1 Then all the people gave load cries of grief, and all that night they gave themselves up to weeping.
1 Toute l'assemblée éleva la voix et poussa des cris, et le peuple pleura pendant la nuit.
1 Ansin thóg an comhthionól uile gáir in ard a gcinn agus bhí na daoine ag lógóireacht ar feadh na hoíche ar fad.
1 Entonces toda la congregación alzaron grita, y dieron voces: y el pueblo lloró aquella noche.
1 Da fuhr die ganze Gemeinde auf und schrie, und das Volk weinte die Nacht.
2 And all the children of Israel, crying out against Moses and Aaron, said, If only we had come to our death in the land of Egypt, or even in this waste land!
2 Tous les enfants d'Israël murmurèrent contre Moïse et Aaron, et toute l'assemblée leur dit: Que ne sommes-nous morts dans le pays d'Égypte, ou que ne sommes-nous morts dans ce désert!
2 Chrom clann Iosrael go léir ag monabhar in aghaidh Mhaois agus Árón, agus dúirt an comhthionól uile leo: “Uch nach bhfuaireamar bás i dtír na hÉigipte! nó ar a laghad nach bhfuaireamar bás san fhásach seo!
2 Y quejáronse contra Moisés y contra Aarón todos los hijos de Israel; y díjoles toda la multitud: ¡Ojalá muriéramos en la tierra de Egipto; ó en este desierto ojalá muriéramos!
2 Und alle Kinder Israel murrten wider Mose und Aaron, und die ganze Gemeinde sprach zu ihnen: Ach, daß wir in Ägyptenland gestorben wären oder noch stürben in dieser Wüste!
3 Why is the Lord taking us into this land to come to our death by the sword? Our wives and our little ones will get into strange hands: would it not be better for us to go back to Egypt?
3 Pourquoi l'Éternel nous fait-il aller dans ce pays, où nous tomberons par l'épée, où nos femmes et nos petits enfants deviendront une proie? Ne vaut-il pas mieux pour nous retourner en Égypte?
3 Cad ab áil leis an Tiarna dár dtabhairt isteach sa tír seo d'fhonn go dtitimís de rinn claímh agus go ngabhfaí ár mná agus ár miondaoine mar chreach? Nárbh fhearr dúinn filleadh ar an Éigipt?”
3 ¿Y por qué nos trae Jehová á esta tierra para caer á cuchillo y que nuestras mujeres y nuestros chiquitos sean por presa? ¿no nos sería mejor volvernos á Egipto?
3 Warum führt uns der HERR in dies Land, daß wir durchs Schwert fallen und unsere Weiber und unsere Kinder ein Raub werden? Ist's nicht besser, wir ziehen wieder nach Ägypten?
4 And they said to one another, Let us make a captain over us, and go back to Egypt.
4 Et ils se dirent l'un à l'autre: Nommons un chef, et retournons en Égypte.
4 Dúradar le chéile ansin: “Ceapaimís ceannaire agus fillimís ar an Éigipt.”
4 Y decían el uno al otro: Hagamos un capitán, y volvámonos á Egipto.
4 Und einer sprach zu dem andern: Laßt uns einen Hauptmann aufwerfen und wieder nach Ägypten ziehen!
5 Then Moses and Aaron went down on their faces before the meeting of the people.
5 Moïse et Aaron tombèrent sur leur visage, en présence de toute l'assemblée réunie des enfants d'Israël.
5 Ansin chaith Maois agus Árón iad féin ar a mbéal agus ar a bhfiacla os comhair chruinniú chomhthionól chlann Iosrael go léir.
5 Entonces Moisés y Aarón cayeron sobre sus rostros delante de toda la multitud de la congregación de los hijos de Israel.
5 Mose aber und Aaron fielen auf ihr Angesicht vor der ganzen Versammlung der Gemeinde der Kinder Israel.
6 And Joshua, the son of Nun, and Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, two of those who had been to see the land, giving signs of grief,
6 Et, parmi ceux qui avaient exploré le pays, Josué, fils de Nun, et Caleb, fils de Jephunné, déchirèrent leurs vêtements,
6 Iósua mac Nún agus Cálaeb mac Iafuna, beirt de lucht braite na tíre, stróic siad a n‑éadaí,
6 Y Josué hijo de Nun, y Caleb hijo de Jephone, que eran de los que habían reconocido la tierra, rompieron sus vestidos;
6 Und Josua, der Sohn Nuns, und Kaleb, der Sohn Jephunnes, die auch das Land erkundet hatten, zerrissen ihre Kleider
7 Said to all the children of Israel, This land which we went through to see is a very good land.
7 et parlèrent ainsi à toute l'assemblée des enfants d'Israël: Le pays que nous avons parcouru, pour l'explorer, est un pays très bon, excellent.
7 agus dúradar le comhthionól chlann Iosrael go léir: “An tír a ghabhamar á thaiscéaladh, is tír mhaith é, tír fhónta.
7 Y hablaron á toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel, diciendo: La tierra por donde pasamos para reconocerla, es tierra en gran manera buena.
7 und sprachen zu der ganzen Gemeinde der Kinder Israel: Das Land, das wir durchwandelt haben, es zu erkunden, ist sehr gut.
8 And if the Lord has delight in us, he will take us into this land and give it to us, a land flowing with milk and honey.
8 Si l'Éternel nous est favorable, il nous mènera dans ce pays, et nous le donnera: c'est un pays où coulent le lait et le miel.
8 Má bhíonn an Tiarna sásta linn, seolfaidh sé isteach sa tír seo sinn agus tabharfaidh sé dúinn é. Is tír é ina bhfuil bainne agus mil ina slaoda.
8 Si Jehová se agradare de nosotros, él nos meterá en esta tierra, y nos la entregará; tierra que fluye leche y miel.
8 Wenn der HERR uns gnädig ist, so wird er uns in das Land bringen und es uns geben, ein Land, darin Milch und Honig fließt.
9 Only, do not go against the Lord or go in fear of the people of the land, for they will be our food; their strength has been taken from them and the Lord is with us: have no fear of them.
9 Seulement, ne soyez point rebelles contre l'Éternel, et ne craignez point les gens de ce pays, car ils nous serviront de pâture, ils n'ont plus d'ombrage pour les couvrir, l'Éternel est avec nous, ne les craignez point!
9 Ná déanaigí ceannairc in aghaidh an Tiarna. Ná bíodh eagla oraibh roimh mhuintir na tíre seo; déanfaimid iad a alpadh. Tá scáil a gcumhdaithe scartha leo, fad tá an Tiarna inár gcoimhdeacht. Na bíodh eagla oraibh rompu.”
9 Por tanto, no seáis rebeldes contra Jehová, ni temáis al pueblo de aquesta tierra, porque nuestro pan son: su amparo se ha apartado de ellos, y con nosotros está Jehová: no los temáis.
9 Fallt nur nicht ab vom HERRN und fürchtet euch vor dem Volk dieses Landes nicht; denn wir wollen sie wie Brot fressen. Es ist ihr Schutz von ihnen gewichen; der HERR aber ist mit uns. Fürchtet euch nicht vor ihnen.
10 But all the people said they were to be stoned. Then the glory of the Lord was seen in the Tent of meeting, before the eyes of all the children of Israel.
10 Toute l'assemblée parlait de les lapider, lorsque la gloire de l'Éternel apparut sur la tente d'assignation, devant tous les enfants d'Israël.
10 Ag caint ar ghabháil de chlocha orthu a bhí an comhthionól go léir nuair a thaispeáin glóir an Tiarna í féin ag Both na Teagmhála do chlann Iosrael.
10 Entonces toda la multitud habló de apedrearlos con piedras. Mas la gloria de Jehová se mostró en el tabernáculo del testimonio á todos los hijos de Israel.
10 Da sprach das ganze Volk, man sollte sie steinigen. Da erschien die Herrlichkeit des HERRN in der Hütte des Stifts allen Kindern Israel.
11 And the Lord said to Moses, How long will this people have no respect for me? how long will they be without faith, in the face of all the signs I have done among them?
11 Et l'Éternel dit à Moïse: Jusqu'à quand ce peuple me méprisera-t-il? Jusqu'à quand ne croira-t-il pas en moi, malgré tous les prodiges que j'ai faits au milieu de lui?
11 Dúirt an Tiarna le Maois: “An fada a bheidh an pobal seo do mo mhaslú? An fada a dhiúltóidh siad creideamh ionam d'ainneoin na gcomharthaí go léir a rinne mé ina measc?
11 Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: ¿Hasta cuándo me ha de irritar este pueblo? ¿hasta cuándo no me ha de creer con todas las señales que he hecho en medio de ellos?.
11 Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Wie lange lästert mich dies Volk? und wie lange wollen sie nicht an mich glauben durch allerlei Zeichen, die ich unter ihnen getan habe?
12 I will send disease on them for their destruction, and take away their heritage, and I will make of you a nation greater and stronger than they.
12 Je le frapperai par la peste, et je le détruirai; mais je ferai de toi une nation plus grande et plus puissante que lui.
12 Buailfidh mé le plá iad agus fágfaidh mé gan oidhreacht iad; agus déanfaidh mé cine nua díotsa, cine is mó agus is treise ná iad.”
12 Yo le heriré de mortandad, y lo destruiré, y á ti te pondré sobre gente grande y más fuerte que ellos.
12 So will ich sie mit Pestilenz schlagen und vertilgen und dich zu einem größeren und mächtigeren Volk machen, denn dies ist.
13 And Moses said to the Lord, Then it will come to the ears of the Egyptians; for by your power you took this people out from among them;
13 Moïse dit à l'Éternel: Les Égyptiens l'apprendront, eux du milieu desquels tu as fait monter ce peuple par ta puissance,
13 D'fhreagair Maois an Tiarna agus dúirt: “Tá sé cloiste ag na hÉigiptigh cheana féin, go dtug tusa an pobal seo, trí do chumhacht féin, amach óna measc.
13 Y Moisés respondió á Jehová: Oiránlo luego los Egipcios, porque de en medio de ellos sacaste á este pueblo con tu fortaleza:
13 Mose aber sprach zu dem HERRN: So werden's die Ägypter hören; denn du hast dies Volk mit deiner Kraft mitten aus ihnen geführt.
14 And they will give the news to the people of this land: they have had word that you, Lord, are present with this people, letting yourself be seen face to face, and that your cloud is resting over them, and that you go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night.
14 et ils le diront aux habitants de ce pays. Ils savaient que toi, l'Éternel, tu es au milieu de ce peuple; que tu apparais visiblement, toi, l'Éternel; que ta nuée se tient sur lui; que tu marches devant lui le jour dans une colonne de nuée, et la nuit dans une colonne de feu.
14 Tá sin ráite cheana féin acu le muintir na tíre seo. Tá a fhios acu cheana féin go bhfuil tusa, a Thiarna, i lár an phobail seo, agus go dtaispeánann tú thú féin dóibh gnúis le gnúis; gurb é do néalsa, a Thiarna, a stadann os a gcionn, agus go dtéann tú rompu mar cholún néil sa lá agus mar cholún tine san oíche.
14 Y lo dirán á los habitadores de esta tierra; los cuales han oído que tú, oh Jehová, estabas en medio de este pueblo, que ojo á ojo aparecías tú, oh Jehová, y que tu nube estaba sobre ellos, y que de día ibas delante de ellos en columna de nube, y de noche en columna de fuego:
14 Und man wird es sagen zu den Einwohnern dieses Landes, die da gehört haben, daß du, HERR, unter diesem Volk seist, daß du von Angesicht gesehen werdest und deine Wolke stehe über ihnen und du, HERR, gehest vor ihnen her in der Wolkensäule des Tages und Feuersäule des Nachts.
15 Now if you put to death all this people as one man, then the nations who have had word of your glory will say,
15 Si tu fais mourir ce peuple comme un seul homme, les nations qui ont entendu parler de toi diront:
15 Má mharaíonn tú an mhuintir seo anois d'aon iarracht, déarfaidh na ciníocha a chuala i do thaobh:
15 Y que has hecho morir á este pueblo como á un hombre: y las gentes que hubieren oído tu fama hablarán, diciendo:
15 Würdest du nun dies Volk töten, wie einen Mann, so würden die Heiden sagen, die solch Gerücht von dir hören, und sprechen:
16 Because the Lord was not able to take this people into the land which he made an oath to give them, he sent destruction on them in the waste land.
16 L'Éternel n'avait pas le pouvoir de mener ce peuple dans le pays qu'il avait juré de lui donner: c'est pour cela qu'il l'a égorgé dans le désert.
16 ‘Níor fhéad an Tiarna an mhuintir seo a thabhairt isteach sa tír a mhionnaigh sé a thabharfadh sé dóibh, agus dá bhrí sin rinne sé ár orthu san fhásach.’
16 Porque no pudo Jehová meter este pueblo en la tierra de la cual les había jurado, los mató en el desierto.
16 Der HERR konnte mitnichten dies Volk in das Land bringen, das er ihnen geschworen hatte; darum hat er sie geschlachtet in der Wüste.
17 So now, may my prayer come before you, and let the power of the Lord be great, as you said:
17 Maintenant, que la puissance du Seigneur se montre dans sa grandeur, comme tu l'as déclaré en disant:
17 I bhfad uait anois é, impím ort. Taispeáin do chumhacht anois de réir na mbriathra a labhair tú:
17 Ahora, pues, yo te ruego que sea magnificada la fortaleza del Señor, como lo hablaste, diciendo:
17 So laß nun die Kraft des HERRN groß werden, wie du gesagt hast und gesprochen:
18 The Lord is slow to wrath and great in mercy, overlooking wrongdoing and evil, and will not let wrongdoers go free; sending punishment on children for the sins of their fathers, to the third and fourth generation.
18 L'Éternel est lent à la colère et riche en bonté, il pardonne l'iniquité et la rébellion; mais il ne tient point le coupable pour innocent, et il punit l'iniquité des pères sur les enfants jusqu'à la troisième et la quatrième génération.
18 ‘Is mall é an Tiarna chun feirge, is lán é de bhuanghrá; maitheann sé coir agus peaca, ach ní fhágann sé aon ní gan díolt, ag agairt cion na n‑aithreacha ar an gclann agus ar chlann na clainne go dtí an tríú agus an ceathrú glúin.’
18 Jehová, tardo de ira y grande en misericordia, que perdona la iniquidad y la rebelión, y absolviendo no absolverá al culpado; que visita la maldad de los padres sobre los hijos hasta los terceros y hasta los cuartos.
18 Der HERR ist geduldig und von großer Barmherzigkeit und vergibt Missetat und Übertretung und läßt niemand ungestraft sondern sucht heim die Missetat der Väter über die Kinder ins dritte und vierte Glied.
19 May the sin of this people have forgiveness, in the measure of your great mercy, as you have had mercy on them from Egypt up till now.
19 Pardonne l'iniquité de ce peuple, selon la grandeur de ta miséricorde, comme tu as pardonné à ce peuple depuis l'Égypte jusqu'ici.
19 Ó lánmhaire do bhuanghra dá bhrí sin, maith peaca an phobail seo, faoi mar atá maite agat don phobal seo ón Éigipt go dtí seo.”
19 Perdona ahora la iniquidad de este pueblo según la grandeza de tu misericordia, y como has perdonado á este pueblo desde Egipto hasta aquí.
19 So sei nun gnädig der Missetat dieses Volks nach deiner großen Barmherzigkeit, wie du auch vergeben hast diesem Volk aus Ägypten bis hierher.
20 And the Lord said, I have had mercy, as you say:
20 Et l'Éternel dit: Je pardonne, comme tu l'as demandé.
20 Ansin dúirt an Tiarna: “Maithim dóibh mar a iarrann tú.
20 Entonces Jehová dijo: Yo lo he perdonado conforme á tu dicho:
20 Und der HERR sprach: Ich habe es vergeben, wie du gesagt hast.
21 But truly, as I am living, and as all the earth will be full of the glory of the Lord;
21 Mais, je suis vivant! et la gloire de l'Éternel remplira toute la terre.
21 Ach, dar mo bheo agus dar glóir an Tiarna a líonann an domhan uile,
21 Mas, ciertamente vivo yo y mi gloria hinche toda la tierra,
21 Aber so wahr als ich lebe, so soll alle Herrlichkeit des HERRN voll werden.
22 Because all these men, having seen my glory and the signs which I have done in Egypt and in the waste land, still have put me to the test ten times, and have not given ear to my voice;
22 Tous ceux qui ont vu ma gloire, et les prodiges que j'ai faits en Égypte et dans le désert, qui m'ont tenté déjà dix fois, et qui n'ont point écouté ma voix,
22 an mhuintir seo go léir a chonaic mo ghlóir agus na hiontais a rinne mé san Éigipt agus san fhásach, agus a rinne mé a phromhadh faoi dheich cheana féin gan géilleadh do mo ghlór
22 Que todos los que vieron mi gloria y mis señales que he hecho en Egipto y en el desierto, y me han tentado ya diez veces, y no han oído mi voz,
22 Denn alle die Männer, die meine Herrlichkeit und meine Zeichen gesehen haben, die ich getan habe in Ägypten und in der Wüste, und mich nun zehnmal versucht und meiner Stimme nicht gehorcht haben,
23 They will not see the land about which I made an oath to their fathers; not one of these by whom I have not been honoured will see it.
23 tous ceux-là ne verront point le pays que j'ai juré à leurs pères de leur donner, tous ceux qui m'ont méprisé ne le verront point.
23 ní fheicfidh duine díobh an tír a mhionnaigh mé a thabharfainn dá n‑aithreacha; ní fheicfidh duine den dream a chaith drochmheas liom é.
23 No verán la tierra de la cual juré á sus padres: no, ninguno de los que me han irritado la verá.
23 deren soll keiner das Land sehen, das ich ihren Vätern geschworen habe; auch keiner soll es sehen, der mich verlästert hat.
24 But my servant Caleb, because he had a different spirit in him, and has been true to me with all his heart, him I will take into that land into which he went, and his seed will have it for their heritage.
24 Et parce que mon serviteur Caleb a été animé d'un autre esprit, et qu'il a pleinement suivi ma voie, je le ferai entrer dans le pays où il est allé, et ses descendants le posséderont.
24 Ach tá malairt spioraid i mo shearbhónta Cálaeb. De bhrí go ndearna sé rud orm go beacht, tabharfaidh mé isteach é sa tír ina ndeachaigh sé agus beidh seilbh ag a shliocht air.
24 Empero mi siervo Caleb, por cuanto hubo en él otro espíritu, y cumplió de ir en pos de mi, yo le meteré en la tierra donde entró y su simiente la recibirá en heredad.
24 Aber meinen Knecht Kaleb, darum daß ein anderer Geist mit ihm ist und er mir treulich nachgefolgt ist, den will ich in das Land bringen, darein er gekommen ist, und sein Same soll es einnehmen,
25 Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites are in the valley; tomorrow, turning round, go into the waste land by the way to the Red Sea.
25 Les Amalécites et les Cananéens habitent la vallée: demain, tournez-vous, et partez pour le désert, dans la direction de la mer Rouge.
25 [Tá an tAmailéiceach agus an Canánach ag cur fúthu sa mhachaire]. Casaigí ar bhur sáil amárach agus filligí ar ais ar an bhfásach i dtreo na Mara Súf.”
25 Ahora bien, el Amalecita y el Cananeo habitan en el valle; volveos mañana, y partíos al desierto, camino del mar Bermejo.
25 dazu die Amalekiter und Kanaaniter, die im Tale wohnen. Morgen wendet euch und ziehet in die Wüste auf dem Wege zum Schilfmeer.
26 Then the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,
26 L'Éternel parla à Moïse et à Aaron, et dit:
26 Labhair an Tiarna le Maois agus le hÁrón:
26 Y Jehová habló á Moisés y á Aarón, diciendo:
26 Und der HERR redete mit Mose und Aaron und sprach:
27 How long am I to put up with this evil people and their outcries against me? The words which they say against me have come to my ears.
27 Jusqu'à quand laisserai-je cette méchante assemblée murmurer contre moi? J'ai entendu les murmures des enfants d'Israël qui murmuraient contre moi.
27 “An fada a bheidh an mhuintir chlaon seo ag monabhar i m'aghaidh? Chuala mé na gearáin atá á ndéanamh ag clann Iosrael i m'aghaidh.
27 ¿Hasta cuándo oiré esta depravada multitud que murmura contra mí, las querellas de los hijos de Israel, que de mí se quejan?
27 Wie lange murrt diese böse Gemeinde wider mich? Denn ich habe das Murren der Kinder Israel, das sie wider mich gemurrt haben, gehört.
28 Say to them, By my life, says the Lord, as certainly as your words have come to my ears, so certainly will I do this to you:
28 Dis-leur: Je suis vivant! dit l'Éternel, je vous ferai ainsi que vous avez parlé à mes oreilles.
28 Abair leo: ‘Dar mo bheo - sé an Tiarna atá ag caint - tabharfaidh mé íde oraibh díreach de réir na bhfocal a dúirt sibh i mo láthair.
28 Diles: Vivo yo, dice Jehová, que según habéis hablado á mis oídos, así haré yo con vosotros:
28 Darum sprich zu ihnen: So wahr ich lebe, spricht der HERR, ich will euch tun, wie ihr vor meinen Ohren gesagt habt.
29 Your dead bodies will be stretched out in this waste land; and of all your number, all those of twenty years old and over who have been crying out against me,
29 Vos cadavres tomberont dans ce désert. Vous tous, dont on a fait le dénombrement, en vous comptant depuis l'âge de vingt ans et au-dessus, et qui avez murmuré contre moi,
29 Titfidh bhur gconablaigh san fhásach seo; sea de líon bhur bhfear go léir a áiríodh sa daonáireamh ó aois fiche bliain agus breis, a rinne gearán i m'aghaidh,
29 En este desierto caerán vuestros cuerpos; todos vuestros contados según toda vuestra cuenta, de veinte años arriba, los cuales habéis murmurado contra mí;
29 Eure Leiber sollen in dieser Wüste verfallen; und alle, die ihr gezählt seid von zwanzig Jahren und darüber, die ihr wider mich gemurrt habt,
30 Not one will come into the land which I gave my word you would have for your resting-place, but only Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua, the son of Nun.
30 vous n'entrerez point dans le pays que j'avais juré de vous faire habiter, excepté Caleb, fils de Jephunné, et Josué, fils de Nun.
30 mionnaim nach rachaidh duine isteach sa tír a mhionnaigh mé a thabharfainn mar áitreabh daoibh,
30 Vosotros á la verdad no entraréis en la tierra, por la cual alcé mi mano de haceros habitar en ella; exceptuando á Caleb hijo de Jephone, y á Josué hijo de Nun.
30 sollt nicht in das Land kommen, darüber ich meine Hand gehoben habe, daß ich euch darin wohnen ließe, außer Kaleb, dem Sohn Jephunnes, und Josua, dem Sohn Nuns.
31 And your little ones, whom you said would come into strange hands, I will take in, and they will see the land which you would not have.
31 Et vos petits enfants, dont vous avez dit: Ils deviendront une proie! je les y ferai entrer, et ils connaîtront le pays que vous avez dédaigné.
31 ach Cálaeb mac Iafuna agus Iósua mac Nún.
31 Mas vuestros chiquitos, de los cuales dijisteis que serían por presa, yo los introduciré, y ellos conocerán la tierra que vosotros despreciasteis.
31 Eure Kinder, von denen ihr sagtet: Sie werden ein Raub sein, die will ich hineinbringen, daß sie erkennen sollen das Land, das ihr verwerft.
32 But as for you, your dead bodies will be stretched in this waste land.
32 Vos cadavres, à vous, tomberont dans le désert;
32 Agus bhur leanaí a dúirt sibh a d'fhuadófaí mar chreach, tabharfaidh mé isteach iad chun aithne a chur ar an talamh ba bheag oraibhse.
32 Y en cuanto á vosotros, vuestros cuerpos caerán en este desierto.
32 Aber ihr samt euren Leibern sollt in dieser Wüste verfallen.
33 And your children will be wanderers in the waste land for forty years, undergoing punishment for your false ways, till your bodies become dust in the waste land.
33 et vos enfants paîtront quarante années dans le désert, et porteront la peine de vos infidélités, jusqu'à ce que vos cadavres soient tous tombés dans le désert.
33 Ach maidir libhse, titfidh bhur gconablaigh san fhásach seo agus beidh bhur gclann ina n‑aoirí san fhásach ar feadh daichead bliain, ag iompar ualach bhur mídhílseachta go sínfear an duine deireanach díbh marbh san fhásach.
33 Y vuestros hijos andarán pastoreando en el desierto cuarenta años, y ellos llevarán vuestras fornicaciones, hasta que vuestros cuerpos sean consumidos en el desierto.
33 Und eure Kinder sollen Hirten sein in dieser Wüste vierzig Jahre und eure Untreue tragen, bis daß eure Leiber aufgerieben werden in der Wüste,
34 And as you went through the land viewing it for forty days, so for forty years, a year for every day, you will undergo punishment for your wrongdoing, and you will see that I am against you.
34 De même que vous avez mis quarante jours à explorer le pays, vous porterez la peine de vos iniquités quarante années, une année pour chaque jour; et vous saurez ce que c'est que d'être privé de ma présence.
34 Ar feadh daichead lá bhí an tír á bhrath agaibh; seasóidh gach lá do bhliain; ar feadh daichead bliain déanfaidh sibh ualach bhur bpeacaí a iompar agus beidh a fhios agaibh cad is brí le mé a shéanadh.’
34 Conforme al número de los días, de los cuarenta días en que reconocisteis la tierra, llevaréis vuestras iniquidades cuarenta años, un año por cada día; y conoceréis mi castigo.
34 Nach der Zahl der vierzig Tage, darin ihr das Land erkundet habt; je ein Tag soll ein Jahr gelten, daß ihr vierzig Jahre eure Missetaten tragt; auf daß ihr innewerdet, was es sei, wenn ich die Hand abziehe.
35 I the Lord have said it, and this I will certainly do to all this evil people who have come together against me: in this waste land destruction will come on them, and death will be their fate.
35 Moi, l'Éternel, j'ai parlé! et c'est ainsi que je traiterai cette méchante assemblée qui s'est réunie contre moi; ils seront consumés dans ce désert, ils y mourront.

35 Yo Jehová he hablado; así haré á toda esta multitud perversa que se ha juntado contra mí; en este desierto serán consumidos, y ahí morirán.
35 Ich, der HERR, habe es gesagt; das will ich auch tun aller dieser bösen Gemeinde, die sich wider mich empört hat. In dieser Wüste sollen sie aufgerieben werden und daselbst sterben.
36 And the men whom Moses sent to see the land, and who, by the bad account they gave of the land, were the cause of the outcry the people made against Moses,

38 But Joshua, the son of Nun, and Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, of those who went to see the land, were not touched by disease.
38 Josué, fils de Nun, et Caleb, fils de Jephunné, restèrent seuls vivants parmi ces hommes qui étaient allés pour explorer le pays.
38 Níor fágadh beo de lucht braite na tíre ach Iósua mac Nún agus Cálaeb mac Iafuna.
38 Mas Josué hijo de Nun, y Caleb hijo de Jephone, quedaron con vida de entre aquellos hombres que habían ido á reconocer la tierra.
38 Aber Josua, der Sohn Nuns, und Kaleb, der Sohn Jephunnes, blieben lebendig aus den Männern, die gegangen waren, das Land zu erkunden.
39 And when Moses put these words before the children of Israel, the people were full of grief.
39 Moïse rapporta ces choses à tous les enfants d'Israël, et le peuple fut dans une grande désolation.

40 And early in the morning they got up and went to the top of the mountain, saying, We are here and we will go up to the place which the Lord said he would give us: for we have done wrong.
40 Ils se levèrent de bon matin, et montèrent au sommet de la montagne, en disant: Nous voici! nous monterons au lieu dont a parlé l'Éternel, car nous avons péché.
40 Ansin d'éiríodar go moch agus chuireadar chun bealaigh i dtreo arda na sléibhte á rá: “Seo anseo sinn, cuirimís chun bealaigh i dtreo na háite sin ó dúirt an Tiarna linn gur pheacaíomar.”
40 Y levantáronse por la mañana, y subieron á la cumbre del monte, diciendo: Henos aquí para subir al lugar del cual ha hablado Jehová; porque hemos pecado.
40 und sie machten sich des Morgens früh auf und zogen auf die Höhe des Gebirges und sprachen: Hier sind wir und wollen hinaufziehen an die Stätte, davon der HERR gesagt hat; denn wir haben gesündigt.
41 And Moses said, Why are you now acting against the Lord's order, seeing that no good will come of it?
41 Moïse dit: Pourquoi transgressez-vous l'ordre de l'Éternel? Cela ne réussira point.
41 D'fhreagair Maois: “Cad ab áil libh ag diúltú d'ordú an Tiarna? Ní bheidh aon ní agaibh dá thairbhe.
41 Y dijo Moisés: ¿Por qué quebrantáis el dicho de Jehová? Esto tampoco os sucederá bien.
41 Mose aber sprach: Warum übertretet ihr also das Wort des HERRN? Es wird euch nicht gelingen.
42 Go not up, for the Lord is not with you, and you will be overcome by those who are fighting against you.
42 Ne montez pas! car l'Éternel n'est pas au milieu de vous. Ne vous faites pas battre par vos ennemis.
42 Ná gabhaigí suas mar níl an Tiarna in bhur gcoimhdeacht, agus ná scriosadh bhur naimhde sibh.
42 No subáis, porque Jehová no está en medio de vosotros, no seáis heridos delante de vuestros enemigos.
42 Ziehet nicht hinauf, denn der HERR ist nicht unter Euch, daß ihr nicht geschlagen werdet vor euren Feinden.
43 For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and you will be put to death by their swords: because you have gone back from the way of the Lord, the Lord will not be with you.
43 Car les Amalécites et les Cananéens sont là devant vous, et vous tomberez par l'épée. Parce que vous vous êtes détournés de l'Éternel, l'Éternel ne sera point avec vous.
43 Sin é an tAmailéiceach agus an Canánach os bhur gcoinne agus titfidh sibh de rinn a gclaímh mar gur thug sibh droim le lorg an Tiarna agus níl an Tiarna in bhur gcoimhdeacht.”
43 Porque el Amalecita y el Cananeo están allí delante de vosotros, y caeréis á cuchillo: pues por cuanto os habéis retraído de seguir á Jehová, por eso no será Jehová con vosotros.
43 Denn die Amalekiter und Kanaaniter sind vor euch daselbst, und ihr werdet durchs Schwert fallen, darum daß ihr euch vom HERRN gekehrt habt, und der HERR wird nicht mit euch sein.
44 But they gave no attention to his words and went to the top of the mountain, though Moses and the ark of the Lord's agreement did not go out of the tent-circle.
44 Ils s'obstinèrent à monter au sommet de la montagne; mais l'arche de l'alliance et Moïse ne sortirent point du milieu du camp.

44 Sin embargo, se obstinaron en subir á la cima del monte: mas el arca de la alianza de Jehová, y Moisés, no se apartaron de en medio del campo.
44 Aber sie waren störrig, hinaufzuziehen auf die Höhe des Gebirges; aber die Lade des Bundes des HERRN und Mose kamen nicht aus dem Lager.
45 Then the Amalekites came down, and the Canaanites who were living in the hill-country, and overcame them completely, driving them back as far as Hormah.
45 Alors descendirent les Amalécites et les Cananéens qui habitaient cette montagne; ils les battirent, et les taillèrent en pièces jusqu'à Horma.
