1 In the first month all the children of Israel came into the waste land of Zin, and put up their tents in Kadesh; there death came to Miriam, and they put her body to rest in the earth.
1 Toute l'assemblée des enfants d'Israël arriva dans le désert de Tsin le premier mois, et le peuple s'arrêta à Kadès. C'est là que mourut Marie, et qu'elle fut enterrée.
1 An chéad mhí tháinig clann Iosrael, an comhthionól go léir, isteach i bhfásach Zin. Chuir na daoine fúthu i gCáidéis. Ansiúd a fuair Miriám bás agus a adhlacadh í.
1 Y Llegaron los hijos de Israel, toda la congregación, al desierto de Zin, en el mes primero, y asentó el pueblo en Cades; y allí murió María, y fué allí sepultada.
1 Und die Kinder Israel kamen mit der ganzen Gemeinde in die Wüste Zin im ersten Monat, und das Volk lag zu Kades. Und Mirjam starb daselbst und ward daselbst begraben.
2 And there was no water for the people: and they came together against Moses and against Aaron.
2 Il n'y avait point d'eau pour l'assemblée; et l'on se souleva contre Moïse et Aaron.
2 Ní raibh uisce ann don chomhthionól, agus chuireadar go léir le chéile in aghaidh Mhaois agus Árón.
2 Y como no hubiese agua para la congregación, juntáronse contra Moisés y Aarón.
2 Und die Gemeinde hatte kein Wasser, und sie versammelten sich wider Mose und Aaron.
3 And the people were angry with Moses and said, If only death had overtaken us when our brothers came to their death before the Lord!
3 Le peuple chercha querelle à Moïse. Ils dirent: Que n'avons-nous expiré, quand nos frères expirèrent devant l'Éternel?
3 Thug an pobal a ndúshlán faoi Mhaois: “Uch gan sinn a fháil bháis,” ar siad, “mar a fuair ár mbráithre bás i láthair an Tiarna!
3 Y regañó el pueblo con Moisés, y hablaron diciendo: ¡Ojalá que nosotros hubiéramos muerto cuando perecieron nuestros hermanos delante de Jehová!
3 Und das Volk haderte mit Mose und sprach: Ach, daß wir umgekommen wären, da unsere Brüder umkamen vor dem HERRN!
4 Why have you taken the Lord's people into this waste, for death to come to us and to our cattle there?
4 Pourquoi avez-vous fait venir l'assemblée de l'Éternel dans ce désert, pour que nous y mourions, nous et notre bétail?
4 Cad ab áil libh ag tabhairt comhthionól an Tiarna amach san fhásach seo, díreach d'fhonn go bhfaighimís bás anseo - sinn féin agus ár n‑eallach?
4 Y ¿por qué hiciste venir la congregación de Jehová á este desierto, para que muramos aquí nosotros y nuestras bestias?
4 Warum habt ihr die Gemeinde des HERRN in diese Wüste gebracht, daß wir hier sterben mit unserm Vieh?
5 Why have you made us come out of Egypt into this evil place? This is no place of seed or figs or vines or other fruits, and there is no water for drinking.
5 Pourquoi nous avez-vous fait monter hors d'Égypte, pour nous amener dans ce méchant lieu? Ce n'est pas un lieu où l'on puisse semer, et il n'y a ni figuier, ni vigne, ni grenadier, ni d'eau à boire.
5 Cén fáth ar sheol sibh amach as an Éigipt sinn le teacht chun na háite danartha seo? Ní aon áit é d'arbhar, ná do fhigí, do fhíniúna ná do phomagránaití agus níl aon uisce le hól ann.”
5 ¿Y por qué nos has hecho subir de Egipto, para traernos á este mal lugar? No es lugar de sementera, de higueras, de viñas, ni granadas: ni aun de agua para beber.
5 Und warum habt ihr uns aus Ägypten geführt an diesen bösen Ort, da man nicht säen kann, da weder Feigen noch Weinstöcke noch Granatäpfel sind und dazu kein Wasser zu trinken?
6 Then Moses and Aaron went away from the people to the door of the Tent of meeting; and, falling on their faces there, they saw the glory of the Lord.
6 Moïse et Aaron s'éloignèrent de l'assemblée pour aller à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation. Ils tombèrent sur leur visage; et la gloire de l'Éternel leur apparut.
6 Ansin d'imigh Maois agus Árón ón gcomhthionól agus tháinig go doras Bhoth na Teagmhála. Chaitheadar iad féin ar a mbéal agus ar a bhfiacla ar an talamh, agus thaispeáin gloir an Tiarna í féin dóibh.
6 Y fuéronse Moisés y Aarón de delante de la congregación á la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio, y echáronse sobre sus rostros; y la gloria de Jehová apareció sobre ellos.
6 Mose und Aaron gingen vor der Gemeinde zur Tür der Hütte des Stifts und fielen auf ihr Angesicht, und die Herrlichkeit des HERRN erschien ihnen.
7 And the Lord said to Moses,
7 L'Éternel parla à Moïse, et dit:
7 Labhair an Tiarna le Maois agus dúirt:
7 Y habló Jehová á Moisés, diciendo:
7 Und der HERR redete mit Mose und sprach:
8 Take the rod, you and Aaron, your brother, and make all the people come together, and before their eyes give orders to the rock to give out its water; and so make water come out of the rock for them, and give the people and their cattle drink.
8 Prends la verge, et convoque l'assemblée, toi et ton frère Aaron. Vous parlerez en leur présence au rocher, et il donnera ses eaux; tu feras sortir pour eux de l'eau du rocher, et tu abreuveras l'assemblée et leur bétail.
8 “Tóg an tslat agus cruinnigh an pobal, tú féin agus do dheartháir Árón, agus ansin os comhair a súl, ordaígí don charraig a huisce a thabhairt uaithi. Cuirfidh tú uisce ag sní as an gcarraig dóibh agus tabharfaidh tú deoch don chomhthionól agus dá eallach.”
8 Toma la vara y reune la congregación, tú y Aarón tu hermano, y hablad á la peña en ojos de ellos; y ella dará su agua, y les sacarás aguas de la peña, y darás de beber á la congregación, y á sus bestias.
8 Nimm den Stab und versammle die Gemeinde, du und dein Bruder Aaron, und redet mit dem Fels vor ihren Augen; der wird sein Wasser geben. Also sollst du ihnen Wasser aus dem Fels bringen und die Gemeinde tränken und ihr Vieh.
9 And Moses took the rod from before the Lord as he gave him orders.
9 Moïse prit la verge qui était devant l'Éternel, comme l'Éternel le lui avait ordonné.
9 Thóg Maois an chraobh ó láthair an Tiarna mar a d'ordaigh sé dó.
9 Entonces Moisés tomó la vara de delante de Jehová, como él le mandó.
9 Da nahm Mose den Stab vor dem HERRN, wie er ihm geboten hatte.
10 Then Moses and Aaron made the people come together in front of the rock, and he said to them, Give ear now, you people whose hearts are turned from the Lord; are we to get water for you out of the rock?
10 Moïse et Aaron convoquèrent l'assemblée en face du rocher. Et Moïse leur dit: Écoutez donc, rebelles! Est-ce de ce rocher que nous vous ferons sortir de l'eau?
10 Ansin ghair Maois agus Árón an comhthionól le chéile os comhair na carraige agus dúirt leo: “Éistigí anois a lucht na ceannairce! An dtabharfaimid uisce ina shruth as an gcarraig seo daoibh?”
10 Y juntaron Moisés y Aarón la congregación delante de la peña, y díjoles: Oid ahora, rebeldes: ¿os hemos de hacer salir aguas de esta peña?
10 Und Mose und Aaron versammelten die Gemeinde vor den Fels, und er sprach zu ihnen: Höret, ihr Ungehorsamen, werden wir euch Wasser bringen aus jenem Fels?
11 And lifting up his hand, Moses gave the rock two blows with his rod: and water came streaming out, and the people and their cattle had drink enough.
11 Puis Moïse leva la main et frappa deux fois le rocher avec sa verge. Il sortit de l'eau en abondance. L'assemblée but, et le bétail aussi.
11 D'ardaigh Maois a lámh agus bhuail sé an charraig faoi dhó leis an tslat, agus tháinig uisce amach ina thuile agus d'ól an comhthionól agus a n‑eallach deoch.
11 Entonces alzó Moisés su mano, é hirió la peña con su vara dos veces: y salieron muchas aguas, y bebió la congregación, y sus bestias.
11 Und Mose hob seine Hand auf und schlug den Fels mit dem Stab zweimal. Da ging viel Wasser heraus, daß die Gemeinde trank und ihr Vieh.
12 Then the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, Because you had not enough faith in me to keep my name holy before the children of Israel, you will not take this people into the land which I have given them.
12 Alors l'Éternel dit à Moïse et à Aaron: Parce que vous n'avez pas cru en moi, pour me sanctifier aux yeux des enfants d'Israël, vous ne ferez point entrer cette assemblée dans le pays que je lui donne.
12 Ansin dúirt an Tiarna le Maois agus le hÁrón: “De bhrí nár chreid sibh go bhféadfainn mé féin a naomhú os comhair súile chlann Iosrael, ní threoróidh sibh an pobal seo isteach sa tír atá á thabhairt agam dóibh.”
12 Y Jehová dijo á Moisés y á Aarón: Por cuanto no creísteis en mí, para santificarme en ojos de los hijos de Israel, por tanto, no meteréis esta congregación en la tierra que les he dado.
12 Der HERR aber sprach zu Mose und Aaron: Darum daß ihr nicht an mich geglaubt habt, mich zu heiligen vor den Kindern Israel, sollt ihr diese Gemeinde nicht in das Land bringen, das ich ihnen geben werde.
13 These are the waters of Meribah; because the children of Israel went against the Lord, and they saw that he was holy among them.
13 Ce sont les eaux de Meriba, où les enfants d'Israël contestèrent avec l'Éternel, qui fut sanctifié en eux.
13 Sin iad uiscí Mhiríbeá [Conspóide] mar a raibh clann Iosrael ag conspóid leis an Tiarna agus gur thaispeáin sé gur naofa é ina measc. Eadóm
13 Estas son las aguas de la rencilla, por las cuales contendieron los hijos de Israel con Jehová, y él se santificó en ellos.
13 Das ist das Haderwasser, darüber die Kinder Israel mit dem HERRN haderten und er geheiligt ward an ihnen.
14 Then Moses sent men from Kadesh to the king of Edom to say to him, Your brother Israel says, You have knowledge of all the things we have been through;
14 De Kadès, Moïse envoya des messagers au roi d'Édom, pour lui dire: Ainsi parle ton frère Israël: Tu sais toutes les souffrances que nous avons éprouvées.
14 Sheol Maois teachtairí ó Cháidéis: “Do rí Eadóm. Teachtaireacht ó do bhráthair Iosrael. Is maith is eol duit an cruatan go léir a luigh orainn;
14 Y envió Moisés embajadores al rey de Edom desde Cades: Así dice Israel tu hermano: Tú has sabido todo el trabajo que nos ha venido:
14 Und Mose sandte Botschaft aus Kades zu dem König der Edomiter: Also läßt dir dein Bruder Israel sagen: Du weißt alle die Mühsal, die uns betroffen hat,
15 How our fathers went down into Egypt, and we were living in Egypt for a long time; and the Egyptians were cruel to us and to our fathers:
15 Nos pères descendirent en Égypte, et nous y demeurâmes longtemps. Mais les Égyptiens nous ont maltraités, nous et nos pères.
15 chuaigh ár sinsir síos go dtí an Éigipt agus d'fhanamar ann tamall fada. Ach thug na hÉigiptigh drochíde orainn mar a thugadar ar ár sinsir.
15 Cómo nuestros padres descendieron á Egipto, y estuvimos en Egipto largo tiempo, y los Egipcios nos maltrataron, y á nuestros padres;
15 daß unsre Väter nach Ägypten hinabgezogen sind und wir lange Zeit in Ägypten gewohnt haben, und die Ägypter behandelten uns und unsre Väter übel.
16 And the Lord gave ear to the voice of our cry, and sent an angel and took us out of Egypt: and now we are in Kadesh, a town on the edge of your land;
16 Nous avons crié à l'Éternel, et il a entendu notre voix. Il a envoyé un ange, et nous a fait sortir de l'Égypte. Et voici, nous sommes à Kadès, ville à l'extrémité de ton territoire.
16 Ghlaomar chun an Tiarna; d'éist sé linn agus chuir sé aingeal chugainn chun sinn a thabhairt amach as an Éigipt. Táimid anois i gCáidéis, cathair ar imeall do chríche.
16 Y clamamos á Jehová, el cual oyó nuestra voz, y envió ángel, y sacónos de Egipto; y he aquí estamos en Cades, ciudad al extremo de tus confines:
16 Und wir schrieen zu dem HERRN; der hat unsre Stimme erhört und einen Engel gesandt und uns aus Ägypten geführt. Und siehe, wir sind zu Kades, in der Stadt an deinen Grenzen.
17 Let us now go through your land: we will not go into field or vine-garden, or take the water of the springs; we will go by the highway, not turning to the right or to the left, till we have gone past the limits of your land.
17 Laisse-nous passer par ton pays; nous ne traverserons ni les champs, ni les vignes, et nous ne boirons pas l'eau des puits; nous suivrons la route royale, sans nous détourner à droite ou à gauche, jusqu'à ce que nous ayons franchi ton territoire.
17 Lig dúinn gabháil trí do thír. Ní rachaimid trí ghort ná trí fhíonghort, ná ní ólfaimid uisce as tobar. Tabharfaimid bóthar an rí orainn féin gan casadh ar dheis ná ar chlé go dtí go mbeimid imithe thar do theorainneacha.”
17 Rogámoste que pasemos por tu tierra; no pasaremos por labranza, ni por viña, ni beberemos agua de pozos: por el camino real iremos, sin apartarnos á la diestra ni á la siniestra, hasta que hayamos pasado tu término.
17 Laß uns durch dein Land ziehen. Wir wollen nicht durch Äcker noch Weinberge gehen, auch nicht Wasser aus den Brunnen trinken; die Landstraße wollen wir ziehen, weder zur Rechten noch zur Linken weichen, bis wir durch deine Grenze kommen.
18 And Edom said, You are not to go through my land, for if you do I will come out against you with the sword.
18 Édom lui dit: Tu ne passeras point chez moi, sinon je sortirai à ta rencontre avec l'épée.
18 Ach d'fhreagair Eadóm é: “Ná gabh trí mo chríochasa nó tiocfaidh mé amach chun tú a ionsaí.”
18 Y Edom le respondió: No pasarás por mi país, de otra manera saldré contra ti armado.
18 Edom aber sprach zu ihnen: Du sollst nicht durch mich ziehen, oder ich will dir mit dem Schwert entgegenziehen.
19 And the children of Israel said to him, We will go up by the highway: and if we or our cattle take of your water, we will give you a price for it: only let us go through on our feet, nothing more.
19 Les enfants d'Israël lui dirent: Nous monterons par la grande route; et, si nous buvons de ton eau, moi et mes troupeaux, j'en paierai le prix; je ne ferai que passer avec mes pieds, pas autre chose.
19 Dúirt clann Iosrael leis: “An bóthar mór a gheobhfaimid; má ólaimid aon chuid de d'uisce, mise féin nó m'eallach, díolfaidh mé as. Lig dom gabháil tríd an tír de chois, sin uile.”
19 Y los hijos de Israel dijeron: Por el camino seguido iremos; y si bebiéremos tus aguas yo y mis ganados, daré el precio de ellas: ciertamente sin hacer otra cosa, pasaré de seguida.
19 Die Kinder Israel sprachen zu ihm: Wir wollen auf der gebahnten Straße ziehen, und so wir von deinem Wasser trinken, wir und unser Vieh, so wollen wir's bezahlen; wir wollen nichts denn nur zu Fuße hindurchziehen.
20 But he said, You are not to go through. And Edom came out against them in his strength, with a great army.
20 Il répondit: Tu ne passeras pas! Et Édom sortit à sa rencontre avec un peuple nombreux et à main forte.
20 D'fhreagair Eadóm: “Ní dhéanfaidh sibh,” agus tháinig Eadóm amach ina n‑aghaidh le slua mór agus le tréan-neart.
20 Y él respondió: No pasarás. Y salió Edom contra él con mucho pueblo, y mano fuerte.
20 Er aber sprach: Du sollst nicht herdurchziehen. Und die Edomiter zogen aus, ihnen entgegen, mit mächtigem Volk und starker Hand.
21 So Edom would not let Israel go through his land; and Israel went in another direction.
21 Ainsi Édom refusa de donner passage à Israël par son territoire. Et Israël se détourna de lui.
21 Dhiúltaigh Eadóm cead slí trína chríocha d'Iosrael, ar an gcuma sin, agus chas Iosrael i leataobh uaidh. Bás Árón
21 No quiso, pues, Edom dejar pasar á Israel por su término, y apartóse Israel de él.
21 Also weigerten sich die Edomiter, Israel zu vergönnen, durch ihr Gebiet zu ziehen. Und Israel wich von ihnen.
22 And they went on from Kadesh, and came, with all their people, to Mount Hor.
22 Toute l'assemblée des enfants d'Israël partit de Kadès, et arriva à la montagne de Hor.
22 Chuireadar chun bothair ó Cháidéis agus tháinig comhthionól chlann Iosrael go léir go Sliabh Hor.
22 Y partidos de Cades los hijos de Israel, toda aquella congregación, vinieron al monte de Hor.
22 Und die Kinder Israel brachen auf von Kades und kamen mit der ganzen Gemeinde an den Berg Hor.
23 And at Mount Hor, at the edge of the land of Edom, the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,
23 L'Éternel dit à Moïse et à Aaron, vers la montagne de Hor, sur la frontière du pays d'Édom:
23 Labhair an Tiarna le Maois agus le hÁrón ag Sliabh Hor ar theorainn chríocha Eadóm.
23 Y Jehová habló á Moisés y Aarón en el monte de Hor, en los confines de la tierra de Edom, diciendo:
23 Und der HERR redete mit Mose und Aaron am Berge Hor, an den Grenzen des Landes der Edomiter, und sprach:
24 Aaron will be put to rest with his people; he will not go into the land which I have given to the children of Israel, because you went against my word at the waters of Meribah.
24 Aaron va être recueilli auprès de son peuple; car il n'entrera point dans le pays que je donne aux enfants d'Israël, parce que vous avez été rebelles à mon ordre, aux eaux de Meriba.
24 “Ní foláir,” ar sé, “Árón a chruinniú chun a mhuintire; óir níl sé le dul isteach sa tír a thug mé do chlann Iosrael, óir rinne sibh ceannairc i m'aghaidh ag uiscí Mhiríbeá.
24 Aarón será reunido á sus pueblos; pues no entrará en la tierra que yo di á los hijos de Israel, por cuanto fuisteis rebeldes á mi mandamiento en las aguas de la rencilla.
24 Laß sich Aaron sammeln zu seinem Volk; denn er soll nicht in das Land kommen, das ich den Kindern Israel gegeben habe, darum daß ihr meinem Munde ungehorsam gewesen seid bei dem Haderwasser.
25 So take Aaron and Eleazar, his son, up into Mount Hor;
25 Prends Aaron et son fils Éléazar, et fais-les monter sur la montagne de Hor.
25 Beir leat Árón agus a mhac Eileázár agus tabhair suas go Sliabh Hor iad.
25 Toma á Aarón y á Eleazar su hijo, y hazlos subir al monte de Hor;
25 Nimm aber Aaron und seinen Sohn Eleasar und führe sie auf den Berg Hor
26 And take Aaron's robes off him and put them on Eleazar, his son: and death will come to Aaron there, and he will be put to rest with his people.
26 Dépouille Aaron de ses vêtements, et fais-les revêtir à Éléazar, son fils. C'est là qu'Aaron sera recueilli et qu'il mourra.
26 Ansin bain a éidí d'Árón agus cuir ar a mhac Eileázár iad; cruinneofar Árón chun a mhuintire agus gheobhaidh sé bás ansiúd.”
26 Y haz desnudar á Aarón sus vestidos, y viste de ellos á Eleazar su hijo; porque Aarón será reunido á sus pueblos, y allí morirá.
26 und zieh Aaron seine Kleider aus und ziehe sie Eleasar an, seinem Sohne. Und Aaron soll sich daselbst sammeln und sterben.
27 So Moses did as the Lord had said, and before the eyes of all the people they went up Mount Hor.
27 Moïse fit ce que l'Éternel avait ordonné. Ils montèrent sur la montagne de Hor, aux yeux de toute l'assemblée.
27 Rinne Maois mar a d'ordaigh an Tiarna. Chuadar suas go Sliabh Hor i radharc an chomhthionóil uile.
27 Y Moisés hizo como Jehová le mandó: y subieron al monte de Hor á ojos de toda la congregación.
27 Da tat Mose, wie ihm der HERR geboten hatte, und sie stiegen auf den Berg Hor vor der ganzen Gemeinde.
28 And Moses took off Aaron's robes, and put them on Eleazar, his son; and there on the top of the mountain death came to Aaron: then Moses and Eleazar came down from the mountain.
28 Moïse dépouilla Aaron de ses vêtements, et les fit revêtir à Éléazar, son fils. Aaron mourut là, au sommet de la montagne. Moïse et Éléazar descendirent de la montagne.
28 Bhain Maois a éidí d'Árón agus chuir ar Eileázár a mhac iad. Agus fuair Árón bás ansiúd ar bharr an tsléibhe. Ansin tháinig Maois agus Eileázár anuas ón sliabh.
28 Y Moisés hizo desnudar á Aarón de sus vestidos y vistiólos á Eleazar su hijo: y Aarón murió allí en la cumbre del monte: y Moisés y Eleazar descendieron del monte.
28 Und Mose zog Aaron seine Kleider aus und zog sie Eleasar an, seinem Sohne.
29 And when the people saw that Aaron was dead, all the children of Israel gave themselves up to weeping for him for thirty days.
29 Toute l'assemblée vit qu'Aaron avait expiré, et toute la maison d'Israël pleura Aaron pendant trente jours.
