1 And the Lord said to Moses, Go forward from this place, you and the people whom you have taken up out of the land of Egypt, to that land about which I made an oath to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, To your seed will I give it.
1 L'Éternel dit à Moïse: Va, pars d'ici, toi et le peuple que tu as fait sortir du pays d'Égypte; monte vers le pays que j'ai juré de donner à Abraham, à Isaac et à Jacob, en disant: Je le donnerai à ta postérité.
1 Dúirt an Tiarna le Maois: “Fág an áit seo; imigh leat, tú féin agus an pobal a thug tú amach as tír na hÉigipte, agus téigh chun na tíre a mhionnaigh mé d'Abrahám, d'Íosác agus do Iacób leis na focail: ‘Tabharfaidh mé do do shíol é.’
1 Y Jehova dijo á Moisés: Ve, sube de aquí, tú y el pueblo que sacaste de la tierra de Egipto, á la tierra de la cual juré á Abraham, Isaac, y Jacob, diciendo: A tu simiente la daré:
1 Der HERR sprach zu Mose: Gehe, ziehe von dannen, du und das Volk, das du aus Ägyptenland geführt hast, in das Land, das ich Abraham, Isaak und Jakob geschworen habe und gesagt: Deinem Samen will ich's geben;
2 And I will send an angel before you, driving out the Canaanite and the Amorite and the Hittite and the Perizzite and the Hivite and the Jebusite:
2 J'enverrai devant toi un ange, et je chasserai les Cananéens, les Amoréens, les Héthiens, les Phéréziens, les Héviens et les Jébusiens.
2 Agus seolfaidh mé aingeal romhat, agus tiomáinfidh mé amach na Canánaigh, na hAmóraigh, na Hitigh, na Pirizigh, na Hivigh, agus na Iabúsaigh.
2 Y yo enviaré delante de ti el ángel, y echaré fuera al Cananeo y al Amorrheo, y al Hetheo, y al Pherezeo, y al Heveo y al Jebuseo:
2 und ich will vor dir her senden einen Engel und ausstoßen die Kanaaniter, Amoriter, Hethiter, Pheresiter, Heviter und Jebusiter,
3 Go up to that land flowing with milk and honey; but I will not go up among you, for you are a stiff-necked people, for fear that I send destruction on you while you are on the way.
3 Monte vers ce pays où coulent le lait et le miel. Mais je ne monterai point au milieu de toi, de peur que je ne te consume en chemin, car tu es un peuple au cou roide.
3 Ar aghaidh leat chun na tíre mar a bhfuil bainne agus mil ina slaoda. Ní rachaidh mise féin in éineacht libh - óir is ceanndána an pobal sibh - le heagla go scriosfainn sibh ar an mbealach.”
3 (A la tierra que fluye leche y miel); porque yo no subiré en medio de ti, porque eres pueblo de dura cerviz, no sea que te consuma en el camino.
3 dich zu bringen in das Land, darin Milch und Honig fließt. Ich will nicht mit dir hinaufziehen, denn du bist ein halsstarriges Volk; ich möchte dich unterwegs vertilgen.
4 Hearing this bad news the people were full of grief, and no one put on his ornaments.
4 Lorsque le peuple eut entendu ces sinistres paroles, il fut dans la désolation, et personne ne mit ses ornements.
4 Ar chlos na cainte boirbe sin, rinne an pobal caoineadh, agus ní chaithfeadh aon duine a chuid ornáidí.
4 Y oyendo el pueblo esta sensible palabra, vistieron luto, y ninguno se puso sus atavíos:
4 Da das Volk diese böse Rede hörte, trugen sie Leid, und niemand trug seinen Schmuck an sich.
5 And the Lord said to Moses, Say to the children of Israel, You are a stiff-necked people: if I come among you, even for a minute, I will send destruction on you; so take off all your ornaments, so that I may see what to do with you.
5 Et l'Éternel dit à Moïse: Dis aux enfants d'Israël: Vous êtes un peuple au cou roide; si je montais un seul instant au milieu de toi, je te consumerais. Ote maintenant tes ornements de dessus toi, et je verrai ce que je te ferai.
5 Ansin dúirt an Tiarna le Maois: “Abair le clann Iosrael: ‘Is ceanndána an pobal sibh. Dá mbeinn ag dul in éineacht libh fiú nóiméad, scriosfainn sibh. Cuir uait d'ornáidí dá bhrí sin go bhfeice mé conas déileáil leat!’ ”
5 Pues Jehová dijo á Moisés: Di á los hijos de Israel: Vosotros sois pueblo de dura cerviz: en un momento subiré en medio de ti, y te consumiré: quítate pues ahora tus atavíos, que yo sabré lo que te tengo de hacer.
5 Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Sage zu den Kindern Israel: Ihr seid ein halsstarriges Volk. Wo ich nur einen Augenblick mit dir hinaufzöge, würde ich dich vertilgen. Und nun lege deinen Schmuck von dir, daß ich wisse, was ich dir tun soll.
6 So the children of Israel took off their ornaments at Mount Horeb, and did not put them on again.
6 Les enfants d'Israël se dépouillèrent de leurs ornements, en s'éloignant du mont Horeb.
6 Ó Shliabh Horaeb ar aghaidh dá bhrí sin, chuir clann Iosrael uathu a n‑ornáidí. An Bhoth
6 Entonces los hijos de Israel se despojaron de sus atavíos desde el monte Horeb.
6 Also taten die Kinder Israel ihren Schmuck von sich vor dem Berge Horeb.
7 Now it was Moses' way to put up the Tent of meeting outside the tent-circle, at some distance away; giving it the name of The Tent of meeting. And everyone desiring to make his prayer to the Lord went to the Tent of meeting outside the tent-circle.
7 Moïse prit la tente et la dressa hors du camp, à quelque distance; il l'appela tente d'assignation; et tous ceux qui consultaient l'Éternel allaient vers la tente d'assignation, qui était hors du camp.

7 Y Moisés tomó el tabernáculo, y extendiólo fuera del campo, lejos del campo, y llamólo el Tabernáculo del Testimonio. Y fué, que cualquiera que requería á Jehová, salía al tabernáculo del testimonio, que estaba fuera del campo.
7 Mose aber nahm die Hütte und schlug sie auf draußen, ferne vom Lager, und hieß sie eine Hütte des Stifts. Und wer den HERRN fragen wollte, mußte herausgehen zur Hütte des Stifts vor das Lager.
8 And whenever Moses went out to the Tent of meeting, all the people got up and everyone went to the door of his tent, looking after Moses till he went inside the Tent.
8 Lorsque Moïse se rendait à la tente, tout le peuple se levait; chacun se tenait à l'entrée de sa tente, et suivait des yeux Moïse, jusqu'à ce qu'il fût entré dans la tente.
8 Cibé uair a théadh Maois amach chun na Botha, d'éiríodh an pobal go léir, agus sheasadh gach fear ag béal a bhotha agus a shúile ar Mhaois go dtí go sroicheadh sé an Bhoth.
8 Y sucedía que, cuando salía Moisés al tabernáculo, todo el pueblo se levantaba, y estaba cada cual en pie á la puerta de su tienda, y miraban en pos de Moisés, hasta que él entraba en el tabernáculo.
8 Und wenn Mose ausging zur Hütte so stand alles Volk auf und trat ein jeglicher in seiner Hütte Tür und sahen ihm nach, bis er in die Hütte kam.
9 And whenever Moses went into the Tent, the pillar of cloud came down, and took its place by the door of the Tent, as long as the Lord was talking with Moses.
9 Et lorsque Moïse était entré dans la tente, la colonne de nuée descendait et s'arrêtait à l'entrée de la tente, et l'Éternel parlait avec Moïse.
9 Nuair a théadh Maois isteach sa Bhoth, thagadh an colún néil anuas agus sheasadh ag doras na Botha, agus labhraíodh an Tiarna le Maois.
9 Y cuando Moisés entraba en el tabernáculo, la columna de nube descendía, y poníase á la puerta del tabernáculo, y Jehová hablaba con Moisés.
9 Und wenn Mose in die Hütte kam, so kam die Wolkensäule hernieder und stand in der Hütte Tür und redete mit Mose.
10 And all the people saw the cloud at the door of the Tent, and they went down on their faces, everyone at the door of his tent.
10 Tout le peuple voyait la colonne de nuée qui s'arrêtait à l'entrée de la tente, tout le peuple se levait et se prosternait à l'entrée de sa tente.
10 Nuair a d'fheiceadh an pobal an colún néil ina sheasamh ag doras na Botha, d'éiridís ina seasamh agus shléachtaidís go talamh, gach fear ag béal a bhotha féin.
10 Y viendo todo el pueblo la columna de nube, que estaba á la puerta del tabernáculo, levantábase todo el pueblo, cada uno á la puerta de su tienda y adoraba.
10 Und alles Volk sah die Wolkensäule in der Hütte Tür stehen, und standen auf und neigten sich, ein jeglicher in seiner Hütte Tür.
11 And the Lord had talk with Moses face to face, as a man may have talk with his friend. And when Moses came back to the tents, his servant, the young man Joshua, the son of Nun, did not come away from the Tent.
11 L'Éternel parlait avec Moïse face à face, comme un homme parle à son ami. Puis Moïse retournait au camp; mais son jeune serviteur, Josué, fils de Nun, ne sortait pas du milieu de la tente.
11 Labhraíodh an Tiarna le Maois aghaidh ar aghaidh, mar a dhéanann fear le cara. Ansin d'fhilleadh Maois ar an gcampa, ach Iósua, mac Húr, a shearbhónta ógfhir, ní fhágadh sé an Bhoth. Maois ag Guí
11 Y hablaba Jehová á Moisés cara á cara, como habla cualquiera á su compañero. Y volvíase al campo; mas el joven Josué, su criado, hijo de Nun, nunca se apartaba de en medio del tabernáculo.
11 Der HERR aber redete mit Mose von Angesicht zu Angesicht, wie ein Mann mit seinem Freunde redet. Und wenn er wiederkehrte zum Lager, so wich sein Diener Josua, der Sohn Nuns, der Jüngling, nicht aus der Hütte.
12 And Moses said to the Lord, See, you say to me, Be this people's guide on their journey, but you have not made clear to me whom you will send with me. But you have said, I have knowledge of you by name, and you have grace in my eyes.
12 Moïse dit à l'Éternel: Voici, tu me dis: Fais monter ce peuple! Et tu ne me fais pas connaître qui tu enverras avec moi. Cependant, tu as dit: Je te connais par ton nom, et tu as trouvé grâce à mes yeux.
12 Dúirt Maois leis an Tiarna: “Féach, deir tú liom: ‘Cuir an pobal ag bogadh ar aghaidh,’ ach ní insíonn tú dom cé a chuirfidh tú in éineacht liom. Dúirt tú féin más ea: ‘Is aithnid dom thú ó ainm, agus fuair tú fabhar i mo láthair.’
12 Y dijo Moisés á Jehová: Mira, tú me dices á mí: Saca este pueblo: y tú no me has declarado á quién has de enviar conmigo: sin embargo, tú dices: Yo te he conocido por tu nombre, y has hallado también gracia en mis ojos.
12 Und Mose sprach zu dem HERRN: Siehe, du sprichst zu mir: Führe das Volk hinauf! und läßt mich nicht wissen, wen du mit mir senden willst, so du doch gesagt hast: Ich kenne dich mit Namen, und du hast Gnade vor meinen Augen gefunden.
13 If then I have grace in your eyes, let me see your ways, so that I may have knowledge of you and be certain of your grace; and my prayer is that you will keep in mind that this nation is your people.
13 Maintenant, si j'ai trouvé grâce à tes yeux, fais-moi connaître tes voies; alors je te connaîtrai, et je trouverai encore grâce à tes yeux. Considère que cette nation est ton peuple.
13 Uime sin, má fuair mé fabhar i do láthair, nocht dom do bhealaí d'fhonn go dtuigfinn thú agus go dtuillfinn do ghnaoi. Cuimhnigh air chomh maith, gurab é an cine seo do phobal féin.”
13 Ahora, pues, si he hallado gracia en tus ojos, ruégote que me muestres ahora tu camino, para que te conozca, porque halle gracia en tus ojos: y mira que tu pueblo es aquesta gente.
13 Habe ich denn Gnade vor deinen Augen gefunden, so laß mich deinen Weg wissen, damit ich dich kenne und Gnade vor deinen Augen finde. Und siehe doch, daß dies Volk dein Volk ist.
14 And he said, I myself will go with you and give you rest.
14 L'Éternel répondit: Je marcherai moi-même avec toi, et je te donnerai du repos.
14 D'fhreagair sé: “Rachaidh mo láithreacht in éineacht leat agus tabharfaidh mé suaimhneas duit.”
14 Y él dijo: Mi rostro irá contigo, y te haré descansar.
14 Er sprach: Mein Angesicht soll vorangehen; damit will ich dich leiten.
15 And Moses said, If you yourself are not going with us, do not send us on from here.
15 Moïse lui dit: Si tu ne marches pas toi-même avec nous, ne nous fais point partir d'ici.
15 Agus dúirt [Maois] leis: “Mura dtéann do láithreacht in éineacht liom, ná beir suas ón áit seo sinn.
15 Y él respondió: Si tu rostro no ha de ir conmigo, no nos saques de aquí.
15 Er aber sprach zu ihm: Wo nicht dein Angesicht vorangeht, so führe uns nicht von dannen hinauf.
16 For is not the fact of your going with us the sign that I and this people have grace in your eyes, so that we, that is, I and your people, are separate from all other people on the face of the earth?
16 Comment sera-t-il donc certain que j'ai trouvé grâce à tes yeux, moi et ton peuple? Ne sera-ce pas quand tu marcheras avec nous, et quand nous serons distingués, moi et ton peuple, de tous les peuples qui sont sur la face de la terre?
16 Óir conas a bheidh a fhios go bhfuair mé, mé féin agus do phobal, fabhar i do láthair, mura dtéann tú in éineacht linn? Leis seo a dhealófar sinn, mise agus do phobal, ó gach cine eile dá bhfuil ar dhroim na talún.”
16 ¿Y en qué se conocerá aquí que he hallado gracia en tus ojos, yo y tu pueblo, sino en andar tú con nosotros, y que yo y tu pueblo seamos apartados de todos los pueblos que están sobre la faz de la tierra?
16 Denn wobei soll doch erkannt werden, daß ich und dein Volk vor deinen Augen Gnade gefunden haben, außer wenn du mit uns gehst, auf daß ich und dein Volk gerühmt werden vor allem Volk, das auf dem Erdboden ist?
17 And the Lord said to Moses, I will do as you say: for you have grace in my eyes, and I have knowledge of you by your name.
17 L'Éternel dit à Moïse: Je ferai ce que tu me demandes, car tu as trouvé grâce à mes yeux, et je te connais par ton nom.
17 Agus dúirt an Tiarna le Maois: “Déanfaidh mé díreach mar a dúirt tú; óir fuair tú fabhar i mo láthair agus is aithnid dom thú ó ainm.” Maois ar an Sliabh
17 Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: También haré esto que has dicho, por cuanto has hallado gracia en mis ojos, y te he conocido por tu nombre.
17 Der HERR sprach zu Mose: Was du jetzt geredet hast, will ich auch tun; denn du hast Gnade vor meinen Augen gefunden, und ich kenne dich mit Namen.
18 And Moses said, O Lord, let me see your glory.
18 Moïse dit: Fais-moi voir ta gloire!
18 Dúirt Maois: “Taispeáin dom do ghlóir, achainím ort.”
18 El entonces dijo: Ruégote que me muestres tu gloria.
18 Er aber sprach: So laß mich deine Herrlichkeit sehen.
19 And he said, I will make all the light of my being come before you, and will make clear to you what I am; I will be kind to those to whom I will be kind, and have mercy on those on whom I will have mercy.
19 L'Éternel répondit: Je ferai passer devant toi toute ma bonté, et je proclamerai devant toi le nom de l'Éternel; je fais grâce à qui je fais grâce, et miséricorde à qui je fais miséricorde.
19 Agus d'fhreagair sé: “Seolfaidh mé mo mhaitheas go léir thar bráid os do chomhair, agus fógróidh mé m'ainm, an Tiarna, romhat; beidh mé fabhrach don té is rogha liom, agus beidh mé trócaireach don té is rogha liom.
19 Y respondióle: Yo haré pasar todo mi bien delante de tu rostro, y proclamaré el nombre de Jehová delante de ti; y tendré misericordia del que tendré misericordia, y seré clemente para con el que seré clemente.
19 Und er sprach: Ich will vor deinem Angesicht alle meine Güte vorübergehen lassen und will ausrufen des HERRN Namen vor dir. Wem ich aber gnädig bin, dem bin ich gnädig; und wes ich mich erbarme, des erbarme ich mich.
20 But it is not possible for you to see my face, for no man may see me and still go on living.
20 L'Éternel dit: Tu ne pourras pas voir ma face, car l'homme ne peut me voir et vivre.
20 Ach ní féidir duit mo ghnúis a fheiceáil,” ar sé “óir ní féidir do dhuine mé a fheiceáil agus maireachtáil dá éis sin.”
20 Dijo más: No podrás ver mi rostro: porque no me verá hombre, y vivirá.
20 Und sprach weiter: Mein Angesicht kannst du nicht sehen; denn kein Mensch wird leben, der mich sieht.
21 And the Lord said, See, there is a place near me, and you may take your place on the rock:
21 L'Éternel dit: Voici un lieu près de moi; tu te tiendras sur le rocher.
21 Agus lean air: “Seo áit taobh liom mar ar féidir duit seasamh ar an gcarraig,
21 Y dijo aún Jehová: He aquí lugar junto á mí, y tú estarás sobre la peña:
21 Und der HERR sprach weiter: Siehe, es ist ein Raum bei mir; da sollst du auf dem Fels stehen.
22 And when my glory goes by, I will put you in a hole in the rock, covering you with my hand till I have gone past:
22 Quand ma gloire passera, je te mettrai dans un creux du rocher, et je te couvrirai de ma main jusqu'à ce que j'aie passé.
22 agus fad a ghabhann mo ghlóir thar bráid, cuirfidh mé thú i scoilt den charraig agus clúdóidh mé thú le mo láimh go mbeidh mé imithe thar bráid.
22 Y será que, cuando pasare mi gloria, yo te pondré en una hendidura de la peña, y te cubriré con mi mano hasta que haya pasado:
22 Wenn denn nun meine Herrlichkeit vorübergeht, will ich dich in der Felskluft lassen stehen und meine Hand ob dir halten, bis ich vorübergehe.
23 Then I will take away my hand, and you will see my back: but my face is not to be seen.
23 Et lorsque je retournerai ma main, tu me verras par derrière, mais ma face ne pourra pas être vue.
