1 In the third month after the children of Israel went out from Egypt, on the same day, they came into the waste land of Sinai.
1 Le troisième mois après leur sortie du pays d'Égypte, les enfants d'Israël arrivèrent ce jour-là au désert de Sinaï.
1 Ar an tríú ré nua ó tháinig clann Iosrael amach ó thír na hÉigipte, an lá sin shroicheadar fásach Shíonái.
1 Al mes tercero de la salida de los hijos de Israel de la tierra de Egipto, en aquel día vinieron al desierto de Sinaí.
1 Im dritten Monat nach dem Ausgang der Kinder Israel aus Ägyptenland kamen sie dieses Tages in die Wüste Sinai.
2 And when they had gone away from Rephidim and had come into the waste land of Sinai, they put up their tents in the waste land before the mountain: there Israel put up its tents.
2 Étant partis de Rephidim, ils arrivèrent au désert de Sinaï, et ils campèrent dans le désert; Israël campa là, vis-à-vis de la montagne.
2 Chuireadar chun siúil arís ó Reifídím agus nuair a shroicheadar fásach Shíonái, shuíodar a gcampa ansiúd san fhásach os comhair an tsléibhe.
2 Porque partieron de Rephidim, y llegaron al desierto de Sinaí, y asentaron en el desierto; y acampó allí Israel delante del monte.
2 Denn sie waren ausgezogen von Raphidim und wollten in die Wüste Sinai und lagerten sich in der Wüste daselbst gegenüber dem Berge.
3 And Moses went up to God, and the voice of the Lord came to him from the mountain, saying, Say to the family of Jacob, and give word to the children of Israel:
3 Moïse monta vers Dieu: et l'Éternel l'appela du haut de la montagne, en disant: Tu parleras ainsi à la maison de Jacob, et tu diras aux enfants d'Israël:
3 Ansin chuaigh Maois suas chun Dé agus ghlaoigh an Tiarna air ón sliabh á rá: “Abair é seo le teaghlach Iacóib agus fógair é do chlann Iosrael:
3 Y Moisés subió á Dios; y Jehová lo llamó desde el monte, diciendo: Así dirás á la casa de Jacob, y denunciarás á los hijos de Israel:
3 Und Mose stieg hinauf zu Gott. Und der HERR rief ihm vom Berge und sprach: So sollst du sagen dem Hause Jakob und verkündigen den Kindern Israel:
4 You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I took you, as on eagles' wings, guiding you to myself.
4 Vous avez vu ce que j'ai fait à l'Égypte, et comment je vous ai portés sur des ailes d'aigle et amenés vers moi.
4 ‘Chonaic sibh féin a ndearna mé leis na hÉigiptigh, agus conas mar a thóg mé liom sibh ar eití iolair agus a thug mé chugam féin sibh.
4 Vosotros visteis lo que hice á los Egipcios, y cómo os tomé sobre alas de águilas, y os he traído á mí.
4 Ihr habt gesehen, was ich den Ägyptern getan habe, und wie ich euch getragen habe auf Adlerflügeln und habe euch zu mir gebracht.
5 If now you will truly give ear to my voice and keep my agreement, you will be my special property out of all the peoples: for all the earth is mine:
5 Maintenant, si vous écoutez ma voix, et si vous gardez mon alliance, vous m'appartiendrez entre tous les peuples, car toute la terre est à moi;
5 Uime sin má ghéilleann sibh do mo ghlór agus cloí le mo chonradh beidh sibhse, thar na ciníocha go léir, i mo sheilbhse ar leithrigh, óir is liomsa an domhan ar fad.
5 Ahora pues, si diereis oído á mi voz, y guardareis mi pacto, vosotros seréis mi especial tesoro sobre todos los pueblos; porque mía es toda la tierra.
5 Werdet ihr nun meiner Stimme gehorchen und meinen Bund halten, so sollt ihr mein Eigentum sein vor allen Völkern; denn die ganze Erde ist mein.
6 And you will be a kingdom of priests to me, and a holy nation. These are the words which you are to say to the children of Israel.
6 vous serez pour moi un royaume de sacrificateurs et une nation sainte. Voilà les paroles que tu diras aux enfants d'Israël.
6 Beidh sibh agamsa in bhur ríocht sagart, in bhur náisiún coisricthe.’ Sin iad na briathra a labhróidh tú le clann Iosrael.”
6 Y vosotros seréis mi reino de sacerdotes, y gente santa. Estas son las palabras que dirás á los hijos de Israel.
6 Und ihr sollt mir ein priesterlich Königreich und ein heiliges Volk sein. Das sind die Worte, die du den Kindern Israel sagen sollst.
7 And Moses came and sent for the chiefs of the people and put before them all these words which the Lord had given him orders to say.
7 Moïse vint appeler les anciens du peuple, et il mit devant eux toutes ces paroles, comme l'Éternel le lui avait ordonné.
7 D'imigh Maois leis ansin agus ghair chuige seanóirí an phobail agus chuir faoina mbráid na briathra sin go léir a d'ordaigh an Tiarna dó.
7 Entonces vino Moisés, y llamó á los ancianos del pueblo, y propuso en presencia de ellos todas estas palabras que Jehová le había mandado.
7 Mose kam und forderte die Ältesten im Volk und legte ihnen alle diese Worte vor, die der HERR geboten hatte.
8 And all the people, answering together, said, Whatever the Lord has said we will do. And Moses took back to the Lord the words of the people.
8 Le peuple tout entier répondit: Nous ferons tout ce que l'Éternel a dit. Moïse rapporta les paroles du peuple à l'Éternel.
8 Agus d'fhreagair an pobal go léir d'aonghuth: “A bhfuil ráite ag an Tiarna, comhlíonfaimid.” Agus thug Maois freagra an phobail ar ais chun an Tiarna. Ullmhaítear don Chonradh
8 Y todo el pueblo respondió á una, y dijeron: Todo lo que Jehová ha dicho haremos. Y Moisés refirió las palabras del pueblo á Jehová.
8 Und alles Volk antwortete zugleich und sprach: Alles, was der HERR geredet hat, wollen wir tun. Und Mose sagte die Rede des Volkes dem HERRN wieder.
9 And the Lord said to Moses, See, I will come to you in a thick cloud, so that what I say to you may come to the ears of the people and they may have belief in you for ever. And Moses gave the Lord word of what the people had said.
9 Et l'Éternel dit à Moïse: Voici, je viendrai vers toi dans une épaisse nuée, afin que le peuple entende quand je te parlerai, et qu'il ait toujours confiance en toi. Moïse rapporta les paroles du peuple à l'Éternel.
9 Agus dúirt an Tiarna le Maois: “Féach, táim ag dul síos chugat i scamall tiubh i dtreo go gcloisfeadh an pobal mé ag labhairt leat agus go mbeadh iontaoibh acu asat go deo” [agus thug Maois freagra an phobail ar ais chun an Tiarna].
9 Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: He aquí, yo vengo á ti en una nube espesa, para que el pueblo oiga mientras yo hablo contigo, y también para que te crean para siempre. Y Moisés denunció las palabras del pueblo á Jehová.
9 Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Siehe, ich will zu dir kommen in einer dicken Wolke, auf daß dies Volk es höre, wenn ich mit dir rede, und glaube dir ewiglich. Und Mose verkündigte dem HERRN die Rede des Volks.
10 And the Lord said to Moses, Go to the people and make them holy today and tomorrow, and let their clothing be washed.
10 Et l'Éternel dit à Moïse: Va vers le peuple; sanctifie-les aujourd'hui et demain, qu'ils lavent leurs vêtements.
10 Agus dúirt an Tiarna le Maois: “Imigh leat chun an phobail agus coisric iad inniu agus amárach, agus nídís a n‑éadaí,
10 Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Ve al pueblo, y santifícalos hoy y mañana, y laven sus vestidos;
10 Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Gehe hin zum Volk und heilige sie heute und morgen, daß sie ihre Kleider waschen
11 And by the third day let them be ready: for on the third day the Lord will come down on Mount Sinai, before the eyes of all the people.
11 Qu'ils soient prêts pour le troisième jour; car le troisième jour l'Éternel descendra, aux yeux de tout le peuple, sur la montagne de Sinaï.
11 agus bídís ullamh i gcomhair an tríú lá. Óir ar an tríú lá tiocfaidh an Tiarna anuas ar Shliabh Shíonái os comhair an phobail go léir.
11 Y estén apercibidos para el día tercero, porque al tercer día Jehová descenderá, á ojos de todo el pueblo, sobre el monte de Sinaí.
11 und bereit seien auf den dritten Tag; denn am dritten Tage wird der HERR herabfahren auf den Berg Sinai.
12 And let limits be marked out for the people round the mountain, and say to them, Take care not to go up the mountain or near the sides of it: whoever puts his foot on the mountain will certainly come to his death:
12 Tu fixeras au peuple des limites tout à l'entour, et tu diras: Gardez-vous de monter sur la montagne, ou d'en toucher le bord. Quiconque touchera la montagne sera puni de mort.
12 Déan teorainneacha an tsléibhe a rianú timpeall á rá: ‘Seachnaígí agus ná téigí faoin sliabh suas ná baint lena theorainn; aon neach a bhainfidh leis an sliabh, cuirfear chun báis é.
12 Y señalarás término al pueblo en derredor, diciendo: Guardaos, no subáis al monte, ni toquéis á su término: cualquiera que tocare el monte, de seguro morirá:
12 Und mache dem Volk ein Gehege umher und sprich zu ihnen: Hütet euch, daß ihr nicht auf den Berg steiget noch sein Ende anrührt; denn wer den Berg anrührt, soll des Todes sterben.
13 He is not to be touched by a hand, but is to be stoned or have an arrow put through him; man or beast, he is to be put to death: at the long sounding of a horn they may come up to the mountain.
13 On ne mettra pas la main sur lui, mais on le lapidera, ou on le percera de flèches: animal ou homme, il ne vivra point. Quand la trompette sonnera, ils s'avanceront près de la montagne.
13 Ní leagfar lámh air ach gabhfar de chlocha ann, nó déanfar é a lámhach; ní fhágfar beo é, bíodh sé ina dhuine nó ina ainmhí.’ Nuair a shéidfear dord fada ar an adharc, tagaidís aníos chun an tsléibhe.”
13 No le tocará mano, mas será apedreado ó asaeteado; sea animal ó sea hombre, no vivirá. En habiendo sonado largamente la bocina, subirán al monte.
13 Keine Hand soll ihn anrühren, sondern er soll gesteinigt oder mit Geschoß erschossen werden; es sei ein Tier oder ein Mensch, so soll er nicht leben. Wenn es aber lange tönen wird, dann sollen sie an den Berg gehen.
14 Then Moses went down from the mountain to the people, and made the people holy; and their clothing was washed.
14 Moïse descendit de la montagne vers le peuple; il sanctifia le peuple, et ils lavèrent leurs vêtements.
14 D'imigh Maois síos ón sliabh chun an phobail dá bhrí sin agus choisric sé an pobal; agus níodar a n‑éadaí.
14 Y descendió Moisés del monte al pueblo, y santificó al pueblo; y lavaron sus vestidos.
14 Mose stieg vom Berge zum Volk und heiligte sie, und sie wuschen ihre Kleider.
15 And he said to the people, Be ready by the third day: do not come near a woman.
15 Et il dit au peuple: Soyez prêts dans trois jours; ne vous approchez d'aucune femme.
15 Dúirt sé leis an bpobal: “Bígí ullamh i gcomhair an tríú lá; fanaigí amach ó mhná!” Foilsíonn an Tiarna é Féin
15 Y dijo al pueblo: Estad apercibidos para el tercer día; no lleguéis á mujer.
15 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Seid bereit auf den dritten Tag, und keiner nahe sich zum Weibe.
16 And when morning came on the third day, there were thunders and flames and a thick cloud on the mountain, and a horn sounding very loud; and all the people in the tents were shaking with fear.
16 Le troisième jour au matin, il y eut des tonnerres, des éclairs, et une épaisse nuée sur la montagne; le son de la trompette retentit fortement; et tout le peuple qui était dans le camp fut saisi d'épouvante.
16 Le breacadh an tríú lá, tharla toirneacha agus splancanna tintrí ar an sliabh, agus scamall tiubh agus dord an-ard trumpa; agus bhí na daoine go léir sa champa ar crith.
16 Y aconteció al tercer día cuando vino la mañana, que vinieron truenos y relámpagos, y espesa nube sobre el monte, y sonido de bocina muy fuerte; y estremecióse todo el pueblo que estaba en el real.
16 Als nun der dritte Tag kam und es Morgen war, da erhob sich ein Donnern und Blitzen und eine dicke Wolke auf dem Berge und ein Ton einer sehr starken Posaune; das ganze Volk aber, das im Lager war, erschrak.
17 And Moses made the people come out of their tents and take their places before God; and they came to the foot of the mountain,
17 Moïse fit sortir le peuple du camp, à la rencontre de Dieu; et ils se placèrent au bas de la montagne.
17 Ansin sheol Maois an pobal amach as an gcampa le teagmháil le Dia, agus sheasadar ag bun an tsléibhe.
17 Y Moisés sacó del real al pueblo á recibir á Dios; y pusiéronse á lo bajo del monte.
17 Und Mose führte das Volk aus dem Lager Gott entgegen, und es trat unten an den Berg.
18 And all the mountain of Sinai was smoking, for the Lord had come down on it in fire: and the smoke of it went up like the smoke of a great burning; and all the mountain was shaking.
18 La montagne de Sinaï était tout en fumée, parce que l'Éternel y était descendu au milieu du feu; cette fumée s'élevait comme la fumée d'une fournaise, et toute la montagne tremblait avec violence.
18 Bhí Sliabh Shíonái go léir faoi bhrat deataigh mar thuirling an Tiarna air i riocht tine, agus bhí an deatach ag éirí uaidh mar a dhéanfadh ó fhoirnéis agus chrith an sliabh ar fad go borb.
18 Y todo el monte de Sinaí humeaba, porque Jehová había descendido sobre él en fuego: y el humo de él subía como el humo de un horno, y todo el monte se estremeció en gran manera.
18 Der ganze Berg Sinai aber rauchte, darum daß der HERR herab auf den Berg fuhr mit Feuer; und sein Rauch ging auf wie ein Rauch vom Ofen, daß der ganze Berg sehr bebte.
19 And when the sound of the horn became louder and louder, Moses' words were answered by the voice of God.
19 Le son de la trompette retentissait de plus en plus fortement. Moïse parlait, et Dieu lui répondait à haute voix.
19 Bhí glór na hadhairce ag dul i neart agus i neart. Labhair Maois agus d'fhreagair Dia é le toirneach.
19 Y el sonido de la bocina iba esforzándose en extremo: Moisés hablaba, y Dios le respondía en voz.

20 Then the Lord came down on to Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain, and the Lord sent for Moses to come up to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.
20 Ainsi l'Éternel descendit sur la montagne de Sinaï, sur le sommet de la montagne; l'Éternel appela Moïse sur le sommet de la montagne. Et Moïse monta.
20 Agus thuirling an Tiarna ar Shliabh Shíonái, ar mhullach an tsléibhe. Ghlaoigh an Tiarna ar Mhaois go mullach an tsléibhe agus suas le Maois.
20 Y descendió Jehová sobre el monte de Sinaí, sobre la cumbre del monte: y llamó Jehová á Moisés á la cumbre del monte, y Moisés subió.
20 Als nun der HERR herniedergekommen war auf den Berg Sinai, oben auf seine Spitze, forderte er Mose oben auf die Spitze des Berges, und Mose stieg hinauf.
21 And the Lord said to Moses, Go down and give the people orders to keep back, for fear that a great number of them, forcing their way through to see the Lord, may come to destruction.
21 L'Éternel dit à Moïse: Descends, fais au peuple la défense expresse de se précipiter vers l'Éternel, pour regarder, de peur qu'un grand nombre d'entre eux ne périssent.
21 Agus dúirt an Tiarna le Maois: “Imigh síos agus bagair ar an bpobal gan briseadh thar teorainn ag teacht chun radharc a fháil ar an Tiarna agus go bhfaigheadh a lán acu bás.”
21 Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Desciende, requiere al pueblo que no traspasen el término por ver á Jehová, porque caerá multitud de ellos.
21 Da sprach der HERR zu ihm: Steig hinab und bezeuge dem Volk, daß sie nicht durchbrechen zum HERRN, ihn zu sehen, und viele aus ihnen fallen.
22 And let the priests who come near to the Lord make themselves holy, for fear that the Lord may come on them suddenly.
22 Que les sacrificateurs, qui s'approchent de l'Éternel, se sanctifient aussi, de peur que l'Éternel ne les frappe de mort.
22 “Na sagairt leis, an dream a thagann i gcóngar an Tiarna, déanaidís iad féin a choisreacan nó brisfidh an Tiarna sa mhullach orthu.”
22 Y también los sacerdotes que se llegan á Jehová, se santifiquen, porque Jehová no haga en ellos estrago.
22 Dazu die Priester, die zum HERRN nahen, sollen sich heiligen, daß sie der HERR nicht zerschmettere.
23 And Moses said to the Lord, The people will not be able to come up the mountain, for you gave us orders to put limits round the mountain, marking it out and making it holy.
23 Moïse dit à l'Éternel: Le peuple ne pourra pas monter sur la montagne de Sinaï, car tu nous en as fait la défense expresse, en disant: Fixe des limites autour de la montagne, et sanctifie-la.
23 Agus dúirt Maois leis an Tiarna: “Ní féidir don phobal teacht Sliabh Shíonái aníos óir thug tú féin rabhadh dúinn á rá: ‘Déan teorainneacha an tsléibhe a rianú timpeall agus fógair é a bheith naofa.’ ”
23 Y Moisés dijo á Jehová: El pueblo no podrá subir al monte de Sinaí, porque tú nos has requerido diciendo: Señala términos al monte, y santifícalo.
23 Mose aber sprach zum HERRN: Das Volk kann nicht auf den Berg Sinai steigen; denn du hast uns bezeugt und gesagt: Mache ein Gehege um den Berg und heilige ihn.
24 And the Lord said to him, Go down, and you and Aaron may come up; but let not the priests and the people make their way through to the Lord, or he will come on them suddenly.
24 L'Éternel lui dit: Va, descends; tu monteras ensuite avec Aaron; mais que les sacrificateurs et le peuple ne se précipitent point pour monter vers l'Éternel, de peur qu'il ne les frappe de mort.
24 “Imigh síos,” arsa an Tiarna leis, “agus tabhair aníos Árón leat ag teacht aníos arís. Ach na lig do na sagairt ná don phobal dul thar a dteorainneacha ag iarraidh teacht aníos chun an Tiarna, nó brisfidh sé orthu.”
24 Y Jehová le dijo: Ve, desciende, y subirás tú, y Aarón contigo: mas los sacerdotes y el pueblo no traspasen el término por subir á Jehová, porque no haga en ellos estrago.
24 Und der HERR sprach zu ihm: Gehe hin, steige hinab! Du und Aaron mit dir sollt heraufsteigen; aber die Priester und das Volk sollen nicht durchbrechen, daß sie hinaufsteigen zu dem HERRN, daß er sie nicht zerschmettere.
25 So Moses went down to the people and said this to them.
25 Moïse descendit vers le peuple, et lui dit ces choses.
