homme par tribu.
23 Comhairle mhaith dar liom í siúd agus roghnaíos dáréag daoibh, fear as gach treibh.
23 Y el dicho me pareció bien: y tomé doce varones de vosotros, un varón por tribu:
23 Das gefiel mir wohl, und ich nahm aus euch zwölf Männer, von jeglichem Stamm einen.
24 And they went up into the hill-country and came to the valley of Eshcol, and saw what was there.
24 Ils partirent, traversèrent la montagne, et arrivèrent jusqu'à la vallée d'Eschcol, qu'ils explorèrent.
24 Thugadar-san aghaidh ar na hardáin; thángadar chomh fada le Gleann Eisciol agus rinneadar é a thaiscéaladh.
24 Y se encaminaron, y subieron al monte, y llegaron hasta la arroyada de Escol, y reconocieron la tierra.
24 Da diese weggingen und hinaufzogen auf das Gebirge und an den Bach Eskol kamen, da besahen sie es
25 And taking in their hands some of the fruit of the land, they came down again to us, and gave us their account, saying, It is a good land which the Lord our God is giving us.
25 Ils prirent dans leurs mains des fruits du pays, et nous les présentèrent; ils nous firent un rapport, et dirent: C'est un bon pays, que l'Éternel, notre Dieu, nous donne.
25 Rinneadar cuid de thorthaí na tíre a chnuasach agus a thabhairt anuas chugainn; is é scéala a thugadar chugainn: ‘Tír thorthúil é an tír a thug an Tiarna ár nDia dúinn.’
25 Y tomaron en sus manos del fruto del país, y nos lo trajeron, y diéronnos cuenta, y dijeron: Es buena la tierra que Jehová nuestro Dios nos da.
25 und nahmen Früchte des Landes mit sich und brachten sie herab zu uns und sagten uns wieder und sprachen: Das Land ist gut, das der HERR, unser Gott, uns gegeben hat.
26 But going against the order of the Lord your God, you would not go up:
26 Mais vous ne voulûtes point y monter, et vous fûtes rebelles à l'ordre de l'Éternel, votre Dieu.
26 Níorbh áil libh gabháil isteach ann mar sin féin agus rinne sibh ceannairc in aghaidh ordú an Tiarna bhur nDia.
26 Empero no quisisteis subir, antes fuisteis rebeldes al dicho de Jehová vuestro Dios;
26 Aber ihr wolltet nicht hinaufziehen und wurdet ungehorsam dem Munde des HERRN, eures Gottes,
27 And you made an angry outcry in your tents, and said, In his hate for us the Lord has taken us out of the land of Egypt, to give us up into the hands of the Amorites for our destruction.
27 Vous murmurâtes dans vos tentes, et vous dîtes: C'est parce que l'Éternel nous hait, qu'il nous a fait sortir du pays d'Égypte, afin de nous livrer entre les mains des Amoréens et de nous détruire.
27 Rinne sibh monabhar in bhur mbothanna á rá: ‘Le barr fuatha dúinn a thug an Tiarna amach as tír na hÉigipte sinn, d'fhonn sinn a thabhairt ar láimh do na hAmóraigh, agus a scrios ar an gcuma sin!
27 Y murmurasteis en vuestras tiendas, diciendo: Porque Jehová nos aborrecía, nos ha sacado de tierra de Egipto, para entregarnos en mano del Amorrheo para destruirnos.
27 und murrtet in euren Hütten und spracht: Der HERR ist uns gram; darum hat er uns aus Ägyptenland geführt, daß er uns in der Amoriter Hände gebe, uns zu vertilgen.
28 Where are we going up? Our brothers have made our hearts feeble with fear by saying, The people are greater and taller than we are, and the towns are great and walled up to heaven; and more than this, we have seen the sons of the Anakim there.
28 Où monterions-nous? Nos frères nous ont fait perdre courage, en disant: C'est un peuple plus grand et de plus haute taille que nous; ce sont des villes grandes et fortifiées jusqu'au ciel; nous y avons même vu des enfants d'Anak.
28 Cá bhfuil ár dtriall? Chuir ár mbráithre féin lagmhisneach orainn: “Is mó agus is airde iad na daoine ná sinne,” ar siad, “tá a gcathracha ábhalmhór le ballaí a shroicheann chun neimhe; chonaiceamar clann Anácaím ann chomh maith.’ ”
28 ¿A dónde subimos? Nuestros hermanos han hecho desfallecer nuestro corazón, diciendo: Este pueblo es mayor y más alto que nosotros, las ciudades grandes y muradas hasta el cielo; y también vimos allí hijos de gigantes.
28 Wo sollen wir hinauf? Unsre Brüder haben unser Herz verzagt gemacht und gesagt, das Volk sei größer und höher denn wir; die Städte seien groß und bis an den Himmel vermauert; dazu haben wir Enakiter daselbst gesehen.
29 Then I said to you, Have no fear of them.
29 Je vous dis: Ne vous épouvantez pas, et n'ayez pas peur d'eux.
29 Agus dúirt mé libh: “Ná bíodh scéin ná eagla oraibh rompu.
29 Entonces os dije: No temáis, ni tengáis miedo de ellos.
29 Ich sprach aber zu euch: Entsetzet euch nicht und fürchtet euch nicht vor ihnen.
30 The Lord your God who goes before you will be fighting for you, and will do such wonders as he did for you in Egypt before your eyes;
30 L'Éternel, votre Dieu, qui marche devant vous, combattra lui-même pour vous, selon tout ce qu'il a fait pour vous sous vos yeux en Égypte,
30 Beidh an Tiarna bhur nDia ag gabháil romhaibh amach agus é féin ag troid ar bhur son, faoi mar a rinne ar bhur son san Éigipt os comhair bhur súl.
30 Jehová vuestro Dios, el cual va delante de vosotros, él peleará por vosotros, conforme á todas las cosas que hizo por vosotros en Egipto delante de vuestros ojos;
30 Der HERR, euer Gott, zieht vor euch hin und wird für euch streiten, wie er mit euch getan hat in Ägypten vor euren Augen
31 And in the waste land, where you have seen how the Lord was supporting you, as a man does his son, in all your journeying till you came to this place.
31 puis au désert, où tu as vu que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'a porté comme un homme porte son fils, pendant toute la route que vous avez faite jusqu'à votre arrivée en ce lieu.
31 Fuair tú radharc air leis san fhásach; conas mar a d'iompair an Tiarna Dia thú, faoi mar a dhéanfadh athair a mhac, an bealach go léir a ghabh sibh go dtí gur bhain sibh amach an áit seo.”
31 Y en el desierto has visto que Jehová tu Dios te ha traído, como trae el hombre á su hijo, por todo el camino que habéis andado, hasta que habéis venido á este lugar.
31 und in der Wüste, da du gesehen hast, wie dich der HERR, dein Gott, getragen hat, wie ein Mann seinen Sohn trägt, durch allen Weg, daher ihr gewandelt seid, bis ihr an diesen Ort kamt.
32 But for all this, you had no faith in the Lord your God,
32 Malgré cela, vous n'eûtes point confiance en l'Éternel, votre Dieu,
32 Ach dá ainneoin sin uile níl creideamh agaibh sa Tiarna, bhur nDia,
32 Y aun con esto no creisteis en Jehová vuestro Dios,
32 Aber das gilt nichts bei euch, daß ihr an den HERRN, euren Gott, hättet geglaubt,
33 Who goes before you on your way, looking for a place where you may put up your tents, in fire by night, lighting up the way you are to go, and in a cloud by day.
33 qui allait devant vous sur la route pour vous chercher un lieu de campement, la nuit dans un feu afin de vous montrer le chemin où vous deviez marcher, et le jour dans une nuée.
33 an té sin a ghabh romhaibh ar an tslí le háit champála a fháil daoibh, agus é sa tine san oíche ag soilsiú an chosáin daoibh, agus sa néal sa lá.
33 El cual iba delante de vosotros por el camino, para reconoceros el lugar donde habíais de asentar el campo, con fuego de noche para mostraros el camino por donde aduvieseis, y con nube de día.
33 der vor euch her ging, euch die Stätte zu weisen, wo ihr euch lagern solltet, des Nachts im Feuer, daß er euch den Weg zeigte, darin ihr gehen solltet, und des Tages in der Wolke.
34 And the Lord, hearing your words, was angry, and said with an oath,

35 Aucun des hommes de cette génération méchante ne verra le bon pays que j'ai juré de donner à vos pères,

35 No verá hombre alguno de estos de esta mala generación, la buena tierra que juré había de dar á vuestros padres,
35 Es soll keiner dieses bösen Geschlechts das gute Land sehen, das ich ihren Vätern zu geben geschworen habe;
36 But only Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, he will see it; and to him and to his children I will give the land over which his feet have gone, because he has been true to the Lord with all his heart.
36 excepté Caleb, fils de Jephunné; il le verra, lui, et je donnerai à lui et à ses enfants le pays sur lequel il a marché, parce qu'il a pleinement suivi la voie de l'Éternel.

36 Excepto Caleb hijo de Jephone: él la verá, y á él le daré la tierra que pisó, y á sus hijos; porque cumplió en pos de Jehová.
36 außer Kaleb, dem Sohn Jephunnes, der soll es sehen, und ihm will ich geben das Land, darauf er getreten ist, und seinen Kindern, darum daß er treulich dem HERRN gefolgt ist.
37 And, in addition, the Lord was angry with me because of you, saying, You yourself will not go into it:
37 L'Éternel s'irrita aussi contre moi, à cause de vous, et il dit: Toi non plus, tu n'y entreras point.

37 Y también contra mí se airó Jehová por vosotros, diciendo: Tampoco tú entrarás allá:
37 Auch ward der HERR über mich zornig um euretwillen und sprach: Du sollst auch nicht hineinkommen.
38 Joshua, the son of Nun, your servant, he will go into the land: say to him that he is to be strong, for he will be Israel's guide into their heritage.
38 Josué, fils de Nun, ton serviteur, y entrera; fortifie-le, car c'est lui qui mettra Israël en possession de ce pays.

38 Josué hijo de Nun, que está delante de ti, él entrará allá: anímale; porque él la hará heredar á Israel.
38 Aber Josua, der Sohn Nuns, der dein Diener ist, der soll hineinkommen. Denselben stärke; denn er soll Israel das Erbe austeilen.
39 And your little ones, who, you said, would come into strange hands, your children, who now have no knowledge of good or evil, they will go into that land, and to them I will give it and it will be theirs.
39 Et vos petits enfants, dont vous avez dit: Ils deviendront une proie! et vos fils, qui ne connaissent aujourd'hui ni le bien ni le mal, ce sont eux qui y entreront, c'est à eux que je le donnerai, et ce sont eux qui le posséderont.
39 Bhur miondaoine leis, iad siúd a dúirt sibh a ghabhfaí mar chreach, agus nach bhfuil fios na maitheasa agus an oilc fós acu, rachaidh siadsan ansiúd isteach; tabharfaidh mé dóibh é agus beidh sé ina seilbh acu.
39 Y vuestros chiquitos, de los cuales dijisteis serán por presa, y vuestros hijos que no saben hoy bueno ni malo, ellos entrarán allá, y á ellos la daré, y ellos la heredarán.
39 Und eure Kinder, davon ihr sagtet, sie würden ein Raub werden, und eure Söhne, die heutigestages weder Gutes noch Böses verstehen, die sollen hineinkommen; denselben will ich's geben, und sie sollen's einnehmen.
40 But as for you, go back, journeying into the waste land by the way of the Red Sea.
40 Mais vous, tournez-vous, et partez pour le désert, dans la direction de la mer Rouge.

40 Y vosotros volveos, y partíos al desierto camino del mar Bermejo.
40 Ihr aber wendet euch und ziehet nach der Wüste den Weg zum Schilfmeer.
41 Then you said to me, We have done evil against the Lord, we will go up to the attack, as the Lord our God has given us orders. And arming yourselves every one, you made ready to go up without care into the hill-country.
41 Vous répondîtes, en me disant: Nous avons péché contre l'Éternel; nous monterons et nous combattrons, comme l'Éternel, notre Dieu, nous l'a ordonné. Et vous ceignîtes chacun vos armes, et vous fîtes le projet téméraire de monter à la montagne.
41 “Ansin d'fhreagair sibh mé: ‘Pheacaíomar in aghaidh an Tiarna ár nDia. Rachaimid suas agus troidfimid mar a d'ordaigh an Tiarna ár nDia dúinn.’ Ghabh gach duine agaibh a arm catha chuige agus in airde faoi na harda libh le flosc.
41 Entonces respondisteis y me dijisteis: Pecado hemos contra Jehová; nosotros subiremos y pelearemos, conforme á todo lo que Jehová nuestro Dios nos ha mandado. Y os armasteis cada uno de sus armas de guerra, y os apercibisteis para subir al monte.
41 Da antwortetet ihr und spracht zu mir: Wir haben an dem HERRN gesündigt; wir wollen hinauf und streiten, wie uns der HERR, unser Gott, geboten hat. Da ihr euch nun rüstetet, ein jeglicher mit seinen Waffen, und wart an dem, daß ihr hinaufzöget aufs Gebirge,
42 And the Lord said to me, Say to them, Do not go up to the attack; for I am not among you, and you will be overcome by those who are against you.
42 L'Éternel me dit: Dis-leur: Ne montez pas et ne combattez pas, car je ne suis pas au milieu de vous; ne vous faites pas battre par vos ennemis.
42 Ach dúirt an Tiarna liom: ‘Abair leo: Ná téigí suas ag troid - nílimse faraibh - le heagla go mbeadh an bua ag bhur naimhde oraibh.’
42 Y Jehová me dijo: Diles: No subáis, ni peleéis, pues no estoy entre vosotros; porque no seáis heridos delante de vuestros enemigos.
42 sprach der HERR zu mir: Sage ihnen, daß sie nicht hinaufziehen, auch nicht streiten, denn ich bin nicht unter euch, auf daß ihr nicht geschlagen werdet von euren Feinden.
43 This I said to you, but you gave no attention and went against the orders of the Lord, and in your pride went up into the hill-country.
43 Je vous parlai, mais vous n'écoutâtes point; vous fûtes rebelles à l'ordre de l'Éternel, et vous montâtes audacieusement à la montagne.
43 Dúirt mé sin libh, ach ní éisteodh sibh liom, ach ceannairc á dhéanamh in aghaidh ordú an Tiarna, agus dul suas faoi na harda le barr dánaíochta.
43 Y os hablé, y no disteis oído; antes fuisteis rebeldes al dicho de Jehová, y persistiendo con altivez, subisteis al monte.
43 Da ich euch das sagte, gehorchtet ihr nicht und wurdet ungehorsam dem Munde des HERRN und wart vermessen und zoget hinauf aufs Gebirge.
44 And the Amorites who were in the hill-country came out against you and put you to flight, rushing after you like bees, and overcame you in Seir, driving you even as far as Hormah.
44 Alors les Amoréens, qui habitent cette montagne, sortirent à votre rencontre, et vous poursuivirent comme font les abeilles; ils vous battirent en Séir, jusqu'à Horma.
44 Na hAmóraigh, an mhuintir a chónaíonn sa dúiche shléibhteach sin, amach leo in bhur n‑aghaidh mar shaithe beach, agus chuadar sa tóir oraibh agus phleancadar sibh i Saeír agus ar aghaidh go Hormá.
44 Y salió el Amorrheo, que habitaba en aquel monte, á vuestro encuentro, y os persiguieron, como hacen las avispas, y os derrotaron en Seir, persiguiéndoos hasta Horma.
44 Da zogen die Amoriter aus, die auf dem Gebirge wohnten, euch entgegen, und jagten euch, wie die Bienen tun, und schlugen euch zu Seir bis gen Horma.
45 And you came back, weeping before the Lord; but the Lord gave no attention to your cries and did not give ear to you.
45 A votre retour, vous pleurâtes devant l'Éternel; mais l'Éternel n'écouta point votre voix, et ne vous prêta point l'oreille.
45 Agus ar fhilleadh daoibh, shil sibh deora i láthair an Tiarna; ach níor éist an Tiarna le bhur nglór ná níor thug sé cluas daoibh.
45 Y volvisteis, y llorasteis delante de Jehová; pero Jehová no escuchó vuestra voz, ni os prestó oído.
45 Da ihr nun wiederkamt und weintet vor dem HERRN, wollte der HERR eure Stimme nicht hören und neigte seine Ohren nicht zu euch.
46 So you were kept waiting in Kadesh for a long time.
46 Vous restâtes à Kadès, où le temps que vous y avez passé fut de longue durée.
