1 And it came to the ears of the Canaanite, the king of Arad, living in the South, that Israel was coming by the way of Atharim, and he came out against them and took some of them prisoners.
1 Le roi d'Arad, Cananéen, qui habitait le midi, apprit qu'Israël venait par le chemin d'Atharim. Il combattit Israël, et emmena des prisonniers.

1 Y Oyendo el Cananeo, el rey de Arad, el cual habitaba al mediodía, que venía Israel por el camino de los centinelas, peleó con Israel, y tomó de él presa.
1 Und da die Kanaaniter, der König von Arad, der gegen Mittag wohnte, hörte, daß Israel hereinkommt durch den Weg der Kundschafter, stritt er wider Israel und führte etliche gefangen.
2 Then Israel made an oath to the Lord, and said, If you will give up this people into my hands, then I will send complete destruction on all their towns.
2 Alors Israël fit un voeu à l'Éternel, et dit: Si tu livres ce peuple entre mes mains, je dévouerai ses villes par interdit.
2 Ansin mhóidigh Iosrael an mhóid seo don Tiarna: “Má thugann tú an mhuintir seo ar láimh dom, cuirfidh mé a gcathracha go léir faoi bhang.”
2 Entonces Israel hizo voto á Jehová, y dijo: Si en efecto entregares á este pueblo en mi mano, yo destruiré sus ciudades.
2 Da gelobte Israel dem HERRN ein Gelübde und sprach: Wenn du dies Volk unter Meine Hand gibst, so will ich ihre Städte verbannen.
3 And the Lord, in answer to the voice of Israel, gave the Canaanites up to them; and they put them and their towns completely to destruction: and that place was named Hormah.
3 L'Éternel entendit la voix d'Israël, et livra les Cananéens. On les dévoua par interdit, eux et leurs villes; et l'on nomma ce lieu Horma.
3 D'éist an Tiarna le guth Iosrael agus thug na Canánaigh ar láimh dóibh; chuireadar faoi bhang iad, iad féin agus a gcathracha. Tugadh Hormá [Bang] ar an áit seo. An Nathair Chré-Umha
3 Y Jehová escuchó la voz de Israel, y entregó al Cananeo, y destruyólos á ellos y á sus ciudades; y llamó el nombre de aquel lugar Horma.
3 Und der HERR erhörte die Stimme Israels und gab die Kanaaniter, und sie verbannten sie samt ihren Städten und hießen die Stätte Horma.
4 Then they went on from Mount Hor by the way to the Red Sea, going round the land of Edom: and the spirit of the people was overcome with weariness on the way.
4 Ils partirent de la montagne de Hor par le chemin de la mer Rouge, pour contourner le pays d'Édom. Le peuple s'impatienta en route,
4 D'fhágadar Sliabh Hor ar feadh bhealach Mhuir Shúf, ag gabháil timpeall chríocha Eadóm. Bhris ar an bhfoighne ag an bpobal ar an tslí.
4 Y partieron del monte de Hor, camino del mar Bermejo, para rodear la tierra de Edom; y abatióse el ánimo del pueblo por el camino.
4 Da zogen sie von dem Berge Hor auf dem Wege gegen das Schilfmeer, daß sie um der Edomiter Land hinzögen. Und das Volk ward verdrossen auf dem Wege
5 And crying out against God and against Moses, they said, Why have you taken us out of Egypt to come to our death in the waste land? For there is no bread and no water, and this poor bread is disgusting to us.
5 et parla contre Dieu et contre Moïse: Pourquoi nous avez-vous fait monter hors d'Égypte, pour que nous mourions dans le désert? car il n'y a point de pain, et il n'y a point d'eau, et notre âme est dégoûtée de cette misérable nourriture.
5 Labhraíodar in aghaidh Dé agus in aghaidh Mhaois: “Cad ab áil libh dár dtabhairt amach as an Éigipt chun bás a fháil san fhásach? Óir tá an áit seo gan arán, gan uisce, agus is gráin linn an bia gan mhaith seo.”
5 Y habló el pueblo contra Dios y Moisés: ¿Por qué nos hiciste subir de Egipto para que muramos en este desierto? que ni hay pan, ni agua, y nuestra alma tiene fastidio de este pan tan liviano.
5 und redete wider Gott und wider Mose: Warum hast du uns aus Ägypten geführt, daß wir sterben in der Wüste? Denn es ist kein Brot noch Wasser hier, und unsre Seele ekelt vor dieser mageren Speise.
6 Then the Lord sent poison-snakes among the people; and their bites were a cause of death to numbers of the people of Israel.
6 Alors l'Éternel envoya contre le peuple des serpents brûlants; ils mordirent le peuple, et il mourut beaucoup de gens en Israël.
6 Ansin sheol Dia nathracha tintí i measc an phobail, agus chuireadar a gcealg sa phobal, agus fuair a lán in Iosrael bás.
6 Y Jehová envió entre el pueblo serpientes ardientes, que mordían al pueblo: y murió mucho pueblo de Israel.
6 Da sandte der HERR feurige Schlangen unter das Volk; die bissen das Volk, daß viel Volks in Israel starb.
7 Then the people came to Moses and said, We have done wrong in crying out against the Lord and against you: make prayer to the Lord to take away the snakes from us. So Moses made prayer for the people.
7 Le peuple vint à Moïse, et dit: Nous avons péché, car nous avons parlé contre l'Éternel et contre toi. Prie l'Éternel, afin qu'il éloigne de nous ces serpents. Moïse pria pour le peuple.
7 Tháinig an pobal go Maois agus dúradar: “Pheacaíomar lenár gcaint in aghaidh an Tiarna agus i d'aghaidhse. Guigh chun an Tiarna á iarraidh air na nathracha a thógáil dínn.” Ghuigh Maois ar son an phobail.
7 Entonces el pueblo vino á Moisés, y dijeron: Pecado hemos por haber hablado contra Jehová, y contra ti: ruega á Jehová que quite de nosotros estas serpientes. Y Moisés oró por el pueblo.
7 Da kamen sie zu Mose und sprachen: Wir haben gesündigt, daß wir wider dich geredet haben; bitte den HERRN, daß er die Schlangen von uns nehme. Mose bat für das Volk.
8 And the Lord said to Moses, Make an image of a snake and put it on a rod, and anyone who has been wounded by the snakes, looking on it will be made well.
8 L'Éternel dit à Moïse: Fais-toi un serpent brûlant, et place-le sur une perche; quiconque aura été mordu, et le regardera, conservera la vie.
8 Dúirt an Tiarna le Maois: “Déan nathair thintí agus cuir ar chuaille í, agus gach duine ina gcuirfear cealg, nuair a fhéachfaidh sé uirthi, mairfidh sé.”
8 Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Hazte una serpiente ardiente, y ponla sobre la bandera: y será que cualquiera que fuere mordido y mirare á ella, vivirá.
8 Da sprach der HERR zu Mose: Mache dir eine eherne Schlange und richte sie zum Zeichen auf; wer gebissen ist und sieht sie an, der soll leben.
9 So Moses made a snake of brass and put it on a rod; and anyone who had a snakebite, after looking on the snake of brass, was made well.
9 Moïse fit un serpent d'airain, et le plaça sur une perche; et quiconque avait été mordu par un serpent, et regardait le serpent d'airain, conservait la vie.
9 Dhealbhaigh Maois nathair chré-umha dá bhrí sin agus chuir ar chuaille í, agus nuair a chuireadh nathair cealg i nduine, d'fhéachadh sé ar an nathair chré-umha agus mhaireadh. San Alliordáin
9 Y Moisés hizo una serpiente de metal, y púsola sobre la bandera, y fué, que cuando alguna serpiente mordía á alguno, miraba á la serpiente de metal, y vivía.
9 Da machte Mose eine eherne Schlange und richtete sie auf zum Zeichen; und wenn jemanden eine Schlange biß, so sah er die eherne Schlange an und blieb leben.
10 Then the children of Israel went on and put up their tents in Oboth.
10 Les enfants d'Israël partirent, et ils campèrent à Oboth.
10 Chuir clann Iosrael chun bealaigh agus shuíodar a gcampa in Obot.
10 Y partieron los hijos de Israel, y asentaron campo en Oboth.
10 Und die Kinder Israel zogen aus und lagerten sich in Oboth.
11 And journeying on again from Oboth, they put up their tents in Iye-abarim, in the waste land before Moab looking east.
11 Ils partirent d'Oboth et ils campèrent à Ijjé Abarim, dans le désert qui est vis-à-vis de Moab, vers le soleil levant.
11 Ansin chuadar ó Obot agus shuíodar a gcampa in Ívé Abáraím san fhásach taobh le Móáb i dtreo éirí gréine.
11 Y partidos de Oboth, asentaron en Ije-abarim, en el desierto que está delante de Moab, al nacimiento del sol.
11 Und von Oboth zogen sie aus und lagerten sich in Ije-Abarim, in der Wüste Moab, gegenüber gegen der Sonne Aufgang.
12 And moving on from there, they put up their tents in the valley of Zered.
12 De là ils partirent, et ils campèrent dans la vallée de Zéred.
12 Chuireadar chun bealaigh uaidh sin agus shuíodar a gcampa i nGleann Zeirid.
12 Partidos de allí, asentaron en la arroyada de Zared.
12 Und von da zogen sie und lagerten sich am Bach Sered.
13 From there they went on and put up their tents on the other side of the Arnon, which is on the waste land at the edge of the land of the Amorites; for the Arnon is the line of division between Moab and the Amorites:
13 De là ils partirent, et ils campèrent de l'autre côté de l'Arnon, qui coule dans le désert en sortant du territoire des Amoréens; car l'Arnon est la frontière de Moab, entre Moab et les Amoréens.
13 Chuireadar chun bealaigh uaidh sin agus shuíodar a gcampa lastall den Arnón. Tosaíonn an gleann fásaigh seo i gcríocha na nAmórach. Óir sí an Arnón teorainn Mhóáb, idir Móáb agus na hAmóraigh.
13 De allí movieron, y asentaron de la otra parte de Arnón, que está en el desierto, y que sale del término del Amorrheo; porque Arnón es término de Moab, entre Moab y el Amorrheo.
13 Von da zogen sie und lagerten sich diesseits am Arnon, der in der Wüste ist und herauskommt von der Grenze der Amoriter; denn der Arnon ist die Grenze Moabs zwischen Moab und den Amoritern.
14 As it says in the book of the Wars of the Lord, Vaheb in Suphah, and the valley of the Amon;
14 C'est pourquoi il est dit dans le livre des Guerres de l'Éternel: ...Vaheb en Supha, et les torrents de l'Arnon,
14 Deirtear uime sin i Leabhar Chogaí an Tiarna: ...Váhaeb i Súfá, agus gleannta Arnón,
14 Por tanto se dice en el libro de las batallas de Jehová: Lo que hizo en el mar Bermejo, Y en los arroyos de Arnón:
14 Daher heißt es in dem Buch von den Kriegen des HERRN: "Das Vaheb in Supha und die Bäche Arnon
15 The slope of the valleys going down to the tents of Ar and touching the edge of Moab.
15 et le cours des torrents, qui s'étend du côté d'Ar et touche à la frontière de Moab.
15 agus sleasa na ngleannta a ritheann síos go láthair Ár, agus a chromann thar teorainn Mhóáb... agus ar aghaidh leo as sin go Béar -
15 Y á la corriente de los arroyos Que va á parar en Ar, Y descansa en el término de Moab.
15 und die Quelle der Bäche, welche reicht hinan bis zur Stadt Ar und lenkt sich und ist die Grenze Moabs."
16 From there they went on to Beer, the water-spring of which the Lord said to Moses, Make the people come together and I will give them water.
16 De là ils allèrent à Beer. C'est ce Beer, où l'Éternel dit à Moïse: Rassemble le peuple, et je leur donnerai de l'eau.
16 Is faoin tobar ansiúd a dúirt an Tiarna le Maois: “Cruinnigh an pobal le chéile agus tabharfaidh mé uisce dóibh.”
16 Y de allí vinieron á Beer: este es el pozo del cual Jehová dijo á Moisés: Junta al pueblo, y les daré agua.
16 Und von da zogen sie zum Brunnen. Das ist der Brunnen, davon der HERR zu Mose sagte: Sammle das Volk, ich will ihnen Wasser geben.
17 Then Israel gave voice to this song: Come up, O water-spring, let us make a song to it:
17 Alors Israël chanta ce cantique: Monte, puits! Chantez en son honneur!
17 Ansin is ea a chan Iosrael an laoi: “Sceith, a thobar! Canaigí dó!
17 Entonces cantó Israel esta canción: Sube, oh pozo; á él cantad:
17 Da sang Israel das Lied: "Brunnen, steige auf! Singet von ihm!
18 The fountain made by the chiefs, made deep by the great ones of the people, with the law-givers' rod, and with their sticks. Then from the waste land they went on to Mattanah:
18 Puits, que des princes ont creusé, Que les grands du peuple ont creusé, Avec le sceptre, avec leurs bâtons!
18 Na prionsaí a thochail, agus ceannairí an phobail a bhain, lena slat agus lena mbataí:” ...agus ón bhfásach go Matáná.
18 Pozo, el cual cavaron los señores; Caváronlo los príncipes del pueblo, Y el legislador, con sus bordones.
18 Das ist der Brunnen, den die Fürsten gegraben haben; die Edlen im Volk haben ihn gegraben mit dem Zepter, mit ihren Stäben." Und von dieser Wüste zogen sie gen Matthana;
19 And from Mattanah to Nahaliel: and from Nahaliel to Bamoth:
19 Du désert ils allèrent à Matthana; de Matthana, à Nahaliel; de Nahaliel, à Bamoth;
19 Agus ó Mhatáná go Nachailíéil, agus ó Nachailíéil go Bámót,
19 Y de Mathana á Nahaliel: y de Nahaliel á Bamoth:
19 und von Matthana gen Nahaliel; und von Nahaliel gen Bamoth;
20 And from Bamoth to the valley in the open country of Moab, and to the top of Pisgah looking over Jeshimon.
20 de Bamoth, à la vallée qui est dans le territoire de Moab, au sommet du Pisga, en regard du désert.
20 agus ó Bhámót go dtí an gleann a shíneann go críocha Mhóáb i dtreo mullach Phisceá atá ar imeall an fhásaigh.
20 Y de Bamoth al valle que está en los campos de Moab, y á la cumbre de Pisga, que mira á Jesimón.
20 und von Bamoth in das Tal, das im Felde Moabs liegt, zu dem hohen Berge Pisgas, der gegen die Wüste sieht.
21 And Israel sent men to Sihon, king of the Amorites, saying,
21 Israël envoya des messagers à Sihon, roi des Amoréens, pour lui dire:
21 Ansin chuir Iosrael teachtairí go Síochon rí na nAmórach, á rá:
21 Y envió Israel embajadores á Sehón, rey de los Amorrheos, diciendo:
21 Und Israel sandte Boten zu Sihon, dem König der Amoriter, und ließ ihm sagen:
22 Let me go through your land: we will not go into field or vine-garden, or take the water of the springs; we will go by the highway till we have gone past the limits of your land.
22 Laisse-moi passer par ton pays; nous n'entrerons ni dans les champs, ni dans les vignes, et nous ne boirons pas l'eau des puits; nous suivrons la route royale, jusqu'à ce que nous ayons franchi ton territoire.
22 “Lig dom gabháil trí do chríocha; ní rachaimid ar seachrán trí ghort ná trí fhíonghort, ná ní ólfaimid uisce as tobar. Tabharfaimid bóthar an rí orainn féin go dtí go mbeimid imithe thar do theorainneacha.”
22 Pasaré por tu tierra: no nos apartaremos por los labrados, ni por las viñas; no beberemos las aguas de los pozos: por el camino real iremos, hasta que pasemos tu término.
22 Laß mich durch dein Land ziehen. Wir wollen nicht weichen in die Äcker noch in die Weingärten, wollen auch Brunnenwasser nicht trinken; die Landstraße wollen wir ziehen, bis wir durch deine Grenze kommen.
23 And Sihon would not let Israel go through his land; but got all his people together and went out against Israel into the waste land, as far as Jahaz, to make war on Israel.
23 Sihon n'accorda point à Israël le passage sur son territoire; il rassembla tout son peuple, et sortit à la rencontre d'Israël, dans le désert; il vint à Jahats, et combattit Israël.
23 Ach ní ligfeadh Síochon d'Iosrael gabháil trína chríocha. Thionóil sé a chuid fear ar fad agus amach leis san fhásach in aghaidh Iosrael agus tháinig go Iáhaz, agus chuir cath ar Iosrael.
23 Mas Sehón no dejó pasar á Israel por su término: antes juntó Sehón todo su pueblo, y salió contra Israel en el desierto: y vino á Jahaz, y peleó contra Israel.
23 Aber Sihon gestattete den Kindern Israel nicht den Zug durch sein Gebiet, sondern sammelte all sein Volk und zog aus, Israel entgegen in die Wüste; und als er gen Jahza kam, stritt er wider Israel.
24 But Israel overcame him, and took all his land from the Arnon to the Jabbok, as far as the country of the children of Ammon, for the country of the children of Ammon was strongly armed.
24 Israël le frappa du tranchant de l'épée et s'empara de son pays depuis l'Arnon jusqu'au Jabbok, jusqu'à la frontière des enfants d'Ammon; car la frontière des enfants d'Ammon était fortifiée.
24 Chuir Iosrael chun báis é de ghion claímh agus ghabh seilbh ar a chuid tailte ón Arnón go dtí an Iaboc, chomh fada le clann Amón, óir ba gharbh í teorainn chlann Amón.
24 E hirióle Israel á filo de espada, y tomó su tierra desde Arnón hasta Jaboc, hasta los hijos de Ammón: porque el término de los hijos de Ammón era fuerte.
24 Israel aber schlug ihn mit der Schärfe des Schwerts und nahm sein Land ein vom Arnon an bis an den Jabbok und bis an die Kinder Ammon; denn die Grenzen der Kinder Ammon waren fest.
25 And Israel took all their towns, living in Heshbon and all the towns and small places of the Amorites.
25 Israël prit toutes les villes, et s'établit dans toutes les villes des Amoréens, à Hesbon et dans toutes les villes de son ressort.
25 Ghabh Iosrael na cathracha seo go léir agus chuir Iosrael fúthu i gcathracha uile na nAmórach, i Heisbeon agus in gach baile dá chuid.
25 Y tomó Israel todas estas ciudades: y habitó Israel en todas las ciudades del Amorrheo, en Hesbón y en todas sus aldeas.
25 Also nahm Israel alle diese Städte und wohnte in allen Städten der Amoriter, zu Hesbon und in allen seinen Ortschaften.
26 For Heshbon was the town of Sihon, king of the Amorites, who had made war against an earlier king of Moab and taken from him all his land as far as the Arnon.
26 Car Hesbon était la ville de Sihon, roi des Amoréens; il avait fait la guerre au précédent roi de Moab, et lui avait enlevé tout son pays jusqu'à l'Arnon.
26 Ba é Heisbeon príomhchathair Shíochon rí na nAmórach, an té a chuir cogadh ar chéad rí Mhóáb, agus a bhain a chríocha uile de chomh fada ó bhaile leis an Arnón.
26 Porque Hesbón era la ciudad de Sehón, rey de los Amorrheos; el cual había tenido guerra antes con el rey de Moab, y tomado de su poder toda su tierra hasta Arnón.
26 Denn Hesbon war die Stadt Sihons, des Königs der Amoriter, und er hatte zuvor mit dem König der Moabiter gestritten und ihm all sein Land abgewonnen bis zum Arnon.
27 So the makers of wise sayings say, Come to Heshbon, building up the town of Sihon and making it strong:
27 C'est pourquoi les poètes disent: Venez à Hesbon! Que la ville de Sihon soit rebâtie et fortifiée!
27 Uime sin canann baird: “[Misneach, a Heisbeon! Tusa atá dea-thógtha ar bhonn daingean!] A chathair Shíochon!
27 Por tanto, dicen los proverbistas: Venid á Hesbón, Edifíquese y repárese la ciudad de Sehón:
27 Daher sagt man im Lied: "Kommt gen Hesbon, daß man die Stadt Sihons baue und aufrichte;
28 For a fire has gone out of Heshbon, a flame from the town of Sihon: for the destruction of Ar in Moab, and the lords of the high places of the Arnon.
28 Car il est sorti un feu de Hesbon, Une flamme de la ville de Sihon; Elle a dévoré Ar Moab, Les habitants des hauteurs de l'Arnon.
28 Óir tháinig tine as Heisbeon, lasair as chathair Shíochon. D'alp sí Ár Mhóáb, agus shlog sí arda Arnón.
28 Que fuego salió de Hesbón, Y llama de la ciudad de Sehón, Y consumió á Ar de Moab, A los señores de los altos de Arnón.
28 denn Feuer ist aus Hesbon gefahren, eine Flamme von der Stadt Sihons, die hat gefressen Ar der Moabiter und die Bürger der Höhen am Arnon.
29 Sorrow is yours, O Moab! Destruction is your fate, O people of Chemosh: his sons have gone in flight, and his daughters are prisoners, in the hands of Sihon, king of the Amorites.
29 Malheur à toi, Moab! Tu es perdu, peuple de Kemosch! Il a fait de ses fils des fuyards, Et il a livré ses filles captives A Sihon, roi des Amoréens.
29 Liach ortsa, Móáb! Tá deireadh libh a phobal Chamóis. Rinne sé teifigh dá mhaca, agus cimí dá iníonacha, cimí ag Síochon, rí na nAmórach.
29 ¡¡Ay de ti, Moab¡ Perecido has, pueblo de Chêmos: Puso sus hijos en huída, Y sus hijas en cautividad, Por Sehón rey de los Amorrheos.
29 Weh dir, Moab! Du Volk des Kamos bist verloren; man hat seine Söhne in die Flucht geschlagen und seine Töchter gefangen geführt Sihon, dem König der Amoriter.
30 They are wounded with our arrows; destruction has come on Heshbon, even to Dibon; and we have made the land waste as far as Nophah, stretching out to Medeba.
30 Nous avons lancé sur eux nos traits: De Hesbon à Dibon tout est détruit; Nous avons étendu nos ravages jusqu'à Nophach, Jusqu'à Médeba.
30 Scrios Heisbeon na leanaí chomh fada le Díobon, na mná chomh fada le Nofach, [na fir] chomh fada le Maedabá.”
30 Mas devastamos el reino de ellos; pereció Hesbón hasta Dibón, Y destruimos hasta Nopha y Medeba.
30 Ihre Herrlichkeit ist zunichte worden von Hesbon bis gen Dibon; sie ist verstört bis gen Nophah, die da langt bis gen Medeba."
31 So Israel put up their tents in the land of the Amorites.
31 Israël s'établit dans le pays des Amoréens.

31 Also wohnte Israel im Lande der Amoriter.
32 And Moses sent men secretly to Jazer, and they took its towns, driving out the Amorites who were living there.
32 Moïse envoya reconnaître Jaezer; et ils prirent les villes de son ressort, et chassèrent les Amoréens qui y étaient.
32 Chuir Maois uaidh lucht taiscéalaithe ar Iazaer, agus ghabh Iosrael seilbh air féin agus ar na bailte go léir a bhí faoi, agus chuir sé na hAmóraigh go léir a bhí ann as seilbh.
32 Y envió Moisés á reconocer á Jazer; y tomaron sus aldeas, y echaron al Amorrheo que estaba allí.
32 Und Mose sandte aus Kundschafter gen Jaser, und sie gewannen seine Ortschaften und nahmen die Amoriter ein, die darin waren,
33 Then turning they went up by the way of Bashan; and Og, king of Bashan, went out against them with all his people, to the fight at Edrei.
33 Ils changèrent ensuite de direction, et montèrent par le chemin de Basan. Og, roi de Basan, sortit à leur rencontre, avec tout son peuple, pour les combattre à Édréi.
33 Ansin chasadar agus ghabhadar an bóthar i dtreo Bháiseán. Tháinig Óg rí Bháiseán amach ina n‑aghaidh lena mhuintir go léir chun cath a chur ag Eidreí.
33 Y volvieron, y subieron camino de Basán, y salió contra ellos Og rey de Basán, él y todo su pueblo, para pelear en Edrei.
33 und wandten sich und zogen hinauf den Weg nach Basan. Da zog aus, ihnen entgegen, Og, der König von Basan, mit allem seinem Volk, zu streiten in Edrei.
34 And the Lord said to Moses, Have no fear of him: for I have given him up into your hands, with all his people and his land; do to him as you did to Sihon, king of the Amorites, at Heshbon.
34 L'Éternel dit à Moïse: Ne le crains point; car je le livre entre tes mains, lui et tout son peuple, et son pays; tu le traiteras comme tu as traité Sihon, roi des Amoréens, qui habitait à Hesbon.
34 Ach dúirt an Tiarna le Maois: “Ná bíodh eagla ort roimhe, óir tá sé tugtha agam i do láimh, é féin agus a mhuintir agus a thír. Déan leis mar a rinne tú le Síochon, rí na nAmórach, a mhair i Heisbeon.”
34 Entonces Jehová dijo á Moisés: No le tengas miedo, que en tu mano lo he dado, á el y á todo su pueblo, y á su tierra; y harás de él como hiciste de Sehón, rey de los Amorrheos, que habitaba en Hesbón.
34 Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Fürchte dich nicht vor ihm; denn ich habe ihn in deine Hand gegeben mit Land und Leuten, und du sollst mit ihm tun, wie du mit Sihon, dem König der Amoriter, getan hast, der zu Hesbon wohnte.
35 So they overcame him and his sons and his people, driving them all out: and they took his land for their heritage.
35 Et ils le battirent, lui et ses fils, et tout son peuple, sans en laisser échapper un seul, et ils s'emparèrent de son pays.
