1 Now the Lord said to Abram, Go out from your country and from your family and from your father's house, into the land to which I will be your guide:
1 L'Éternel dit à Abram: Va-t-en de ton pays, de ta patrie, et de la maison de ton père, dans le pays que je te montrerai.
1 Dúirt an Tiarna le hAbrám: “Imigh ó do thír féin, agus ó do mhuintir féin agus ó theach d'athar chun na tíre a thaispeánfaidh mé duit.
1 Empero Jehová había dicho á Abram: Vete de tu tierra y de tu parentela, y de la casa de tu padre, á la tierra que te mostraré;
1 Und der HERR sprach zu Abram: Gehe aus deinem Vaterlande und von deiner Freundschaft und aus deines Vaters Hause in ein Land, das ich dir zeigen will.
2 And I will make of you a great nation, blessing you and making your name great; and you will be a blessing:
2 Je ferai de toi une grande nation, et je te bénirai; je rendrai ton nom grand, et tu seras une source de bénédiction.
2 Déanfaidh mé cine mór díot agus beannóidh mé thú agus mórfaidh mé d'ainm chomh mór sin go mbeidh sé mar bheannacht ag daoine.
2 Y haré de ti una nación grande, y bendecirte he, y engrandeceré tu nombre, y serás bendición:
2 Und ich will dich zum großen Volk machen und will dich segnen und dir einen großen Namen machen, und sollst ein Segen sein.
3 To them who are good to you will I give blessing, and on him who does you wrong will I put my curse: and you will become a name of blessing to all the families of the earth.
3 Je bénirai ceux qui te béniront, et je maudirai ceux qui te maudiront; et toutes les familles de la terre seront bénies en toi.
3 Beidh mo bheannacht ar an muintir a chuirfidh beannacht ort. Beidh mo mhallacht ar an muintir a chuirfidh mallacht ort. Agus is tríotsa a dhéanfaidh ciníocha uile An domhain iad féin a bheannú.”
3 Y bendeciré á los que te bendijeren, y á los que te maldijeren maldeciré: y serán benditas en ti todas las familias de la tierra.
3 Ich will segnen, die dich segnen, und verfluchen, die dich verfluchen; und in dir sollen gesegnet werden alle Geschlechter auf Erden.
4 So Abram went as the Lord had said to him, and Lot went with him: Abram was seventy-five years old when he went away from Haran.
4 Abram partit, comme l'Éternel le lui avait dit, et Lot partit avec lui. Abram était âgé de soixante-quinze ans, lorsqu'il sortit de Charan.
4 D'imigh Abrám amach mar sin de réir mar a dúirt an Tiarna leis agus chuaigh Lót in éineacht leis. Bhí Abrám cúig bliana déag is trí fichid nuair a d'fhág sé Hárán.
4 Y fuése Abram, como Jehová le dijo; y fué con él Lot: y era Abram de edad de setenta y cinco años cuando salió de Harán.
4 Da zog Abram aus, wie der HERR zu ihm gesagt hatte, und Lot zog mit ihm. Abram aber ward fünfundsiebzig Jahre alt, da er aus Haran zog.
5 And Abram took Sarai, his wife, and Lot, his brother's son, and all their goods and the servants which they had got in Haran, and they went out to go to the land of Canaan.
5 Abram prit Saraï, sa femme, et Lot, fils de son frère, avec tous les biens qu'ils possédaient et les serviteurs qu'ils avaient acquis à Charan. Ils partirent pour aller dans le pays de Canaan, et ils arrivèrent au pays de Canaan.
5 Agus thug sé leis Sáraí a bhean, agus Lót mac a dhearthár, agus a raibh de mhaoin cnuasaithe acu agus a raibh de dhaoir ina seilbh acu i Hárán. D'imíodar leo ar an mbealach go Canán. Nuair a thánadar go Canán
5 Y tomó Abram á Sarai su mujer, y á Lot hijo de su hermano, y toda su hacienda que habían ganado, y las almas que habían adquirido en Harán, y salieron para ir á tierra de Canaán; y á tierra de Canaán llegaron.
5 Also nahm Abram sein Weib Sarai und Lot, seines Bruders Sohn, mit aller ihrer Habe, die sie gewonnen hatten, und die Seelen, die sie erworben hatten in Haran; und zogen aus, zu reisen in das Land Kanaan. Und als sie gekommen waren in dasselbe Land,
6 And Abram went through the land till he came to Shechem, to the holy tree of Moreh. At that time, the Canaanites were still living in the land.
6 Abram parcourut le pays jusqu'au lieu nommé Sichem, jusqu'aux chênes de Moré. Les Cananéens étaient alors dans le pays.
6 ghabh Abrám tríd an tír go tearmann Sheicim, go Dair Mhóire. Agus bhí na Canánaigh sa tír an uair úd.
6 Y pasó Abram por aquella tierra hasta el lugar de Sichêm, hasta el valle de Moreh: y el Cananeo estaba entonces en la tierra.
6 zog Abram durch bis an die Stätte Sichem und an den Hain More; es wohnten aber zu der Zeit die Kanaaniter im Lande.
7 And the Lord came to Abram, and said, I will give all this land to your seed; then Abram made an altar there to the Lord who had let himself be seen by him.
7 L'Éternel apparut à Abram, et dit: Je donnerai ce pays à ta postérité. Et Abram bâtit là un autel à l'Éternel, qui lui était apparu.
7 Thaispeáin an Tiarna é féin d'Abrám agus dúirt: “Is do do shíolsa a thabharfaidh mé an tír seo.” Ansin rinne sé altóir don Tiarna a thaispeáin é féin dó.
7 Y apareció Jehová á Abram, y le dijo: A tu simiente daré esta tierra. Y edificó allí un altar á Jehová, que le había aparecido.
7 Da erschien der HERR dem Abram und sprach: Deinem Samen will ich dies Land geben. Und er baute daselbst einen Altar dem HERRN, der ihm erschienen war.
8 And moving on from there to the mountain on the east of Beth-el, he put up his tent, having Beth-el on the west and Ai on the east: and there he made an altar and gave worship to the name of the Lord.
8 Il se transporta de là vers la montagne, à l'orient de Béthel, et il dressa ses tentes, ayant Béthel à l'occident et Aï à l'orient. Il bâtit encore là un autel à l'Éternel, et il invoqua le nom de l'Éternel.
8 Chuaigh sé as sin go dtí sliabh soir ó Bhéitéil, mar ar chuir sé suas a bhoth agus Béitéil laistiar dó agus Háí lastoir. Rinne sé altóir don Tiarna ansin ansiúd agus ghair sé ar ainm an Tiarna.
8 Y pasóse de allí á un monte al oriente de Bethel, y tendió su tienda, teniendo á Bethel al occidente y Hai al oriente: y edificó allí altar á Jehová é invocó el nombre de Jehová.
8 Darnach brach er auf von dort an einen Berg, der lag gegen Morgen von der Stadt Beth-El, und richtete seine Hütte auf, daß er Beth-El gegen Abend und Ai gegen Morgen hatte, und baute daselbst dem HERRN einen Altar und predigte von dem Namen des HERRN.
9 And he went on, journeying still to the South.
9 Abram continua ses marches, en s'avançant vers le midi.

9 Y movió Abram de allí, caminando y yendo hacia el Mediodía.

10 And because there was little food to be had in that land, he went down into Egypt.
10 Il y eut une famine dans le pays; et Abram descendit en Égypte pour y séjourner, car la famine était grande dans le pays.
10 Tharla gorta sa tír, agus chuaigh Abrám ó dheas go dtí an Éigipt chun cónaí ann mar go raibh an gorta ag luí go trom ar an tír.
10 Y hubo hambre en la tierra, y descendió Abram á Egipto para peregrinar allá; porque era grande el hambre en la tierra.
10 Es kam aber eine Teuerung in das Land. Da zog Abram hinab nach Ägypten, daß er sich daselbst als ein Fremdling aufhielte; denn die Teuerung war groß im Lande.
11 Now when he came near to Egypt, he said to Sarai, his wife, Truly, you are a fair woman and beautiful to the eye;
11 Comme il était près d'entrer en Égypte, il dit à Saraï, sa femme: Voici, je sais que tu es une femme belle de figure.
11 Agus é ar tí dul isteach san Éigipt dúirt Abrám lena bhean Sáraí: “Féach anois, tá a fhios agam gur sciamhach an bhean tú le féachaint ort.
11 Y aconteció que cuando estaba para entrar en Egipto, dijo á Sarai su mujer: He aquí, ahora conozco que eres mujer hermosa de vista;
11 Und da er nahe an Ägypten kam, sprach er zu seinem Weib Sarai: Siehe, ich weiß, daß du ein schönes Weib von Angesicht bist.
12 And I am certain that when the men of Egypt see you, they will say, This is his wife: and they will put me to death and keep you.
12 Quand les Égyptiens te verront, ils diront: C'est sa femme! Et ils me tueront, et te laisseront la vie.
12 Nuair a fheicfidh na hÉigiptigh thú, déarfaidh siad: ‘Sin í an bhean,’ agus maróidh siad mise ach déanfaidh siad anacal ortsa.
12 Y será que cuando te habrán visto los Egipcios, dirán: Su mujer es: y me matarán á mí, y á ti te reservarán la vida.
12 Wenn dich nun die Ägypter sehen werden, so werden sie sagen: Das ist sein Weib, und werden mich erwürgen, und dich leben lassen.
13 Say, then, that you are my sister, and so it will be well with me because of you, and my life will be kept safe on your account.
13 Dis, je te prie, que tu es ma soeur, afin que je sois bien traité à cause de toi, et que mon âme vive grâce à toi.
13 Abair leo gur tú mo dheirfiúr i dtreo go rithfidh go maith liom de do chionn-sa agus go ndéanfaí anacal orm ar do shonsa.”
13 Ahora pues, di que eres mi hermana, para que yo haya bien por causa tuya, y viva mi alma por amor de ti.
13 Sage doch, du seist meine Schwester, auf daß mir's wohl gehe um deinetwillen und meine Seele am Leben bleibe um deinetwillen.
14 And so it was that when Abram came into Egypt, the men of Egypt, looking on the woman, saw that she was fair.
14 Lorsque Abram fut arrivé en Égypte, les Égyptiens virent que la femme était fort belle.
14 Agus nuair a chuaigh Abrám isteach san Éigipt chonaic na hÉigiptigh go raibh an bhean an- sciamhach.
14 Y aconteció que, como entró Abram en Egipto, los Egipcios vieron la mujer que era hermosa en gran manera.
14 Als nun Abram nach Ägypten kam, sahen die Ägypter das Weib, daß sie sehr schön war.
15 And Pharaoh's great men, having seen her, said words in praise of her to Pharaoh, and she was taken into Pharaoh's house.
15 Les grands de Pharaon la virent aussi et la vantèrent à Pharaon; et la femme fut emmenée dans la maison de Pharaon.
15 Nuair a chonaic flatha Fhorainn í, mholadar í i láthair Fhorainn agus tugadh an bhean isteach i bpálás Fhorainn.
15 Viéronla también los príncipes de Faraón, y se la alabaron; y fué llevada la mujer á casa de Faraón:
15 Und die Fürsten des Pharao sahen sie und priesen sie vor ihm. Da ward sie in des Pharao Haus gebracht.
16 And because of her, he was good to Abram, and he had sheep and oxen and asses, and men-servants and women-servants, and camels.
16 Il traita bien Abram à cause d'elle; et Abram reçut des brebis, des boeufs, des ânes, des serviteurs et des servantes, des ânesses, et des chameaux.
16 Agus chaith seisean go maith le hAbrám ar a son agus fuair sé caoirigh agus eallach, agus asail, daoir fir agus mná, agus láracha asail, agus camaill.
16 E hizo bien á Abram por causa de ella; y tuvo ovejas, y vacas, y asnos, y siervos, y criadas, y asnas y camellos.
16 Und er tat Abram Gutes um ihretwillen. Und er hatte Schafe, Rinder, Esel, Knechte und Mägde, Eselinnen und Kamele.
17 And the Lord sent great troubles on Pharaoh's house because of Sarai, Abram's wife.
17 Mais l'Éternel frappa de grandes plaies Pharaon et sa maison, au sujet de Saraï, femme d'Abram.

17 Mas Jehová hirió á Faraón y á su casa con grandes plagas, por causa de Sarai mujer de Abram.
17 Aber der HERR plagte den Pharao mit großen Plagen und sein Haus um Sarais, Abrams Weibes, willen.
18 Then Pharaoh sent for Abram, and said, What have you done to me? why did you not say that she was your wife?
18 Alors Pharaon appela Abram, et dit: Qu'est-ce que tu m'as fait? Pourquoi ne m'as-tu pas déclaré que c'est ta femme?
18 Ghlaoigh Forann chuige ar Abrám dá bhrí sin agus dúirt: “Cad é seo a rinne tú orm? Cén fáth nár inis tú gurbh í do bhean í?
18 Entonces Faraón llamó á Abram y le dijo: ¿Qué es esto que has hecho conmigo? ¿Por qué no me declaraste que era tu mujer?
18 Da rief Pharao Abram zu sich und sprach zu ihm: Warum hast du mir das getan? Warum sagtest du mir's nicht, daß sie dein Weib wäre?
19 Why did you say that she was your sister? so that I took her for my wife: now, take your wife and go on your way.
19 Pourquoi as-tu dit: C'est ma soeur? Aussi l'ai-je prise pour ma femme. Maintenant, voici ta femme, prends-la, et va-t-en!
19 Cén fáth a ndúirt tú: ‘Is í mo dheirfiúr í,’ i dtreo go ndearna mé mo chuid féin di? Sea anois, sin í do bhean agat! Beir leat í agus imigh!”
19 ¿Por qué dijiste: Es mi hermana? poniéndome en ocasión de tomarla para mí por mujer? Ahora pues, he aquí tu mujer, tómala y vete.
19 Warum sprachst du denn, sie wäre deine Schwester? Derhalben ich sie mir zum Weibe nehmen wollte. Und nun siehe, da hast du dein Weib; nimm sie und ziehe hin.
20 And Pharaoh gave orders to his men, and they sent him on his way, with his wife and all he had.
20 Et Pharaon donna ordre à ses gens de le renvoyer, lui et sa femme, avec tout ce qui lui appartenait.
