1 After these things, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, Have no fear, Abram: I will keep you safe, and great will be your reward.
1 Après ces événements, la parole de l'Éternel fut adressée à Abram dans une vision, et il dit: Abram, ne crains point; je suis ton bouclier, et ta récompense sera très grande.
1 Tamall tar éis na nithe sin tháinig briathar an Tiarna chun Abrám i bhfís á rá: “Ná bíodh eagla ort, a Abrám. Is mé do sciath; beidh luach saothair an-mhór agat.”
1 Después de estas cosas fué la palabra de Jehová á Abram en visión, diciendo: No temas, Abram; yo soy tu escudo, y tu galardón sobremanera grande.
1 Nach diesen Geschichten begab sich's, daß zu Abram geschah das Wort des HERRN im Gesicht und sprach: Fürchte dich nicht Abram! Ich bin dein Schild und dein sehr großer Lohn.
2 And Abram said, What will you give me? for I have no child and this Eliezer of Damascus will have all my wealth after me.
2 Abram répondit: Seigneur Éternel, que me donneras-tu? Je m'en vais sans enfants; et l'héritier de ma maison, c'est Éliézer de Damas.
2 “A Thiarna Dia liom,” arsa Abrám, “cad a thabharfaidh tú dom? Táim fós gan chlann...
2 Y respondió Abram: Señor Jehová ¿qué me has de dar, siendo así que ando sin hijo, y el mayordomo de mi casa es ese Damasceno Eliezer?
2 Abram sprach aber: HERR HERR, was willst du mir geben? Ich gehe dahin ohne Kinder; und dieser Elieser von Damaskus wird mein Haus besitzen.
3 And Abram said, You have given me no child, and a servant in my house will get the heritage.
3 Et Abram dit: Voici, tu ne m'as pas donné de postérité, et celui qui est né dans ma maison sera mon héritier.
3 Féach,” arsa Abrám ansin, “níor thug tú aon sliocht orm i dtreo go mbeidh daor a rugadh i mo theach féin ina oidhre orm.”
3 Dijo más Abram: Mira que no me has dado prole, y he aquí que es mi heredero uno nacido en mi casa.
3 Und Abram sprach weiter: Mir hast du keinen Samen gegeben; und siehe, einer von meinem Gesinde soll mein Erbe sein.
4 Then said the Lord, This man will not get the heritage, but a son of your body will have your property after you.
4 Alors la parole de l'Éternel lui fut adressée ainsi: Ce n'est pas lui qui sera ton héritier, mais c'est celui qui sortira de tes entrailles qui sera ton héritier.
4 Agus féach! tháinig briathar an Tiarna chuige gan mhoill: “Ní hé an fear seo a bheidh ina oidhre ort. Beidh mac a ghinfear ó do leasracha féin ina oidhre ort.”
4 Y luego la palabra de Jehová fué á él diciendo: No te heredará éste, sino el que saldrá de tus entrañas será el que te herede.
4 Und siehe, der HERR sprach zu ihm: Er soll nicht dein Erbe sein; sondern der von deinem Leib kommen wird, der soll dein Erbe sein.
5 And he took him out into the open air, and said to him, Let your eyes be lifted to heaven, and see if the stars may be numbered; even so will your seed be.
5 Et après l'avoir conduit dehors, il dit: Regarde vers le ciel, et compte les étoiles, si tu peux les compter. Et il lui dit: Telle sera ta postérité.
5 Agus thug sé leis amach é agus dúirt: “Féach suas ar an spéir agus comhair na réaltaí más féidir duit iad a áireamh. Mar sin,” ar sé ansin, “a bheidh do shíol.”
5 Y sacóle fuera, y dijo: Mira ahora á los cielos, y cuenta las estrellas, si las puedes contar. Y le dijo: Así será tu simiente.
5 Und er hieß ihn hinausgehen und sprach: Siehe gen Himmel und zähle die Sterne; kannst du sie zählen? und sprach zu ihm: Also soll dein Same werden.
6 And he had faith in the Lord, and it was put to his account as righteousness.
6 Abram eut confiance en l'Éternel, qui le lui imputa à justice.
6 Agus chreid seisean an Tiarna agus mheas an Tiarna é sin mar fhíréantacht aige.
6 Y creyó á Jehová, y contóselo por justicia.
6 Abram glaubte dem HERRN, und das rechnete er ihm zur Gerechtigkeit.
7 And he said to him, I am the Lord, who took you from Ur of the Chaldees, to give you this land for your heritage.
7 L'Éternel lui dit encore: Je suis l'Éternel, qui t'ai fait sortir d'Ur en Chaldée, pour te donner en possession ce pays.
7 “Mise an Tiarna,” ar sé leis, “a thug tú amach as Úr na gCaildéach, chun go dtabharfainn an tír seo duit mar oidhreacht.”
7 Y díjole: Yo soy Jehová, que te saqué de Ur de los Caldeos, para darte á heredar esta tierra.
7 Und er sprach zu ihm: Ich bin der HERR, der dich von Ur in Chaldäa ausgeführt hat, daß ich dir dies Land zu besitzen gebe.
8 And he said, O Lord God, how may I be certain that it will be mine?
8 Abram répondit: Seigneur Éternel, à quoi connaîtrai-je que je le posséderai?
8 “A Thiarna Dia liom,” ar sé, “cá bhfios dom go mbeidh sé mar oidhreacht agam?”
8 Y él respondió: Señor Jehová ¿en qué conoceré que la tengo de heredar?
8 Abram aber sprach: HERR HERR, woran soll ich merken, daß ich's besitzen werde?
9 And he said, Take a young cow of three years old, and a she-goat of three years old, and a sheep of three years old, and a dove and a young pigeon.
9 Et l'Éternel lui dit: Prends une génisse de trois ans, une chèvre de trois ans, un bélier de trois ans, une tourterelle et une jeune colombe.
9 “Tabhair dom,” ar sé, “bearach trí bliana, minseach trí bliana, reithe trí bliana, colúr, agus colm óg.”
9 Y le dijo: Apártame una becerra de tres años, y una cabra de tres años, y un carnero de tres años, una tórtola también, y un palomino.
9 Und er sprach zu ihm: Bringe mir eine dreijährige Kuh und eine dreijährige Ziege und einen dreijährigen Widder und eine Turteltaube und eine junge Taube.
10 All these he took, cutting them in two and putting one half opposite the other, but not cutting the birds in two.
10 Abram prit tous ces animaux, les coupa par le milieu, et mit chaque morceau l'un vis-à-vis de l'autre; mais il ne partagea point les oiseaux.
10 Thug sé iadsan go léir chuige; ghearr sé ina dhá leath gach ceann acu agus chuir sé leath ar thaobh agus leath ar an taobh eile os a chomhair sall, ach nár ghearr sé na héin.
10 Y tomó él todas estas cosas, y partiólas por la mitad, y puso cada mitad una enfrente de otra; mas no partió las aves.
10 Und er brachte ihm solches alles und zerteilte es mitten voneinander und legte einen Teil dem andern gegenüber; aber die Vögel zerteilte er nicht.
11 And evil birds came down on the bodies, but Abram sent them away.
11 Les oiseaux de proie s'abattirent sur les cadavres; et Abram les chassa.
11 Nuair a bhíodh éanlaith chreiche ag teacht anuas ar na conablaigh, chuireadh Abrám an ruaig orthu.
11 Y descendían aves sobre los cuerpos muertos, y ojeábalas Abram.
11 Und die Raubvögel fielen auf die Aase; aber Abram scheuchte sie davon.
12 Now when the sun was going down, a deep sleep came on Abram, and a dark cloud of fear.
12 Au coucher du soleil, un profond sommeil tomba sur Abram; et voici, une frayeur et une grande obscurité vinrent l'assaillir.
12 Le luí na gréine thit tromchodladh ar Abrám agus bhuail scéin é.
12 Mas á la caída del sol sobrecogió el sueño á Abram, y he aquí que el pavor de una grande obscuridad cayó sobre él.
12 Da nun die Sonne am Untergehen war, fiel ein tiefer Schlaf auf Abram; und siehe, Schrecken und große Finsternis überfiel ihn.
13 And he said to Abram, Truly, your seed will be living in a land which is not theirs, as servants to a people who will be cruel to them for four hundred years;
13 Et l'Éternel dit à Abram: Sache que tes descendants seront étrangers dans un pays qui ne sera point à eux; ils y seront asservis, et on les opprimera pendant quatre cents ans.
13 Ansin dúirt an Tiarna le hAbrám: “Bíodh a fhios seo agat go dearfa: beidh do shíol ina ndeoraithe i dtír nach leo, mar a mbeidh siad ina ndaoir agus mar a mbeidh siad faoi leatrom ar feadh ceithre chéad bliain.
13 Entonces dijo á Abram: Ten por cierto que tu simiente será peregrina en tierra no suya, y servirá á los de allí, y serán por ellos afligidos cuatrocientos años.
13 Da sprach er zu Abram: Das sollst du wissen, daß dein Same wird fremd sein in einem Lande, das nicht sein ist; und da wird man sie zu dienen zwingen und plagen vierhundert Jahre.
14 But I will be the judge of that nation whose servants they are, and they will come out from among them with great wealth.
14 Mais je jugerai la nation à laquelle ils seront asservis, et ils sortiront ensuite avec de grandes richesses.
14 Ach déanfaidh mise breithiúnas chomh maith ar an gcine faoina mbeidh siad i ndaoirse, agus tiocfaidh siad amach ina dhiaidh sin le mórán maoine.
14 Mas también á la gente á quien servirán, juzgaré yo; y después de esto saldrán con grande riqueza.
14 Aber ich will richten das Volk, dem sie dienen müssen. Darnach sollen sie ausziehen mit großem Gut.
15 As for you, you will go to your fathers in peace; at the end of a long life you will be put in your last resting-place.
15 Toi, tu iras en paix vers tes pères, tu seras enterré après une heureuse vieillesse.
15 Maidir leat féin, imeoidh tú chun d'aithreacha i síocháin; beidh aois mhór agat ag dul faoin gcré duit.
15 Y tú vendrás á tus padres en paz, y serás sepultado en buena vejez.
15 Und du sollst fahren zu deinen Vätern mit Frieden und in gutem Alter begraben werden.
16 And in the fourth generation they will come back here; for at present the sin of the Amorite is not full.
16 A la quatrième génération, ils reviendront ici; car l'iniquité des Amoréens n'est pas encore à son comble.
16 Fillfidh siad ar ais anseo sa cheathrú glúin, mar níl urchóid na nAmórach iomlán fós.”
16 Y en la cuarta generación volverán acá: porque aun no está cumplida la maldad del Amorrheo hasta aquí.
16 Sie aber sollen nach vier Mannesaltern wieder hierher kommen; denn die Missetat der Amoriter ist noch nicht voll.
17 Then when the sun went down and it was dark, he saw a smoking fire and a flaming light which went between the parts of the bodies.
17 Quand le soleil fut couché, il y eut une obscurité profonde; et voici, ce fut une fournaise fumante, et des flammes passèrent entre les animaux partagés.
17 Tar éis don ghrian dul faoi dá bhrí sin agus gur thit an dorchadas, chonacthas foirnéis dheataigh tine agus lóchrann ar lasadh ag gabháil idir na codanna roinnte úd.
17 Y sucedió que puesto el sol, y ya obscurecido, dejóse ver un horno humeando, y una antorcha de fuego que pasó por entre los animales divididos.
17 Als nun die Sonne untergegangen und es finster geworden war, siehe, da rauchte ein Ofen, und ein Feuerflamme fuhr zwischen den Stücken hin.
18 In that day the Lord made an agreement with Abram, and said, To your seed have I given this land from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates:
18 En ce jour-là, l'Éternel fit alliance avec Abram, et dit: Je donne ce pays à ta postérité, depuis le fleuve d'Égypte jusqu'au grand fleuve, au fleuve d'Euphrate,
18 Rinne an Tiarna Conradh le hAbrám an lá sin á rá: “Tabharfaidh mé do do shliocht an dúiche seo ó Abhainn na hÉigipte go dtí an Abhainn Mhór, an Eofrataes,
18 En aquel día hizo Jehová un pacto con Abram diciendo: A tu simiente daré esta tierra desde el río de Egipto hasta el río grande, el río Eufrates;
18 An dem Tage machte der HERR einen Bund mit Abram und sprach: Deinem Samen will ich dies Land geben, von dem Wasser Ägyptens an bis an das große Wasser Euphrat:
19 The Kenite, the Kenizzite, and the Kadmonite,
19 le pays des Kéniens, des Keniziens, des Kadmoniens,
19 mar a gcónaíonn na Céinigh agus na Cinizigh agus na Cadmónaigh agus na
19 Los Cineos, y los Ceneceos, y los Cedmoneos,
19 die Keniter, die Kenisiter, die Kadmoniter,
20 And the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Rephaim,
20 des Héthiens, des Phéréziens, des Rephaïm,
20 Hitigh, agus na Pirizigh, agus na Rafáím,
20 Y los Hetheos, y los Pherezeos, y los Raphaitas,
20 die Hethiter, die Pheresiter, die Riesen,
21 And the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Girgashite, and the Jebusite.
21 des Amoréens, des Cananéens, des Guirgasiens et des Jébusiens.
