1 Now it came to the ears of Jacob that Laban's sons were saying, Jacob has taken away all our father's property, and in this way he has got all this wealth.
1 Jacob entendit les propos des fils de Laban, qui disaient: Jacob a pris tout ce qui était à notre père, et c'est avec le bien de notre père qu'il s'est acquis toute cette richesse.
1 Chuala Iacób go raibh clann mhac Lábán á rá: “Thóg Iacób leis a raibh ag ár n‑athair; tá an saibhreas seo cnuasta aige ó mhaoin ár n‑athar.”
1 Y Oia él las palabras de los hijos de Labán que decían: Jacob ha tomado todo lo que era de nuestro padre; y de lo que era de nuestro padre ha adquirido toda esta grandeza.
1 Und es kamen vor ihn die Reden der Kinder Labans, daß sie sprachen: Jakob hat alles Gut unsers Vaters an sich gebracht, und von unsers Vaters Gut hat er solchen Reichtum zuwege gebracht.
2 And Jacob saw that Laban's feeling for him was no longer what it had been before.
2 Jacob remarqua aussi le visage de Laban; et voici, il n'était plus envers lui comme auparavant.
2 Chonaic Iacób nach raibh gnaoi Lábán air faoi mar a bhíodh.
2 Miraba también Jacob el semblante de Labán, y veía que no era para con él como ayer y antes de ayer.
2 Und Jakob sah an das Angesicht Labans; und siehe, es war nicht gegen ihn wie gestern und ehegestern.
3 Then the Lord said to Jacob, Go back to the land of your fathers, and to your relations, and I will be with you.
3 Alors l'Éternel dit à Jacob: Retourne au pays de tes pères et dans ton lieu de naissance, et je serai avec toi.
3 Ansin dúirt an Tiarna le Iacób: “Fill ar thír do shinsear agus ar do mhuintir féin agus beidh mise farat.”
3 También Jehová dijo á Jacob: Vuélvete á la tierra de tus padres, y á tu parentela; que yo seré contigo.
3 Und der HERR sprach zu Jakob: Ziehe wieder in deiner Väter Land und zu deiner Freundschaft; ich will mit dir sein.
4 And Jacob sent for Rachel and Leah to come to him in the field among his flock.
4 Jacob fit appeler Rachel et Léa, qui étaient aux champs vers son troupeau.
4 Chuir Iacób dá bhrí sin fios ar Ráchael agus ar Léá chun na mbánta mar a raibh a thréada
4 Y envió Jacob, y llamó á Rachêl y á Lea al campo á sus ovejas,
4 Da sandte Jakob hin und ließ rufen Rahel und Lea aufs Feld zu seiner Herde
5 And he said to them, It is clear to me that your father's feeling is no longer what it was to me; but the God of my father has been with me
5 Il leur dit: Je vois, au visage de votre père, qu'il n'est plus envers moi comme auparavant; mais le Dieu de mon père a été avec moi.
5 agus dúirt sé leo: “Is léir dom nach bhfuil gnaoi bhur n‑athar orm feasta faoi mar a bhíodh, ach bhí Dia m'athar faram.
5 Y díjoles: Veo que el semblante de vuestro padre no es para conmigo como ayer y antes de ayer: mas el Dios de mi padre ha sido conmigo.
5 und sprach zu ihnen: Ich sehe eures Vaters Angesicht, daß es nicht gegen mich ist wie gestern und ehegestern; aber der Gott meines Vaters ist mit mir gewesen.
6 And you have seen how I have done all in my power for your father,
6 Vous savez vous-mêmes que j'ai servi votre père de tout mon pouvoir.
6 Tá a fhios agaibhse go bhfuil seirbhís déanta agam do bhur n‑athair le barr mo nirt.
6 Y vosotras sabéis que con todas mis fuerzas he servido á vuestro padre:
6 Und ihr wißt, daß ich aus allen meinen Kräften eurem Vater gedient habe.
7 But your father has not kept faith with me, and ten times he has made changes in my payment; but God has kept him from doing me damage.
7 Et votre père s'est joué de moi, et a changé dix fois mon salaire; mais Dieu ne lui a pas permis de me faire du mal.
7 Ach rinne bhur n‑athair calaois orm agus d'athraigh mo thuarastal deich n‑uaire; ach níor lig Dia dó dochar a déanamh dom.
7 Y vuestro padre me ha engañado, y me ha mudado el salario diez veces: pero Dios no le ha permitido que me hiciese mal.
7 Und er hat mich getäuscht und nun zehnmal meinen Lohn verändert; aber Gott hat ihm nicht gestattet, daß er mir Schaden täte.
8 If he said, All those in the flock which have marks are to be yours, then all the flock gave birth to marked young; and if he said, All the banded ones are to be yours, then all the flock had banded young.
8 Quand il disait: Les tachetés seront ton salaire, toutes les brebis faisaient des petits tachetés. Et quand il disait: Les rayés seront ton salaire, toutes les brebis faisaient des petits rayés.
8 Cibé uair a deireadh sé: ‘Bíodh na cinn bhreaca agat mar thuarastal,’ is óga breaca a bheireadh an tréad go léir; agus cibé uair a deireadh sé: ‘Bíodh na cinn bhallacha agat mar thuarastal,’ is óga ballacha a bheireadh an tréad go léir.
8 Si él decía así: Los pintados serán tu salario; entonces todas las ovejas parían pintados: y si decía así: Los listados serán tu salario; entonces todas las ovejas parían listados.
8 Wenn er sprach: Die Bunten sollen dein Lohn sein, so trug die ganze Herde Bunte. Wenn er aber sprach: Die Sprenkligen sollen dein Lohn sein, so trug die ganze Herde Sprenklinge.
9 So God has taken away your father's cattle and has given them to me.
9 Dieu a pris à votre père son troupeau, et me l'a donné.
9 Ar an gcaoi sin bhain Dia a stoc de bhur n‑athair agus thug domsa iad.
9 Así quitó Dios el ganado de vuestro padre, y diómelo á mí.
9 Also hat Gott die Güter eures Vaters ihm entwandt und mir gegeben.
10 And at the time when the flock were with young, I saw in a dream that all the he-goats which were joined with the she-goats were banded and marked and coloured.
10 Au temps où les brebis entraient en chaleur, je levai les yeux, et je vis en songe que les boucs qui couvraient les brebis étaient rayés, tachetés et marquetés.
10 Tharla i séasúr na cúplála gur ardaigh mé mo shúile i dtaibhreamh a bhí á dhéanamh dom agus go bhfaca mé gur fireannaigh bhreaca, bhallacha agus riabhacha a bhí ag reitheadh na mbaineannach.
10 Y sucedió que al tiempo que las ovejas se recalentaban, alcé yo mis ojos y vi en sueños, y he aquí los machos que cubrían á las hembras eran listados, pintados y abigarrados.
10 Denn wenn die Zeit des Laufs kam, hob ich meine Augen auf und sah im Traum, und siehe, die Böcke, die auf die Herde sprangen, waren sprenklig, gefleckt und bunt.
11 And in my dream the angel of the Lord said to me, Jacob: and I said, Here am I.
11 Et l'ange de Dieu me dit en songe: Jacob! Je répondis: Me voici!
11 Ansin dúirt aingeal Dé liom sa taibhreamh: ‘A Iacóib!’ ‘Anseo dom,’ arsa mise.
11 Y díjome el ángel de Dios en sueños: Jacob. Y yo dije: Heme aquí.
11 Und der Engel Gottes sprach zu mir im Traum: Jakob! Und ich antwortete: Hier bin ich.
12 And he said, See how all the he-goats are banded and marked and coloured: for I have seen what Laban has done to you.
12 Il dit: Lève les yeux, et regarde: tous les boucs qui couvrent les brebis sont rayés, tachetés et marquetés; car j'ai vu tout ce que te fait Laban.
12 Ansin dúirt sé: ‘Ardaigh do shúile agus féach: na fireannaigh go léir atá ag reitheadh baineannach an tréada, táid ballach, breac, nó riabhach óir chonaic mé a bhfuil á dhéanamh ag Lábán ort.
12 Y él dijo: Alza ahora tus ojos, y verás todos los machos que cubren á las ovejas listados, pintados y abigarrados; porque yo he visto todo lo que Labán te ha hecho.
12 Er aber sprach: Hebe deine Augen, und siehe, alle Böcke, die auf die Herde springen, sind sprenklig, gefleckt und bunt; denn ich habe alles gesehen, was dir Laban tut.
13 I am the God of Beth-el, where you put oil on the pillar and took an oath to me: now then, come out of this land and go back to the country of your birth.
13 Je suis le Dieu de Béthel, où tu as oint un monument, où tu m'as fait un voeu. Maintenant, lève-toi, sors de ce pays, et retourne au pays de ta naissance.

13 Yo soy el Dios de Beth-el, donde tú ungiste el título, y donde me hiciste un voto. Levántate ahora, y sal de esta tierra, y vuélvete á la tierra de tu naturaleza.
13 Ich bin der Gott zu Beth-El, da du den Stein gesalbt hast und mir daselbst ein Gelübde getan. Nun mache dich auf und zieh aus diesem Land und zieh wieder in das Land deiner Freundschaft.
14 Then Rachel and Leah said to him in answer, What part or heritage is there for us in our father's house?
14 Rachel et Léa répondirent, et lui dirent: Avons-nous encore une part et un héritage dans la maison de notre père?
14 Dúirt Ráchael agus Léá ansin: “An bhfuil aon fháltas nó aon oidhreacht fágtha dúinne i dteach ár n‑athar?

15 Are we not as people from a strange country to him? for he took a price for us and now it is all used up.
15 Ne sommes-nous pas regardées par lui comme des étrangères, puisqu'il nous a vendues, et qu'il a mangé notre argent?
15 Nach meas coimhthíoch atá aige orainn á rá is gur dhíol sé sinn agus gur chaith sé an mhaoin go léir a fuair sé orainn?
15 ¿No nos tiene ya como por extrañas, pues que nos vendió, y aun se ha comido del todo nuestro precio?
15 Hat er uns doch gehalten wie die Fremden; denn er hat uns verkauft und unsern Lohn verzehrt;
16 For the wealth which God has taken from him is ours and our children's; so now, whatever God has said to you, do.
16 Toute la richesse que Dieu a ôtée à notre père appartient à nous et à nos enfants. Fais maintenant tout ce que Dieu t'a dit.
16 An mhaoin go léir a thóg Dia ónár n‑athair, is linne í ar ndóigh agus lenár gclann. Déan dá réir sin gach ar ordaigh Dia duit.”
16 Porque toda la riqueza que Dios ha quitado á nuestro padre, nuestra es y de nuestros hijos: ahora pues, haz todo lo que Dios te ha dicho.
16 darum hat Gott unserm Vater entwandt seinen Reichtum zu uns und unsern Kindern. Alles nun, was Gott dir gesagt hat, das tue.
17 Then Jacob put his wives and his sons on camels;
17 Jacob se leva, et il fit monter ses enfants et ses femmes sur les chameaux.

17 Entonces se levantó Jacob, y subió sus hijos y sus mujeres sobre los camellos.
17 Also machte sich Jakob auf und lud seine Kinder und Weiber auf Kamele
18 And sending on before him all his cattle and his property which he had got together in Paddan-aram, he made ready to go to Isaac his father in the land of Canaan.
18 Il emmena tout son troupeau et tous les biens qu'il possédait, le troupeau qui lui appartenait, qu'il avait acquis à Paddan Aram; et il s'en alla vers Isaac, son père, au pays de Canaan.
18 agus thiomáin sé a airnéis go léir roimhe amach, an mhaoin go léir agus an airnéis úd leis a ghnóthaigh sé i bPadan Arám, agus thug aghaidh ar thír Chanán agus ar a athair Íosác.
18 Y puso en camino todo su ganado, y toda su hacienda que había adquirido, el ganado de su ganancia que había obtenido en Padan-aram, para volverse á Isaac su padre en la tierra de Canaán.
18 und führte weg all sein Vieh und alle seine Habe, die er zu Mesopotamien erworben hatte, daß er käme zu Isaak, seinem Vater, ins Land Kanaan.
19 Now Laban had gone to see to the cutting of the wool of his sheep; so Rachel secretly took the images of the gods of her father's house.
19 Tandis que Laban était allé tondre ses brebis, Rachel déroba les théraphim de son père;
19 Agus Lábán imithe ag bearradh a chuid caorach, ghoid Ráchael íola tí a hathar.
19 Y Labán había ido á trasquilar sus ovejas: y Rachêl hurtó los ídolos de su padre.
19 (Laban aber war gegangen sein Herde zu scheren.) Und Rahel stahl ihres Vaters Götzen.
20 And Jacob went away secretly, without giving news of his flight to Laban the Aramaean.
20 et Jacob trompa Laban, l'Araméen, en ne l'avertissant pas de sa fuite.
20 Bhuail Iacób bob ar Lábán an tArámach mar nár thug sé aon leid dó go raibh sé ar tí teitheadh.
20 Y recató Jacob el corazón de Labán Arameo, en no hacerle saber que se huía.
20 Also täuschte Jakob den Laban zu Syrien damit, daß er ihm nicht ansagte, daß er floh.
21 So he went away with all he had, and went across the River in the direction of the hill-country of Gilead.
21 Il s'enfuit, avec tout ce qui lui appartenait; il se leva, traversa le fleuve, et se dirigea vers la montagne de Galaad.
21 Theith sé lena a raibh aige agus d'imigh leis agus ghabh sé thar an Abhainn ag déanamh ar Shliabh Ghileád. Lábán sa Tóir ar Iacób
21 Huyó, pues, con todo lo que tenía; y levantóse, y pasó el río, y puso su rostro al monte de Galaad.
21 Also floh er und alles, was sein war, machte sich auf und fuhr über den Strom und richtete sich nach dem Berge Gilead.
22 And on the third day Laban had news of Jacob's flight.
22 Le troisième jour, on annonça à Laban que Jacob s'était enfui.
22 Trí lá ina dhiaidh sin insíodh do Lábán gur theith Iacób.
22 Y fué dicho á Labán al tercero día como Jacob se había huído.
22 Am dritten Tage ward Laban angesagt, daß Jakob geflohen wäre.
23 And taking the men of his family with him, he went after him for seven days and overtook him in the hill-country of Gilead.
23 Il prit avec lui ses frères, le poursuivit sept journées de marche, et l'atteignit à la montagne de Galaad.
23 Chuir sé tionól ar a bhráithreacha dá bhrí sin, agus chuaigh sa tóir air ar feadh seacht lá, agus tháinig suas leis ar Shliabh Ghileád.
23 Entonces tomó á sus hermanos consigo, y fué tras él camino de siete días, y alcanzóle en el monte de Galaad.
23 Und er nahm seine Brüder zu sich und jagte ihm nach sieben Tagereisen und ereilte ihn auf dem Berge Gilead.
24 Then God came to Laban in a dream by night, and said to him, Take care that you say nothing good or bad to Jacob.
24 Mais Dieu apparut la nuit en songe à Laban, l'Araméen, et lui dit: Garde-toi de parler à Jacob ni en bien ni en mal!
24 Ach tháinig an Tiarna i dtaibhreamh oíche chun Lábán an tArámach agus dúirt leis: “Ná habair aon ní ar aon chor ar aon chúinse le Iacób.”
24 Y vino Dios á Labán Arameo en sueños aquella noche, y le dijo: Guárdate que no hables á Jacob descomedidamente.
24 Aber Gott kam zu Laban, dem Syrer, im Traum des Nachts und sprach zu ihm: Hüte dich, daß du mit Jakob nicht anders redest als freundlich.
25 Now when Laban overtook him, Jacob had put up his tent in the hill-country; and Laban and his brothers put up their tents in the hill-country of Gilead.
25 Laban atteignit donc Jacob. Jacob avait dressé sa tente sur la montagne; Laban dressa aussi la sienne, avec ses frères, sur la montagne de Galaad.
25 Nuair a tháinig Lábán suas leis bhí a bhoth curtha suas ag Iacób sna sléibhte; agus chuir Lábán agus a bhráithre a mboth suas i Sliabh Ghileád.
25 Alcanzó pues Labán á Jacob, y éste había fijado su tienda en el monte: y Labán plantó la con sus hermanos en el monte de Galaad.
25 Und Laban nahte zu Jakob. Jakob aber hatte seine Hütte aufgeschlagen auf dem Berge; und Laban mit seinen Brüdern schlug seine Hütte auch auf auf dem Berge Gilead.
26 And Laban said to Jacob, Why did you go away secretly, taking my daughters away like prisoners of war?
26 Alors Laban dit à Jacob: Qu'as-tu fait? Pourquoi m'as-tu trompé, et emmènes-tu mes filles comme des captives par l'épée?
26 “Céard é seo a rinne tú orm,” arsa Lábán le Iacób, “ag déanamh calaoise orm agus ag sciobadh m'iníonacha leat mar chimí claímh?
26 Y dijo Labán á Jacob: ¿Qué has hecho, que me hurtaste el corazón, y has traído á mis hijas como prisioneras de guerra?
26 Da sprach Laban zu Jakob: Was hast du getan, daß du mich getäuscht hast und hast meine Töchter entführt, als wenn sie durchs Schwert gefangen wären?
27 Why did you make a secret of your flight, not giving me word of it, so that I might have sent you away with joy and songs, with melody and music?
27 Pourquoi as-tu pris la fuite en cachette, m'as-tu trompé, et ne m'as-tu point averti? Je t'aurais laissé partir au milieu des réjouissances et des chants, au son du tambourin et de la harpe.
27 Cén fáth ar theith tú faoi choim agus calaois a dhéanamh orm agus gan é a rá liom i dtreo go seolfainn uaim thú faoi lúcháir agus faoi chantaireacht, le tiompáin agus le cruiteanna.
27 ¿Por qué te escondiste para huir, y me hurtaste, y no me diste noticia, para que yo te enviara con alegría y con cantares, con tamborín y vihuela?
27 Warum bist du heimlich geflohen und hast dich weggestohlen und hast mir's nicht angesagt, daß ich dich hätte geleitet mit Freuden, mit Singen mit Pauken und Harfen?
28 You did not even let me give a kiss to my sons and my daughters. This was a foolish thing to do.
28 Tu ne m'as pas permis d'embrasser mes fils et mes filles! C'est en insensé que tu as agi.

29 It is in my power to do you damage: but the God of your father came to me this night, saying, Take care that you say nothing good or bad to Jacob.

29 Und ich hätte wohl so viel Macht, daß ich euch könnte Übles tun; aber eures Vaters Gott hat gestern zu mir gesagt: Hüte dich, daß du mit Jakob nicht anders als freundlich redest.
30 And now, it seems, you are going because your heart's desire is for your father's house; but why have you taken my gods?
30 Maintenant que tu es parti, parce que tu languissais après la maison de ton père, pourquoi as-tu dérobé mes dieux?
30 Fág gur imigh tú le barr síreachta i ndiaidh teach d'athar, cén fáth, ámh, ar ghoid tú mo dhéithe?”
30 Y ya que te ibas, porque tenías deseo de la casa de tu padre, ¿por qué me hurtaste mis dioses?
30 Und weil du denn ja wolltest ziehen und sehntest dich so sehr nach deines Vaters Hause, warum hast du mir meine Götter gestohlen?
31 And Jacob, in answer, said to Laban, My fear was that you might take your daughters from me by force.
31 Jacob répondit, et dit à Laban: J'avais de la crainte à la pensée que tu m'enlèverais peut-être tes filles.
31 D'fhreagair Iacób Lábán: “Bhí eagla orm mar gur mheas mé go mbainfeá d'iníonacha díom le láimh láidir.
31 Y Jacob respondió, y dijo á Labán: Porque tuve miedo; pues dije, que quizás me quitarías por fuerza tus hijas.
31 Jakob antwortete und sprach zu Laban: Ich fürchtete mich und dachte, du würdest deine Töchter von mir reißen.
32 As for your gods, if anyone of us has them, let him be put to death: make search before us all for what is yours, and take it. For Jacob had no knowledge that Rachel had taken them.
32 Mais périsse celui auprès duquel tu trouveras tes dieux! En présence de nos frères, examine ce qui t'appartient chez moi, et prends-le. Jacob ne savait pas que Rachel les eût dérobés.
32 Ach an té a bhfaighfear do dhéithe ina sheilbh, ní mhairfidh sé beo. Iniúch a bhfuil agam i láthair do bhráithre agus tóg aon ní is leat.” Ní raibh a fhios ag Iacób gur ghoid Ráchael iad.
32 En quien hallares tus dioses, no viva: delante de nuestros hermanos reconoce lo que yo tuviere tuyo, y llévatelo. Jacob no sabía que Rachêl los había hurtado.
32 Bei welchem du aber deine Götter findest, der sterbe hier vor unsern Brüdern. Suche das Deine bei mir und nimm's hin. Jakob wußte aber nicht, daß sie Rahel gestohlen hatte.
33 So Laban went into Jacob's tent and into Leah's tent, and into the tents of the two servant-women, but they were not there; and he came out of Leah's tent and went into Rachel's.
33 Laban entra dans la tente de Jacob, dans la tente de Léa, dans la tente des deux servantes, et il ne trouva rien. Il sortit de la tente de Léa, et entra dans la tente de Rachel.
33 Chuaigh Lábán dá bhrí sin isteach i mboth Iacóib agus i mboth Léá agus i mboth an bheirt ionailt, ach ní bhfuair sé iad. Tháinig sé amach as both Léá agus chuaigh sé isteach i mboth Ráchael.
33 Y entró Labán en la tienda de Jacob, y en la tienda de Lea, y en la tienda de las dos siervas, y no los halló, y salió de la tienda de Lea, y vino á la tienda de Rachêl.
33 Da ging Laban in die Hütten Jakobs und Leas und der beiden Mägde, und fand nichts; und ging aus der Hütte Leas in die Hütte Rahels.
34 Now Rachel had taken the images, and had put them in the camels' basket, and was seated on them. And Laban, searching through all the tent, did not come across them.
34 Rachel avait pris les théraphim, les avait mis sous le bât du chameau, et s'était assise dessus. Laban fouilla toute la tente, et ne trouva rien.
34 Ach bhí na híola tógtha ag Ráchael agus curtha in úim an chamaill agus bhí sí ina suí orthu. D'iniúch Lábán a raibh sa bhoth ach gan aon ní a fháil.
34 Y tomó Rachêl los ídolos, y púsolos en una albarda de un camello, y sentóse sobre ellos: y tentó Labán toda la tienda y no los halló.
34 Da nahm Rahel die Götzen und legte sie unter den Kamelsattel und setzte sich darauf. Laban aber betastete die ganze Hütte und fand nichts.
35 And she said to her father, Let not my lord be angry because I do not get up before you, for I am in the common condition of women. And with all his searching, he did not come across the images.
35 Elle dit à son père: Que mon seigneur ne se fâche point, si je ne puis me lever devant toi, car j'ai ce qui est ordinaire aux femmes. Il chercha, et ne trouva point les théraphim.
35 Ansin dúirt [Ráchael] lena hathair: “Ná bíodh fearg ar mo thiarna mar nach dtig liom éirí i do láthair, mar táim dála na mban anois agus arís.” Chuardaigh sé dá bhrí sin ach ní bhfuair sé na híola.
35 Y ella dijo á su padre: No se enoje mi señor, porque no me puedo levantar delante de ti; pues estoy con la costumbre de las mujeres. Y él buscó, pero no halló los ídolos.
35 Da sprach sie zu ihrem Vater: Mein Herr, zürne mir nicht, denn ich kann nicht aufstehen vor dir, denn es geht mir nach der Frauen Weise. Also fand er die Götzen nicht, wie sehr er suchte.
36 Then Jacob was angry with Laban, and said, What crime or sin have I done that you have come after me with such passion?
36 Jacob s'irrita, et querella Laban. Il reprit la parole, et lui dit: Quel est mon crime, quel est mon péché, que tu me poursuives avec tant d'ardeur?
36 Tháinig fearg ar Iacób ansin agus thug sé scalladh teanga do Lábán: dúirt Iacób le Lábán: “Cén choir nó cén peaca a rinne mé go bhfuil tú sa tóir orm chomh dian sin?
36 Entonces Jacob se enojó, y regañó con Labán; y respondió Jacob y dijo á Labán: ¿Qué prevaricación es la mía? ¿cuál es mi pecado, que con tanto ardor has venido en seguimiento mío?
36 Und Jakob ward zornig und schalt Laban und sprach zu ihm: Was habe ich mißgehandelt oder gesündigt, daß du so auf mich erhitzt bist?
37 Now that you have made search through all my goods, what have you seen which is yours? Make it clear now before my people and your people, so that they may be judges between us.
37 Quand tu as fouillé tous mes effets, qu'as-tu trouvé des effets de ta maison? Produis-le ici devant mes frères et tes frères, et qu'ils prononcent entre nous deux.
37 Níor fhág tú aon ní de m'aistrithe gan a chuardach; an bhfuair tú aon ní a bhaineann le do theach féin? Cuir anseo é más ea os comhair mo bhráithrese agus do bhráithrese i dtreo go dtabharfaidís breith eadrainn araon.
37 Pues que has tentado todos mis muebles, ¿qué has hallado de todas las alhajas de tu casa? Ponlo aquí denlante de mis hermanos y tuyos, y juzguen entre nosotros ambos.
37 Du hast allen meinen Hausrat betastet. Was hast du von meinem Hausrat gefunden? Lege das dar vor meinen und deinen Brüdern, daß sie zwischen uns beiden richten.
38 These twenty years I have been with you; your sheep and your goats have had young without loss, not one of your he-goats have I taken for food.
38 Voilà vingt ans que j'ai passés chez toi; tes brebis et tes chèvres n'ont point avorté, et je n'ai point mangé les béliers de ton troupeau.
38 Tá fiche bliain caite agam farat; níor chaill do chaoirigh a n‑uain ná do ghabhair a meannáin i gcaitheamh an ama sin, ná níor ith mé aon cheann de reithí do thréada.
38 Estos veinte años he estado contigo: tus ovejas y tus cabras nunca abortaron, ni yo comí carnero de tus ovejas.
38 Diese zwanzig Jahre bin ich bei dir gewesen, deine Schafe und Ziegen sind nicht unfruchtbar gewesen; die Widder deiner Herde habe ich nie gegessen;
39 Anything which was wounded by beasts I did not take to you, but myself made up for the loss of it; you made me responsible for whatever was taken by thieves, by day or by night.
39 Je ne t'ai point rapporté de bêtes déchirées, j'en ai payé le dommage; tu me redemandais ce qu'on me volait de jour et ce qu'on me volait de nuit.

40 This was my condition, wasted by heat in the day and by the bitter cold at night; and sleep went from my eyes.
40 La chaleur me dévorait pendant le jour, et le froid pendant la nuit, et le sommeil fuyait de mes yeux.

41 These twenty years I have been in your house; I was your servant for fourteen years because of your daughters, and for six years I kept your flock, and ten times was my payment changed.
41 Voilà vingt ans que j'ai passés dans ta maison; je t'ai servi quatorze ans pour tes deux filles, et six ans pour ton troupeau, et tu as changé dix fois mon salaire.
41 Tá fiche bliain caite agam i do theach: rinne mé seirbhís duit ar feadh ceithre bliana déag ar son do bheirt iníon, agus sé bliana ar son do thréada, agus d'athraigh tú mo thuarastal deich n‑uaire.
41 Así he estado veinte años en tu casa: catorce años te serví por tus dos hijas, y seis años por tu ganado; y has mudado mi salario diez veces.
41 Also habe ich diese zwanzig Jahre in deinem Hause gedient, vierzehn um deine Töchter und sechs um deine Herde, und du hast mir meinen Lohn zehnmal verändert.
42 If the God of my father, the God of Abraham and the Fear of Isaac, had not been with me, you would have sent me away with nothing in my hands. But God has seen my troubles and the work of my hands, and this night he kept you back.
42 Si je n'eusse pas eu pour moi le Dieu de mon père, le Dieu d'Abraham, celui que craint Isaac, tu m'aurais maintenant renvoyé à vide. Dieu a vu ma souffrance et le travail de mes mains, et hier il a prononcé son jugement.
42 Mura mbeadh Dia m'athar, agus Dia Abrahám, agus Gaol Íosác a bheith ar mo thaobh, bhíos curtha chun siúil beo bocht agat. D'fhéach Dia ar mo thuirse agus ar shaothar mo lámh agus thug sé breith ort aréir.” Conradh idir Iacób agus Lábán
42 Si el Dios de mi padre, el Dios de Abraham, y el temor de Isaac, no fuera conmigo, de cierto me enviarías ahora vacío: vió Dios mi aflicción y el trabajo de mis manos, y reprendióte anoche.
42 Wo nicht der Gott meines Vaters, der Gott Abrahams und die Furcht Isaaks, auf meiner Seite gewesen wäre, du hättest mich leer lassen ziehen. Aber Gott hat mein Elend und meine Mühe angesehen und hat dich gestern gestraft.
43 Then Laban, answering, said, These women are my daughters and these children my children, the flocks and all you see are mine: what now may I do for my daughters and for their children?
43 Laban répondit, et dit à Jacob: Ces filles sont mes filles, ces enfants sont mes enfants, ce troupeau est mon troupeau, et tout ce que tu vois est à moi. Et que puis-je faire aujourd'hui pour mes filles, ou pour leurs enfants qu'elles ont mis au monde?
43 Ansin d'fhreagair Lábán: “Na hiníonacha seo,” ar sé, le Iacób, “is iníonacha liomsa iad; agus an chlann, is clann liomsa iad; agus na tréada, is tréada liomsa iad; agus gach a bhfeiceann tú, is liomsa iad. Ach cad a d'fhéadfainn a dhéanamh inniu le m'iníonacha nó leis an gclann a d'iompar siad?
43 Y respondió Labán, y dijo á Jacob: Las hijas son hijas mías, y los hijos, hijos míos son, y las ovejas son mis ovejas, y todo lo que tú ves es mío: ¿y que puedo yo hacer hoy á estas mis hijas, ó á sus hijos que ellas han parido?
43 Laban antwortete und sprach zu Jakob: Die Töchter sind meine Töchter, und die Kinder sind meine Kinder, und die Herden sind meine Herden, und alles, was du siehst, ist mein. Was kann ich meinen Töchtern heute oder ihren Kindern tun, die sie geboren haben?
44 Come, let us make an agreement, you and I; and let it be for a witness between us.
44 Viens, faisons alliance, moi et toi, et que cela serve de témoignage entre moi et toi!
44 Téanam anois agus déanaimis conradh, mise agus tusa; agus bíodh sé ina fhinné idir mé agus tú.”
44 Ven pues ahora, hagamos alianza yo y tú; y sea en testimonio entre mí y entre ti.
44 So komm nun und laß uns einen Bund machen, ich und du, der ein Zeugnis sei zwischen mir und dir.
45 Then Jacob took a stone and put it up as a pillar.
45 Jacob prit une pierre, et il la dressa pour monument.
45 Thóg Iacób cloch agus chuir ina seasamh í mar ghallán cuimhneacháin.
45 Entonces Jacob tomó una piedra, y levantóla por título.
45 Da nahm Jakob einen Stein und richtete ihn auf zu einem Mal.
46 And Jacob said to his people, Get stones together; and they did so; and they had a meal there by the stones.
46 Jacob dit à ses frères: Ramassez des pierres. Ils prirent des pierres, et firent un monceau; et ils mangèrent là sur le monceau.
46 Dúirt Iacób lena bhráithre: “Cruinnigí clocha,” agus chruinníodar roinnt cloch agus rinneadar carn. D'itheadar béile ansiúd ar an gcarn.
46 Y dijo Jacob á sus hermanos: Coged piedras. Y tomaron piedras é hicieron un majano; y comieron allí sobre aquel majano.
46 und sprach zu seinen Brüdern: Leset Steine auf! Und sie nahmen Steine und machten einen Haufen und aßen auf dem Haufen.
47 And the name Laban gave it was Jegar-sahadutha: but Jacob gave it the name of Galeed.
47 Laban l'appela Jegar Sahadutha, et Jacob l'appela Galed.
47 Thug Lábán Iagar Sáhadútá [Carn na bhFinnéithe] air ach thug Iacób Galaed [Carn na Fianaise].
47 Y llamólo Labán Jegar Sahadutha: y lo llamó Jacob Galaad.
47 Und Laban hieß ihn Jegar-Sahadutha; Jakob aber hieß ihn Gilead.
48 And Laban said, These stones are a witness between you and me today. For this reason its name was Galeed,
48 Laban dit: Que ce monceau serve aujourd'hui de témoignage entre moi et toi! C'est pourquoi on lui a donné le nom de Galed.
48 Dúirt Lábán: “Bíodh an carn seo ina fhinné idir mé agus tú inniu.” Uime sin a thug sé Galaed air,
48 Porque Labán dijo: Este majano es testigo hoy entre mí y entre ti; por eso fué llamado su nombre Galaad.
48 Da sprach Laban: Der Haufe sei heute Zeuge zwischen mir und dir (daher heißt man ihn Gilead)
49 And Mizpah, for he said, May the Lord keep watch on us when we are unable to see one another's doings.
49 On l'appelle aussi Mitspa, parce que Laban dit: Que l'Éternel veille sur toi et sur moi, quand nous nous serons l'un et l'autre perdus de vue.
49 agus [ar an ngallán] Miozpá [Láthair Faire], mar a dúirt sé: “Bíodh an Tiarna ina fhear faire eadrainn nuair a scarfaimid ó radharc a chéile.
49 Y Mizpa, por cuanto dijo: Atalaye Jehová entre mí y entre ti, cuando nos apartáremos el uno del otro.
49 und sei eine Warte; denn er sprach: Der HERR sehe darein zwischen mir und dir, wenn wir voneinander kommen,
50 If you are cruel to my daughters, or if you take other wives in addition to my daughters, then though no man is there to see, God will be the witness between us.
50 Si tu maltraites mes filles, et si tu prends encore d'autres femmes, ce n'est pas un homme qui sera avec nous, prends-y garde, c'est Dieu qui sera témoin entre moi et toi.
50 Má dhéanann tú leatrom ar m'iníonacha nó má ghlacann tú mná eile seachas m'iníonacha, cuimhnigh air, tá Dia ina fhinné eadrainn, fág nach mbeidh aon duine farainn.”
50 Si afligieres mis hijas, ó si tomares otras mujeres además de mis hijas, nadie está con nosotros; mira, Dios es testigo entre mí y entre ti.
50 wo du meine Töchter bedrückst oder andere Weiber dazunimmst über meine Töchter. Es ist kein Mensch hier mit uns; siehe aber, Gott ist der Zeuge zwischen mir und dir.
51 And Laban said, See these stones and this pillar which I have put between you and me;
51 Laban dit à Jacob: Voici ce monceau, et voici ce monument que j'ai élevé entre moi et toi.
51 Dúirt Lábán le Iacób: “Sin é an carn agus sin é an gallán a chuir mé eadrainn.
51 Dijo más Labán á Jacob: He aquí este majano, y he aquí este título, que he erigido entre mí y ti.
51 Und Laban sprach weiter zu Jakob: Siehe, das ist der Haufe, und das ist das Mal, das ich aufgerichtet habe zwischen mir und dir.
52 They will be witness that I will not go over these stones to you, and you will not go over these stones or this pillar to me, for any evil purpose.
52 Que ce monceau soit témoin et que ce monument soit témoin que je n'irai point vers toi au delà de ce monceau, et que tu ne viendras point vers moi au delà de ce monceau et de ce monument, pour agir méchamment.
52 Is finné é an carn agus is finné é an gallán, nach rachaidh mise thar an gcarn seo i d'aghaidh-sé agus nach rachaidh tusa thar an gcarn seo ná an gallán seo i m'aghaidhse.
52 Testigo sea este majano, y testigo sea este título, que ni yo pasaré contra ti este majano, ni tú pasarás contra mí este majano ni este título, para mal.
52 Derselbe Haufe sei Zeuge, und das Mal sei auch Zeuge, wenn ich herüberfahre zu dir oder du herüberfährst zu mir über diesen Haufen und dies Mal, zu beschädigen.
53 May the God of Abraham and the God of Nahor, the God of their father, be our judge. Then Jacob took an oath by the Fear of his father Isaac.
53 Que le Dieu d'Abraham et de Nachor, que le Dieu de leur père soit juge entre nous. Jacob jura par celui que craignait Isaac.
53 Go raibh Dia Abrahám agus dia Náchór [dia a n‑aithreacha] ina bhreitheamh eadrainn.” Ansin mhionnaigh Iacób dar Ghaol a athar Íosác,
53 El Dios de Abraham, y el Dios de Nachôr juzgue entre nosotros, el Dios de sus padres. Y Jacob juró por el temor de Isaac su padre.
53 Der Gott Abrahams und der Gott Nahors, der Gott ihres Vaters sei Richter zwischen uns.
54 And Jacob made an offering on the mountain, and gave orders to his people to take food: so they had a meal and took their rest that night on the mountain.
54 Jacob offrit un sacrifice sur la montagne, et il invita ses frères à manger; ils mangèrent donc, et passèrent la nuit sur la montagne.
54 agus d'ofráil Iacób íobairt ar an sliabh agus ghlaoigh ar a bhráithre chun an bhéile. D'itheadar an béile agus chaitheadar an oíche go léir ar an sliabh.
54 Entonces Jacob inmoló víctimas en el monte, y llamó á sus hermanos á comer pan: y comieron pan, y durmieron aquella noche en el monte.
54 Und Jakob schwur ihm bei der Furcht seines Vaters Isaak. Und Jakob opferte auf dem Berge und lud seine Brüder zum Essen. Und da sie gegessen hatten, blieben sie auf dem Berge über Nacht.
55 And early in the morning Laban, after kissing and blessing his daughters, went on his way back to his country.
55 Laban se leva de bon matin, baisa ses fils et ses filles, et les bénit. Ensuite il partit pour retourner dans sa demeure.
