1 And after that, Moses and Aaron came to Pharaoh, and said, The Lord, the God of Israel, says, Let my people go so that they may keep a feast to me in the waste land.
1 Moïse et Aaron se rendirent ensuite auprès de Pharaon, et lui dirent: Ainsi parle l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël: Laisse aller mon peuple, pour qu'il célèbre au désert une fête en mon honneur.
1 Ansin chuaigh Maois agus Árón go Forann agus dúirt leis: “Seo mar a deir an Tiarna Dia Iosrael: ‘Lig do mo phobal imeacht go ndéanfaidh siad ceiliúradh domsa san fhásach.’ ”
1 Después entraron Moisés y Aarón á Faraón, y le dijeron: Jehová, el Dios de Israel, dice así: Deja ir á mi pueblo á celebrarme fiesta en el desierto.
1 Darnach ging Mose und Aaron hinein und sprachen zu Pharao: So sagt der HERR, der Gott Israels: Laß mein Volk ziehen, daß mir's ein Fest halte in der Wüste.
2 And Pharaoh said, Who is the Lord, to whose voice I am to give ear and let Israel go? I have no knowledge of the Lord and I will not let Israel go.
2 Pharaon répondit: Qui est l'Éternel, pour que j'obéisse à sa voix, en laissant aller Israël? Je ne connais point l'Éternel, et je ne laisserai point aller Israël.
2 Ach dúirt Forann: “Cé hé an Tiarna seo go n‑éistfinnse lena ghlór agus Iosrael a ligean chun siúil? Táim dall ar an Tiarna agus ní ligfidh mé Iosrael chun siúil.”
2 Y Faraón respondió: ¿Quién es Jehová, para que yo oiga su voz y deje ir á Israel? Yo no conozco á Jehová, ni tampoco dejaré ir á Israel.
2 Pharao antwortete: Wer ist der HERR, des Stimme ich hören müsse und Israel ziehen lassen? Ich weiß nichts von dem HERRN, will auch Israel nicht lassen ziehen.
3 And they said, The God of the Hebrews has come to us: let us then go three days' journey into the waste land to make an offering to the Lord our God, so that he may not send death on us by disease or the sword.
3 Ils dirent: Le Dieu des Hébreux nous est apparu. Permets-nous de faire trois journées de marche dans le désert, pour offrir des sacrifices à l'Éternel, afin qu'il ne nous frappe pas de la peste ou de l'épée.
3 “Tháinig Dia na nEabhrach an treo chugainn,” ar siad; “tabhair cead dúinn aistear trí lá a dhéanamh isteach san fhásach chun íobairt a dhéanamh don Tiarna ár nDia le heagla go dtiocfadh sé sa mhullach orainn le plá nó le faobhar claímh.”
3 Y ellos dijeron: El Dios de los Hebreos nos ha encontrado: iremos, pues, ahora camino de tres días por el desierto, y sacrificaremos á Jehová nuestro Dios; porque no venga sobre nosotros con pestilencia ó con espada.
3 Sie sprachen: Der Hebräer Gott hat uns gerufen; so laß uns nun hinziehen drei Tagereisen in die Wüste und dem HERRN, unserm Gott, opfern, daß uns nicht widerfahre Pestilenz oder Schwert.
4 And the king of Egypt said to them, Why do you, Moses and Aaron, take the people away from their work? get back to your work.
4 Et le roi d'Égypte leur dit: Moïse et Aaron, pourquoi détournez-vous le peuple de son ouvrage? Allez à vos travaux.
4 Dúirt rí na hÉigipte leo: “A Mhaois agus a Árón, cad chuige daoibh an pobal a bhreith óna saothar. Téigí i mbun bhur gcuid oibre!”
4 Entonces el rey de Egipto les dijo: Moisés y Aarón, ¿por qué hacéis cesar al pueblo de su obra? idos á vuestros cargos.
4 Da sprach der König in Ägypten zu ihnen: Du Mose und Aaron, warum wollt ihr das Volk von seiner Arbeit frei machen? Gehet hin an eure Dienste!
5 And Pharaoh said, Truly, the people of the land are increasing in number, and you are keeping them back from their work.
5 Pharaon dit: Voici, ce peuple est maintenant nombreux dans le pays, et vous lui feriez interrompre ses travaux!

5 Dijo también Faraón: He aquí el pueblo de la tierra es ahora mucho, y vosotros les hacéis cesar de sus cargos.
5 Weiter sprach Pharao: Siehe, des Volks ist schon zuviel im Lande, und ihr wollt sie noch feiern heißen von ihrem Dienst!
6 The same day Pharaoh gave orders to the overseers and those who were responsible for the work, saying,
6 Et ce jour même, Pharaon donna cet ordre aux inspecteurs du peuple et aux commissaires:
6 An lá ceannann céanna sin thug Forann ordú do shaoistí saothair an phobail agus do na maoir:
6 Y mandó Faraón aquel mismo día á los cuadrilleros del pueblo que le tenían á su cargo, y á sus gobernadores, diciendo:
6 Darum befahl Pharao desselben Tages den Vögten des Volks und ihren Amtleuten und sprach:
7 Give these men no more dry stems for their brick-making as you have been doing; let them go and get the material for themselves.
7 Vous ne donnerez plus comme auparavant de la paille au peuple pour faire des briques; qu'ils aillent eux-mêmes ramasser de la paille.
7 “Ná tugaigí tuí don phobal feasta chun na brící a dhéanamh, rud a dhéanadh sibh - téidís agus cruinnídís tuí dóibh féin.
7 De aquí adelante no daréis paja al pueblo para hacer ladrillo, como ayer y antes de ayer; vayan ellos y recojan por sí mismos la paja:
7 Ihr sollt dem Volk nicht mehr Stroh sammeln und geben, daß sie Ziegel machen wie bisher; laßt sie selbst hingehen, und Stroh zusammenlesen,
8 But see that they make the same number of bricks as before, and no less: for they have no love for work; and so they are crying out and saying, Let us go and make an offering to our God.
8 Vous leur imposerez néanmoins la quantité de briques qu'ils faisaient auparavant, vous n'en retrancherez rien; car ce sont des paresseux; voilà pourquoi ils crient, en disant: Allons offrir des sacrifices à notre Dieu!
8 Ach an líon brící a dhéanaidís go dtí seo, bíodh sin de thasc agaibh orthu, gan aon laghdú ar bith air. Díomhaointeas atá orthu; uime sin a ghlaonn siad: ‘Téanaigí agus déanaimis íobairt chun ár nDé.’
8 Y habéis de ponerles la tarea del ladrillo que hacían antes, y no les disminuiréis nada; porque están ociosos, y por eso levantan la voz diciendo: Vamos y sacrificaremos á nuestro Dios.
8 und die Zahl der Ziegel, die sie bisher gemacht haben, sollt ihr ihnen gleichwohl auflegen und nichts mindern; denn sie gehen müßig, darum schreien sie und sprechen: Wir wollen hinziehen und unserm Gott opfern.
9 Give the men harder work, and see that they do it; let them not give attention to false words.
9 Que l'on charge de travail ces gens, qu'ils s'en occupent, et ils ne prendront plus garde à des paroles de mensonge.
9 Cuirtear breis oibre ar na fir seo i dtreo go gcaithfidh siad luí léi agus gan a bheith ag cur spéise i mbriathra baotha.” Breis Saothair
9 Agrávese la servidumbre sobre ellos, para que se ocupen en ella, y no atiendan á palabras de mentira.
9 Man drücke die Leute mit Arbeit, daß sie zu schaffen haben und sich nicht kehren an falsche Rede.
10 And the overseers of the people and their responsible men went out and said to the people, Pharaoh says, I will give you no more dry stems.
10 Les inspecteurs du peuple et les commissaires vinrent dire au peuple: Ainsi parle Pharaon: Je ne vous donne plus de paille;
10 Chuaigh saoistí saothair an phobail agus na maoir amach agus dúradar leis an bpobal: “Seo mar a deir Forann: ‘Ní thabharfaidh mé tuí daoibh.
10 Y saliendo los cuadrilleros del pueblo y sus gobernadores, hablaron al pueblo, diciendo: Así ha dicho Faraón: Yo no os doy paja.
10 Da gingen die Vögte des Volkes und ihre Amtleute aus und sprachen zum Volk: So spricht Pharao: Man wird euch kein Stroh geben;
11 Go yourselves and get dry stems wherever you are able; for your work is not to be any less.
11 allez vous-mêmes vous procurer de la paille où vous en trouverez, car l'on ne retranche rien de votre travail.
11 Imígí féin agus cruinnígí tuí daoibh féin cibé áit ina mbeidh fáil agaibh uirthi. Ach ní lúide aon phioc bhur dtasc an méid sin.’ ”
11 Id vosotros, y recoged paja donde la hallareis; que nada se disminuirá de vuestra tarea.
11 geht ihr selbst hin und sammelt euch Stroh, wo ihr's findet; aber von eurer Arbeit soll nichts gemindert werden.
12 So the people were sent in all directions through the land of Egypt to get dry grass for stems.
12 Le peuple se répandit dans tout le pays d'Égypte, pour ramasser du chaume au lieu de paille.
12 Amach leis an bpobal ar fud chríocha na hÉigipte ag bailiú coinlíní le haghaidh tuí.
12 Entonces el pueblo se derramó por toda la tierra de Egipto á coger rastrojo en lugar de paja.
12 Da zerstreute sich das Volk ins ganze Land Ägypten, daß es Stoppeln sammelte, damit sie Stroh hätten.
13 And the overseers went on driving them and saying, Do your full day's work as before when there were dry stems for you.
13 Les inspecteurs les pressaient, en disant: Achevez votre tâche, jour par jour, comme quand il y avait de la paille.
13 Luigh na saoistí orthu á rá: “Comhlíonaigí bhur saothar, bhur dtasc lae, faoi mar nuair a bhí soláthar tuí ann daoibh.”
13 Y los cuadrilleros los apremiaban, diciendo: Acabad vuestra obra, la tarea del día en su día, como cuando se os daba paja.
13 Und die Vögte trieben sie und sprachen: Erfüllet euer Tagewerk, gleich als da ihr Stroh hattet.
14 And the responsible men of the children of Israel, whom Pharaoh's overseers had put over them, were given blows, and they said to them, Why have you not done your regular work, in making bricks as before?
14 On battit même les commissaires des enfants d'Israël, établis sur eux par les inspecteurs de Pharaon: Pourquoi, disait-on, n'avez-vous pas achevé hier et aujourd'hui, comme auparavant, la quantité de briques qui vous avait été fixée?
14 Agus na maoir a cheap na saoistí saothair os cionn chlann Iosrael, sciúrsáladh iad agus fiafraíodh díobh: “Cén fáth nach bhfuil líon bhur dtasc de bhrící déanta agaibh inné ná inniu mar a bhíodh cheana?”
14 Y azotaban á los capataces de los hijos de Israel, que los cuadrilleros de Faraón habían puesto sobre ellos, diciendo: ¿Por qué no habéis cumplido vuestra tarea de ladrillo ni ayer ni hoy, como antes?
14 Und die Amtleute der Kinder Israel, welche die Vögte Pharaos über sie gesetzt hatten, wurden geschlagen, und ward zu ihnen gesagt: Warum habt ihr weder heute noch gestern euer gesetztes Tagewerk getan wie bisher?
15 Then the responsible men of the children of Israel came to Pharaoh, protesting and saying, Why are you acting in this way to your servants?
15 Les commissaires des enfants d'Israël allèrent se plaindre à Pharaon, et lui dirent: Pourquoi traites-tu ainsi tes serviteurs?
15 Maoir chlann Iosrael, chuadar go Forann agus rinneadar gearán: “Cad chuige a gcaitheann tú mar sin le do shearbhóntaí?” ar siad.
15 Y los capataces de los hijos de Israel vinieron á Faraón, y se quejaron á él, diciendo: ¿Por qué lo haces así con tus siervos?
15 Da gingen hinein die Amtleute der Kinder Israel und schrien zu Pharao: Warum willst du mit deinen Knechten also fahren?
16 They give us no dry stems and they say to us, Make bricks: and they give your servants blows; but it is your people who are in the wrong.
16 On ne donne point de paille à tes serviteurs, et l'on nous dit: Faites des briques! Et voici, tes serviteurs sont battus, comme si ton peuple était coupable.
16 “Níl aon tuí á soláthar do do shearbhóntaí, ach liútar éitear orainn: ‘Déanaigí brící!’ Agus seo anois do shearbhóntaí á sciúrsáil, ach [is ar] do mhuintir féin an locht.”
16 No se da paja á tus siervos, y con todo nos dicen: Haced el ladrillo. Y he aquí tus siervos son azotados, y tu pueblo cae en falta.
16 Man gibt den Knechten kein Stroh, und sie sollen die Ziegel machen, die uns bestimmt sind; siehe deine Knechte werden geschlagen, und dein Volk muß schuldig sein.
17 But he said, You have no love for work: that is why you say, Let us go and make an offering to the Lord.
17 Pharaon répondit: Vous êtes des paresseux, des paresseux! Voilà pourquoi vous dites: Allons offrir des sacrifices à l'Éternel!
17 “Díomhaointeas agus a thuilleadh den díomhaointeas atá oraibh,” ar sé. “Uime sin a deir sibh: ‘Téanaigí agus déanaimis íobairt don Tiarna.’
17 Y él respondió: Estáis ociosos, sí, ociosos, y por eso decís: Vamos y sacrifiquemos á Jehová.
17 Pharao sprach: Ihr seid müßig, müßig seid ihr; darum sprecht ihr: Wir wollen hinziehen und dem HERRN opfern.
18 Go now, get back to your work; no dry stems will be given to you, but you are to make the full number of bricks.
18 Maintenant, allez travailler; on ne vous donnera point de paille, et vous livrerez la même quantité de briques.
18 Imígí libh dá bhrí sin agus téigí i mbun bhur saothair. Ní bhfaighidh sibh tuí ar bith, ach caithfidh sibh an líon céanna brící a chur ar fáil.”
18 Id pues ahora, y trabajad. No se os dará paja, y habéis de dar la tarea del ladrillo.
18 So gehet nun hin und frönt; Stroh soll man euch nicht geben, aber die Anzahl der Ziegel sollt ihr schaffen.
19 Then the responsible men of the children of Israel saw that they were purposing evil when they said, The number of bricks which you have to make every day will be no less than before.
19 Les commissaires des enfants d'Israël virent qu'on les rendait malheureux, en disant: Vous ne retrancherez rien de vos briques; chaque jour la tâche du jour.
19 Is maith a bhí a fhios ag maoir chlann Iosrael gurbh olc an áit ina rabhadar agus é á rá leo: “Ní dhéanfaidh sibh laghdú ar bith ar líon bhur mbrící in aghaidh an lae.”
19 Entonces los capataces de los hijos de Israel se vieron en aflicción, habiéndoseles dicho: No se disminuirá nada de vuestro ladrillo, de la tarea de cada día.
19 Da sahen die Amtleute der Kinder Israel, daß es ärger ward, weil man sagte: Ihr sollt nichts mindern von dem Tagewerk an den Ziegeln.
20 And they came face to face with Moses and Aaron, who were in their way when they came out from Pharaoh:
20 En sortant de chez Pharaon, ils rencontrèrent Moïse et Aaron qui les attendaient.
20 Ar an tslí amach dóibh ó láthair Fhorainn bhuail siad le Maois agus Árón a bhí ag feitheamh leo;
20 Y encontrando á Moisés y á Aarón, que estaban á la vista de ellos cuando salían de Faraón,
20 Und da sie von Pharao gingen, begegneten sie Mose und Aaron und traten ihnen entgegen
21 And they said to them, May the Lord take note of you and be your judge; for you have given Pharaoh and his servants a bad opinion of us, putting a sword in their hands for our destruction.
21 Ils leur dirent: Que l'Éternel vous regarde, et qu'il juge! Vous nous avez rendus odieux à Pharaon et à ses serviteurs, vous avez mis une épée dans leurs mains pour nous faire périr.
21 agus dúradar leo: “Go bhféacha an Tiarna anuas oraibh agus go dtuga sé breith oraibh mar chuir sibh olc ar Fhorann agus ar a shearbhóntaí chugainn, agus tá claíomh curtha ina láimh agaibh chun sinn a mharú.”
21 Dijéronles: Mire Jehová sobre vosotros, y juzgue; pues habéis hecho heder nuestro olor delante de Faraón y de sus siervos, dándoles el cuchillo en las manos para que nos maten.
21 und sprachen zu ihnen: Der HERR sehe auf euch und richte es, daß ihr unsern Geruch habt stinkend gemacht vor Pharao und seinen Knechten und habt ihnen das Schwert in die Hände gegeben, uns zu töten.
22 And Moses went back to the Lord and said, Lord, why have you done evil to this people? why have you sent me?
22 Moïse retourna vers l'Éternel, et dit: Seigneur, pourquoi as-tu fait du mal à ce peuple? pourquoi m'as-tu envoyé?
22 Agus d'fhill Maois arís ar an Tiarna: “Cad chuige duit, a Thiarna,” ar sé, “caitheamh chomh dian sin le do phobal? Cad chuige duit mé a sheoladh uait riamh?
22 Entonces Moisés se volvió á Jehová, y dijo: Señor, ¿por qué afliges á este pueblo? ¿para qué me enviaste?
22 Mose aber kam wieder zu dem HERRN und sprach: HERR, warum tust du so übel an diesem Volk? Warum hast du mich hergesandt?
23 For from the time when I came to Pharaoh to put your words before him, he has done evil to this people, and you have given them no help.
23 Depuis que je suis allé vers Pharaon pour parler en ton nom, il fait du mal à ce peuple, et tu n'as point délivré ton peuple.
