1 And the Lord said to Moses,
1 L'Éternel parla à Moïse, et dit:

1 Und der HERR redete mit Mose und sprach:
2 Give orders to the children of Israel to go back and put up their tents before Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, in front of Baal-zephon, opposite to which you are to put up your tents by the sea.
2 Parle aux enfants d'Israël; qu'ils se détournent, et qu'ils campent devant Pi Hahiroth, entre Migdol et la mer, vis-à-vis de Baal Tsephon; c'est en face de ce lieu que vous camperez, près de la mer.
2 “Abair,” ar sé, “le clann Iosrael filleadh agus campáil os comhair Phí Haichíorót idir Migdeol agus an fharraige, os coinne Bhálzafón. Suígí bhur gcampa sall ón áit sin cois na farraige.
2 Habla á los hijos de Israel que den la vuelta, y asienten su campo delante de Pihahiroth, entre Migdol y la mar hacia Baalzephón: delante de él asentaréis el campo, junto á la mar.
2 Rede mit den Kindern Israel und sprich, daß sie sich herumlenken und sich lagern bei Pihachiroth, zwischen Migdol und dem Meer, gegen Baal-Zephon, und daselbst gegenüber sich lagern ans Meer.
3 And Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are wandering without direction, they are shut in by the waste land.
3 Pharaon dira des enfants d'Israël: Ils sont égarés dans le pays; le désert les enferme.
3 Óir déarfaidh Forann leis féin: ‘Féach mar atá clann úd Iosrael ar seachran san fhásach; d'iaigh an fásach orthu.’
3 Porque Faraón dirá de los hijos de Israel: Encerrados están en la tierra, el desierto los ha encerrado.
3 Denn Pharao wird sagen von den Kindern Israel: Sie sind verirrt im Lande; die Wüste hat sie eingeschlossen.
4 And I will make Pharaoh's heart hard, and he will come after them and I will be honoured over Pharaoh and all his army, so that the Egyptians may see that I am the Lord. And they did so.
4 J'endurcirai le coeur de Pharaon, et il les poursuivra; mais Pharaon et toute son armée serviront à faire éclater ma gloire, et les Égyptiens sauront que je suis l'Éternel. Et les enfants d'Israël firent ainsi.
4 Ansin cruafaidh mé croí Fhorainn agus rachaidh sé sa tóir orthu agus bainfidh mé glóir amach de bharr Fhorainn agus a shlua; beidh a fhios ag na hÉigiptigh gur mise an Tiarna.” Rinneadar amhlaidh.
4 Y yo endureceré el corazón de Faraón para que los siga; y seré glorificado en Faraón y en todo su ejército; y sabrán los Egipcios que yo soy Jehová. Y ellos lo hicieron así.
4 Und ich will sein Herz verstocken, daß er ihnen nachjage, und will an Pharao und an aller seiner Macht Ehre einlegen, und die Ägypter sollen innewerden, daß ich der HERR bin. Und sie taten also.
5 And word came to Pharaoh of the flight of the people: and the feeling of Pharaoh and of his servants about the people was changed, and they said, Why have we let Israel go, so that they will do no more work for us?
5 On annonça au roi d'Égypte que le peuple avait pris la fuite. Alors le coeur de Pharaon et celui de ses serviteurs furent changés à l'égard du peuple. Ils dirent: Qu'avons-nous fait, en laissant aller Israël, dont nous n'aurons plus les services?
5 Nuair a insíodh do rí na hÉigipte go raibh an pobal bailithe leo, tháinig malairt aigne air féin agus ar a shearbhóntaí i dtaobh an phobail. “Cad é seo atá déanta againn,” ar siad, “á rá is gur scaoileamar le hIosrael óna seirbhís dúinn?”
5 Y fué dado aviso al rey de Egipto cómo el pueblo se huía: y el corazón de Faraón y de sus siervos se volvió contra el pueblo, y dijeron: ¿Cómo hemos hecho esto de haber dejado ir á Israel, para que no nos sirva?
5 Und da es dem König in Ägypten angesagt ward, daß das Volk geflohen war, ward sein Herz verwandelt und das Herz seiner Knechte gegen das Volk, und sie sprachen: Warum haben wir das getan, daß wir Israel haben gelassen, daß sie uns nicht dienten?
6 So he had his war-carriage made ready and took his people with him:
6 Et Pharaon attela son char, et il prit son peuple avec lui.
6 Ghabh Forann a charbad dá bhrí sin agus thionóil sé a shlua.
6 Y unció su carro, y tomó consigo su pueblo;
6 Und er spannte seinen Wagen an und nahm sein Volk mit sich
7 And he took six hundred carriages, all the carriages of Egypt, and captains over all of them.
7 Il prit six cent chars d'élite, et tous les chars de l'Égypte; il y avait sur tous des combattants.
7 Thóg sé sé chéad de thogha na gcarbad agus carbaid eile na hÉigipte go léir agus foireann thofa le gach ceann.
7 y tomó seiscientos carros escogidos, y todos los carros de Egipto, y los capitanes sobre ellos.
7 und nahm sechshundert auserlesene Wagen und was sonst von Wagen in Ägypten war und die Hauptleute über all sein Heer.
8 And the Lord made the heart of Pharaoh hard, and he went after the children of Israel: for the children of Israel had gone out without fear.
8 L'Éternel endurcit le coeur de Pharaon, roi d'Égypte, et Pharaon poursuivit les enfants d'Israël. Les enfants d'Israël étaient sortis la main levée.
8 Chruaigh an Tiarna croí Fhorainn rí na hÉigipte agus chuaigh sé sa tóir ar chlann Iosrael agus iad ag cur díobh faoi thréanchosaint.
8 Y endureció Jehová el corazón de Faraón rey de Egipto, y siguió á los hijos de Israel; pero los hijos de Israel habían salido con mano poderosa.
8 Denn der HERR verstockte das Herz Pharaos, des Königs in Ägypten, daß er den Kindern Israel nachjagte. Aber die Kinder Israel waren durch eine hohe Hand ausgezogen.
9 But the Egyptians went after them, all the horses and carriages of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them in their tents by the sea, by Pihahiroth, before Baal-zephon.
9 Les Égyptiens les poursuivirent; et tous les chevaux, les chars de Pharaon, ses cavaliers et son armée, les atteignirent campés près de la mer, vers Pi Hahiroth, vis-à-vis de Baal Tsephon.
9 Chuaigh na hÉigiptigh sa tóir orthu le heachra agus le carbaid Fhorainn lena mharcshlua agus lena arm go léir; agus thángadar orthu agus a gcampa suite acu cois na farraige ag Pí Haichíorót os coinne Bhálzafón.
9 Siguiéndolos, pues, los Egipcios, con toda la caballería y carros de Faraón, su gente de á caballo, y todo su ejército, alcanzáronlos asentando el campo junto á la mar, al lado de Pihahiroth, delante de Baalzephón.
9 Und die Ägypter jagten ihnen nach und ereilten sie (da sie sich gelagert hatten am Meer) mit Rossen und Wagen und Reitern und allem Heer des Pharao bei Pihachiroth, gegen Baal-Zephon.
10 And when Pharaoh came near, the children of Israel, lifting up their eyes, saw the Egyptians coming after them, and were full of fear; and their cry went up to God.
10 Pharaon approchait. Les enfants d'Israël levèrent les yeux, et voici, les Égyptiens étaient en marche derrière eux. Et les enfants d'Israël eurent une grande frayeur, et crièrent à l'Éternel.
10 Agus Forann ag druidim leo d'fhéach clann Iosrael ina dtimpeall, agus b'shiúd na hÉigiptigh sa tóir orthu! Tháinig scéin orthu, agus ghlaoigh clann Iosrael ar an Tiarna;
10 Y cuando Faraón se hubo acercado, los hijos de Israel alzaron sus ojos, y he aquí los Egipcios que venían tras ellos; por lo que temieron en gran manera, y clamaron los hijos de Israel á Jehová.
10 Und da Pharao zu ihnen nahe kam, hoben die Kinder Israel ihre Augen auf, und siehe, die Ägypter zogen hinter ihnen her; und sie fürchteten sich sehr und schrieen zu dem HERRN
11 And they said to Moses, Was there no resting-place for the dead in Egypt, that you have taken us away to come to our death in the waste land? why have you taken us out of Egypt?
11 Ils dirent à Moïse: N'y avait-il pas des sépulcres en Égypte, sans qu'il fût besoin de nous mener mourir au désert? Que nous as-tu fait en nous faisant sortir d'Égypte?
11 agus dúradar le Maois: “B'ea ann nach raibh aon uaigheanna san Éigipt a rá is gur chaith tú sinn a sheoladh amach chun bás a fháil san fhásach? Cén mhaith dúinn thú dár mbreith amach as an Éigipt?
11 Y dijeron á Moisés: ¿No había sepulcros en Egipto, que nos has sacado para que muramos en el desierto? ¿Por qué lo has hecho así con nosotros, que nos has sacado de Egipto?
11 und sprachen zu Mose: Waren nicht genug Gräber in Ägypten, daß du uns mußtest wegführen, daß wir in der Wüste sterben? Warum hast du uns das getan, daß du uns aus Ägypten geführt hast?
12 Did we not say to you in Egypt, Let us be as we are, working for the Egyptians? for it is better to be the servants of the Egyptians than to come to our death in the waste land.
12 N'est-ce pas là ce que nous te disions en Égypte: Laisse-nous servir les Égyptiens, car nous aimons mieux servir les Égyptiens que de mourir au désert?
12 Nár phléamar é seo leat san Éigipt? ‘Lig dúinn,’ a dúramar, ‘seirbhís a dhéanamh do na hÉigiptigh; b'fhearr dúinn bheith ag déanamh seirbhíse do na hÉigiptigh ná bás a fháil san fhásach!’ ”
12 ¿No es esto lo que te hablamos en Egipto, diciendo: Déjanos servir á los Egipcios? Que mejor nos fuera servir á los Egipcios, que morir nosotros en el desierto.
12 Ist's nicht das, das wir dir sagten in Ägypten: Höre auf und laß uns den Ägyptern dienen? Denn es wäre uns ja besser den Ägyptern dienen als in der Wüste sterben.
13 But Moses said, Keep where you are and have no fear; now you will see the salvation of the Lord which he will give you today; for the Egyptians whom you see today you will never see again.
13 Moïse répondit au peuple: Ne craignez rien, restez en place, et regardez la délivrance que l'Éternel va vous accorder en ce jour; car les Égyptiens que vous voyez aujourd'hui, vous ne les verrez plus jamais.
13 D'fhreagair Maois an pobal: “Bíodh misneach agaibh!” ar sé; “seasaigí an fód! agus feicfidh sibh conas a fhuasclóidh an Tiarna sibh inniu. Mar na hÉigiptigh a fheiceann sibh inniu, ní fheicfidh sibh go brách arís.
13 Y Moisés dijo al pueblo: No temáis; estaos quedos, y ved la salud de Jehová, que él hará hoy con vosotros; porque los Egipcios que hoy habéis visto, nunca más para siempre los veréis.
13 Mose sprach zum Volk: Fürchtet euch nicht, stehet fest und sehet zu, was für ein Heil der HERR heute an euch tun wird. Denn diese Ägypter, die ihr heute sehet, werdet ihr nimmermehr sehen ewiglich.
14 The Lord will make war for you, you have only to keep quiet.
14 L'Éternel combattra pour vous; et vous, gardez le silence.
14 Troidfidh an Tiarna ar bhur son; ní gá daoibh ach fanacht socair.” Ag Dul Anonn
14 Jehová peleará por vosotros, y vosotros estaréis quedos.
14 Der HERR wird für euch streiten, und ihr werdet still sein.
15 And the Lord said to Moses, Why are you crying out to me? give the children of Israel the order to go forward.
15 L'Éternel dit à Moïse: Pourquoi ces cris? Parle aux enfants d'Israël, et qu'ils marchent.
15 Dúirt an Tiarna le Maois: “Cén fáth go bhfuil tú ag glaoch orm? Abair le clann Iosrael dul ar aghaidh.
15 Entonces Jehová dijo á Moisés: ¿Por qué clamas á mí? Di á los hijos de Israel que marchen.
15 Der HERR sprach zu Mose: Was schreist du zu mir? sage den Kindern Israel, daß sie ziehen.
16 And let your rod be lifted up and your hand stretched out over the sea, and it will be parted in two; and the children of Israel will go through on dry land.
16 Toi, lève ta verge, étends ta main sur la mer, et fends-la; et les enfants d'Israël entreront au milieu de la mer à sec.
16 Ardaigh do shlat agus sín do lámh os cionn na farraige agus deighil ó chéile í i dtreo go siúlfaidh clann Iosrael ar thalamh tirim tríd an bhfarraige.
16 Y tú alza tu vara, y extiende tu mano sobre la mar, y divídela; y entren los hijos de Israel por medio de la mar en seco.
16 Du aber hebe deinen Stab auf und recke deine Hand aus über das Meer und teile es voneinander, daß die Kinder Israel hineingehen, mitten hindurch auf dem Trockenen.
17 And I will make the heart of the Egyptians hard, and they will go in after them: and I will be honoured over Pharaoh and over his army, his war-carriages, and his horsemen.
17 Et moi, je vais endurcir le coeur des Égyptiens, pour qu'ils y entrent après eux: et Pharaon et toute son armée, ses chars et ses cavaliers, feront éclater ma gloire.
17 Agus cruafaidh mé croíthe na nÉigipteach i dtreo go rachaidh siad isteach ina ndiaidh. Gheobhaidh mé glóir de bharr Fhorainn agus a airm go léir agus a charbad agus a mharcshlua.
17 Y yo, he aquí yo endureceré el corazón de los Egipcios, para que los sigan: y yo me glorificaré en Faraón, y en todo su ejército, y en sus carros, y en su caballería;
17 Siehe, ich will das Herz der Ägypter verstocken, daß sie euch nachfolgen. So will ich Ehre einlegen an dem Pharao und an aller seiner Macht, an seinen Wagen und Reitern.
18 And the Egyptians will see that I am the Lord, when I get honour over Pharaoh and his war-carriages and his horsemen.
18 Et les Égyptiens sauront que je suis l'Éternel, quand Pharaon, ses chars et ses cavaliers, auront fait éclater ma gloire.
18 Beidh a fhios ag na hÉigiptigh gur mise an Tiarna nuair a bheidh glóir buaite agam de bharr Fhorainn agus a charbad agus a mharcshlua.”
18 Y sabrán los Egipcios que yo soy Jehová, cuando me glorificaré en Faraón, en sus carros, y en su gente de á caballo.
18 Und die Ägypter sollen innewerden, daß ich der HERR bin, wenn ich Ehre eingelegt habe an Pharao und an seinen Wagen und Reitern.
19 Then the angel of God, who had been before the tents of Israel, took his place at their back; and the pillar of cloud, moving from before them, came to rest at their back:
19 L'ange de Dieu, qui allait devant le camp d'Israël, partit et alla derrière eux; et la colonne de nuée qui les précédait, partit et se tint derrière eux.
19 Ansin aingeal an Tiarna a bhí ar bhéala shlua Iosrael san aistear, d'fhág sé an áit sin agus tháinig ar a gcúla; agus an colún néil a bhí rompu amach tháinig sé laistiar díobh agus d'fhan ann,
19 Y el ángel de Dios que iba delante del campo de Israel, se apartó, é iba en pos de ellos; y asimismo la columna de nube que iba delante de ellos, se apartó, y púsose á sus espaldas:
19 Da erhob sich der Engel Gottes, der vor dem Heer Israels her zog, und machte sich hinter sie; und die Wolkensäule machte sich auch von ihrem Angesicht und trat hinter sie
20 And it came between the army of Egypt and the army of Israel; and there was a dark cloud between them, and they went on through the night; but the one army came no nearer to the other all the night.
20 Elle se plaça entre le camp des Égyptiens et le camp d'Israël. Cette nuée était ténébreuse d'un côté, et de l'autre elle éclairait la nuit. Et les deux camps n'approchèrent point l'un de l'autre pendant toute la nuit.
20 agus é ag teacht idir slua na hÉigipte agus slua Iosrael. Leis an néal agus an dorchadas chaitheadar an oíche gan teacht i ngiorracht dá chéile ar feadh na hoíche.
20 E iba entre el campo de los Egipcios y el campo de Israel; y era nube y tinieblas para aquéllos, y alumbraba á Israel de noche: y en toda aquella noche nunca llegaron los unos á los otros.
20 und kam zwischen das Heer der Ägypter und das Heer Israels. Es war aber eine finstere Wolke und erleuchtete die Nacht, daß sie die ganze Nacht, diese und jene, nicht zusammenkommen konnten.
21 And when Moses' hand was stretched out over the sea, the Lord with a strong east wind made the sea go back all night, and the waters were parted in two and the sea became dry land.
21 Moïse étendit sa main sur la mer. Et l'Éternel refoula la mer par un vent d'orient, qui souffla avec impétuosité toute la nuit; il mit la mer à sec, et les eaux se fendirent.
21 Shín Maois a lámh os cionn na farraige agus thiomáin an Tiarna an fharraige ar ais le gaoth láidir anoir a shéid ar feadh na hoíche, agus rinneadh talamh tirim den fharraige. Dheighil na huiscí óna chéile,
21 Y extendió Moisés su mano sobre la mar, é hizo Jehová que la mar se retirase por recio viento oriental toda aquella noche; y tornó la mar en seco, y las aguas quedaron divididas.
21 Da nun Mose seine Hand reckte über das Meer, ließ es der HERR hinwegfahren durch einen starken Ostwind die ganze Nacht und machte das Meer trocken; und die Wasser teilten sich voneinander.
22 And the children of Israel went through the sea on dry land: and the waters were a wall on their right side and on their left.
22 Les enfants d'Israël entrèrent au milieu de la mer à sec, et les eaux formaient comme une muraille à leur droite et à leur gauche.
22 agus chuaigh clann Iosrael isteach i lár na farraige ar thalamh tirim agus na huiscí ina mballaí ar dheis agus ar chlé acu.
22 Entonces los hijos de Israel entraron por medio de la mar en seco, teniendo las aguas como muro á su diestra y á su siniestra:
22 Und die Kinder Israel gingen hinein, mitten ins Meer auf dem Trockenen; und das Wasser war ihnen für Mauern zur Rechten und zur Linken.
23 Then the Egyptians went after them into the middle of the sea, all Pharaoh's horses and his war-carriages and his horsemen.
23 Les Égyptiens les poursuivirent; et tous les chevaux de Pharaon, ses chars et ses cavaliers, entrèrent après eux au milieu de la mer.
23 Chuaigh na hÉigiptigh sa tóir orthu agus isteach leo i lár na farraige ina ndiaidh, le capaill agus carbaid agus marcshlua Fhorainn go léir.
23 Y siguiéndolos los Egipcios, entraron tras ellos hasta el medio de la mar, toda la caballería de Faraón, sus carros, y su gente de á caballo.
23 Und die Ägypter folgten und gingen hinein ihnen nach, alle Rosse Pharaos und Wagen und Reiter, mitten ins Meer.
24 And in the morning watch, the Lord, looking out on the armies of the Egyptians from the pillar of fire and cloud, sent trouble on the army of the Egyptians;
24 A la veille du matin, l'Éternel, de la colonne de feu et de nuée, regarda le camp des Égyptiens, et mit en désordre le camp des Égyptiens.
24 Le ham faire na maidine, d'fhéach an Tiarna anuas ar shluaite na hÉigipteach ón gcolún tine agus néil agus rinne sé cíor thuathail de shluaite na nÉigipteach.
24 Y aconteció á la vela de la mañana, que Jehová miró al campo de los Egipcios desde la columna de fuego y nube, y perturbó el campo de los Egipcios.
24 Als nun die Morgenwache kam, schaute der HERR auf der Ägypter Heer aus der Feuersäule und Wolke und machte einen Schrecken in ihrem Heer
25 And made the wheels of their war-carriages stiff, so that they had hard work driving them: so the Egyptians said, Let us go in flight from before the face of Israel, for the Lord is fighting for them against the Egyptians.
25 Il ôta les roues de leurs chars et en rendit la marche difficile. Les Égyptiens dirent alors: Fuyons devant Israël, car l'Éternel combat pour lui contre les Égyptiens.
25 Chuir sé rothaí na gcarbad i ngreim i dtreo gur dheacair dóibh dul chun cinn. Liúigh na hÉigiptigh: “Teithimís ó láthair na nIosraelach mar go bhfuil an Tiarna ag troid ar a son in aghaidh na nÉigipteach.”
25 Y quitóles las ruedas de sus carros, y trastornólos gravemente. Entonces los Egipcios dijeron: Huyamos de delante de Israel, porque Jehová pelea por ellos contra los Egipcios.
25 und stieß die Räder von ihren Wagen, stürzte sie mit Ungestüm. Da sprachen die Ägypter: Laßt uns fliehen von Israel; der HERR streitet für sie wider die Ägypter.
26 And the Lord said to Moses, Let your hand be stretched out over the sea, and the waters will come back again on the Egyptians, and on their war-carriages and on their horsemen.
26 L'Éternel dit à Moïse: Étends ta main sur la mer; et les eaux reviendront sur les Égyptiens, sur leurs chars et sur leurs cavaliers.
26 Ansin dúirt an Tiarna le Maois: “Sín do lámh amach os cionn na farraige i dtreo go bhfillfidh na huiscí ar ais anuas ar na hÉigiptigh ar a gcarbaid agus ar a marcshlua.”
26 Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Extiende tu mano sobre la mar, para que las aguas vuelvan sobre los Egipcios, sobre sus carros, y sobre su caballería.
26 Aber der HERR sprach zu Mose: Recke deine Hand aus über das Meer, daß das Wasser wieder herfalle über die Ägypter, über ihre Wagen und Reiter.
27 And when Moses' hand was stretched out over the sea, at dawn the sea came flowing back, meeting the Egyptians in their flight, and the Lord sent destruction on the Egyptians in the middle of the sea.
27 Moïse étendit sa main sur la mer. Et vers le matin, la mer reprit son impétuosité, et les Égyptiens s'enfuirent à son approche; mais l'Éternel précipita les Égyptiens au milieu de la mer.
27 Shín Maois a lámh amach os cionn na farraige dá bhrí sin agus le breacadh an lae d'fhill an fharraige ar a cúrsa gnáth. Chuaigh na hÉigiptigh ceann ar aghaidh isteach inti ina raon teite agus chloígh an Tiarna na hÉigiptigh i mbroinn na bóchna.
27 Y Moisés extendió su mano sobre la mar, y la mar se volvió en su fuerza cuando amanecía; y los Egipcios iban hacia ella: y Jehová derribó á los Egipcios en medio de la mar.
27 Da reckte Mose seine Hand aus über das Meer, und das Meer kam wieder vor morgens in seinen Strom, und die Ägypter flohen ihm entgegen. Also stürzte sie der HERR mitten ins Meer,
28 And the waters came back, covering the war-carriages and the horsemen and all the army of Pharaoh which went after them into the middle of the sea; not one of them was to be seen.
28 Les eaux revinrent, et couvrirent les chars, les cavaliers et toute l'armée de Pharaon, qui étaient entrés dans la mer après les enfants d'Israël; et il n'en échappa pas un seul.
28 Ag filleadh di threascair an tuile carbaid agus marcshlua agus sluaite uile Fhorainn a lean na hIosraelaigh isteach san fharraige; níor tháinig fear inste scéil slán.
28 Y volvieron las aguas, y cubrieron los carros y la caballería, y todo el ejército de Faraón que había entrado tras ellos en la mar; no quedó de ellos ni uno.
28 daß das Wasser wiederkam und bedeckte Wagen und Reiter und alle Macht des Pharao, die ihnen nachgefolgt waren ins Meer, daß nicht einer aus ihnen übrigblieb.
29 But the children of Israel went through the sea walking on dry land, and the waters were a wall on their right side and on their left.
29 Mais les enfants d'Israël marchèrent à sec au milieu de la mer, et les eaux formaient comme une muraille à leur droite et à leur gauche.
29 Ach shiúil clann Iosrael ar thalamh tirim tríd an bhfarraige agus na huiscí ina mballaí ar dheis agus ar chlé acu.
29 Y los hijos de Israel fueron por medio de la mar en seco, teniendo las aguas por muro á su diestra y á su siniestra.
29 Aber die Kinder Israel gingen trocken mitten durchs Meer; und das Wasser war ihnen für Mauern zur Rechten und zur Linken.
