1 And Abram went up out of Egypt with his wife and all he had, and Lot with him, and they came in to the South.
1 Abram remonta d'Égypte vers le midi, lui, sa femme, et tout ce qui lui appartenait, et Lot avec lui.

1 Subio, pues, Abram de Egipto hacia el Mediodía, él y su mujer, con todo lo que tenía, y con él Lot.
1 Also zog Abram herauf aus Ägypten mit seinem Weibe und mit allem, was er hatte, und Lot auch mit ihm, ins Mittagsland.
2 Now Abram had great wealth of cattle and silver and gold.
2 Abram était très riche en troupeaux, en argent et en or.
2 Bhí Abrám an-saibhir le heallach, le hairgead agus le hór.
2 Y Abram era riquísimo en ganado, en plata y oro.
2 Abram aber war sehr reich an Vieh, Silber und Gold.
3 And travelling on from the South, he came to Beth-el, to the place where his tent had been before, between Beth-el and Ai;
3 Il dirigea ses marches du midi jusqu'à Béthel, jusqu'au lieu où était sa tente au commencement, entre Béthel et Aï,

3 Y volvió por sus jornadas de la parte del Mediodía hacia Bethel, hasta el lugar donde había estado antes su tienda entre Bethel y Hai;
3 Und er zog immer fort von Mittag bis gen Beth-El, an die Stätte, da am ersten seine Hütte war, zwischen Beth-El und Ai,
4 To the place where he had made his first altar, and there Abram gave worship to the name of the Lord.
4 au lieu où était l'autel qu'il avait fait précédemment. Et là, Abram invoqua le nom de l'Éternel.
4 mar ar thóg sé altóir roimhe sin. Ghair Abrám ar ainm an Tiarna ansiúd.
4 Al lugar del altar que había hecho allí antes: é invocó allí Abram el nombre de Jehová.
4 eben an den Ort, da er zuvor den Altar gemacht hatte. Und er predigte allda den Namen des HERRN.
5 And Lot, who went with him, had flocks and herds and tents;
5 Lot, qui voyageait avec Abram, avait aussi des brebis, des boeufs et des tentes.
5 Agus Lót a bhí ag taisteal fara Abrám, bhí tréada agus eallach agus bothanna leis féin aige
5 Y asimismo Lot, que andaba con Abram, tenía ovejas, y vacas, y tiendas.
5 Lot aber, der mit Abram zog, der hatte auch Schafe und Rinder und Hütten.
6 So that the land was not wide enough for the two of them: their property was so great that there was not room for them together.
6 Et la contrée était insuffisante pour qu'ils demeurassent ensemble, car leurs biens étaient si considérables qu'ils ne pouvaient demeurer ensemble.
6 i dtreo nár fhéad an talamh iad araon le chéile a chothú mar bhí an iomad maoine acu chun cónaí le chéile.
6 Y la tierra no podía darles para que habitasen juntos: porque su hacienda era mucha, y no podían morar en un mismo lugar.
6 Und das Land konnte es nicht ertragen, daß sie beieinander wohnten; denn ihre Habe war groß, und konnten nicht beieinander wohnen.
7 And there was an argument between the keepers of Abram's cattle and the keepers of Lot's cattle: at that time the Canaanites and Perizzites were still living in the land.
7 Il y eut querelle entre les bergers des troupeaux d'Abram et les bergers des troupeaux de Lot. Les Cananéens et les Phérésiens habitaient alors dans le pays.
7 Tharla aighneas dá bhrí sin idir aoirí thréad Abrám agus aoirí thréad Lót [bhí na Canánaigh agus na Pirizigh ina gcónaí sa tír an uair sin].
7 Y hubo contienda entre los pastores del ganado de Abram y los pastores del ganado de Lot: y el Cananeo y el Pherezeo habitaban entonces en la tierra.
7 Und es war immer Zank zwischen den Hirten über Abrams Vieh und zwischen den Hirten über Lots Vieh. So wohnten auch zu der Zeit die Kanaaniter und Pheresiter im Lande.
8 Then Abram said to Lot, Let there be no argument between me and you, and between my herdmen and your herdmen, for we are brothers.
8 Abram dit à Lot: Qu'il n'y ait point, je te prie, de dispute entre moi et toi, ni entre mes bergers et tes bergers; car nous sommes frères.
8 Dúirt Abrám más ea le Lót: “Ná bíodh aon aighneas idir m'aoirí-sé agus d'aoirí-sé, mar is bráithre sinn.
8 Entonces Abram dijo á Lot: No haya ahora altercado entre mí y ti, entre mis pastores y los tuyos, porque somos hermanos.
8 Da sprach Abram zu Lot: Laß doch nicht Zank sein zwischen mir und dir und zwischen meinen und deinen Hirten; denn wir sind Gebrüder.
9 Is not all the land before you? then let us go our separate ways: if you go to the left, I will go to the right; or if you take the right, I will go to the left.
9 Tout le pays n'est-il pas devant toi? Sépare-toi donc de moi: si tu vas à gauche, j'irai à droite; si tu vas à droite, j'irai à gauche.
9 Má ghabhann tusa deiseal, rachadsa tuathal; má ghabhann tusa tuathal rachadsa deiseal.”
9 ¿No está toda la tierra delante de ti? Yo te ruego que te apartes de mí. Si fueres á la mano izquierda, yo iré á la derecha: y si tú á la derecha, yo iré á la izquierda.
9 Steht dir nicht alles Land offen? Scheide dich doch von mir. Willst du zur Linken, so will ich zur Rechten; oder willst du zur Rechten, so will ich zur Linken.
10 And Lot, lifting up his eyes and looking an the valley of Jordan, saw that it was well watered everywhere, before the Lord had sent destruction on Sodom and Gomorrah; it was like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt, on the way to Zoar.
10 Lot leva les yeux, et vit toute la plaine du Jourdain, qui était entièrement arrosée. Avant que l'Éternel eût détruit Sodome et Gomorrhe, c'était, jusqu'à Tsoar, comme un jardin de l'Éternel, comme le pays d'Égypte.
10 D'ardaigh Lót a shúile agus chonaic go raibh gleann na hIordáine arna uisciú go fónta i ngach treo baill chomh fada le Zoar agus é amhail gairdín an Tiarna nó tír na hÉigipte - ba sular scrios an Tiarna Sodom agus Gomorá é sin.
10 Y alzó Lot sus ojos, y vió toda la llanura del Jordán, que toda ella era de riego, antes que destruyese Jehová á Sodoma y á Gomorra, como el huerto de Jehová, como la tierra de Egipto entrando en Zoar.
10 Da hob Lot sein Augen auf und besah die ganze Gegend am Jordan. Denn ehe der HERR Sodom und Gomorra verderbte, war sie wasserreich, bis man gen Zoar kommt, als ein Garten des HERRN, gleichwie Ägyptenland.
11 So Lot took for himself all the valley of Jordan, and went to the east, and they were parted from one another.
11 Lot choisit pour lui toute la plaine du Jourdain, et il s'avança vers l'orient. C'est ainsi qu'ils se séparèrent l'un de l'autre.
11 Roghnaigh Lót gleann na hIordáine dó féin; ghluais Lót soir agus scaradar le chéile ar an gcuma sin.
11 Entonces Lot escogió para sí toda la llanura del Jordán: y partióse Lot de Oriente, y apartáronse el uno del otro.
11 Da erwählte sich Lot die ganze Gegend am Jordan und zog gegen Morgen. Also schied sich ein Bruder von dem andern,
12 Abram went on living in the land of Canaan, and Lot went to the lowland towns, moving his tent as far as Sodom.
12 Abram habita dans le pays de Canaan; et Lot habita dans les villes de la plaine, et dressa ses tentes jusqu'à Sodome.
12 Chuir Abrám faoi i dtír Chanán; chuir Lót faoi i measc cathracha an ghleanna agus d'aistrigh sé a bhoth i gcóngar Shodom.
12 Abram asentó en la tierra de Canaán, y Lot asentó en las ciudades de la llanura, y fué poniendo sus tiendas hasta Sodoma.
12 daß Abram wohnte im Lande Kanaan und Lot in den Städten der Jordangegend und setzte seine Hütte gen Sodom.
13 Now the men of Sodom were evil, and great sinners before the Lord.
13 Les gens de Sodome étaient méchants, et de grands pécheurs contre l'Éternel.
13 Drochdhaoine a ba ea muintir Shodom agus peacaigh mhóra in aghaidh an Tiarna.
13 Mas los hombres de Sodoma eran malos y pecadores para con Jehová en gran manera.
13 Aber die Leute zu Sodom waren böse und sündigten sehr wider den HERRN.
14 And the Lord had said to Abram, after Lot was parted from him, From this place where you are take a look to the north and to the south, to the east and to the west:
14 L'Éternel dit à Abram, après que Lot se fut séparé de lui: Lève les yeux, et, du lieu où tu es, regarde vers le nord et le midi, vers l'orient et l'occident;
14 Dúirt an Tiarna le hAbrám tar éis do Lót scaradh leis: “Féach uait ón áit ina bhfuil tú ó thuaidh, ó dheas, soir agus siar.
14 Y Jehová dijo á Abram, después que Lot se apartó de él: Alza ahora tus ojos, y mira desde el lugar donde estás hacia el Aquilón, y al Mediodía, y al Oriente y al Occidente;
14 Da nun Lot sich von Abram geschieden hatte, sprach der HERR zu Abram: Hebe dein Augen auf und siehe von der Stätte an, da du wohnst, gegen Mittag, gegen Morgen und gegen Abend.
15 For all the land which you see I will give to you and to your seed for ever.
15 car tout le pays que tu vois, je le donnerai à toi et à ta postérité pour toujours.
15 An talamh go léir a fheiceann tú tabharfaidh mé duit é agus do do shíol go brách.
15 Porque toda la tierra que ves, la daré á ti y á tu simiente para siempre.
15 Denn alles Land, das du siehst, will ich dir geben und deinem Samen ewiglich;
16 And I will make your children like the dust of the earth, so that if the dust of the earth may be numbered, then will your children be numbered.
16 Je rendrai ta postérité comme la poussière de la terre, en sorte que, si quelqu'un peut compter la poussière de la terre, ta postérité aussi sera comptée.
16 Déanfaidh mé do shíol mar an luaithreach ar an talamh i dtreo má fhéadann daoine na cáithníní luaithe ar an talamh a chomhaireamh, ansin féadfaidh siad do shíolsa a chomhaireamh!
16 Y haré tu simiente como el polvo de la tierra: que si alguno podrá contar el polvo de la tierra, también tu simiente será contada.
16 und ich will deinen Samen machen wie den Staub auf Erden. Kann ein Mensch den Staub auf Erden zählen, der wird auch deinen Samen zählen.
17 Come, go through all the land from one end to the other for I will give it to you.
17 Lève-toi, parcours le pays dans sa longueur et dans sa largeur; car je te le donnerai.
17 Éirigh agus siúil an tír ó cheann ceann agus ó thaobh taobh, mar tabharfaidh mé duit é.”
17 Levántate, ve por la tierra á lo largo de ella y á su ancho; porque á ti la tengo de dar.
17 Darum so mache dich auf und ziehe durch das Land in die Länge und Breite; denn dir will ich's geben.
18 And Abram, moving his tent, came and made his living-place by the holy tree of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and made an altar there to the Lord.
18 Abram leva ses tentes, et vint habiter parmi les chênes de Mamré, qui sont près d'Hébron. Et il bâtit là un autel à l'Éternel.
