1 And the Lord said to Moses,

2 Say to the children of Israel, I am the Lord your God.
2 Parle aux enfants d'Israël, et tu leur diras: Je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu.
2 “Labhair le clann Iosrael agus abair leo: Mise an Tiarna bhur nDia.
2 Habla á los hijos de Israel, y diles: Yo soy Jehová vuestro Dios.
2 Rede mit den Kindern Israel und sprich zu ihnen: Ich bin der HERR, euer Gott.
3 You may not do those things which were done in the land of Egypt where you were living; and you may not do those things which are done in the land of Canaan where I am taking you, or be guided in your behaviour by their rules.
3 Vous ne ferez point ce qui se fait dans le pays d'Égypte où vous avez habité, et vous ne ferez point ce qui se fait dans le pays de Canaan où je vous mène: vous ne suivrez point leurs usages.
3 Ná déanaigí amhail dhéanann siad san Éigipt mar a raibh cónaí oraibh tráth; ná déanaigí amhail dhéanann siad i gCanán mar a bhfuil mé do bhur dtabhairt. Ná géilligí dá ndlíthe.
3 No haréis como hacen en la tierra de Egipto, en la cual morasteis; ni haréis como hacen en la tierra de Canaán, á la cual yo os conduzco; ni andaréis en sus estatutos.
3 Ihr sollt nicht tun nach den Werken des Landes Ägypten, darin ihr gewohnt habt, auch nicht nach den Werken des Landes Kanaan, darein ich euch führen will; ihr sollt auch nach ihrer Weise nicht halten;
4 But you are to be guided by my decisions and keep my rules, and be guided by them: I am the Lord your God.
4 Vous pratiquerez mes ordonnances, et vous observerez mes lois: vous les suivrez. Je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu.
4 Géilligí do mo reachtanna agus coimeádaigí mo dhlíthe, agus mairigí dá réir. Mise an Tiarna bhur nDia.
4 Mis derechos pondréis por obra, y mis estatutos guardaréis, andando en ellos: Yo Jehová vuestro Dios.
4 sondern nach meinen Rechten sollt ihr tun, und meine Satzungen sollt ihr halten, daß ihr darin wandelt; denn ich bin der HERR, euer Gott.
5 So keep my rules and my decisions, which, if a man does them, will be life to him: I am the Lord.
5 Vous observerez mes lois et mes ordonnances: l'homme qui les mettra en pratique vivra par elles. Je suis l'Éternel.
5 Coimeádaigí mo dhlíthe agus mo reachtanna. An té a leanann iad, beidh an bheatha aige iontu. Mise an Tiarna.
5 Por tanto mis estatutos y mis derechos guardaréis, los cuales haciendo el hombre, vivirá en ellos: Yo Jehová.
5 Darum sollt ihr meine Satzungen halten und meine Rechte. Denn welcher Mensch dieselben tut, der wird dadurch leben; denn ich bin der HERR.
6 You may not have sex connection with anyone who is a near relation: I am the Lord.
6 Nul de vous ne s'approchera de sa parente, pour découvrir sa nudité. Je suis l'Éternel.
6 Ní ceadmhach d'aon duine agaibh druidim le bean gharghaoil leis an bhfolach a bhaint dá nochtacht. Mise an Tiarna.
6 Ningún varón se allegue á ninguna cercana de su carne, para descubrir su desnudez: Yo Jehová.
6 Niemand soll sich zu seiner nächsten Blutsfreundin tun, ihre Blöße aufzudecken; denn ich bin der HERR.
7 You may not have sex relations with your father or your mother: she is your mother, you may not take her.
7 Tu ne découvriras point la nudité de ton père, ni la nudité de ta mère. C'est ta mère: tu ne découvriras point sa nudité.
7 Ná bain an folach de nochtacht d'athar, nochtacht do mháthar is é sin; sí do mháthair í, ná bain an folach dá nochtacht.
7 La desnudez de tu padre, ó la desnudez de tu madre, no descubrirás: tu madre es, no descubrirás su desnudez.

8 And you may not have sex relations with your father's wife: she is your father's.

10 You may not have sex relations with your son's daughter or your daughter's daughter, for they are part of yourself;
10 Tu ne découvriras point la nudité de la fille de ton fils ou de la fille de ta fille. Car c'est ta nudité.
10 Ná bain an folach de nochtacht iníon do mhic ná d'iníne; sí do nochtacht féin a nochtachtsan.

11 Or your father's wife's daughter, the child of your father, for she is your sister.

15 Or with your daughter-in-law, for she is your son's wife, and you may not take her.
15 Tu ne découvriras point la nudité de ta belle-fille. C'est la femme de ton fils: tu ne découvriras point sa nudité.

16 You may not have sex relations with your brother's wife, for she is your brother's.

17 You may not take as wife a woman and her daughter, or her son's daughter or her daughter's daughter, for they are of one family: it is an act of shame.
17 Tu ne découvriras point la nudité d'une femme et de sa fille. Tu ne prendras point la fille de son fils, ni la fille de sa fille, pour découvrir leur nudité. Ce sont tes proches parentes: c'est un crime.
17 Ná bain an folach de nochtacht mná agus a hiníne chomh maith; ná beir leat iníon a mic ná a hiníne chun an folach a bhaint dá nochtacht. Siad d'fheoil féin iad; ba chorbadh sin.
17 La desnudez de la mujer y de su hija no descubrirás: no tomarás la hija de su hijo, ni la hija de su hija, para descubrir su desnudez: son parientas, es maldad.
17 Du sollst eines Weibes samt ihrer Tochter Blöße nicht aufdecken noch ihres Sohnes Tochter oder ihrer Tochter Tochter nehmen, ihre Blöße aufzudecken; denn sie sind ihre nächsten Blutsfreundinnen, und es ist ein Frevel.
18 And you may not take as wife a woman and at the same time her sister, to be in competition with her in her life-time.
18 Tu ne prendras point la soeur de ta femme, pour exciter une rivalité, en découvrant sa nudité à côté de ta femme pendant sa vie.

18 No tomarás mujer juntamente con su hermana, para hacerla su rival, descubriendo su desnudez delante de ella en su vida.
18 Du sollst auch deines Weibes Schwester nicht nehmen neben ihr, ihre Blöße aufzudecken, ihr zuwider, solange sie noch lebt.
19 And you may not go near a woman or have sex relations with her when she is unclean, at her regular time.
19 Tu ne t'approcheras point d'une femme pendant son impureté menstruelle, pour découvrir sa nudité.
19 Ná druid le bean chun luí léi agus í neamhghlan de bharr a cúrsaí míosa.
19 Y no llegarás á la mujer en el apartamiento de su inmundicia, para descubrir su desnudez.
19 Du sollst nicht zum Weibe gehen, solange sie ihre Krankheit hat, in ihrer Unreinigkeit ihre Blöße aufzudecken.
20 And you may not have sex relations with your neighbour's wife, making yourself unclean with her.
20 Tu n'auras point commerce avec la femme de ton prochain, pour te souiller avec elle.
20 Ná luigh go collaí le bean do chomharsan; d'fhágfadh sin neamhghlan thú.
20 Además, no tendrás acto carnal con la mujer de tu prójimo, contaminándote en ella.
20 Du sollst auch nicht bei deines Nächsten Weibe liegen, dadurch du dich an ihr verunreinigst.
21 And you may not make any of your children go through the fire as an offering to Molech, and you may not put shame on the name of your God: I am the Lord.
21 Tu ne livreras aucun de tes enfants pour le faire passer à Moloc, et tu ne profaneras point le nom de ton Dieu. Je suis l'Éternel.
21 Ná lig aon duine de do chlann a thíolacadh trí thine do Mhoilic, agus ainm do Dhé a thruailliú ar an gcuma sin. Mise an Tiarna.
21 Y no des de tu simiente para hacerla pasar por el fuego á Moloch; no contamines el nombre de tu Dios: Yo Jehová.
21 Du sollst auch nicht eines deiner Kinder dahingeben, daß es dem Moloch verbrannt werde, daß du nicht entheiligst den Namen deines Gottes; denn ich bin der HERR.
22 You may not have sex relations with men, as you do with women: it is a disgusting thing.
22 Tu ne coucheras point avec un homme comme on couche avec une femme. C'est une abomination.
22 Ná luigh le fear mar a dhéanfá le bean; tá sin gráiniúil.
22 No te echarás con varón como con mujer: es abominación.
22 Du sollst nicht beim Knaben liegen wie beim Weibe; denn es ist ein Greuel.
23 And you may not have sex relations with a beast, making yourself unclean with it; and a woman may not give herself to a beast: it is an unnatural act.
23 Tu ne coucheras point avec une bête, pour te souiller avec elle. La femme ne s'approchera point d'une bête, pour se prostituer à elle. C'est une confusion.
23 Ná luigh le haon ainmhí; d'fhágfadh sin neamhghlan thú. Ná fanadh bean le hainmhí chun luí leis. Ba bhréan an beart é.
23 Ni con ningún animal tendrás ayuntamiento amancillándote con él; ni mujer alguna se pondrá delante de animal para ayuntarse con él: es confusión.
23 Du sollst auch bei keinem Tier liegen, daß du mit ihm verunreinigt werdest. Und kein Weib soll mit einem Tier zu schaffen haben; denn es ist ein Greuel.
24 Do not make yourself unclean in any of these ways; for so have those nations whom I am driving out from before you made themselves unclean:
24 Ne vous souillez par aucune de ces choses, car c'est par toutes ces choses que se sont souillées les nations que je vais chasser devant vous.
24 Ná déanaigí sibh féin a thruailliú le haon nós díobh sin, óir na ciníocha a dhíbir mé chun slí a thabhairt daoibh, is leosan a rinneadar iad féin a thruailliú.
24 En ninguna de estas cosas os amancillaréis; porque en todas estas cosas se han ensuciado las gentes que yo echo de delante de vosotros:
24 Ihr sollt euch in dieser keinem verunreinigen; denn in diesem allem haben sich verunreinigt die Heiden, die ich vor euch her will ausstoßen,
25 And the land itself has become unclean; so that I have sent on it the reward of its wrongdoing, and the land itself puts out those who are living in it.
25 Le pays en a été souillé; je punirai son iniquité, et le pays vomira ses habitants.
25 Truaillíodh an talamh; d'agair mé a choir air agus níorbh fholáir dó a dhúchasaigh a sceith de.
25 Y la tierra fue contaminada; y yo visité su maldad sobre ella, y la tierra vomitó sus moradores.
25 und das Land ist dadurch verunreinigt. Und ich will ihre Missetat an ihnen heimsuchen, daß das Land seine Einwohner ausspeie.
26 So then keep my rules and my decisions, and do not do any of these disgusting things, those of you who are Israelites by birth, or any others who are living with you:
26 Vous observerez donc mes lois et mes ordonnances, et vous ne commettrez aucune de ces abominations, ni l'indigène, ni l'étranger qui séjourne au milieu de vous.
26 Ach coinnigí mo reachtanna agus mo dhlíthe agus ná déanaigí - idir dhúchasach agus dheoraí ag cur faoi in bhur measc - aon cheann de na nithe gráiniúla sin.
26 Guardad, pues, vosotros mis estatutos y mis derechos, y no hagáis ninguna de todas estas abominaciones: ni el natural ni el extranjero que peregrina entre vosotros.
26 Darum haltet meine Satzungen und Rechte, und tut dieser Greuel keine, weder der Einheimische noch der Fremdling unter euch;
27 (For all these disgusting things were done by the men of this country who were there before you, and the land has been made unclean by them;)
27 Car ce sont là toutes les abominations qu'ont commises les hommes du pays, qui y ont été avant vous; et le pays en a été souillé.
27 Óir rinne an mhuintir a mhair sa tír romhaibhse na nithe gráiniúla sin go léir, agus truaillíodh an talamh.
27 (Porque todas estas abominaciones hicieron los hombres de la tierra, que fueron antes de vosotros, y la tierra fue contaminada:)
27 denn alle solche Greuel haben die Leute dieses Landes getan, die vor euch waren, und haben das Land verunreinigt;
28 So that the land may not put you out from it, when you make it unclean, as it put out the nations which were there before you.
28 Prenez garde que le pays ne vous vomisse, si vous le souillez, comme il aura vomi les nations qui y étaient avant vous.
28 Má thruaillíonn sibhse é, nach ndéanfaidh sé sibh a sceith de mar a rinne leis an gcine a bhí ann romhaibh?
28 Y la tierra no os vomitará, por haberla contaminado, como vomitó á la gente que fué antes de vosotros.
28 auf daß euch nicht auch das Land ausspeie, wenn ihr es verunreinigt, gleich wie es die Heiden hat ausgespieen, die vor euch waren.
29 For all those who do any of these disgusting things will be cut off from among their people.
29 Car tous ceux qui commettront quelqu'une de ces abominations seront retranchés du milieu de leur peuple.
29 Óir aon duine a dhéanann rud gráiniúil díobh sin, is cuma céard é, aon duine a dhéanann a leithéid, ní foláir é a ionnarbadh óna phobal.
29 Porque cualquiera que hiciere alguna de todas estas abominaciones, las personas que las hicieren, serán cortadas de entre su pueblo.
29 Denn welche diese Greuel tun, deren Seelen sollen ausgerottet werden von ihrem Volk.
30 So then, keep my orders, so that you may not do any of these disgusting things which were done before you, or make yourselves unclean through them: I am the Lord your God.
30 Vous observerez mes commandements, et vous ne pratiquerez aucun des usages abominables qui se pratiquaient avant vous, vous ne vous en souillerez pas. Je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu.
